Linda sat at the table with Vicky and Kathy as they ate their breakfast but she could not help but think about Kayla's birth, the umbilical cord was wrap Kayla's neck cutting off her air supply. She went back time to Kayla's birth.

"Flashback"

Linda held Vince's hand as tights as she could and pushing. She felt the baby, come out of her but they did not hear any noise, with Shane and Stephanie immediately began to cry. She and Vince got really scared and nervous. Dr. Shaw held the baby and looked at her nurse before rushing the baby away from Linda and Vince. Linda sat up as much as she could and had a look of terror in her eyes. She looked up at Vince, who had the same terror on his face.

"Vince, honey, what's wrong with our baby?" she asked

Vince looked on as the doctors who surround his baby and doing something. Dr. Shaw, along with the nurse and host of other doctors were performing CPR on the baby. Vince's heart is breaking and praying to God that his and Linda's baby will be ok. Linda was pleading and begging God not to take their baby away from them. Linda had tears in her blue eyes while holding Vince's hand as he had his own tears in his eyes. The team of Doctors continues to performing CPR on the baby.

It felt like hours were passing by and neither of them could take much more of not knowing what is going on with their baby. Linda and Vince are trying to prepare themselves for their baby not making it. After what seemed like an eternity, they both heard the sweetest sound they could ever be heard, their baby crying. Linda looked up at Vince and he smiled with relief and she smiles. Her smile said the same thing. After a few moments, Dr. Shaw, walk over to Linda and Vince.

"Congratulations Linda and Vince it's a baby girl," she announced holding the baby girl.

Both Linda and Vince were both smiling brightly, as Dr. Shaw, placed the baby girl, in her mother's arms. Vince sat down the bed next to Linda looking down at his second precious princess. She was beautiful and took their breath away. They stared at her for a while before Vince looked up at Dr. Shaw, and ask "what was wrong with her?"

Dr. Shaw says, "The umbilical cord was around her neck and cutting off her air supply. Luckily we were able to revive her."

"Thank you, Dr. Shaw, and everyone," Vince said Linda had tears of joy and relief that her daughter was ok.

"You're welcome Vince," she said walking out of the delivery room leaving Linda and Vince along with their daughter.

Vince kisses his daughter's forehead and says, "You did good princess. You fought hard and here you are with us."

He placed his finger in her little hand and her little fingers wrapped around his. Linda bent down and kissed her head.

"You know darling, I never imagined I'd have such a good life."

"Me neither sweetheart, until you came into my life. I knew my life would be happy as long as I had you. We got married, and then four later, we had our son Shane. Six years later, Stephanie was born, I thought life couldn't get any better than that until our second daughter came now it's even more perfect, sweetheart."

Linda smiles at him and says, "I love you, Vincent."

"I love you, too, Linda forever."

Vince leans in and kisses her with their second daughter between them.

"So, we need a name for our precious princess, here," Vince said.

"I know. But right now I need some sleep."

Vince chuckle and says, "Okay. Come here, princess." He took their princess from her and then she closed her eyes and went to sleep.

He looks down at his second princess, and says, "I have the perfect name for you, Kayla Elizabeth McMahon."

Kayla grunts approval of her name and Vince smile.

Linda snaps out of her flashback because her granddaughter Vicky was calling her.

"Huh? Oh, hi, Mike."

"Hi, mom, you okay?" He asked

"Yes, I am fine son. How is Kayla doing?"

"She is okay mom. She orders me to come home and get some sleep."

Linda chuckle and says, "Sound just like my daughter."

"Daddy when mommy came home?" Kathy asked him,

"Tomorrow princess, mommy, and little Michael will be home."

"Yay," she said, jumping up and down.

Mike kisses his daughters bye and then head up the back staircase.

"Okay you two ready to go school?" she asked

"Yes, grandma" Vicky and Kathy replied, as she stood up from the chair and then they walk out of the kitchen toward the foyer.

Linda grabs their school bags and then unlocked the door, turning the doorknob opening the door. Vicky and Kathy walk out of first followed by a grandma who closed the door behind them and relocked. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Kayla was in her hospital room when in walks Doctor Jones, with smiles.

"Good Morning Kayla"

"Good Morning Dr. Jones."

"How are you feeling this morning?" She asked

"I feel fine," she replied

"Good, we are taking you for a walk and then Nurse Barbara will bring Michael in so that you can breastfeeding him."

"Okay, Dr. Jones"

Another nurse helps Kayla out of her hospital bed and then there walk out of the hospital room and down the hallway. Meanwhile, Linda stops off as the local diner and gets some real food for her daughter Kayla. After getting some food for Kayla, she got back in her car and then drove off toward the hospital. Twenty- five minutes later, she pulls up to the hospital and finds a parking spot in the near and then park the car unbuckle her seatbelt, grabs her purse and food and then opens the door. She steps out of the car and closed the door and then set the alarm. She walks toward the hospital and went inside over to the elevator.

She took the elevator up to the floor that Kayla was on and when it reaches the floor the doors slid opened and she steps off the elevator and walks down the hallway to Kayla's hospital room. When reaches the hospital room walks inside to see her daughter feeding her grandson.

"Hi, pebble," she said with a smile

Kayla looks up to see her mom and says, "Hi, mom."

Linda place the bag of food on the table and then leaned down to kiss her daughter.

"I bought you some food."

"Thanks, mom. Um, you would burp little Michael for me."

"Sure princess. Come here pumpkin," she said taking little Michael from her.

Kayla takes the food out of the bags and begun to eat the food that her mom bought her. Linda rubs his little back and then he burps and both his mommy and grandma smile. Linda kisses his head and Kayla noticed her mom's face.

"Mom you okay?" she asked as Linda looks at her.

'yes, but there is something you need to pebble."

"Okay, what did Vicky or Kathy do?"

"Vicky and Kathy didn't do anything."

"Okay not them then what do I need to know."

"Well… um- ahem," she clears her throat. "What happens to little Michael also happen to you thirties five years ago."

Kayla had a shocked look on her face and says, "What mom."

Linda lay little Michael down in his bassinette and then walk over to the bed and sat down.

"When you were born you didn't cry either because your umbilical cord was wrapped around your neck cutting off your air supply. Dr. Shaw, a team of doctors and nurses performing CPR on you while dad and I were pleading and begging God not to take you away. Dr. Shaw, the doctors and nurses were able to revive you."

"wow. I don't know what to say right now."

"I know pebble. But I know what you were going through yesterday."

"Why didn't you say anything?"

"Because of Vicky and Kathy."

"Does Stephanie know?"

"Yes, she knows I told her for a long time."
