CHAPTER 16: Randomness Time II

[Tsukinomori Girls' Academy, Normal Earth]
As afternoon comes, outside of a school known as Tsukinomori Girls' Academy in Normal Earth, we see Kazuto "Kirito" Kirigaya (Narusaka) hanging out not far from the benches with Asuna Yuuki, Touma Kamijou, and another girl beside Kazuto.
The said girl has a long blond hair which tied up with a flower-like hairband to a ponytail. Her hair bangs, however, are not tied up with her hair, and her ears are quite long and pointy. She wears a green jacket with white linings and puffy shoulder sleeves and white frilled arm-sleeves over a white thigh-length singlet with frilled ends and a brown corset wrapped around her waist over a green tailcoat with white trimmings, she wears a white thigh-high legwear with frilled ends and brown straps in each thighs and brown boots with white folds. She wears a white choker with a gem on it. This is Leafa, known by her real name as Suguha Kirigaya.
Suguha is the erstwhile adoptive sister of Kazuto, who is in reality her own cousin, because of personal circumstances. To make things even stranger, she happens to be the double cousin of Touko Kirigaya, because of their respective mothers marrying to the Kirigaya siblings of the same parent.
"So, this is the school where your cousin goes, huh?" Touma questioned.
"She's really popular ever since kindergarten and has been in that school, ever since." Kazuto said.
"No offence, Kirito and Suguha-san, but your cousin has a weird way of influencing people on social media, including selfies." Asuna replied. "I mean did you even remember that time when Touko-san suddenly forced us to be part of her selfie?" She questioned.
"That's the type of person she is." Kazuto remarked.
"Our family is really confusing to explain, but other than that, it's a strange one." Suguha relented.
"And not to mention, it's her birthday tomorrow: December 16." Kazuto said.
"Hold up, hold up. You said it's your cousin's birthday tomorrow?" Touma exclaimed.
"Truth to be told, yes. And I know for the fact that she's going to spread it across social media, knowing the kind of person she truly is." Kazuto said.
"But listen, I've been keeping an eye on her, and she is apparently dating this prince from Sakurada Kingdom, ever since that time she performed there." Suguha said.
"You mean Haruka Sakurada?" Asuna said, before she heard the "dating" part from Suguha with surprise. "HUH? For how long she's doing it?!" She asked Suguha.
"Try to be quiet, Asuna-san! She and her own friends from Morfonica, and even ours, will hear us!" Suguha exclaimed. "She must be timing that date with her birthday tomorrow, so we should keep that in secret." She claimed.
"Hear what, eh?" A voice suddenly appears in a mischievous manner, which spooked Suguha, revealing to be Peacock behind them.
"A...ah!" Suguha said in surprise. "Peacock-san! Don't just surprise us!" She exclaimed.
"What were you guys talkin' about? I heard that somethin' special is coming up." She remarked.
"Nothing." Touma said with a rather lying voice. "We were just waiting for someone here." He added.
Peacock is seen wearing sunglasses that hide her eye sockets, while she is seen smoking a cigar, while wearing what seems to be plumber clothing, but her clothing and most of her entire body is mostly drenched with water for unknown reasons. Within her belt are plumbing tools including wrenches and pliers around her tool belt, much to the confusion and enigma of Touma, Yuuki, Kazuto, and Suguha.
"What are you doing here?" Kazuto asked.
"And why are you wet?" Suguha observed.
"Well, just to spend some time-off going nuts from all the shit that happened in my own world, a few days ago, I think I found some career to pass the time, which is plumbing work, or at least a half of it." Peacock added. "Additionally, the water main pipe exploded, and it was that damn fun!" She added liberally, before they looked at the source of what the Anti-Skullgirl Weapon is talking about.
"You... WHAT?" Kazuto asked in shock.
"Oh, no." Asuna asked in front of Peacock. "What did you do?!" She bellowed in annoyance.
"Plumbing, of course. Isn't that fun, Asuna!" Peacock excused, whom Asuna had no idea what to respond from this increasingly inane logic of the Murder-Go-Round.
"By exploding the water main pipe?" Suguha asked in a rather dumbfounded manner.
"What the fuck did you do...?!" Touma questioned in disbelief.
Suddenly, several Tsukinomori Girls' Academy students glanced suspiciously at the ragtag group who are currently arguing. However, the most particular of those students within the crowd is none other than the Morfonica guitarist Touko Kirigaya, who is in her Tsukinomori school uniform, which comprises of a long-sleeved dark-blue buttoned shirt, a golden emblem within the pocket, a dark-blue and white skirt, as well as black socks and brown loafers. Touko is also with four other girls, who appear to be her bandmates from Morfonica.
As for Touko, unlike her usual upbeat personality, she finds herself at the receiving end of annoyance and disbelief upon seeing the ragtag Unity Force group not far from them, when they overheard about Peacock's ridiculous blunder of exploding the water main pipe as a guise of doing "plumbing work".
The first girl is a girl of average height with light blue eyes and shoulder-length whitish-blue hair. Her face is very shy-looking. This is Mashiro Kurata, the vocalist of Morfonica.
The second girl has slightly past shoulder-length light pink hair and pink eyes. Part of her hair is put into twin tails. This is Nanami Hiromachi, the bassist of Morfonica.
