On Friday morning, November 2, Kayla woke early and turned on the TV to watch Crown Jewel from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She watched the preshow opening live from the WWE Headquarters in Stamford Ct. Jonathan Coachman welcomes the fans who are up watching the WWE Network. He has joined David Otunga and WWE Hall of Fame Booker T., The panel, go over the card, and Coach hype the WWE Network and the upcoming Survivor Series Pay- Per- View. Coach talks about a match for the vacant WWE Universal Championship and leads the fans to a video package showing how Roman Reigns recently announced his battle with Leukemia, which forced him to relinquish the WWE Universal Title.
The panel talks about Reigns' battle with Leukemia and then tonight Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman match. Otunga predicts Braun Strowman to win the match and title. The panel then talks about the World Cup Tournament next. Coach leads us to a video package on Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio ahead of their tournament match. After the video package Crown Jewel, go to commercials. Back from the break and Coach Talks about Samoa Joe vs. WWE Champion AJ Styles, we get a video package for the match. After the video, Coach leads the fans to another World Cup Tournament for WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs. Bobby Lashley. After that video, Coach sends the fans to the ring for the match. We go to the ring in the King Saudi University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Michael Cole welcomes the fans watching back in the United States and is joined by Renee Young and Corey Graves on commentary.
WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura is out first as Greg Hamilton does the introduction. Rusev is out next. He heads to the ring as Nakamura waits in the ring for him. Rusev enters the ring, then the bell sounded, and here we go. There was nonstop action throughout the match until Nakamura tries to hit the Kinshasa, but Rusev moves and turns it into the Accolade in the middle of the ring.
Rusev tightens the hold as the referee check on Nakamura. Nakamura drags them to the rope, but Rusev drops him with a kick. Nakamura takes advantage and hits a low-blow headbutt. It looks like an accident, but he is smiling. Nakamura nails the Kinshasa for the win. Michael Cole sends the fans back to WWE Headquarters to Coach Booker and David Otunga. The panel talks more about the World Cup Tournament, another video package on The Miz and Jeff Hardy. After the video, Booker believes that Bobby Lashley can win the Tournament; we get another video package for Dolph Ziggler and WWE Hall of Fame Kurt Angle. David Otunga wonders if Drew McIntyre will help Dolph Ziggler.
The panel talks about How SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon will fire the SmackDown Superstars that lose to a RAW Superstar in the finals if they lose. Coach predicts Kurt Angle to win the tournament. David Otunga goes with Rey Mysterio while Booker predicts Bobby Lashley to win it all. WWE Crown Jewel goes back to commercials. Back from the break, Coach leads us to a video package for DX vs. The Brothers of Destruction. After the video, the panel talks briefly about the match, which is for the preshow.
The first-ever WWE Crown Jewel event opens up with a video package. We are live from a sold-out King Saudi University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Kayla looks at the clock on the nightstand and saw it was still early to wake the girls for school and then turn back to the TV right to the ring we go, as Greg Hamilton introduce the host for tonight, WWE hall of fame Hulk Hogan. The Hulkster comes out with his red and yellow feather boa.
Hulk Hogan hits the ring as the fireworks go off outside of the stadium. Hulk Hogan hype the crowd up and talks about how he flew over to Saudi Arabia and found out that Hulkamania is just as strong ever, right here at Crown Jewel.
Hogan says, "It's good to see everyone, and he's happy to be back in WWE."
He goes on and says, "The show starts right now. So what ya gonna do when the power of Hulkamania and Crown Jewel run wild on you, brother?"
Hogan's music starts back up as he plays to the crowd with his signature poses. We get more fireworks outside of the Stadium. Hamilton introduces his Excellency Mr. Turki, all-Sheilkh of the Sports Federation of Islamic Solidarity, at ringside in his seat. The announcers' hype show tonight. We see the WWE World Cup trophy at ringside we get ready for the first tournament match. Hamilton gives a grand introduction for Rey Mysterio and outcomes as the pyro goes off.
