"Shhh!"

It's been a few months since Andy showed up on Robert's doorstep, telling him she didn't want to fight anymore, and that he was the safest place she had. Although they've been a couple for a while it's still hard for them to keep their hands off each other at home, and even harder to do it at work.

Andy walks into work after having an eventful night at Sullivan's house, she was in desperate need of coffee. She made her way up to the locker and thankfully no one was there. She didn't want anyone to see her wearing Robert's crew shirt, so she quickly grabbed her clothes and changed into her uniform, ensuring to fold his shirt and stick it in the back of her locker. She let out a loud yawn stretching her arms, not noticing the person who just walked in.

"Someones tired this morning," the person said causing Andy to jump and swiftly turn around. To her relief, it was just Robert so she rolled her eyes and laughed.

"You didn't let me do much sleeping last night," she said turning back around to her locker. He made his way behind her putting his hands on her waist, looking to make sure no one was around and began to place soft kisses on her neck.

"It's not my fault I can't seem to get enough of you." He said between kisses. Andy knew she should stop him, but instead, she found herself leaning her head giving him more access to her soft spot. When he realized he was granted access he went in for the kill on the spot that drove her crazy. Soon they heard Maya and Vic laughing and walking closer.

When they were close enough he said "Thank you for the update Lieutenant, have a good day." giving Andy a slight smile before walking away.

Andy tried her hardest to compose herself before her friends could see her.

"So what was that about?" Maya questioned walking up to her best friend

"Thank you for the update Lieutenant, have a good day," Vic said, mocking the fake conversation between their chief and friend.

"I was just giving him an update," Andy said rubbing the spot on her neck where Robert was just kissing

"Update on what?" Maya said raising her eyebrows

"My father. He just wanted to know how my father was doing seeing that his cancer is back and he isn't getting treatment for it." She said looking down

"Am I allowed to go get my coffee now?" Andy said laughing trying to lighten the mood.

Her friends laughed and parted so she would have a path to walk through.

They had just finished breakfast when they were called to a house fire. Throughout the entire call, Vic and Maya were trying to get more information out of Andy. But she wasn't letting them know anything.

When they arrived back at the station Andy took the time to give Sullivan his shirt back. While the rest of the team was cleaning the supplies, she decided to skip away and run to her locker to get the shirt. Did she want to give the shirt back? No, of course not it smelled like him and she loved his scent. His scent is what calmed her. But she wanted an excuse to go see him. She made her way to his office knocking on his door.

"Come in," He said. She could hear the stress in his voice and began considering whether she should come back later or not. She decided to just go in. She opened the door peeping her head in. He looked up and gave her a slight smile.

"Hey, baby what's up?" He said stacking all the papers that were spread across his desk, into a pile that looked a mile high.

"I can come back if this isn't a good time, you look busy," She said and began making her way to the door. Robert swiftly got up and grabbed her hand.

"No don't go, you're the only person keeping me sane right now." He said before pulling her into a kiss. Without breaking the kiss he closes the blinds and locks the door. Everyone knew that when the blinds were closed, it meant the Chief didn't want to be disturbed and everything else had to wait.

It wasn't long before Andy was laying under Robert on his couch, her body being trailed with kisses. It wasn't long until both their shirts were gone. Andy began to fiddle with Robert's belt when the alarm went off.

Aid car 19 response hiker rescue

Andy let out a loud sigh. "That's me," she said quickly getting up, grabbing her clothes and running to the aid car.

Robert quickly adjusted himself before making his way back to his office, reopening the blinds, fixing the couch cushions, and plopping down on his chair. "Andrea Herrera, you are something else," he said to himself, rubbing the back of his head laughing. He quickly got back to his paperwork. About an hour passed of him sitting in his office doing paperwork. Andy and Maya had come back from their call and shift had come to an end. He walked into the beanery to see Andy who was already in her civis (civilian clothes) at the sink washing dishes. He walked up next to her and whispered, "We never got to finish what we started earlier" smirking down at her. He began rinsing the dishes for her so it wouldn't look suspicious. Andy just looked at him smiling and said, "I'll see you later". She winked at him and walked away making sure to sway her hips, to tease him.

-The Next Day-

Robert was on his way to the beanery to get breakfast with the team when his phone went off with a text message. He took it out of his pocket and looked at it, he was taken aback when he saw the name of the person who sent the text.

It was a name he didn't want to see, especially now. He put the phone back and entered the beanery. "Good Morning 19" he greeted everyone that was there, making significant eye contact with Andy, which resulted in her choking on her water. He let out a little chuckle and went to get himself a plate.

Then the person called him. He was reluctant to pick up, not wanting to entertain this person more than need be. He put his plate down and let out a sigh that caught everyone's attention.

"Hello, this is Sullivan" he answered in a professional tone

"Oh Bobby cut the crap, I know you know who this is," the person said on the other side of the phone

"What do you want?" he said annoyed, this caused Andy to look up and make eye contact with Sullivan who was now leaning against the counter behind him.

"What are you doing right now, Bobby," the person asked not willing to give up despite Sullivan's clear annoyance and attitude

"I'm at work" and with that Robert hung up the phone. He was no longer hungry, so he just went for a water bottle instead and went down to the barn and sat to the back of one of the aid cars.

Travis had already gone back downstairs to reception by the time the phone call was over. While down there this tall beautiful woman came walking in and began looking around.

"Hello, Excuse me can I help you," Travis said from behind the desk.