The third girl has dark purple hair and orange eyes. Her hair is put into twin tails. This is Tsukushi Futaba, the leader and the drummer of Morfonica.
The fourth and final girl has just past chin-length, dark brown hair and thin, brownish-red eyes. Her bangs are parted to her left and go down past her chin. Part of her bangs goes between her eyes, down to the base of her nose. She is also seen with a stoic expression in her face. This is Rui Yashio, the violinist of Morfonica.
Touko, Mashiro, Nanami, Tsukushi, and Rui later approach the rest of the Unity Force group, whom they are unaware of what they have just heard.
"Just what are you all doing here in Tsukinomori?" Rui asked warily in a stoic manner.
"It's nothing of the matter." Kazuto said, who is attempting to defuse the situation.
"Cousin Kazuto? Cousin Suguha? Touma-san? Peacock-san? Asuna-chan? What is the meaning of this?" Touko questioned.
"You know these people, Touko-chan?" Mashiro asked.
"Eh? You also have cousins, as well?" Nanami questioned.
"It's complicated, but yes, I know who these ragtag group of people are, and two of them happen to be my cousins." Touko explained more about it. "Also, Peacock-san, why are you wet and why are you wearing a plumber outfit?" She asked, while glancing at Peacock's rather strange outfit.
"It's her 'plumbing work', that's why." Touma pointed out at Peacock lazily.
"What do you mean by that?" Tsukushi asked, sounding rather more sceptical.
"Don't you lie, Peacock-san." Touko said stiffly. "I know you did something completely stupid with this 'plumbing work' of yours." She continued.
"Oh, I just accidentally exploded a water main pipe with a potassium that fell from my pocket." Peacock liberally revealed the true cause of the blunder she happened to commit earlier.
"FUCKING WHAT?!" Touko exclaimed.
"Are you okay, Touko-chan?" Nanami questioned.
"This is unlike you, Kirigaya-san." Rui pointed out.
"Well, how about you explain what the fuck Peacock-san just did, Rui?" Touko shot back at Rui's concern.
"I guess this is what you get for hanging out with a bunch of ragtag freaks, Touko-chan." Tsukushi teased.
"I don't want to know, okay?" Touko questioned, before Tsukushi relented.
"This is rather unbecoming." Nanami commented.
"Forget about it." Touko said, as she calmed herself down.
"Don't worry, we already dealt with it." Peacock uttered. "Honestly, people in this world are boring, so I decided to make some fireworks show earlier." She remarked.
"Duh. It's called Normal Earth for a reason." Touma said.
"You're crazy." Rui said sharply. "Bet why you go here in Tsukinomori is a mystery that I cannot answer." She added.
"Well, Touko-san happens to be a member of the Unity Force, according to Sayo-san, so we decided to check on her." Asuna said.
"Unity Force?" Mashiro questioned.
"Don't forget that we have a surprise for her birthday tomorrow." Suguha whispered at Asuna.
"Trust us, Touko also knows about it, as well." Kazuto said.
"I can explain what it is for all of you, but please, don't get me and the rest of us involved in such a trouble again." Touko said.
Afterwards, Touko later begins explaining to the rest of her bandmates about the Unity Force and the existence of several worlds, as well as the multiverse. She goes into additionally explaining about the goals of the organisation, including saving the world from any threat it comes into.
"So you juggle your responsibilities as a band member of Morfonica, a student of Tsukinomori, and a hero?" Tsukushi said.
"Trust me, I'm still on the part of becoming a hero!" Touko said, who goes back to her normal self. "And I know that the Unity Force is full of ragtag people in there, but just like the rest of these guys in front of us, they are nothing short of fun!" She ended.
"Oh, uh, Touko-chan." Suguha said, who tries to hide the truth behind her cousin's upcoming birthday. "Maybe you should bring these friends of yours to the U.F. Academy." She offered.
"Listen, I'll talk to Rocket and Groot about it, and see how we can surprise her." Touma whispered to Peacock.
"Just leave it to me!" Peacock whispered.
"Give me and Suguha-san some time to distract her." Touma said, with Peacock nodding.
"Why is it?" Touko asked.
"I mean why not?" Touma asked. "Plus, the Academy itself is not just an academy, but a tourist attraction, so you guys might need to spend some time in there." He added.
"What do you mean by that?" Mashiro questioned.
"You will see, once we come back." Touko said, before he uses his teleporter that sends them to the Unity Force Academy.
"What in the...?" Rui questioned.
"Did you just use some kind of futuristic technology, Touko-chan?!" Nanami asked in curiosity.
"The academy is really big, hence why teleporters are commonplace." Touko said. "Trust us, you don't want to get lost in the middle of nowhere." She added.
From there, Touma, Suguha, Kazuto, Asuna, Peacock, Touko, Mashiro, Nanami, Tsukushi, and Rui later arrive from the portal that directs them to the main entrance of the Unity Force Academy, where the Morfonica sans Touko are greeted with a sight they have never seen before in their entire lives.
For them, this place is not something they regularly see in Tsukinomori, but only in science-fiction flicks.
But unknown to the rest of the group sans Peacock, Suguha is secretly relaying a message to one of Touko's friends, Sayo Hikawa, whom she hasn't known anything about it, and so she tells her not to spoil the surprise as soon as possible.
