"Robert Sullivan…right?" Andy looked over to the man who walked up to the bar next to her.

He reaches for the beers he ordered but stops when you call his name. Obviously, he came with a group, unless he planned to drink five beers himself., not that she was judging. "I'm sorry, do I know you?" he asked turning to look at her.

"You work for the Seattle Fire Department…Uhh Station something right?" She laughs. To her, it sounds loud and obnoxious, but to him its bright and cuts through the darkness of the chaotic bar.

"Station 19," Robert's eyebrows furrow, looking over Andy's entire body before searching her face for answers to his unspoken question.

"Oh god!" Andy isn't the type to strike up a conversation with a man in a bar, but she is feeling bold, not to mention she is empowered by alcohol, "You must think I'm like a stalker or something. You conducted a training session at Washington State, that I attended." Andy watches as his face visibly softens when he realizes that you aren't a crazy stalker, or a crazy lady. She sticks her hand out for him to shake, "Andrea Herrera."

"It's nice to meet you…again, I guess," he says as he shakes her hand. It's clear that he is trying to be polite and he glances over his shoulder at a group of people at a booth. Their eyes are all on you two. He wants to go back but something about this "Andrea Herrera" is drawing him in. "So, you want to pursue a career in firefighting?" He moves so he is now sitting at the bar next to her.

"Actually, no" Andy feels the heat rising in her face as he moves closer to her and sits. She can't help but examine his body. He is a lot closer to her height now that he is sitting. He is wearing a black quarter zip and dark jeans. He doesn't fit into this atmosphere, and is clear. "I'm actually getting a Ph.D. in criminal psychology. I want to become a detective." She looks down, she hopes her blush isn't noticeable.

Robert smiles widely at your comment before jumping in, "So what were you doing in my SFD training session?"

Andy's face feels hot with embarrassment, "I snuck in. It looked interesting." She shrugs and reaches for the drink from the bartender. "I almost didn't go, but a classmate of mine told me that Firefighters are very attractive." She gives him a small wink before reaching for your check. "She was right, Chief Ripley is very handsome." Andy's attempts to keep a poker face but fails, as her lips curl upwards.

Robert lets out a laugh and takes the check from your hands. "You don't have to-" Andy begins to protest but Robert holds him hand up to silence you.

"My treat. As a thank you, for breaking the rules to be a part of my training session." He shares in her smile as he hands the bartender his card, paying for her drinks. Andy just broke up with Ryan a few weeks prior and cut all ties with Jack as well. She decided to go out and cheer herself up. Seeing Robert Sullivan up close and personal is definitely a pick me up.

"Do you have a business card or something?

"Uh…yes." Robert is hesitant to hand it over but reaches into his wallet for one anyway. Andy grabs a pen and takes the business card from Robert. She scribbles her number on the back and hands it back to him.

"This is my number." She holds it out before reaching for her purse. He looks down at the number and then back up at Andy. For a grown, adult man, he doesn't seem to understand. Andy can read the confusion written all over his face, she finds it adorable honestly.

"Call me sometime. You know, so I can pay you back for that drink." Andy stands up from the bar, legs weak from the heavy drinking she had done, "Or if you just want some company." Robert nods slighting in response as she turns to leave. Andy can't help but turn for a second to watch as Robert walks back to his table of what appear to be friends and colleagues. One of the women look back at Andy and smiles the most infectious, sweetest smile at you.

It wasn't until late that night that Andy got a call.

"Hello?" she mumbled into the phone, pulling the blanket around her shoulders tighter.

"We didn't really get to talk much at the bar, but I'm pretty sure you made some promises about paying me back for that drink," a stern man's voice cuts through the phone

"Robert?" she asks momentarily confused, "It-It's late, are you drunk?"

Her laugh rings through the phone and it's that laugh that has Robert so intensely drawn to her. He can't help himself. He needs to be near her, "Just go to the door."

Andy stands up, "My door? How did you get my-," she opens the door and there he is, standing with the hone pressed to his ear. He pulls it away and hangs up. "This is incredibly creepy; I hope you know that." Andy leans against the doorframe, pulling her large sweater around herself tighter. His eyes run over you. She grins slightly, catching his wandering gaze, and at that, he shoves his hands in his pockets.

"So, about that drink you owe me." Roberts takes a few hesitant steps into Andy's apartment which she shares with her best friend. He closes the door behind him, "How about you pay me back wit-" he starts to talk but Andy doesn't let him finish his sentence. She grips his shirt and pulls him close, her lips melting against his.

