7Seven Secret Space Guppies

Hello there and welcome back to my newest story. The group is back together, they are going to space, let's hope they'll make it! Enjoy!

From now on, you should start using your fantasy to visualize all the places, spaceships etc... You could search on the internet for a picture, I don't know... Enjoy!

Chapter 2: Time for space

The Guppies only had a short night of sleep. They all woke up around 7 am so that they had enough time to prepare everything.

"How is this day gonna go, Molly?" Deema asked while making her bed.

"We shall go to the cafeteria to take breakfast first. After that, we'll gather our equipment and personal belongings. Then it's time to leave for space." Molly explained. The rest nodded and exited the quarters for the last time. They did what Molly explained, taking a breakfast and gathering their stuff.

"Hmm, has anybody seen my handbag?" Deema asked.

"Why would you take a handbag with you here?" Goby demanded.

"It's my, lucky charm. It's red, help me seek it." Deema ordered. Goby remained silent.

"I hope our quarters up there will be nice!" Oona commented.

"I hope we'll have a window with a view on space." Gil said. Everyone imagined it.

"Yeah, A bit of sunlight wouldn't be bad. I was getting claustrophobic in this metal box!" Deema said. The rest laughed.

"I'm wondering how it will, be, there. Are we gonna float around? How about the radiation and gravity? Will we have an extra training? Probably. I..."

"You ask yourself too many questions Nonny, it's gonna be fine. Don't worry!" Gil said, interrupting his friend.

"I know, but... We'll see yeah." Nonny said. Everyone was ready and took their boxes with them to the hangar.

It was 8:50. The Guppies entered the hangar and saw the spaceship that would bring them to the Hannibal.

"Good morning, you all!" A voice said. The group turned around and saw sergeant Flynn.

"Wait, he's coming with us?" Gil whispered.

"I can hear that, Sonic! And yes! I'm going to accompany you for, some nostalgic business. I'll give you a training on how to battle in space, it's probably gonna be harsher than your first training haha! What do I see? You guys are 10 minutes too early? You know what that means! 100 PUSH-UPS RIGHT NOW!" Flynn screamed.

"He didn't change!" Gil said to Molly.

After they had completed the task, commander Valen and Mccrab arrived too.

"Greetings ETS. You are all ready, good. I think we can begin our journey." Valen said. The entry hatch of the spaceship opened and everyone entered it. From the inside it looked like a normal plane, with the seats, but everything was WPP coloured and more high-tech.

"Excuse me commander? Who will pilot this thing?" Nonny asked. He swore to regain the territory he lost after that bad first impression.

"Hehe, why don't you come and look for yourself?" Valen said. He pointed at the door leading to the cockpit. Valen and Nonny sat down next to each other.

"You see, I used to be a WPP pilot. But I got promoted several times and had other objectives." Valen explained pressing on different buttons and pulling different levers.

"In the past then, but there were no spaceships then..." Nonny commented.

"Good reflexion. The spaceship cockpit designs are very similar to the transport planes. What's the, button to activate, the boosters again?" Valen said.

"And so, it's been a long time since, you piloted?"

"Yep, but it comes back quickly." He said powering the ship. He took a radio attached to the roof and pulled it down. "Attention everyone, we'll take off in a couple of seconds!" He added.

"Where is Nonny?" Molly asked.

"I saw him go to the cockpit with the commander." Mccrab answered with.

"Probably repairing his faults from yesterday. Smart boy." Molly thought.

"Isn't it safer to let an, actual in service pilot bring us to space?" Nonny asked.

"You worry too much, Nonny. Try to relax, it's gonna be fine."

"How long haven't you piloted?"

"It's been 2 years, taking off!" Nonny opened his eyes wide and started worrying. Everyone was pressed into their seats when the ship exited the atmosphere.

"Am I in heaven already?" Nonny asked.

"You're funny Nonny. Look, we exited the atmosphere. Admire this view, ladies and gentlemen." He said through the radio. Everyone was blown away by the view. Earth, the Moon, the Sun.

"I must admit, this is pretty beautiful." Nonny said. Valen looked happy.

"In 30 minutes we'll have arrived at the Hannibal." Valen said. A little moment of silence started. Nonny was thinking.

"Sorry, for my behaviour yesterday, commander." Nonny said, staring in front of him.

"It's nothing. I understand your emotions. It's not fun to be dismissed."

"Did you, vote against our stay?" Another moment of silence began.

"That's a high-command secret, we aren't allowed to express such things... But I can tell you that I was really impressed by what you all did on Earth. And you know, something else I could tell and you just interpret it like you want. The high-command mostly consists of 'grumpy old lobsters' who never really showed a lot of sympathy towards your activity inside the WPP, sadly."

"I understand what you mean. We won't disappoint you, commander." Nonny said, forgiving him. He felt empathy.

"Please, skip the formal bullshit. Call me Valen." Valen said. Nonny smiled a little.

A bit later, the spaceship was approaching a gigantic circular space station. The HQ.

"Hello Hannibal? Delta-6 approaching." Valen said to the radio.

"Well received, opening hangar 1 for landing." The radio said.

"Affirmative, landing soon. Valen out." The spaceship approached the circle. On one side, a part of it, used as a gate, opened for landing. Valen manoeuvred the ship into the hangar, landing it successfully.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have landed." Valen said through the radio. Everyone started clapping and cheering. The exit hatch went down and all the passengers entered the hangar. Molly went to Nonny.

