The next morning, Vicky left the bed walks out of her bedroom down the hallway her parents' bedroom push the door open and saw her daddy sleeping. She runs over to the bed and then began to shake Daddy's arm to wake him. He arose from his sleep opens his eyes to see to his oldest princess there smile at him.
"Good morning, princess," he said smiling at her.
"Good morning, daddy," she said, as he sat up, push the covers off him, scoops her up and kiss her.
He stood up from the bed they walk out of the bedroom and then the staircase when they reach the bottom they head for the kitchen where Mike began to cook breakfast. A few minutes later, Kathy came walking into the kitchen with Ashley. Kathy saw her daddy and ran over to him.
"Good morning, princess," he said.
"Good morning, daddy," she said.
Once he was done cooking breakfast, everyone sat down at the table and had some delicious breakfast. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Vince and Linda walking into Kayla's hospital bed and she smiles at them.
"Hi, honey," Vince, said, leaned down and kissing on her cheek.
"Hi, dad," she said, kissing him back.
"Hi, pebble," Linda said kissing her too.
"Hi, mom," she said kissing back her too. They sat down in the chairs beside the bed.
"How are you doing this morning?" Vince asked her.
"I am good dad…. just lain here relaxing like Dr. Jones want me too."
"Can you talk about why you have high blood pressure?" Linda asked her.
Kayla remains silent, Linda looks at her and said, "Kayla Elizabeth"
"Okay, I will talk," she said.
"Good answer Kayla Elizabeth," Linda said.
"On Friday I was in meeting with creative writing staffers when Donald and I started arguing over who should win the match between Mike and Daniel."
"Donald knows not to question you on who wins, especially when I say that Mike is winning this feud over Bryan," Vince said
"Well, dad he decides he was going to argue with me and telling me that you dad, would agree with him on Daniel Bryan winning the match over Mike. I told him dreams on my dad would agree on with me Mike winning this match. And then he had the nerve to tell me I can't be biased toward my own husband career."
"Well, he has no business saying that to you pebble, seeing that you don't show favoritism toward Mike's character at all. Unless dad gave the ok for that."
"I know mom, but he thinks different I guess."
"Princess is Donald the one staffers who believe that Sasha should be RAW Women's Champion?" He asked
"Yes, dad. I have never shown favoritism toward Mike's wrestling career."
Vince said, "Both you and Mike followed the script. And when Mike does what the script says Bryan had a problem with it but Styles followed the scripts, he has no problem."
Linda said, "Bryan is a fool and I guarantee whatever the outcome of tonight match with Mike, he will whine about it."
"Of course honey, that how he is whine about everything that happens to him."
Back at the Mizanin house, they finished breakfast; Mike and Ashley clean up the breakfast dishes.
"Daddy we go see mommy?' Kathy asked as Ashley took her out of the highchair.
"Yes princess, after I shower we will go see mommy before I travel to Brooklyn for SummerSlam," he replied.
She ran out of the kitchen and Ashley was in hot pursuit of her. Mike went to take a shower so he and the girls could visit mommy in the hospital. Meanwhile, at the Cena house, Stephanie was busying changing the script when Sophia walks into her home office.
"Mommy, are you busy?" She asked Stephanie looks up at her.
"Yes, baby I am busy changing the script for SummerSlam," she answered and then going back to work on the script.
"Why are you changing the script that Auntie Kayla job," she said walking over to the desk.
"I am changing the script because Auntie Kayla is in the hospital right now," she said.
"Auntie Kayla is having the baby now?" She asked
"No, baby, Auntie is not having the baby now. She is in the hospital for bed rest," she replied.
"Bed rest. What does that's mean mommy?" She asked
"It means to rest your body."
"Auntie won't be at SummerSlam tonight?" She asked
"Yes, baby, Auntie won't be at SummerSlam," she replied
"Who will do her job then?" She asked
"Me and grandpa," she replied.