It's messy and passionate and needy. They struggle and stumble along to her bedroom, his hands touching every inch of her body. He hurriedly pulls her sweater off and tosses it off to the side before unzipping her dress. She lets it fall to the floor and kicks it off as she matches his frantic pace, pulling off his shirt and pushing down his jeans. He lays her downs gently and reaches around to unclasp her bra.

"Holy fuck," Robert groans as he takes a second to take in Andy's naked body

"Shhh you will wake up my roommate." Andy says, suddenly getting nervous now that he was staring at her naked body.

He begins leaving a trail of soft kisses down the expanse of her chest and breasts. He travels down further. His lips brush against her inner thighs, his stubble tickling her skim. He smirks up at her wickedly as he grips her thong in his teeth, pulling it down her legs. Andy knows that the wetness between her thighs will give away how bad she wants him right now.

He doesn't hesitate, he doesn't care about the roommate sleeping across the hall. He goes to work. Andy's back arches as her hands travel to his head holding it in place. She pants heavily as two of his fingers press into her. "Oh god, Robert yes!"

His name rolls off her tongue and she chants it like a mantra as his somehow rough yet gentle touch drives her wild. She feels the knots building in her stomach. Her legs tremble with pleasure as her eyes shut harshly. "Fuck, Fuck, Fuck!" She is panting intensely at this point, not giving a damn about who is across the hall. The whole room slips away as her body feels out of control. Every nerve ending on fire. And Robert is merciless, he continues to lick and tease making Andy ride out her high.

He can't help but grin proudly at the number he's done on her. He comes up to plant a few more kisses on her lips. She can feel his rock-hard erection pressing against her thigh. She kisses him hungrily as she begins to stroke him through his boxers.

Andy flips the two over so she is on top of him, her chest pressed against his. She dips her hand into his boxers, pumping the entirety of his length. She feels him getting harder. "Andrea." His eyes flutter open he grabs her arm to still her motions. "I need you, now."

Within seconds he's peeling his boxers off, Andy rolls the condom down onto him and she slams her hips down on his. She can't contain the loud gasps and moans as she feels herself stretch around him. It had been so long since she had sex, this is the first time she had sex this good.

"Oh god." Andy's eyes are practically rolling back into her head. He has a tight grip on her hips and she can feel the bruises forming under his fingertips. She grinds her hips against him as she rides faster. "God you feel amazing," Robert lets out another one of those groans Andy finds so sexy.

"I'm close," she whined out. It's not long until she is tumbling over the edge. And not long until she feels him throbbing deep inside her. She flips off him to collapse at his side on the bed.

"So, when are we doing this again?" Andy pants heavily and hears the most beautiful sound in response. The sound of Robert laughing.

Sometimes she worries that he is embarrassed by her. She is a few years shy of 15 years younger than him. She's still in school. He was starting college by the time she was out of diapers. He runs a whole goddamn branch in the Seattle Fire Department and she's still a student. They are both in entirely separate places in life, how does one reconcile that? Its not as if he keeps her a secret. Ripley knows her, and she met his daughter Amelia once. Besides, she's not really showing him off either. Not that she has many people to show him off too.

It had been weeks since she'd seen him which left her to sit around and overthink just about everything.

He has been working back to back 24-hour shifts at the station. She saw the news reports of all the fires going on in apartment buildings similar to hers.

It was a typical Friday night Maya was at her girlfriends' house and Andy was working on a paper for one of her classes. She picked up her phone checking for any messages from Robert. She would drop everything if he told her he was coming over tonight. There was indeed a new message but it wasn't exactly the type of text she was hoping for.

"Please be careful. Make sure your stove is off and everything is good before you go to bed. If there is anything wrong or need anything at all call me."

She furrows her brows. It's not new that Robert cares about her and wants to look out for her but usually while at work or out on a call its radio silence from him. Yes, if she was really in danger, he would want her to call immediately, but usually, he tells her he needs to focus on the job and nothing else.

Hours go by and Andy finally comes to the conclusions that he isn't going to come over tonight. He isn't going to text her again. So, she just submits her paper and heads to the shower.

Robert looks down at his phone, waiting for any sign that Andy has seen his text. He doesn't panic though. She has a life, she is busy. She probably has plans…with someone. Robert shakes his head slightly forcing his attention back to the road ahead of them. But his mind still wanders would she go out with someone? It's not like anything between them is defined. I mean, he would never go out with anyone else. He just wants her. If she wants to go on a date, she can do whatever she wants. Yet, Sullivan can't help but feel the jealousy coursing through his body. The idea of someone else touching her…yeah, that definitely makes him angry.