[Golden Bricks Bowling Alley, U.F. Earth]
[PLAY MUSIC: Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name]
Meanwhile, as that happens, in the Golden Bricks Bowling Alley, outside of the Unity Force Academy, we see several students playing bowling, as well as a variety of Unity Force students that are present.
The Golden Bricks Bowling Alley is a popular bowling alley that is often visited by the students of UF Academy, as it contains not just the bowling alley itself, but also other points of leisure for non-bowling enthusiasts, including arcade games, a diner, a slot machine, and a bar for alcoholics.
From there, we see Hayate Ayasaki, Nagi Sanzenin, Kanta Mizuno, Ikaros, Koyuki Himekawa, Kano Sazanami, Ben Tennyson and Tomoki Sakurai on one side of the bowling alley. On the other, we see Gon Freeccs, Robin, Cyborg/Victor Stone, Soul Eater Evans, Kurapika, Taichi "Tai" Yagami, and Nagisa Shiota playing. From one of the slot machines, we see Rocket Raccoon playing the game over and over again with Groot beside him, until to the point the machine itself breaks completely. On the other slot machine, we see Tsunade Senjuu playing it as well, but thanks to her incredibly bad luck, she pretty much loses every single attempt she throws, much to her disappointment.
At the bar, we see Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Hidan, Deidara, Kisame Hoshigaki, and Itachi Uchiha drinking in their off-duty days as heroes, as well as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Frank Castle/Punisher, Prime!Dante, Nero, and Drax the Destroyer on the other table, before they are greeted by Blade/Eric Brooks.
Within the diner, we see Sayo Hikawa and Hina Hikawa are seen having conversation one another, who are currently in their Hanasakigawa and Haneoka school uniforms, respectively.
For now, they want to spend their time off from their friends, especially after the debacle that happened between her and their own cousins Alice and Eve Kagayaki that only stirred more trouble than good for the Hikawas. As for Sayo, she initially doesn't want to think what went wrong to their family and how this divisive relationship started in the first place, until they decided to finally end this trouble, once and for all, by reconciling to one another, as a family.
But just when they think they are away from the scoop of surprises, they are wrong.
From there, in one of the tables. Sayo is seen having a medium-sized plate of classic Canadian poutine and a glass of Dr. Pepper drink. She eats it as fast as possible, much to the confusion of the rest around them, while knowing that her hidden side of adoring junk foods will never disappear, no matter how much she hides and laughs it off for any reasons that she can imagine. Hina, on the other hand, is merrily eating nachos and drinking a glass of lemonade.
"Are you okay, Onee-chan?" Hina asked brightly.
"Hope so." Sayo said. "Can't believe that we had to sacrifice our time hanging out with the rest, just to deal with the fallout of what happened between us and our other family: Kagayaki family." She added. "I guess this was no different from being an idol, 13 years ago, but it was finally solved for the best." She admitted.
"You still think about that day, do you?" Hina inquired.
"Maybe, but think about it." Sayo said. "It's like how Izumo-san fell to despair for the past eight years, because of a tragedy that befell her family." She continued, not hesitating to bat an eye, as she continues eating. "Everything would have gone to a complete misery for you, for our deceased father, and our mother, if we didn't do anything about it, much like how Chito-san's group did to help Izumo-san out." She continued.
"It's okay now." Hina reaffirmed.
"Look, Hina. I just want to do something life-changing outside of our bands, okay?" Sayo admitted. "Admittedly, because of that conversation, a year ago, I was able to finally get out of this inferiority complex loop and understood more about you." She added.
"You did good, Onee-chan." Hina reassured.
However, their pep talk was suddenly interrupted when Sayo's phone vibrates, whom she later receives a message from none other than Suguha. The contents of it, however, surprised her.
"Sayo-san, don't tell everyone else until the time is right. Tomorrow is my cousin's birthday, and you won't believe what we also heard when Peacock-san eavesdropped from her conversation with the rest of her bandmates! She's going to her date in Sakurada Kingdom tomorrow afternoon with Haruka-san, so I need you and Hina-chan's help!
- Your one and only Suguha!"
"No way? Kirigaya-san''s birthday is tomorrow?" Sayo questioned.
"Eh?! It's Touko-chan's birthday?!" Hina exclaimed.
"Not to mention, she's dating someone." Sayo said. "And her cousin is telling me that I need her help. Help for what?" She questioned.
"Probably surprising Touko-chan?" Hina asked. "I get it! We should talk to Touko-chan's cousins and our friends on secret and plan it out!" She continued.
"Eh...?!" Sayo exclaimed. "Are you sure will that work?" She asked.
"Leave it to me!" Hina exclaimed.
"I don't know how that will work out." Sayo sceptically said.

[Sakurada Kingdom, Normal Earth]
The next day at 2:55 P.M., as Touko's birthday continues, from another part of Normal Earth known as Sakurada Kingdom, after much convincing from Hina, we see Chito, Yuuri, Sayo, Hina, as well as a boy (in a girl's outfit) and a girl watching intently within what seems to be a food court within the mall, while they are dressed in rather plain outfits. The Hikawa Twins decided to cut class, under the pretence of "sickness", after much manipulation and lying from their respective teachers, while waiting for Touko and her rumoured date to happen in her own birthday.
