So far everything has been fine. She's getting to talk to him more often but they are still working on getting to see each other. That's on the both of them. It seems as if everything in the universe is trying to keep them from getting together and it sucks because she really wants to be with him again and he really wants to be with her. So badly. She wants to feel his hands on her body, wants to feel him more than anything. She cringes to herself as she realizes how needy she feels. At this point she doesn't even care.
They literally have only slept together twice, both times in the same twenty four hour time frame which was what? A month ago? More? So she's allowed to feel needy. She's allowed to want him after twenty three years. Twenty three long years that turned out to be worth the wait.
The wait followed by the tense release from the bodies like explosives on that night. It was definitely by far the best sex she had ever had. It doesn't surprise her with the emotional intimacy they share of course the physical part would be mind blowing and it was.
He treated her like the finest art work the world has ever seen. He took his time with her. Showed her how much he loved, loves her. Reminded her that's her body was not a crime scene and it never should've been treated that way. Her body still vaguely feels his movements and the remembrance draws back to her. His lips on hers that she's always wanted to feel.
The way the movement of their lips started gently then grew relentless and messy like as their bodies connected together which was by far the most intense sexual experience she has ever had. Intense in terms of emotions and the three orgasms he gave her plus the other two when they showered together.
She really wants to see him right now so he can give her another one. She is once again distracted away from the papers in the front of her. Gazing at them blankly as she flashes back to the way kissed and dragged his tongue along the sensitive skin of her inner thigh. He left behind small marks what was fine because no one would see them but her, and it was the most sweetest reminder.
She remembers the skin on his face feeling smooth against her thighs evident that he most likely recently shaved. Secretly, she wouldn't admit it at least then she wouldn't have admitted it but now, she wouldn't have minded feeling his bearded face between her legs feeling the hairs of his face scratch across them. The only underlying problem probably would've have been getting beard burn and rash but with the skills he has shown her it mostly likely would have been worth it. She clenches her legs together to provide some release for the throbbing she is now feeling between her legs. Yep, they have definitely been separated for way too long.
It sucks to recently have the best sex of your life to then wait weeks before you can have it again, especially when you know what you're missing.
She blinks a few times before drawing her attention to her son who has been calling her from the coffee table.
"Mom, can you help me with this please?" He asks her tapping his pencil lazily against the text book. "I don't understand this."
She pushes the sheets of paper aside on the counter top along with the tea she's drinking to assist him. As she stands, she feels the little slickness on her inner thigh. Maybe little isn't the word if it's enough to get down onto her legs, something that hasn't happened in a long time. She has gotten older and things have changed some slowed down and just stopped completely. A lot changed sexually. She didn't feel as sexual but the reality hit her hard when she wasn't producing enough lubricant naturally and had to buy some. Somehow Elliot changed that. There first time together she felt so turned on there wasn't the need for lube. She believes it's probably because they took their time and it was slow but she'll remember to use some next time to prevent discomfort.
She continues over to Noah and grimaces slight when she bends to sit next to him on the floor. Just another sign that she is getting older. Such is life. She just now wondering how is the process of getting up is going to be like.
"You okay?" He asks her concerned by the muffled groan she had let out.
She nobs her head before prying her eyes at whatever he needs assistance with.
It only takes a few minutes of re-reading and he's back to doing his homework. She doesn't rush to getting up off the floor so she sits next to him and checks her phone for any emails McGrath has ensured her he was going to send. She rolls her eyes, complaining is something she tries not to do often but she really wants a new chief. He simply is, in slang she has heard Noah use 'not giving'. She first heard him say that when she was asking his opinion on a dress. She didn't know what it meant but she definitely had a clue that it meant he didn't really like it.
"Where'd you get your new necklace?" Noah says with book open in front her her ready for her to go over it with him. She didn't even realize when he slid the book over or that her fingers were twirl her necklace around as she went through her phone. Noah is very observant and she knows that, so sooner or later he was going to notice and ask.
"Elliot gave it to me as a Christmas present."
"It's pretty, why does it say?"
"Thank you, it's says always faithful."
"What language is it?"
When he got old enough she decided to teach him at least two of the languages she knows. So far they're still in the process of learning Spanish and he is doing really within the next year he'll be fluent in it.
"It's Italian, remember when I told you some words in Spanish and Italian kinda look the same and some times sound close."
"Yep"
She thinks he's done questioning her, she hopes he's done. She place her cell phone down then leans over to look over Noah's homework.
He is quite until he hits her with "Is Elliot your boyfriend?"
Olivia still doesn't understand why his questions surprise her. They do catch her off guard but she should be use to Noah and his questions. They're straight forward and to the point. She peers at him over her glasses before looking away. She shakes her head a bit baffled, her mouth moves to say something but nothing comes out at first.
"Uhh no, we're just friends." She says trying to keep it as plain as possible not wanting to give themselves away with a reaction she can't control.
"So if he's just your friend can I call him uncle like I do to uncle Sonny because I like Elliot."
