Takes place during 3x11 "No Days Off" the scene where the ICE agent threatens to pull his gun on Andy. With a slight twist, Andy and Robert are already married. This is their first public outing with Pruitt as a family.

"Alright that's enough. You're not going to show me a burn, and there is no evidence of an injury and that makes this my jurisdiction. Remove your hand from my suspect lady now." The ICE agent said to Andy in front of her father and husband as he moved his jacket to display his shiny black gun. Andy's heart began to race. She never had a gun pulled on her before. Yeah, she was there when Ryan was shot but the gun wasn't pointed at her. Robert immediately stood up straight, moving from where he was leaning to standing in front of Andy, with her father a few steps behind him.

"Wow okay, Officer" Robert began, cutting Pruitt off from saying anything. "You really don't want to do that" he said putting emphasis on 'really'.

The officer ignored him reaching for his gun, "Lady hands off the suspect now!" he yelled causing Andy to flinch. Pruitt moved closer to the door of the kitchen to ensure that no one else came inside.

"Sir, it would be in your best interest if you put that gun down now, and away from her. There was a call about a fire, this is my scene, put the gun down." Robert repeated. They had no defense against two ICE agents with guns. The last thing he wanted was for his wife to get shot in front of her father, or him for that matter.

"Andy ponte detrás de mí" (Andy get behind me) Robert said in Spanish so the agents wouldn't understand. Andy did as her husband instructed not wanted to put the "victims" life at risk.

The second agent pulled out his gun, "You better get in line Chief".

"The last thing you need is an article published about ICE refusing to allow a patient to receive treatment in front of SFD firefighters. If you don't point those guns away from my wife right now, I will be the first to tell. So again, I suggest that you put those guns away now." He said as he backed up so he was fully covering Andy with his body, like a shield.

The agents exchanged a few glances before putting their guns away. It was as if it was on cue when Warren and Avery arrived to take the patient away. As soon as they wheeled the patient out on a stretcher Robert turned around to look at his wife who had the greatest expression of fear on her face. She was no longer afraid for her life at that point. She was terrified for her husband.

"What if they shot you," she said looking up and wrapping her arms around his waist.

"As long as I knew I was protecting you, I would've been fine" he said planting a kiss on her forehead.

"God, I love you," She said hugging him tighter

"I love you too," he said hugging her back

"Thank you, son," Pruitt said walking over to his daughter and son-in-law. "You truly do love her; I see that now."

"Yes, sir I do" Robert said looking at his wife smiling. Just then their phones began to buzz.

"4 alarms," Andy said looking at her husband, "We should get going"

"Be safe, we will have to reschedule lunch. Maybe I'll come by the station and we can talk" Pruitt said, giving his daughter a hug and a kiss on the cheek before shaking his son-in-law's hand

Andy and Robert, quickly ran back to the table grabbed their coats, and headed for the car.

"Your dad really is a badass," Robert said with a smile

"Where did you think I got it from," Andy said grabbing his free hand playing with his fingers. "You really scared be today. Don't ever do something like that again. I can't lose you too" She continued looking up at him with sad eyes.

"Okay I promise" He leaned over giving her a quick peck since they were at a red light.

Their phones buzzed again indicating it was now a five-alarm fire.

Robert began driving down the street as fast as he could without running the risk of getting a ticket. They got to the station ran in to get their turnouts and hopped into the Battalion 19 truck. Andy quickly took off her ring, attaching it to the necklace Robert bought her that she never took off. She reached over to him and grabbed his left hand, taking off his ring and putting it on the necklace too.

"Thank you, I almost forgot," He said as he sped down the road

"That's why I'm here, to make your life difficult and easy, all at the same time," She said with a smile

They arrived at the scene meeting up with the rest of 19. "where's miller" Andy whispered to Vic as Dixon was debriefing them.

"He stayed at the station with Pru" She said before walking off to go her assigned task.

"Herrera, I want you as acting Captain" Dixon yelled throwing her the captain's hat. She quickly switched her hats, giving her lieutenant one to Robert to hold. This caused Jack to give her a weird look. Dixon dismissed them. Andy walked over to the station 19 engine getting supplies out. Robert followed closely behind reaching above her to put her hat in the truck.

"Be careful, I won't be able to go in and save you if something happens," Robert said placing a hand on his wife's shoulder.

"Don't I always come back to you?" she said before winking and walking off. Robert just stood there smiling. Never in a million years would he think, he would've fallen in love with his lieutenant and married her, yet here he was love-struck by his badass wife, being amazing at a job they both love.

"Let's move people" Robert yelled before walking off.

I used google translate for the Spanish because I know absolutely none. Ill have another update later tonight.