The Sakurada Kingdom, true to its name, is a kingdom but only in name, had it not for the castle that can be seen from the distance around them. Much like all else, it is often seen as a town or a city in the modern times. What stands out for, however, is its own royal family. Unlike most royal families from across the globe, who often live in aristocracy, the members of the Sakurada Royal Family all live in completely ordinary lives like most middle-class families.
The boy has short, curly, light pink hair, with a braid worn on the left side of his head and a slender body. His eyes are dark pink, and he has a beauty mark under his left eye. This is Reona West, who is a PriPara idol.
The girl has short, light blue hair with a single braid on the right, while her hair accessories are worn to the left. Her eyes are bright blue. This is Dorothy West, the older twin of Reona, who is also a PriPara idol.
"Huh... This kingdom is like a normal city to me." Yuuri remarked.
"Hina and I skipped school just for this." Sayo added, as she sighed in annoyance.
"So, what's our plan here?" Chito said, as she is seen smoking a Winston Lights cigarette, with Yuuri drinking a can of Red Bull.
"We'll wait, until Touko-chan meets up with her date itself, then Chii-chan, me, and Hina-chan will follow her to where she goes next." Yuuri said. "Sayo-san, you still handle the logistics of this plan, right?" She asked, with Sayo nodding.
"There's still 20 minutes before Kirigaya-san's class ends." Sayo said.
"Once the clock ticks in to 3:15 P.M., I'll contact Suguha-nee-chan and Kazuto-nii-sama to get ready!" Dorothy said.
"So, what's our other plan, Sayo-nee-san?" Reona asked.
"Can you two locate where this Royal Family live?" Sayo asked. "Peacock said that they live a normal life here, so I highly doubt they live in that castle." She remarked.
"According to Touko, the royal family there don't live rich-ass lives, unlike most darn'toothin aristocrats do! It was disappointin' that Parasoul and Umbrella didn't join in!" Peacock's reminder echoed through Chito's head.
"Will do!" Dorothy said. "Let's go, Reona!" She continued.
"Hey, wait!" Reona said futilely, before the two disappear, leaving only Chito, Yuuri, Sayo, and Hina.
"Any ideas?" Yuuri said.
"Kirigaya-san said that she is meeting him to that mall right in front of us, so we can't take the risk of getting detected by her." Sayo remarked. "So why not we should go inside and visit a fast food chain to wait until the time is right?" She said.
"Sounds wonderful, Onee-chan!" Hina uttered.
"Now that you mention it, I'm already hungry!" Yuuri exclaimed.
"Every time we go, Yuu thinks about food." Chito commented.
"Without it, you're dead." Yuuri remarked.
As 3:45 P.M. ticks in, forty minutes later, we see Chito, Yuuri, Sayo, and Hina inside what appears to be a KFC/Taco Bell fast food chain inside of the mall, while continuously eyeing for any presence that stands out as they continue eating, in regards to Touko or to Haruka. They all wear sunglasses and hoodies to prevent themselves from getting detected. But as expected for their forty minutes of waiting, nothing stands out yet, until they see a teenage boy in particular.
"So boring!" Hina said.
"You just wait." Sayo reminded.
"Hey, I see something familiar there." Yuuri said, as she sees the said boy, while eating chicken drumsticks, fries, and a spicy chicken taco, all in a rapid succession, causing some of the rest to eye on her rather strange eating habits.
"Please try to eat normally." Chito egged.
"Speaking of which, I see Touko-chan, as well." Hina said. "I was right, they are indeed dating!" She added.
"I guess her relationship with that Haruka guy started when Morfonica performed in front of this kingdom's Royal Family, a few months ago." Sayo remarked.
"Are they on some kind of a tryst?" Hina asked, as her eyes winked.
"Please, try not to say those words." Chito said. "They might misinterpret what you're talking about." She asserted.
From outside of KFC/Taco Bell, we see Touko, now in her casual clothing, rendezvousing with the said boy in a rather romantic way, while unbeknown to them Chito's Unity Force group are watching their move, as part of their plan to surprise her.
The boy is a teenage boy with average build and height, who looks slightly feminine. He has short, light purple hair which reaches down to his lower chin and blue coloured eyes. He also wears a casual clothing that consists of a teal long-sleeved shirt, white buttoned shirt, khaki pants, and brown and teal sneakers. This is Haruka Sakurada, one of the princes of the Sakurada Royal Family, and Touko's current love interest.
"Ah, Haruka-kun!" Touko greeted.
"H-hey, calm down, Touko! It may be your birthday today, but please try to behave a little bit." Haruka uttered.
"What, shy now?" Touko teased, much to Haruka's dismay. "When the rest of my Morfonica bandmates performed at the Royal Castle here, in front of you and the Royal Family, you were not shy at winning my emotions for my performance. And now, you're shy?" She continues her teasing. "You don't need to, anymore!" She chuckled.
"But that was different, Touko." Haruka replied. "As expected from Lots of Next, this is an expected outcome, but not in a way that I do expect!" He thought. "So, where do you want to go?" He asked.
While that happens, back at KFC/Taco Bell joint, as the rest of Chito's group are delightfully eating the last of their meals while peering at Touko and Haruka, they are suddenly greeted by an old man reading what appears to be a book known as No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai, before he suddenly greets the rest of her group, much to her dismay.