A sidebar video from Rey Mysterio says, "This tournament is one of the reasons he came back to WWE."
Greg Hamilton gives a grand introduction to Randy Orton, and out he comes next. Another sidebar video from Orton on his way to the ring. Orton said, "He's always been the best and will prove it tonight."
The bell sounded, and here we go. Throughout the match, there was nonstop action until Orton goes for the "RKO," but Rey blocks it, counters, and rolls Orton up out of nowhere for the surprise pin to advance. After the match, Orton immediately drops Rey with the "RKO" as his music startup. Next, Orton launches Rey under the bottom rope, sending him out of the floor. Orton followed and slammed Rey face-first into the announce table. A referee helps Rey limps off as Greg Hamilton announces him as the winner. Byron Saxton is backstage with The Miz.
Miz says, "He will walk his way through the tournament because he's awesome."
He goes on and says, "I am dedicated to my family back in Greenwich." Then, he walks off as we go back to the ring and outcomes, Jeff Hardy.
We get a sidebar video from Hardy with comments on his demons and becoming the best in the world. Greg Hamilton does introduce the Miz next, and out he comes. He makes his way to the ring and enters it, and poses for the fans. The bell sounded, and here we go. Back and forth to start. Kayla watched Hardy slams Miz's into turnbuckles and chant "delete!" after turning it crowd. Miz drops Hardy with a kick to the face. Miz drives a knee to the spine and keeps Jeff down. Miz with an inverted DDT and covers him for two counts. Miz keeps control of Jeff and then takes him to the corner.
Miz with a corner dropkicks. Hardy turns it around, hits some of his signature moves, and then covers him for two counts. Miz blocks Twist of fate but Hardy elbows him. Hardy nails him a whisper in the wind, and another two counts. There is more back and forth between them until Miz goes for the figure four -leglock, but Hardy rolls him up for two counts. Hardy tosses Miz through the ropes to the floor. Hardy walks the barricade and clotheslines Miz on the floor. Hardy brings it back in and goes to the top, but Miz rolls out of the way.
Hardy steps down to the mat, and Miz sucker him in for a roll-up, but Hardy kicks out. Hardy rolls Miz up for two counts now. Miz blocks another twist of fate. Miz hits a Skull -crushing finale, roll him over and cover for the win to advance.
After the match, Miz stands tall and raises his arms, as a replay is shown. Then, Miz heads up the ramp and stops to look back at Hardy, who is still down on the mat. Miz vs. Mysterio is confirmed for later in the night. Back to commercials, we go. Back from the break, Greg Hamilton introduces WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, who comes out and heads to the ring, followed by Bobby Lashley with Lio Rush.
Lio Rush does his things talking about Bobby Lashley as they head to the ring. Once Bobby Lashley was in the ring, and the bell sounded, there was nonstop action throughout the match until Seth Rollins finish off Bobby Lashley to advance. Byron Saxton is backstage with WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, who says, "He will prove he's still the best in the world tonight. It's true; it's damn true."
Back to the ring, we go for the final match of the first-round World Cup. Greg Hamilton does the introduction for the WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. He comes out as Red, White, and Blue fireworks go off around the Stadium. Out next comes Dolph Ziggler with Drew McIntyre. We get the sidebar of Dolph and McIntyre backstage earlier in the day. Dolph said, "The Cup is coming home with the true best in the world."
The bell sounded, and here we go. There was nonstop action throughout the match until Ziggler nails the Zig-Zag for the win to advance. Back to the commercial; as Vicky and Katy coming running to the bedroom
"Daddy wrestled mommy," Vicky and Kathy said together
"Good morning, and yes, daddy wrestled already," she said
"No, fair mommy," Kathy said.
"Sorry, pumpkin," she said, getting up from the bed and walk around to where there are.
