CHAPTER 18: The Mystical Worlds

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Sorry if I have to abruptly cancel the Familiar of Zero mission fic, but this is largely due to the issues that ran within that project, as well as rather personal reasons that I cannot disclose. As a result, this chapter will be re-written, which only omits references regarding to Familiar of Zero. It will not affect the rest of the series. Don't worry about it, since the series is still ongoing.

[Unity Force Dormitories, U.F. Earth]

With holidays now coming to a joyous end, one week after the extremely successful joint concert between Roselia and RAISE A SUILEN in Niagara Falls, New York in United States within Normal Earth, the scene then cuts at dawn to Chito and Yuuri's room with Chito, Yuuri, Sorawo Kamikoshi, Toriko Nishina, and Kozakura Izumo waking up inside, as they begin preparing themselves after the previous year ended, with Chito and Yuuri wearing their usual military outfit.

But as the rest of her group prepare themselves to leave the dormitories, they are suddenly greeted by an automated voice coming from the speakers within the monitor inside their own room. Chito then decides to turn it on, before the rest of them proceed to watch at the message that was left.

"Priority message for Ms. Chito, Ms. Yuuri, Mr. Roronoa, and Ms. Tendo." The robotic voice uttered. "Please head immediately to the Grand Headmaster's Office in 216th Floor of the Resolution Tower for a mission briefing with Mr. Max Tennyson." The voice added.

"What's going on at such an early morning?" Kozakura asked Chito.

"Looks like Yuu and I are called in for a mission, but to where?" Chito said.

"Only one way to find out." Yuuri said.

"It must be something urgent, hence the nature of that message." Toriko deduced.

"So, mission calls for both of you?" Sorawo asked.

"Seems like it." Yuuri answered.

"I guess, best of luck?" Toriko said. "We'll be going on our own, as well." She added.

"Well, time for today's mission!" Yuuri said.

"I guess that's for the best." Chito said, as she takes her teleporter out, before the two survivors are being teleported into the Grand Headmaster's Office within Resolution Tower.

As expect, they did not expect that a mission would be already this impending, post-holiday. But they have no idea what they will be thinking about this, given the impromptu nature of such a request.

In Zoro and Maya's room in another part of the dormitories, we see the two preparing themselves for whatever mission calls on them.

"Huh..." Zoro said. "We're also getting called for a mission, as well." He added.

"Whatever the case may be, we'd hope that this is not a mission that will involve something that is not about causing instant annihilation." Maya said, as she takes out her utility belt that contains her whetstones.

Maya and Zoro later leave the academy, as they head to the Resolution Tower.

[Grand Headmaster's Office, U.F. Earth]

Minutes later...

Inside of the office, as Chito and Yuuri head in there, where they see some Unity Force students inside waiting including Zoro Roronoa, Maya Tendo, Asta, Eren Yeager, a female, and a hamster looking at Max Tennyson, Tsunade Senjuu, and Vash the Stampede.

The female is a 15-year-old girl with a slender build and pink eyes. She possesses long, silver-coloured hair that is styled in pigtails with purple ribbons, with her centre bangs over her forehead. She wears a silver bracelet on her left wrist. She wears a sleeveless, backless, short purple dress covered by a silver-coloured blazer. The blazer has a backless design with sleeves attached at the back that extend slightly beyond her elbows with gold-coloured cuffs. The blazer also has a pair of pins attached to it around her collarbone area. Additionally, it has frilly edges and a rounded tailcoat that extends down to her knees. Furthermore, the blazer extends up to her neck where it has frilly edges and is held together by a gold locket. She wears a brown leather belt that supports her pouch, which has a similar colour and gold ornaments at its corners. The pouch hands on her right side, and contains her grimoire. She also wears a pair of silver-coloured leg warmers with a gold-coloured cuff at both ends and a pair of sandals. She also wears a black robe which has a turquoise cord that wraps around her neck. This is Noelle Silva, Asta's friend and a member of the Black Bull squad.

