"Oh, seems like sleeping beauty is finally awake, huh?" was the first thing Minato heard after waking up from his slumber. Looking at his side, he found a familiar red head who was currently giving him a smirk. "So, has Igor gave you the rundown on things?"
"Wait, you know about Igor?" The bluenette asked, confused on why Minako would know about him.
Before waking up, he visited the velvet room again after summoning his persona on that fateful night at the dorm's rooftop. Igor explained to him all about his power, personas and social links. At first he was a bit skeptical on the topics the long nosed man discussed, but after connecting the dots with what happened on the roof, he couldn't deny that most of what Igor said explained his situation.
"Oh, don't worry my little friend, you aren't alone in this front," Minako said with a grin eating smirk on her face, showing Minato a familiar blue key that suddenly appeared from on her hand. "I'm also a persona user myself, and a wild card at that too."
"So, that's what I saw before I passed out," Minato surmised. "And that makes the others in the dorm also persona users and wild cards right?"
"Yes and No," Minako replied immediately, her expression hardened surprising Minato in the process. "Yes, all our dorm-mates are persona users, but they aren't wild card users. As far I am aware, we two are the only existing wild cards."
"So, they don't have the 'ability' or this so called 'power' of zero?"
"Yeah, and don't bother telling them about Igor and the velvet room," Minako explained, gaining a look from her blunette friend. "They can't see or access any doorways to the Velvet room, like Igor said, 'Only those who have signed the contract may enter here'."
"There are also so many things you're yet to be told, some of them will come from Igor, from Mitsuru-senpai, and especially from me." Minako stated, looking out the window, her expression suddenly becoming solemn. "There are so many secrets out there you'll eventually learn. Secrets that'll make you think, relieved, and apprehensive. But for now, you should just worry about resting your body."
"Is that so?" The bluenette contemplated what his 'twin' said.
"Anyways, that's all the time I've got," Minako said as she stood from her seat. "I'll call up the others and tell them that you woke up. Another thing, you were asleep for almost two weeks now, which means you'll have so much homework to get through!"
The Brunette didn't even answer Minato's indignant reply, laughing as she walked towards the door.
After Minako left, Yukari came and profusely apologized, saying this wouldn't have happened if she had enough courage to summon her persona. She was also amazed how easily the Arisato 'twins' summoned their Personas without prior experience.
Most people who had the potential were at first afraid of the concept of shooting themselves in the head using a strange gun-like apparatus, which included Yukari. But the 'twins' didn't even second guess their instincts when it told them to shoot themselves.
She also mentioned to him that Minako, Yukari and he were somehow in the same situation. While the Arisato 'twins' lost each of their parents in an accident, Yukari lost his dad in an explosion while working in a lab that was owned by the Kirijou Corp, which made her join the group in hopes of learning more about her father's death.
Yukari later then left Minato to rest up, seeing as he was in an almost two week coma.
After he was released from the hospital, Minato was asked to meet up with his dorm mates on the third floor of their dorm after school. Going up to the third floor, he saw a large double door. After opening it, he saw Minako, Yukari, Mitsuru, The Chairman and white haired guy, all sitting on the sofa and on the chairs near it.
Mitsuru then proceeded to explain all about their little group, introduced Akihiko, the white haired guy, and all about Personas and shadows.
Akihiko was another Persona user, he was with Mitsuru on the night when the dorm was attacked. They were too preoccupied fighting another shadow to aid them on the rooftop. Due to this, Akihiko was injured and suffered a broken rib which made him out of commission to join the fight for a month or until his ribs heal.
In regards to Personas and shadows, almost everything Mitsuru explained were the same as Igor's, but she didn't mention anything about wild cards and their unique power. Solidifying that they weren't wild cards like Minako said.
"What we're saying is we want you to join us," Mitsuru cut in, opening and presenting briefcase, which housed a familiar looking gun and what seems to be an armband with 'SEES' written on it. "We've already asked Minako to join, which she appreciatively accepted."
Minato looked at his 'twin' who was already sporting the red 'SEES' armband. She gave him a grin while twirling a same looking gun as was presented to him with her finger.
"Please, lend us your strength." Mitsuru said, intently staring at the bluenette.
"Wait just a second," Yukari exclaimed, worriedly looking at Minato. "Aren't we asking him a bit too fast? I mean, it would be great if he joined, but he just got out of the hospital. I think it's a bit too early to ask him to commit to a big responsibility."
"I think Minato's already made up his mind, right?" Minako reassured Yukari that her worries weren't true. "My 'twin' is already a big boy, he can make big decisions all by himself already."
"I already told you, we aren't related," Minato sighed, he was getting a bit tired of this twin joke of Minako, but he also felt that this made them close, like they were truly twins. Much like other twins that joked and teased one another. "But, my 'twin' is right. I accept, let me join your group."
"I thought you would have refused." Yukari sighed in relief.
"Nah, this twin of mine is just being a tsundere, is all." Minako retorted, locking her arms over the bluenette in a friendly choke hold.
"Personal space." The Bluenette simply said, removing the redhead's arms off him.
"Thank you for lending us your strength." Mitsuru said as she gave Minato the briefcase, which he took the armband from and wore it on his right arm.
"Now, I would like get your undivided attention." Ikutsuki said, getting the attention of all the people in the room. "Since the formation of this club, there's only 2 members, Akihiko and Mitsuru, but now that number just jumped to five. Which means, we can commence the exploration of Tartarus."
"Tartarus?" Minato questioned. "You mean like the Greek's prison for all the Titans?"
"Well, not exactly." Akihiko said. "We just call it Tartarus since it's the den where all the shadows come from."
"Why call it Tartarus, if it isn't really a pris- OUCH!" Minato retorted, but was cut off with Minako elbowing him. "What was that for?!"
"Don't be rude." The redhead answered back.
"Anyways, naming aside," The Chairman awkwardly tried to continue. "Tonight, will be our first venture in Tartarus, though I'll be staying here as I don't a persona."
A few minutes before midnight, S.E.E.S, arrived in front of their school.
"Huh, so this is Tartarus? I don't know whether to be surprised or not that it's our school." Minato stated earning a surprised look from both Akihiko and Mitsuru.
"H-Huh? What do you mean?" Mitsuru nervously asked, her face visibly scared by something Minato said.
"Well, the school is quite large and if I'm not mistaken it's the center piece of Tatsumi Port." Minato simply answered. "Also, it's quite cliché that the school will be the den of shadows."
"You do have a point there." Akihiko said nodding his head.
"It's almost 12, so be ready for a sight once the school transforms." Yukari said.
As the clock of the school struck twelve, the building moved, contorted and re-arranged itself showing its unsightly form during the dark hour. Minato could only look at it in amazement. He thought that the inside of the school would just be crawling with those shadow creatures. Instead it transformed itself into a tower like structure.
"Woah." Minato said, awestruck by the sight before him.
"Now let's head inside, no use standing around at the gate." Akihiko said, feeling excited at the thought of exploring Tartarus.
"As much as I appreciate your enthusiasm, Akihiko, you'll only follow us as far as the entrance." Mitsuru replied with a knowing smirk on her face.
"Yeah, you don't have to remind me." Akihiko dejectedly retorted.