His more rational thinking takes over. Maybe she is busy with school work. He knows how hard she's been working on her paper. He fails to hide a smile as he thinks about the way her face lights up when talking about her school work. The passion she has for her work is extremely adorable…

Andy heard three short raps at the door, "Its open!" she calls out as she rushes to get all her thoughts down on her computer. She hears the door open and the footsteps approaching.

"you leave your door unlocked? Do you realize how incredibly unsafe and unwise that is?" She can hear that Robert probably has his stern face on, judging by the disapproval in his voice.

"I knew you were coming," She shrugs and gnaws at her bottom lip furiously as she works. "I just need one moment. I was thinking that in a controlled environment…" As she rambled Roberts hand snakes around her waist. He pushes her hair to the side, placing feather-light kisses along her neck.

"Mn," He mumbles against her

"Wait, wait," she moans, "If you keep doing that, I'm going to lose my train of thought and I will never forgive you unless you can formulate a new method of interro—" He nips at her skin giving her hips a squeeze.

"The interrogation methods can wait," Robert growls against her skin, turning her around so he can passionately kiss her, "I need you now"

The panic doesn't ease because Robert reaches to call Andy once again. She doesn't pick up because well…she is in the shower. He thinks if she had just given a small "ok" text, he would know she is safe. But he is panicking. He continues to panic until they arrive back at the station and head to the beanery to get something to eat. He grabs a cup of coffee but drops it when the alarm goes off again. He feels his stomach drop.

When they arrived to the scene there was fire shooting out of multiple windows on each floor. Sullivan immediately gave out orders and then began to search and scan the sidewalk for Andy. As he searched and didn't see her the panic began to rise again inside him, until he heard a voice screaming. He whipped around to see her being held back by Dean as she was trying to get back into the building.

"Let go of me! I need my computer! It has all my work on it. Let me go!" she yelled and kicked her feet punching the firefighter left and right.

"Ma'am I need you to calm down. We will try and retrieve your laptop once the fire is out." Dean said.

"Let me go. I know a firefighter. He's a Battalion Chief or something. Call him, he'll tell you." She yelled

"Yes, I'm sure the Battalion Chief would drop everything to come and help you out." He said looking unamused.

"Call him. Call Robert Sullivan," when the name left her mouth Deans head shot up looking between her and his Battalion Chief who was making his way over to them.

"Sir, you know her? How do you know each other?"

"Robert and I are fuc—"

"Friends. Andrea and I are friends. Now go inside and see if you can retrieve the laptop please Miller." Robert cut her off hoping to spare the questions when they get back to the station.

Andy walks into the station greeted by Dean who was sitting at the desk. He escorts you up to the beanery where everyone is hanging out. She walks into the crowded kitchen and all the members of the team turn and smile at you. Robert moves towards her and quickly give her a soft kiss on her lips. "I'm so happy you're here."

She smiles up at him before pulling away and making rounds hugging everyone who has become a family to her.

"Travis wraps a friendly arm around her shoulder and can't help but tease Robert, "Chief you couldn't be bothered to pick up your girl?" he turns to smile at you while Robert shakes his head.

"I had to stop by my school so I had my classmate Tyler drop me off after we finished up." She shrugged.

"Tyler, huh?" Ripley grins, hoping to rile up Robert a little.

"Is he cute?" Vic chimes in with a laugh

Robert quickly clears his throat, hoping to change topics. He raises his brows at Andy, "So do you want to share the new or should I do it for you?"

"Oh my god, you're totally preggers!" Maya squeals and runs to hug you. Andy and Robert look at each other and can only laugh.

"No, no. If I was preggers you would've known already." She smiled. She playfully nudged Roberts arm, "See what you did? Always causing trouble."

"Me? If I recall correctly you were the one who put up a hell of a fight over your computer. I think Miller still has a few bruises." His comment elicits a series of small laughs from everyone.

Andy rolls her eyes. "Anyway, the actual news. No, I'm not pregnant." She points at Maya as she opened her mouth to say something else.

"You're looking at the proud new owner of a Ph. D in criminal psychology!" Andy does a small cheesy spin as the rest of the team congratulates her, "handed in my final thesis paper today." Robert smiles proudly as she moves back to his side.

"That's great. Now you can say you're smarter than Sullivan." Ben chimes in making everyone laugh.

"Okay enough small talk. I'm here to learn the ways of Chef Montgomery and Chef Miller," She looks up at Robert who rolls his eyes with a smile and Andy pulls him close while Travis and Dean start to demonstrate.

"I love you so much you know that?" Robert has his arms wrapped around her from behind. He speaks softly so only Andy can hear.

"I know," she smiles, happiness flooding through her body, "I love you too."