The old man has white hair with a black top and has brown eyes and white moustache. He wears a dark-brown long-sleeve shirt over a white collared long-sleeve shirt, khaki pants and brown shoes. He also wears an orange sunglasses. This is Stan Lee.
"Judging by your looks, I'd guess you're all heroes, I assume?" Stan greeted from out of nowhere, before he leaves, causing Chito to spit her drink in front of Yuuri.
"What the? Is he trying to expose us furthermore?!" Chito grumbled in annoyance.
"Hey, knock it off, Chii-chan!" Yuuri exclaimed, as some soda is on her clothing.
"Oh, fuck." Sayo cursed, as she looks at the glass, revealing that Touko has heard the source of the voice, before she and Haruka proceed to check it out. "Are you kidding me?!" She uttered.
"Great, now our cover is blown." Hina said. "Mission abort! Mission abort! Mission abort!" She uttered thrice.
"We have to get out of here, now. Touko-san must not find out that we are here." Chito said, as she tells the rest to leave the fast food chain, as soon as possible.
"All for a stupid old fart to ruin our secret plan!" Yuuri exclaimed, as she secretly takes the remaining bucket of chicken. "Let's scram, before they find out!" She added.
"If I can tell, it's one of the alternate exits that we can take." Sayo uttered, as she looks at the door in front of them.
"Here goes nothing!" Hina said, before she quickly opens the door, as they run away, while the customers simply eye at them with weird looks.
The rest of Chito's group later avoid Touko and Haruka's presence, much to their relief, which is good news, as they witness the two leaving KFC/Taco Bell, while narrowly avoiding any scene they might have just unintentionally caused inside the fast food chain.
The bad news, on the other hand, is that they did not expect what awaits in front of them: Yukina Minato and Rui Yashio, who bore both looks of annoyance and dismay. However, the former is more pissed when she witnesses Sayo and Hina skipping class in Hanasakigawa and Haneoka, respectively, under the guise of "illness". One of which was when Yukina found out from Tsugumi Hazawa and the other from Rinko Shirokane, and from Rui, who seemingly found out what Chito's group was planning.

"...!" Hina gulped.
"M-Minato-san! Yashio-san!" Sayo uttered. "H-hello there!" She greeted nervously.
"What are the rest of you up to?" Yukina asked suspiciously.
"A... a... ah... We can explain." Sayo said.
"Explain then." Rui said. "You think that me and Minato-san didn't see what you no-good idiots are up to?" She said sternly, almost sounding like a disappointed mother.
"We were watching Touko-chan and his date." Hina said.
"And you two really skipped school for this?" Yukina asked, whom she facepalmed herself in disbelief, who is referring to Sayo and Hina.
"You don't understand what we are doing, right?" Chito questioned back.
"We are helping the Hikawas to watch and help with Touko-chan's date, and we'll surprise her on her birthday!" Yuuri beamed.
"By causing a scene inside KFC?" Rui asked disappointingly. "And whatever you guys are up to, it's nowhere normal to peer on someone's affairs." She continued. "And why do you have to creepily spy on Kirigaya-san's birthday date with Sakurada-san?" She added furthermore.
"Plus, letting these two skip a day of school?" Yukina said in disbelief. "You know how much Rinko and Hazawa-san were bombarding me with texts about their absences, because of all this nonsense?" She added. "And you, Hina Hikawa, of all people, should know better!" She criticised. "You just missed a Student Council Meeting as the President of Haneoka's Student Council, and do you have any idea what sort of trouble you have just caused in there?" She berated.
"I... I..." Hina stuttered.
"Don't answer." Yukina continued her berating. "And Sayo Hikawa, out of all the people I can imagine, you were the one perpetrating this bullshit in the first place?" She questioned.
"Wait, you can't just blame on Sayo-san for this!" Chito said, who attempts to defend Sayo and Hina.
"We were the one who planned this out!" Yuuri admitted. "Now listen here, Yukina-san and Rui-san, why not help us out in surprising Touko-san for her special day, instead of us arguing like dispassionate, unsentimental pricks in the first place?" She suggested.
Rui sighed in dismay. "You know that this kind of nonsensical, mind-boggling reasoning is not going to work in the first place." She spoke. "Because the rest of our bandmates are visiting here." She continued. "Plus, Minato-san helped me out here." She ended, with Yukina nodding.
"Aren't you two forgetting that this is a surprise for both of them?" Yuuri questioned, who proceeds to eat a drumstick from the leftover KFC chicken bucket that they purchased earlier. "Want some?" She asked Yukina, but was ignored.
"Were you not listening?" Yukina questioned in utter annoyance. "Not only you two forced to partake Sayo and Hina over this extremely ludicrous nonsense that you pulled off, but also telling us that you want to keep an eye on Kirigaya-san's date, while also nearly causing a scene at a fast food chain?" She added in dismay.
"Trust us, everything will be fine." Yuuri continued.
"And if everything goes wrong, you, Yuuri, Sayo, and Hina are not going to blame me and Yashio-san over this." Yukina said.
"Okay, okay! We'll promise." Yuuri added. "Such a true pessimist you are." She commented, but Yukina only gives her the cold shoulder.