The hamster is a small and adorable orange and white hamster with whiskers, pink paws, a tiny, pink tail, a little, pink-coloured, button nose, and beady, black eyes. There is a distinctive orange patch of fur located near his bottom. This is Hamtaro.

"It looks like the team is assembled." Chito said.

"But that's just about it." Max said rather imperiously, before looking to Maya and Zoro.

"What are you talking about?" Maya questioned.

"It's about Aloy-san and Erend-san." Asta said.

"Aloy and Erend?" Zoro suddenly questioned.

"They disappeared at around 3:40 A.M., whom I can tell that they're heading to their own world." Vash said, as he is eating a doughnut hungrily.

"Whoa... That's pretty early." Yuuri added.

"But why, though?" Maya asked.

"I did remember from Aloy-san, whom she told us about this 'cult' that attacked in the Proving, along with their army of some machines at a place known as Mother's Watch." Chito remarked. "That can mean only one thing..." She pondered.

"Something is definitely wrong in her home world." Noelle said.

"This 'cult' is purely bad news." Asta remarked.

"And we must find the two of them and stop whatever this ensuing threat, before it becomes too late." Zoro said.

"Now that you think of it, we can finally tell what Aloy-san's world look like." Maya added. "And what secrets she is hiding."

"Excellent. Now Mr. Roronoa and Ms. Tendo, assemble your team for this mission, find Aloy and Erend, and whatever possible, help them out and stop this 'cult'." Max said. "Their world must be in some unknown danger from these 'cultists', so your presence is urgently needed." He spoke nonchalantly in an encouraging manner.

"We got this." Zoro said. "We will promise to help Aloy-san and Erend-san as soon as possible." He replied.

"I'll be joining with them!" Asta added, who only boomed.

"I know that you're excited, but please be on your best behaviour." Noelle chastised.

"Awww, you're no fun!" Asta remarked.

Zoro, Maya, Asta, and Noelle later leave the office, leaving only Chito, Yuuri, and Hamtaro inside of the office.

"What about us, Tennyson-sama?" Chito asked.

"As for the both of you, another mission has just come up." Tsunade said. "I know that both of you are resting after the holidays, but there is a matter to be dealt with, as well." She reminded, before looking at Chito. "Don't be surprised about this, because of the experience you dealt with in your home universe." She remembered.

"I know what that was, Tsunade-sama." Chito said. "So, go ahead with our mission." She continued.

Max then begins briefing the mission for Chito and Yuuri about the existence of young magical girls known as Pretty Cures, before he shows what appears to be a hologram, which shows what looked like another Earth that is definitely like the Normal Earth itself.

"What is this world's name?" Yuuri asked.

"Kind of looks similar to Normal Earth." Hamtaro said.

"Except it is not." Max said. "This Earth is known as the Pretty Cure world." He added. "While it is like Normal Earth, the existence of Pretty Cures is what separates it from Normal Earth." He claimed.

"Pretty Cures?" Yuuri questioned. "What is that?" She asked further.

"Group of girls who transform into legendary warriors and are destined to protect their world from the forces of darkness, whom they are also aided by creatures known as Mascots." Max explained. "As for the core of the mission, a rather mysterious and ominous threat has been spotted in this world, and this must be stopped, before it can cause damage beyond our understanding." He ordered.

"That sounds like Madoka-san and Homura-san to me." Yuuri added.

"For this mission, both of you should assemble a team and find these Pretty Cures in this world." Max added. "Don't hesitate to lend a helping hand with them, as well." He added.

"We'll handle on that matter, Tennyson-sama!" Yuuri exclaimed.

"Don't worry." Chito said. "We will try our best to lend them our hand." She added.

"Excellent." Max replied.

"Whatever this threat is, we'll try our best to stop them." Hamtaro said.

"Now that everything is settled, I'm sure that the three of you know where to go." Max said.

"Leave it to us!" Yuuri replied. "We'll assemble our team in no time." She ended.

"Don't get too excited." Chito said.

"This mission is fun, okay?" Yuuri said. "I can't help it!" She added.

"We know." Hamtaro said.