"Oh, sorry I'm looking for Bobby, I mean Robert Sullivan, he works here right?" the woman said leaning against the desk

"Yes, he does. Can I get a name for our records?" Travis asked politely, trying not to question who this woman was to his chief

"Elizabeth Jones" She replied stretching her hand to shake Montgomery's

"Travis Montgomery" he replied while shaking her hand. "If you follow me I'll take you to the chief. I believe he is in here" he continued pointing towards the barn.

Travis escorted the woman into the barn. "Chief are you in here?" Travis questioned hoping he was so he didn't have to bring this lady upstairs

"I'm over here Montgomery" Sullivan replied

Travis followed the voice and to the back of the aid car. "There is someone here to see you," he said moving to the side so Elizabeth could come forward. Travis watched his boss's face go from delight to anger almost instantly. Travis quickly excused himself and ran up to the beanery to his friends.

"Guys you might want to see this, the chief is arguing with some woman. It's about to go down" he said. He sounded like a kid in middle school about to watch a fight.

Meanwhile with Sullivan and Elizabeth

"What are you doing here?" Sullivan said making sure his anger was being conveyed with every word

"I wanted to see you, Bobby, it's been so long" Elizabeth was now even closer than before and began caressing his arm

"Don't touch me," he replied, walking out from behind the aid car. "You can't just show up to my job unannounced. You can't show up to my job at all. I've moved on, you should too. We weren't right for each other, is that so difficult to understand?" he continued

"You don't remember the way I made you feel that night we met in the bar. Come on Bobby don't be like that" she said taking a step closer with every word. Before Sullivan could get a word out she kissed him causing him to stumble back and grab onto her for support.

With the team

After Travis came and relayed the message everyone was interested, especially Andy who wanted to know who the woman arguing with her boyfriend was. They all walked to the platform that overlooks the barn. They are all shocked to see their Battalion Chief kissing a woman in the barn of their firehouse.

Tears threatened to fall down Andy's face, but she knew she couldn't let them go because then the whole team would know. Two questions rang like a bell in her head, "Was he cheating on her this entire time. Was anything they had real or was it just sex to him?" Andy turned to Travis and bitterly said "I thought you said they were fighting" and walked off, causing the entire team to give each other confused looks. Just as Andy walked off the team watched as Sullivan pushed the woman away and began to argue with her, they couldn't hear much but he was angry.

That's when they saw Andy walk into the barn. "Chief" she yelled out, acting as though she was looking for him this entire time. "Oh, there you are, I was looking for you in your office but you weren't there. I just wanted to give this back to you" she said stretching her arm out with her hand closed.

"What is it?" he said genuinely confused as to what was going on.

"Oh are you sure you want me to say all this out loud while everyone is watching," she said pointing up to the team. That's when it hit him. They had seen everything. More importantly, Andy had seen everything.

"Andy can we talk in my office, please?" he said looking into her eyes pleading with her. But she wasn't having it. "No I'm okay you can take this back and this," she said handing him the necklace he bought her for her birthday with both their initials on it and the key he had given her to his apartment and walked off. This time the tears were falling, she couldn't hold them back anymore.

The entire team stood there in shock.

"Look what you did. Do you have not one ounce of self-respect? You might have just ruined the very best thing in my life right now, all because you had to show up. Are you kidding me" Sullivan yelled at Elizabeth

"Oh come on. She can't honestly be the best part of your life. A woman so insecure and childish. Come on Bobby, that's who you left me for?" Elizabeth retaliated. This only left Sullivan angrier than before.

"There are two differences between you and Andy. For starters, Andy has self-respect, that which you lack. Secondly, I love her. I've always loved her. I've never loved you." He said staring her in the eye. "Andy isn't childish, she is mature. She isn't insecure, she is one of the most confident women I've ever met. And I will not stand here and let you talk about her that way. So if you will excuse me, you can see yourself out" and he walked away.

Maya and Vic had already gone off looking for Andy. They checked Maya's office, and the closet and finally found her in her bunk. Without a word, they walked in and just hugged her. They ended up sitting on the floor hugging Andy, just letting her cry. It wasn't long before they heard a knock on the door and the door open.

"Andy it wasn't what it looked like" Robert started. Andy just kept looking down. "I didn't kiss her, she attacked me," he was now sitting on the floor in front of her holding her hand. "Ask anyone that was there and they will tell you that not only did I push her off of me, but I defended you when she tried to say bad things about you. Andy, I love you and only you. You have to believe that." Maya and Vic had taken that as a hint to give the two some privacy.

"So I'm going to give this back to you," he said handing the key to the apartment back to her, "And I'm putting this back on," he said holding up the necklace. It made her smile, she loved that necklace, not because it was pretty, but because of who gave it to her.

"I'm sorry, I should've let you explain and gone to the office with you. Instead, I made a scene and outed our entire relationship to the team" Andy said as he clasped the necklace around her neck.

"It's okay baby," he said helping her stand, "at least now I can kiss my girlfriend in public" When they were standing Andy wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. Robert deepened the kiss and somehow they ended up on the edge of the bed. Andy straddling Robert having and intense make-out session.

After some time they caught themselves before they could go any further. "You ready to get back to work? Not that I didn't enjoy that" Robert said referring to there previous activities. "Yes I'm ready" Andy replied giving him a quick peck. When she went to open the door she was pulled back into a more passionate kiss. It wasn't one of those 'let's have sex' kisses it was a kiss full of love.

They walked out of the bunk arms wrapped around each other's waist when Andy looked up at her man smiling and said, "You really defended my honor?"

"I did and will til the day I die"

And they walked off to continue their shift.