"And as for me, I have to rendezvous with the rest of Morfonica, since they are also visiting to the Sakurada Residence." Rui said, before leaving, as the rest continue their elaborate plan, with Yukina unfortunately now being a part of it.
Meanwhile, with Reona and Dorothy West, they are later seen perching sneakily at a tree, while they are within the line of sight of what looked like a giant house. What they don't know, however, is that this said house is the residence of the Sakurada Royal Family, whom they suddenly found out that they indeed live a normal life, completely contrasting most royalties across Normal Earth.
Reona, meanwhile, could not help but to scratch his head in complete enigma and confusion over this newfound discovery that he just happens to see.
"So, Peacock-san was right, after all." Reona said. "They live normal lives." She added.
"Talk about living a double life!" Dorothy exclaimed. "But I commend them for doing so, since I've never seen any royal family going into this path!" She added.
"I hope the rest are fine." Reona worried.
But suddenly, a womanly voice can be heard from below the tree that the rest are in.
"What are you two doing at that tree?" The woman asked.
"Gah!" Reona exclaimed, whom he was spooked, causing him and Dorothy to fall down from the tree branch and into the ground.
"We can explain this!" Dorothy continued.
"Yeah, yeah! We do!" Reona uttered.
The woman, on the other hand, looked at the West twins in concern, with her current facial expression showing signs of kindness, with signs of malicious intent being nil.
"Are you two okay?" The woman asked kindly.
"I don't know what you are up to, but please spare the thought and don't kill us because of us being stupid!" Dorothy exclaimed in utter confusion.
The young woman below them is of an average build and height that has been described to be very beautiful. She has long, straight, royal blue hair with some strands of hair hanging between her eyes with her fringe parted most to the right, and her hair falls freely down to her lower back. She has blue eyes and a fair and light complexion. She is also seen wearing a casual outfit that consists of an orange jacket, blue knee-length pants, and yellow-and-white sneakers. This is Aoi Sakurada, the eldest of the Sakurada siblings, and one of the princesses of Sakurada Kingdom.
"Okay, then?" Aoi questioned in scepticism, but she shows absolutely no malice. "Wait, I think I know who both of you are. Are you from the Unity Force?" She suddenly blurted. "I'm Aoi Sakurada, one of the Princesses of Sakurada Kingdom! Well, just call me Aoi-nee-sama, if you want, since I know you both." She introduced.
"Eh?" Reona questioned. "Are you going to expose us?!" He suddenly threatened.
"What are you talking about?" Aoi said. "Of course, not. The truth is, the rest of my family do know who you are, even before that Jameson exposed you live on air, and we did our best to clear your names once he did." She added, whom she knew about J. Jonah Jameson's attempts to destroy the reputation of Unity Force, a few weeks ago.
"I know what you're thinking, Aoi-nee-sama..." Reona said.
"And we do know who Touko-nee-san is." Dorothy added. "But why do you want to ask us about it?" She continued questioning.
"Isn't that obvious?" Aoi said. "She's Haruka's girlfriend!" She added.
"Eh? We know that one from Sayo-nee-sama already." Reona answered.
"You know how excited the rest of our family to see you guys, especially the rest about the Unity Force!" Aoi suddenly beamed.
"Excuse us?! Are you trying to spoil the surprise for Touko-nee-san, since it's her birthday?!" Dorothy exclaimed.
Aoi simply laughs at the two.
"What's so funny?" Dorothy asked.
"We were watching your move, both of you, right? That tree has a hidden camera on it!" Aoi revealed, before they indeed see a camera nestled within a tree, much to the shock of the twins. "There's like over 2,000 of them installed." She continued. "Now, don't be shy, because we also know about Touko-chan, as well. Not to mention, some of your friends are there, as well." She ended, before Aoi held their hands tight, so that they have no chance of escaping.
"You have got to be kidding me...!" Reona uttered.
For the West twins, they are pretty much unsettled and shocked that a kindhearted princess of a kingdom would be able to pierce through their cover, who also knew about the existence of the Unity Force, before even Jameson exposed them, from out of nowhere, which would basically tarnish their image as heroes.
"We also have visitors here, as well!" Aoi called.
But for now, the twin siblings, under the courtesy of Aoi, reluctantly entered inside what appeared to be a home and it was filled to the brim with several people inside, including Aoi, Suguha, Kazuto, Asuna, and several others, including nine people.
"Is this the Sakurada family...?" Reona asked.
"Oh, it's Reona-kun and Doroty-chan!" Suguha greeted.
"What are you doing here?" Kazuto asked.
"Not to mention, how did you find this place?" Asuna asked.
"It's a long story, admittedly." Reona said.
"It seems you have other friends from the Unity Force, as well, Suguha-san." One of the females said.
"Who are those people...?" One of the females questioned shyly, on the verge of passing out.
"Is she okay?" Reona asked.
"She's extremely shy, according to her mother." Kazuto said.
"Well, shit. Here we go again." Dorothy said in bewilderment.
The first person is a young man who is considered handsome by some girls and he is also quite tall and has a lean build. He has short black hair, which is slightly spiked and reaches down to his neck, and he has medium blue-coloured eyes. He wears an off-white sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and slippers. This is Shuu Sakurada.