"Did daddy win, mommy?" Vicky asked
"Yes, baby, daddy, won his match. Now how about some breakfast before I take you too to school."
"Okay, mommy," she said, walking out of the bedroom with mommy and Kathy.
They head downstairs and then toward the kitchen inside, where Kayla turns the TV and puts on the Crown Jewel so that Vicky and Kathy can be watched while she cooks breakfast. As she cooks breakfast, Mike appears on the TV, and the girls squeal seeing their dad. Byron Saxton interviews him backstage, and his voice is really gravelly from legitimately getting mule kicked in the throat by Jeff Hardy.
Miz said, "He will prove he's the best in the world."
Miz walks off and back to the entrance where Miz's music hits, and he makes his entrance as Byron Saxton interviews Rey Mysterio next.
Rey Mysterio said, "He isn't going to make excuses for having to work injured. Mysterio will be considered the best in the world."
He walked off back to the ring where the Miz is waiting for him. Rey Mysterio makes his way to the ring. Rey Mysterio enters the ring and poses for the fans on the second ropes as Miz watched him outside the ring. The bell sound, and Mysterio elbows Miz. Mysterio goes for the sunset flip and a kick, but Miz ducks it. Mysterio eventually connects with it for one count. Miz tries to slide him out of the ring sternum-first to the floor, but he lands on his feet. Miz slides out, but Mysterio gets in and dropkicks him down. Mysterio then slides out of the ring with a splash.
Mysterio immediately grabs his injured ribs and tries to walk off the pain. Mysterio gets him in the ring and does the 10 punches. Mysterio charges him, but Miz counters into an alley-oop. Miz shoulders the injured ribs in the corner before covering him for a two count. Miz then applies a bow and arrow stretch, and Rey Mysterio screams out in some pain, but he doesn't give up. Somehow Rey Mysterio counters into a roll-up for a two count. Miz quickly takes him down with a shot to the ribs, and he is thinking about what other kind of submission move to work over Mysterio's injured ribs. Miz then applies a body scissor, and Rey is more pain as Miz applies the pressure to his injury ribs area. Mysterio fights out, but Miz slides him out of the ring sternum-first to the floor.
Miz droves, then him ribs-first into the apron and then the barricade. Miz gets him back into the ring, slide in and cover him for a near fall. Miz now applies an abdominal stretch, Mysterio tries to fight up, but Miz scoops him up. Mysterio then counters the scoop slam into DDT.
"Come on, daddy," Kathy said, as Miz and Mysterio takes their time getting to their feet.
Once they both up there began to trade exchanges punches in the middle of the ring. Miz shoves him away, and Mysterio hits a springboard cross-body for a near fall. Miz had kicked out at two and a half counts. But Mysterio couldn't believe it. Rey Mysterio kicks him in the chest before hitting a hurricanrana. Rey Mysterio goes to the apron, slingshots over him, and then hits a head-scissor into the turnbuckles. Mysterio then hits another head-scissor into the middle rope. Mysterio goes for a 619, but Miz counters into snake eyes on the top rope. Miz follows up with Skull-Crushing Finale, rolls him over, and then covers him for a near fall!
Miz nails the IT Kicks, but Rey Mysterio ducks the big one. Rey Mysterio rolls him up with the same roll-up to Randy Orton, but Miz manages to kick out. Miz quickly knocks him into the middle rope and hits a 619. Mysterio goes for a frog splash, but Miz gets the knees up and covers him for the win. The Miz advances to the finals of the WWE World Cup Tournament to determine the best in the world.
"Yeah, daddy won," Kathy said, clapping hands together.
"Mommy, that means daddy has another match, right?" Vicky asked
"Yes, baby, but you and Kathy will be at school."
"No, mommy, no school, I want to see daddy wrestled," Kathy said.
Kayla looked at her and said, "Excuse me. You do not make demands, Katherine Elizabeth Mizanin. You need to go to school."