An hour later, they all walk out of the house, down the steps and toward the SVU that is waiting for them and then they got inside the SVU. The driver closes the door drove down the circular driveway and out the open the gates and twenty minutes later, SVU pulls up to Mercy General Hospital and came to stop and then bodyguard steps out of the SVU, close the door and then around opened the door. Mike steps out of the SVU first then he reaches inside took Vicky of the SVU first and puts her down. He reaches back inside, took Kathy out next, and then places her down. he closes the door and then they walk into the hospital. They head for the elevator and then took it up to the floor that Kayla is on. When the elevator reaches the floor the doors slid opened and they walk out of the elevator and down the hallway toward Kayla's hospital room. When they arrive the door was opened and inside where papa and nana.
"Mommy," the girls said running toward the hospital bed.
"Hi, my pebbles," she said, as Linda picks up Kathy first and then place her on the bed and then she picks Vicky up and then places on her the bed too.
"Mommy, you okay?" Kathy asked her.
"Yes, baby I am okay just a little tired," she replied touching her cheek. Mike kisses her on the head.
"Hi, love," he said.
"Hi, honey," she said.
Mommy daddy, said you on bed rest?" Vicky asked
"Yes, baby, Dr. Jones is monitoring me and you're baby slicing," she replied touching her belly.
"No, SummerSlam tonight?" She asked
"Well not for me, I am stuck in the hospital."
"Princesses you can watch SummerSlam at home with Ashley, and maybe I will ask Auntie Stephanie if you cousins can watch with you and Kathy," he said.
"Let's mommy ask," she said, with a smile.
They chuckled then Vince hand Kayla his phone and she touches the screen then find Stephanie and touch the screen again. She bought the phone up to her ear. She heard her sister's voice.
"Yes dad," she said, as Kayla chuckled.
"Not dad, Steph, it's me your sister," she said.
"Hi, did you steal his phone," she said
Kayla chuckle and said, "No, I didn't steal his phone. Anyway, are Khloe, Sophia and JJ excited about going to Barclays Center for SummerSlam?"
"Not really why are you asking?" She asked
"Well, can you bring them to my house and they can watch with Vicky and Kathy tonight," she replied.
"Hold on a sec," she said, and then pulls the phone away for her ear.
"Khloe, Sophia, and JJ please come here," she called out to them. She heard them coming running down the hallway and into her home office.
"Yes, mommy," they said together.
"Instead of going with me to Barclays Center how would like to go to Auntie Kayla and Uncle Mike's house and watch with your cousins?" She asked them
"Yea, mommy," they replied and she bought the phone back to her ear.
"Okay, Kayla I will drop them off at the house."
"Thanks, Steph," she said
"You're welcome. You rest and I will come to see you tomorrow," she said.
"Okay, love you, sis," she said
"Love you too," she said disconnect her call.
"Your cousins Khloe, JJ and Sophia are coming to the house to watch SummerSlam with you too," she said.
"Yay," Vicky and Kathy said, together.
They spend several hours visiting with Kayla before it was time to go. They kiss her goodbye Linda stay with her.
"Bye mommy," Vicky said, kissing on the lips.
"Bye, pebble and you be a good girl for Ashley ok," she said.
"I will mommy," she said, as Mike took her off the bed.
"Bye mommy," Kathy said next and kissing her on the lips too.
"Be good Kathy," she said.
"I will mommy," she said, as Mike took her off the bed next.
"Bye love and I will be back tomorrow morning to see," he said, lean down and kissing her.
"Bye love, and be careful in your match with that annoying troll," she said touching his face.
"I will love, and love you," he said.
"I love you too," she said, as they walk out of the hospital room.
"Bye princess," he said.
"Bye dad," she said.
"Remain calm while you watch SummerSlam tonight," he said, leaning down and kiss too.
"I will dad," she said kissing him back. He kisses Linda bye and then walks out of the hospital room.
Twenty minutes later, Mike pulls into the driveway and the gates open and he drove through them up to the circular driveway to the house. When he reaches, the house came to stop, then turns the key shutting off the engine and then pulls out of the ignition. He unbuckled his seatbelt and then open the door and step out of the car closes the door behind him. He opens the back door and inside and unbuckled Kathy, then took her out of car seat and then place her on the feet. He closes the door walk around the car and then open the door and lean inside the car and unbuckled Vicky from her car seat and took her out of the car next. He closes the door and they walk toward the house where he pulled out his keys.