The second person is a young adult with average build and height, noted to have a big chest size. She has short, bobbed, black hair which reaches down to around her lower chin, and her eyes are bright grey and she has fair skin and a light complexion. She also resembles Shuu, as well. She is noted to have a quite attractive and curvaceous figure. She wears a teal-coloured turtleneck shirt, blue shorts, and slippers. This is Kanade Sakurada, Shuu's younger twin.
The third person is a teenage girl with an average build, although she is quite short. She is noted to be flat-chested, but beautiful as well. She has straight, long, deep-red hair that is waist-length, which she ties into low twin-tails with white ribbons at each side. She has red eyes, a fair and light complexion that is prone to blushing easily, and a petite frame. She wears a purple blouse with a red hoodless jacket, red shorts, and slippers. This is Akane Sakurada.
The fourth person is a young teenage-girl with average build and height. She has straight, baby-pink coloured hair, usually seen being pulled into a high pony tail with a black hair clip, and when she (rarely) has her hair down, it reaches her upper back. She has bright, green-coloured eyes, and a fair and light complexion. She wears a beige blouse, blue shorts, and slippers. This is Misaki Sakurada, the older twin sister of Haruka.
The fifth person is a young girl with average height and build. She has long, straight and blonde hair reaching down to her lower back, and she has two strands of hair framing her face. She two small pieces of her hair tied into twin-tails with red ribbons on each side; with the other hair hanging loosely. She has aqua blue eyes, and a fair and light complexion. She wears a blue hoodie jacket, green knee-length skirt, and slippers. This is Hikari Sakurada.
The sixth person is a young boy with spiky, light brown hair and round blue eyes. He wears a white shirt, brown shorts, and slippers. This is Teru Sakurada.
The seventh person is a young girl with short, bobbed and straight dark blue hair, with a piece of hair tied into a small ponytail at the side with a purple twin bead hairband. She also has a strand of hair hanging between her eyes. She has magenta-coloured eyes, a fair and light complexion. She wears a white and pink dress, black shorts, and slippers. This is Shiori Sakurada, the youngest child of the Sakurada Family.
The eighth person is a tall man with broad shoulders. He has short, slightly spiked black hair and black eyes. He is also seen to have a little beard and light wrinkles under his eyes. He wears a dark-blue shirt, khaki pants, and slippers. This is Souichirou Sakurada, the father of the Sakurada siblings and the current monarch of the Sakurada Kingdom.
The ninth and final person is a youthful-looking fair-skinned woman with shoulder-length pale orange hair that is tied in a piece of her hair into a bun in the back with bangs swept to the left side and orange eyes. She wears a light blue shirt, a long beige-colored skirt and a pink apron, as well as slippers. This is Satsuki Sakurada, the mother of the Sakurada siblings.
As for what Reona and Dorothy have already suspected, they were right on the bill with Peacock's deduction, when they realised that the Sakurada Royal Family do indeed live a normal life, in spite of their status as a Royal Family, and are seldom seen in their castle, whom they only visit there for important purposes, including diplomatic visits.
"So you're the other friends of Haru-kun and Touko-nee-chan?" Misaki asked Reona and Dorothy.
"Oh, you mean Touko-nee-sama?" Dorothy questioned.
"Yes! We're her friends." Reona said.
"It's her birthday, and she's celebrating it here." Kanade added. "Even her strict grandmother allowed her, as well." She continued.
"It was initially difficult to negotiate with her first, but they finally gave in." Shuu answered.
"But our plan is to not spoil the surprise for her." Reona said.
"Isn't that strange, though?" Shiori pointed out. "Touko-nee-chan knows it all, as well! Even us." She added.
"We already know it from Touko-nee-sama." Teru remarked.
"Actually, our mom and dad knows it, as well!" Hikari beamed.
"What?!" Dorothy exclaimed.
"You mean the surprise was spoiled already, after all the trouble that we went through to plan it out?! Who played sus on us and tampered our plans ALREADY? I demand answers!" Reona added further in disappointment, whom he was only greeted with smiles, much to his annoyance.
"It was Touko who already acknowledged it, before the rest of you visited here." Satsuki said with a smile on her face, who seemingly has gotten interest with Touko and the rest of the Unity Force.
"Everything will be fine, Reona and Dorothy." Souichirou reassured. "Now, why not spend your time with the rest of us, before Haruka and Touko come?" He added.
"Why, Dorothy..." Dorothy questioned herself.
A few hours have passed, at least one hour and thirty-five minutes later, at around 5:20 P.M., thanks to Reona and Dorothy's rather reluctant help, we later see Chito, Yuuri, Sayo, Hina, and reluctantly Yukina locating the said interim residence of the Sakurada Royal Family from around the subdivision. But a little too late for them, however, is that they see a limousine with what appeared to be men wearing suits, suggesting that the Special Police of this kingdom have arrived, possibly bringing Touko and Haruka.
"Are we too late?" Chito questioned.
"Haruka-kun and Touko-san have already arrived?!" Yuuri questioned.
"That's impossible." Sayo said.
"You mean the surprise got spoiled already, Onee-chan?!" Hina questioned annoyingly.
"Not only that, but the rest of Morfonica already came in here, as well!" Sayo deduced, as she looks at the text message from Rui, fifteen minutes ago.