"But, mommy, daddy is wrestled again," she said.
"You are going to school, Katherine Elizabeth," she said turned off the TV.
Vicky knows that mommy was not happy with Kathy. They finished breakfast and then left the table to get ready for school. After getting ready for school, they walk out of the house and get into the Mercedes Benz that Mike brought her. Kayla buckled Kathy into her carseat, and then she buckled Vicky into her carseat next. She closed the door, opened the door behind the wheel, and pulled the door close. She buckled her seatbelt, then slid the key into the ignition turned it to starts the engine.
A few minutes later, she drove down the circular driveway toward the iron gates that open and then drove out sped off toward the Greenwich Catholic School. Twenty minutes later, Kayla pulls up to the Greenwich Catholic School, and she turns the key, shutting off the engine, and pulls it out. She unbuckled her seatbelt, then opens the door and step out of the car. She closed the door and then opened the door, took Kathy out of the carseat, closed the door, walked around the car, and placed her on her feet. Next, she opened the door lean inside, took Vicky out of her carseat, and grabbed their schoolbag. She placed Vicky on her feet and then close the door and set the alarm. Then they walked toward the school and went inside the school. Next, they walked toward Kathy's classroom; when they arrived there went inside, and Mrs. Matthews smile, watching Kayla Mizanin saying bye to her daughter.
"Bye Kathy, and you have a good day," she said, handled her schoolbag.
"I will, Mommy," she said, kissing her.
"I love you," she said, kissing her on the cheek.
"I love you too, mommy," she said
"Bye, Kathy loves you," Vicky said.
"Bye Vicky, love you, too," she said.
Kayla and Vicky walked out of the classroom and heads for her classroom next. When they arrived, Kayla leans down and kiss Vicky on the cheek.
"Bye, pebble, have a good day in school," she said.
"I will, Mommy, love you," she said.
"I love you too, baby," she said handled her schoolbag.
Vicky walks into the classroom while Kayla walks away from the classroom and heads for the exit. She exited the school walk to her car, and she pulls the keys out, pressed a button, turned off the alarm, and unlocked the door. She opens the door, gets in behind the wheel, and pulls the door closed. She buckled her seatbelt and slid the key into the ignition turned it to start the engine. She pulled away from the school and sped off toward home. Twenty minutes later, she arrived back home and turned into the driveway; the iron gates open, and she drove through them up the circular driveway to the house where she came to sop and turn the key, shutting off the engine.
She unbuckled her seatbelt open nth door, stepped out of the car, closed the door behind her, walked toward the house, and pulled out the house keys. She slid the key into the lock, turns it unlocking the door, opens the door and step inside the house, close the door behind her, and relocked it. She walked toward the living room and went inside to see her baby boy in his swing.
She walked over and lean down said, "Hi, Michael." He moved his head. Kayla smiles, and she kissed him. After that, she stood up, sat down on the couch, grabbed her iPad, turned it on, went to the WWE Network, and watched WWE Crown Jewel. She watched the match for the vacant WWE Universal Championship. There was nonstop action throughout the match until Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman got disqualified, which means neither man is the Universal Champion.
Brock wasn't happy neither was Braun. A video for Survivor Series is shown, and then Shane McMahon enters ringside to watch the finals of the WWE World Cup Tournament. The referee demands Drew McIntyre leave the ringside arena as The Miz attacks Dolph Ziggler and throws him out of the ring before the match begins. Miz began to goes to work on Ziggler outside of the ring and then tossed him back into the ring, slid in, after him and continues to work him over. Somehow, Ziggler connects with Zig Zag; cover him, but Miz kicks out at the last split second. Ziggler was in shock, then began to argue with the referee about his count. He starts to punches away at him, but Miz connects with Skull-Crushing Finale, rolls him over, and covers him for the win. Miz celebrates with the WWE World Cup Trophy. Kayla smile watching her husband celebrating as WWE Crown Jewel went off the air.