"I see you took my advice into account." Molly said.

"Yep. It's important to get or give advice." Nonny said. Molly nodded and smiled.

"This place looks... fabulous!" Goby said, looking around him.

"W we don't fly around? That's not logic." Nonny said being perplexed.

"WPP technology. We created a gravity-making machine." Valen explained. Nonny was confused. The group walked towards the exit door, into the main circle of the station. They took their belongings with them too. A crab with a light blue WPP suit and glasses was waiting for them.

"Greetings commander. How was the trip?" The crab asked.

"It went well. Let me introduce to you the ETS. They are going to help us defeat the OD." Valen said.

"I am admiral Laurent, second in charge of the Hannibal. I'm glad we will work together, I remembered all your successes on Earth. Let me visit you around the HQ." Laurent said, and he left the hallway. The group, including Mccrab and Flynn, followed.

"So here we are in the main area or the 'circle' as some call it. The majority of our departments are located in it. Hangars as you just saw, cafeteria, quarters, armoury, infirmary, training rooms etc." Laurent explained.

"I'm even more excited about the quarters now!" Deema said. Laurent pointed at the roof, it was in solid glass.

"In the middle of the Hannibal, we have this area connected to 4 transport hallways leading to it. It's the most important part of the ship. You have the briefing room and the command room. I'd say that was a very simplistic description of what you will encounter, but believe me, this place is far more complex and detailed." Laurent said.

"Mister Richardson demanded a briefing for when we arrived safely." Mccrab said. Everyone understood and headed for the nearest transport hallway. Arrived at its end, the group stood on a round elevator platform, which brought them up to the briefing room. They eventually entered a hallway, connected to the briefing room.

The briefing room had the usual table in the middle with the chairs all around it and a hologram projector. There was also a big screen behind it, for communication with Earth. The walls were out of glass, offering a magnificent view.

"This HQ is 100% better than the other one!" Gil said.

"It feels more open with the glass walls." Oona added. Everyone took a seat around the table and Valen activated the screen. It was struggling to connect, but shortly after, Samur's face was visible.

"Greetings everyone! How is it up there? I see you arrived safely." He said.

"Affirmative Mister Richardson. Everything went well. If you don't mind it, I will start explaining the next step." Valen responded.

"Go on, we are listening, commander." Samur said. Valen turned around, looking at the rest.

"Dear ETS. History won't repeat itself with your presence here. Our task is to prevent the OD from further development in space, with the risk that they re-conquer Earth. Tomorrow, you 7 will begin with a training adapted to the environment, hosted by sergeant Flynn. Today, you are free to do whatever you desire, after being introduced to your quarters naturally. I have nothing more to say for this first briefing, you can leave for your quarters now. Laurent will show you the way." Valen said. The Guppies stood up. Mccrab and Flynn stayed.

5 minutes later, after walking to the south-eastern part of the HQ, the group arrived in the quarters part.

"This room got prepared for you. If you ever need something, you can always ask me." Laurent said.

"Thank you, admiral." Molly said. Laurent smiled and left.

"Hey Molly, are you coming? This is massive!" Deema said, standing in the door frame. Molly joined her teammates in their room. It was rectangular, and the beds were in the walls. The longer wall was out of glass, showing space. There was a high-tech table with chairs to sit on and admire the view. On the left of the room was their bathroom.

"Here we are... Can you imagine?" Molly said. They were all hypnotized by the beauty of space.

"It's beautiful!" Zooli added.

"We are the last hope, for this world..." Nonny said. Everyone looked at him raising an eyebrow.

"Aren't you... exagerating a bit?" Gil asked.

"If we fail to stop the OD, they will take over the Earth." Nonny answered with. Gil raised his finger, but he lowered it straight after.

"They won't Nonny, I promise!" Molly said.

"We all promise it!" The rest said. Nonny smiled a bit. Gil took a handbag.

"Hey! Gil you found my handbag. Or did you steal it?" Deema said pointing at it.

"Answer Gilly." Molly insisted. Everyone looked at him silently. Gil sighed and opened it.

"Waf waf!" Milou said.

"You brought him with you?" Everyone said.

"I'm sure he'll be fine here, close to me..." Gil said carressing his pet.

"Sigh, okay Gilly, but you take care of it?" Molly said. Gil nooded.

"I propose we start exploring this giant circle in depth. This new environment looks dope..." Molly said.

"Yes! I wanna see what the med bay looks like here!" Oona said.

"I gotta find out of there's a robotics department here." Zooli said.

"Let's see if I can pilot a space ship!" Gil said.

"This gravity machine intrigues me... I must find it." Nonny said to himself.

"I wanna go outside and fly! Goby, you come with me." Deema said.

"Uhh well, I don't think we can just leave this place. And uhh, I wanna see..."

"Shut! We will search for it first, come on!" Deema said and she left with Goby. The rest laughed a bit.

"It look likes everyone goes in different directions. I'll call you via radio when it's time for dinner, time flies around here!" Molly said. The remaining Guppies exited the room too. Molly sat on a bed and decided to take a little nap. Milou installed himself next to her. She smiled.

And another chapter done, I hope you enjoyed it! The Guppies have arrived safely in space and they feel comfortable... for now. Stay tuned and stay healthy!