Her stunned look she definitely wasn't going to be able to hide. He can't, in no way call Elliot uncle. They're together and when things get really serious between them she'll want Noah to look up to him as more of a father. She wants to tell him that he can't but she has already told him that Elliot isn't her boyfriend. So she tries to think of an excuse or simply another way of expressing their relationship without the term 'boyfriend'. She doesn't like the use of the term boyfriend anyway, it's just not for her. Nor doesn't she want to spill their relationship then somehow he lets it slip in the front of company.
"No sweetie, Umm Elliot is a different kind of friend."
She can read the confusion off what she just said on the young boy's facial expression alone.
"A different kind of friend? That doesn't make sense."
She exhales and takes a second to gather her thoughts. She really hopes she can explain this in a way without giving themselves up.
"He's not my boyfriend but we are really close again and we do like each other."
She's about to continue but he cuts her off we he asks "Does he love you?"
Hearing those words and remembering the first time Elliot said it to her still sends chills across her skin.
He's looking her directly in her eyes because he truly wants to know and when did they start having these kind of conversations. He really is growing too fast for her liking.
"Yes he does, he has told me."
Her voice grew soft because she's getting emotional again.
"Do you love him?"
She gives him a small smile before she answers.
"Yes, I do."
"Well I think you guys might have more than a friendship."
Little does he know.
She laughs at the way he air quotes the word 'friendship'. "Aren't you nosey."
"I'm not" He says exhibiting offense. "You make me talk about things that happen at school and my friends."
"I'm your mom, that's my job and as boss I authorize bedtime, I'll check this in the morning." She says referring to his work.
His hand grasp hers when she reaches out for assistance in getting up. She walks him to his bedroom placing a kiss on his cheek what he now all of a sudden doesn't let her do in public, they share "I love you's" before she disappears in hers.
It's past ten, that's what makes her realize how long she and Noah had been talking. There is time to spear besides she isn't tired. She pulls her covers to stop along her stomach then goes to her phone in search of the name of the only person she wants to see right now.
She calls him, the phone rings twice barely on the second time before he answers.
"Hey" her tone low and soft.
"Hey Liv, everything okay?"
"Something has to be wrong for me to call you?" She frowns her eyebrows even though he can't see that.
"No but that doesn't stop me from asking."
"Everything is fine. I actually just poorly explained to Noah that you're not my boyfriend." She snickers.
She laughs more when she hears the exaggerated gasp from his end of the phone. "Shut up."
"So I'm not your boyfriend?" Clearly she can hear the amusement in his voice.
"El don't you think we're too old to be calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend." She cringes saying it out loud.
He doesn't take it personally. During their partnership he doesn't think he has ever heard her refer to her significant others as 'my boyfriend'.
"Doesn't matter I'm all yours and you're all mine. I love you."
Those words again he tells her and she knows he really means it and now she's able to say it back. Out loud. If only he were able to she the huge smile on her on her face. "I love you too."
They literally stay on the phone for a solid give minutes in complete silence. Just knowing that each other is there is enough for the both of them.
She starts "You haven't rushed me off the phone or hung up on me yet so I'm guessing you're not to work."
There isn't a need for an answer when she thinks she hears him plop down on his bed. She's startled by the sudden sound of her ringtone. She turns the volume down some because it's way to loud.
She accepts his FaceTime request and is met with his eyes looking at her. She sits up because she doesn't like the angle of holding her phone while she lays down.
"Sorry about that again. But yeah I'm home Bell gave me a few days off, said I need to calm my 'compulsive' behavior."
"Good she's right maybe you'll take the time to take care of yourself and maybe me."
Elliot smiles at the way she slips herself in so smoothly. He's always more than happy to take care of her and give her whatever she wants and needs. Counting all the years, days and hours he has spent not being there he's going to make up for it.
"So that's the reason you called me." He says jokingly.
"Yes" she also jokes and laughs when his eyes widen in shock, not expecting that reply. "But I really wanted to check on you."
"Hmm well I can take care of you sooner than later if you want." Even through a camera the looks he gives her makes her weak. There's that smug smile on his face as he looks at her as her cheeks become flushed.
"I'd love nothing more but Noah is here."
She gives him a faint smile.
"I don't have to be there I can help you just like this, over the phone."
This time she's shock hearing what he just said. It makes her throb and she doesn't think she can do that.
"If you are insinuating phone sex I'm sorry to burst your bubble but no thanks."
It's not that she doesn't want to do it, she doesn't think she can. She's older and again things have slowed down and changed a whole lot. It takes longer for her to get there and by herself it's going to take even longer. She's sure his voice will help there is no doubt about it, it's just not what she wants right now. What she wants is him and being able to feel him. She'll settle on waiting until they can see each other. "Maybe some other time." She adds.
He smiles before he says "hmm, how about I take care of the both of us to dinner on Friday at my place and if you can we spend the weekend together."
"Sounds perfect."
"Good, goodnight Liv. I love you."
"I love you too, El"
Thank you all for being patient with me. I will try to update more often.