"Are you serious?" Yukina questioned. "We came here for nothing?!" She asked.
[PLAY MUSIC: Morfonica - flame of hope]
"They're performing?" Sayo asked.
"Last time I checked, Touko-san did not even bring her own guitar." Yuuri pointed out. "But now, how did she have it in the first place, anyhow?" She continued her inquirty.
"Only one way to find out." Chito said, before the rest of her group later approach the gates of the interim Sakurada Residence, before they see two Special Police guards standing in front of them. "We're here to visit the rest of our Unity Force friends inside the Sakurada Residence, as well as Touko-san." She talks to one of the Special Police members about their true origin as UF members, before they are allowed to enter inside.
From there, the rest of Chito's group enter inside the house, only for the quartet sans Yukina to find out that their attempted ways to surprise Touko were already spoiled.
Their appearance suddenly interrupted Morfonica's performance, with Touko being excited the most.
"NOOOOOOOOO!" Yuuri said.
"Are those your friends, Touko?" Haruka asked.
"Ain't that right!" Touko answered. "Oh, Sayo-san, Yukina-san, Chito-san, and Yuuri-san! How you all?" She asked.
"What happened to the surprise we were planning for you?" Chito asked.
"Oh, I spoiled it already. In fact, the rest of us in Haruka-san's house know about my birthday already." Touko casually answered.
"EH?!" Chito said.
"EXCUSE ME! What the fuck was the point of us planning an elaborate surprise, then?!" Yuuri cursed.
"Listen, Kirigaya-san. We skipped a day's class to make this one goddamn special day a surprise for you, only for you to actually spoil it, after all this time?" Sayo looked at the rest in dismay. "Not to mention, Hina also came with me to skip the Student Council Meeting in Haneoka, just to help you out!" She added.
That statement alone only caused Touko, Nanami, Tsukushi, and even Mashiro, laugh, as well as Suguha, Kirito, and Asuna and some of the Sakurada Family. Rui, on the other hand, cannot believe it, as she slowly chuckles over Chito's group.
"And even your date, as well!" Hina exclaimed.
"Seriously? You don't have to say that in front of us!" Haruka blushed.
"Now now, since the rest of you have just arrived here, why not help yourselves out for today?" Satsuki offered, before the rest of Chito's group reluctantly eat at the dinner table. Not wanting to know what the hell just went wrong, they later decide to gingerly dine themselves. That is, until they heard a doorbell, which interrupted the party.
*DING DONG*
"Sayo... Hina..." A rather ominous voice can be heard from outside, causing Sayo and Hina to gulp altogether.
The sound of doorbells can be heard from outside, before the door opens, revealing a person that is extremely familiar to the Hikawa Twins. She is surrounded by a rather ominous aura that can be felt from around the entire room. Her eyes glinted red threateningly, whom she is inferred to be extremely disappointed over Sayo and Hina.
From there, it revealed a woman with a wavy, light teal hair that is waist-length. She wears what seems to be an outfit that consists of a white blouse, blue jeans, and sandals. She also has a pearl necklace around her neck. This is Minako Hikawa, the 42-year-old widowed mother of the Hikawa Twins, who was once a legendary guitarist of an unnamed band in the past.
"Uh... Sayo. Hina. You might wanna turn around." Yukina offered, before Sayo and Hina does so, as they see their mother's extremely threatening face, which scares the rest of them.
"...!" Sayo and Hina looked at their mother in utter fear.
"H-hello there, mom...!" Hina nervously greeted.
"Nice to meet you here in Sakurada Kingdom!" Sayo added.
"What. Is. The. Meaning. Of. This. Sayo. And. Hina?" Minako said in a cold manner, as she crosses her arms, before she shows Sayo and Hina an e-mail from the principals of Hanasakigawa and Haneoka, respectively, in regards to them missing their respective Student Council Meetings, as well as messages regarding their dishonesty.
"We were just helping Touko-chan out, right...?" Hina nervously answered.
Minako only looks at them with her extremely frightening eyes, which bores into her daughters.
"She's too damn scary for a mother!" Yuuri thought.
"Oh boy, it looks like they made an oopsie for reals." Chito thought.
"I mean it's her birthday today!" Sayo exclaimed.
"That doesn't excuse the two of you to skip school... FOR THIS!" Minako's voice boomed threateningly, before she proceeds to smacks them hardly with her fists so hard that it caused a large lump to form over their heads.
To add insult to injury, their screams of pain can be heard from around the area.
After that event, the rest of the Unity Force and the Sakurada Family only look at Sayo and Hina getting dragged by their mother out of the Sakurada Residence in pure shock, in the midst of Touko's birthday.
"You two will be having a long, long chat with me about this imprudent behaviour, once we come home." Minako said, before she leaves the house, before she proceeds to leave the Sakurada Kingdom from her own car.
"What the hell just happened...?" Chito questioned.
"I guess they made their mother angry, this time." Yukina bitterly remarked.

On the next chapter of UF Stories: It's time for a Christmas-themed chapter! That is right, the Unity Force later visit the magnificent Niagara Falls in New York, USA to spend their Christmas. But for the all-girl bands Roselia and RAISE A SUILEN, the respective Grand Prize and Best Performance victors of the Girls Band Challenge in Budokan, today's a big day for them: a joint concert in the Falls.