When they reach the front door Mike slid the key into the locks and then turn it unlocked the door, and then he turns the doorknob opened the door, Vicky and Kathy walked into the house first and then Mike follows them inside and he closes the door. Vicky and Kathy went to play with their toys while Mike did something around the house for Kayla. An hour later Stephanie drops off Khloe, Sophia, and JJ at the house.
"Any change to the script Steph?" Mike asked
"Yes, there are some changes," she replied showing him the changes that she made this morning.
"Okay," he said, hand her the script back.
"How is Kayla doing Mike?" She asked
"Okay, following Dr. Jones instruction staying confined to the hospital bed. Your mom is staying with her at the hospital," he replied
"Good she needs someone there during SummerSlam tonight," she said.
"Yes, she needs to avoid stress right now. I don't know if it is a good idea for her to be watching SummerSlam," he said.
"Mike you know Kayla she is going to watched SummerSlam no matter what," she said.
"I know Steph."
"Mike she will be fine with my mom be there with her. You concentrate on your match for tonight."
"I will Steph," he said.
"Okay I will see you at the arena later," she said and went t to kisses her kids' bye along with her nieces.
After kissing them she walks out of the house and got in her car and then drove down the circular driveway to where the gates opened and then drove out and sped off toward the highway.
At the Barclays, Center Superstars were walking through the arena. Stephanie arrived at the Barclays Center, and exit her car and walk through the arena, toward the locker room that the family would be using for the night. When she arrives at the locker room and she opens the door and enters the room and the door closes behind him. She began preparing for SummerSlam. Two hours later, Stephanie walks out of the locker room and heads for the catering area where everyone is. She walks into the catering and grabs some food. She sat down the table with Randy and Carol began eating her she finishes her food, the superstars were mingling around waiting for SummerSlam to start.
Stephanie walks toward the gorilla position up to the steps and through the curtains, over to her seat and then sat down in her chair and pick up her headset and puts them on. The 2018 WWE SummerSlam pre-show kicks off live from the Barclays Center, as the fans make their way into the arena, as Renee Young welcomes the fans watched on the WWE Network. She is joining by Sam Roberts, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and David Otunga. The panel goes over tonight's card. Renee sends the fans to JBL and Peter Rosenberg on the ramp in the arena.
They joke around before discussing tonight's WWE Intercontinental Championship match. JBL says, "This match could steal the show tonight" and he predicts Dolph Ziggler to retain but say the real winner will be the fans. JBL and Peter Rosenberg plug tonight are preshow kick-off matches next, and then sends the fans to commercial. Back from the break and to Renee as the camera shows fans finding their seats. A promo is a show for tonight's triple threat for the SmackDown Women's Championship. The panel discusses the match, and Renee sends the fans to a backstage video from The New Day, who is hype up and ready for tonight title shot as they look to becomes five-time champions. Back to JBL and Peter Rosenberg discuss Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens now. They believe that Braun will win the match. JBL and Peter send the fans to highlights from SummerSlam week in the NYC-Metro arena next and after the video back to the panel.
Renee said, "The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan's match is up in the air right now because Kayla McMahon was rush to the hospital last night. We are waiting for word on if the match will take place tonight." Everyone in the arena were shocked to hear that Kayla McMahon was rush to the hospital last night.
Booker T said, "I hope Kayla and their unborn child are okay.
Renee said, "We are all hope that Kayla McMahon and her unborn child are okay. We haven't received any word on the condition of Kayla McMahon."
David said, "If the match does take place there is a camera set up in the garage area."
The panel discusses the match anyway, and Booker T predicts Miz will win, along with Sam Roberts and David Otunga goes with Daniel Bryan. Renee shows the fans a video package for The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan. After the video package and then Renee sends the fans to a promo for Ronda Rousey and Alexa Bliss next and after the video back to JBL and Peter Rosenberg on the ramp.
JBL said, "I hope Kayla McMahon and her unborn child are okay."
Peter said, "Yes, we are hoping that Kayla McMahon and her unborn child are okay."
JBL and Peter Rosenberg discuss the RAW Women's Championship match now. JBL believes Alexa Bliss has a good chance to retain but Peter Rosenberg disagrees. Peter Rosenberg sends the fans backstage and we see Aiden English approaching Lana and Rusev. He wants to make up for everything that happened. He goes to sing but Rusev interrupts.
He said, "Tonight is about Rusev Day and Lana Day, so English needs to stay in the back." They walk off.
Back to the ring we go, as Tom Phillips welcomes the fans who are watching at home on the WWE Network. He is joined by Corey Graves and Byron.
Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega are out first for tonight's opener as Greg Hamilton does the introductions. Rusev and Lana are out next for this mixed tag team match. The bell sounded, and here we go. There was action throughout the match, Almas tries to distract but Lana slaps him. Vega takes advantage of the distraction and rolls Lana up for the win, putting her feet on the ropes for advantage.
Back to the panel and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler is out. Lawler is in good spirit and he hopes that Kayla McMahon and her unborn child are okay. The panel then runs down the SummerSlam card again. We go backstage to Charly Caruso, as she approaching Paul Heyman as he is about to enter Brock Lesnar's locker room.
Heyman said, "Lesnar is going to get rid of the big dog tonight."
He said, "Lesnar is preparing to be the next UFC Champion and will beat Daniel Comier." Heyman goes on about Lesnar finally getting rid of Reigns tonight as he prepares to become a two-sport champion.
Heyman said, "The big dog will not come back for more this time and that's a not a prediction, that's a spoiler."
Back to the panel as they began to discuss the WWE Universal Championship matches. we go backstage again to WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick, RAW General Manager and SmackDown General Manager Paige. They all hope that their boss Kayla McMahon and her unborn child are okay. They discuss some of tonight's matches until in come Baron Corbin. He wants to make sure that Angle is on top of his game tonight. So, he doesn't have to call RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. They look at him like he was crazy.
Angle said, "Baron let's get something straight here you are not part of Management. And I highly doubt that Stephanie McMahon Cena will take a phone call from you."
Angle mentions Baron Corbin should be prepared for his match against Finn Balor and Corbin said, "He will put Balor away in short order tonight."
We go back to commercial. Back from the break and we have new announcers team, Vic Joseph, Percy Watson, and Nigel McGuiness. We go back to the ring, and Drew Gulak is out first. Jack Gallagher and Brain Kendrick are banned from ringside during the match. WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander is out next. The bell sounded and there was action throughout the match and nears fall between the two. Cedric comes out of the pin attempts rolls Gulak up for the pin and retains the title. We go back to the panel and Renee sends us to JBL and Peter Rosenberg on the ramp again. They discuss tonight SmackDown Women's Championship next and JBL believes Becky Lynch may have the advantage. They send the fans to a video package for Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles next.
Joe joins the panel from backstage and takes questions. Joe is very confident going into tonight's match and said, "He has AJ right where he wants him." Joe sends AJ a message and said, "He's coming for the title, and will put AJ put to sleep tonight."
Renee sends the fans back to JBL and Peter Rosenberg for discussion on the match. they then send the fans to the ring and Michael Cole is with Corey Graves and Jonathan Coachman. They too hoped that Kayla McMahon and her unborn child are doing okay. The music hits and out comes The Revival Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, as JoJo does the introduction. Out next are the RAW Tag Team Champions B team Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. The bell sounded and here we go. There was action throughout the match and The Revival control the match until some flute thing happens, when Dallas dumps back into Axel and Dawson, forcing Axel for turn the roll-up for the win and retain the titles. After the match, The Revival can't believe it.
We go back to the panel and they go over tonight's matches again. We see Ronda Rousey backstage warming up. Charly Caruso approaches Alexa Bliss and tries to get comments but Bliss refuses to speak and walk off. The panel discusses Rousey vs. Bliss next and then sends us to a video package for tonight's WWE Universal Championship match. The panel, JBL, and Peter Rosenberg discuss the match next. JBL and Peter Rosenberg wrap up their gigs and are off to watch the show. The panel talks more Reigns vs. Lesnar before Renee wrap up and plug SummerSlam on the WWE Network one more time. As we see Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose backstage walking. That's it for the SummerSlam preshow
