T4: Family Talk.
Later, after Lulu got her and Rocco's luggage out of their rented car and took it upstairs to one of the house's guest-rooms where she would be sleeping, she and the rest of the family were in the living-room chatting with each other. Olivia, Lulu, Alice, Cameron-holding Mickey-and Monica sat on the sofa, with Leo sitting on the left arm of the sofa, with all four women each holding a fancy glass of sparkling grape juice.
Rocco, meanwhile, was sitting at a desk, playing a game on his smart-phone.
"The food smells incredible." Lulu said.
"Oh, thank you, honey, i'm hoping it's gonna taste just as wonderful." Olivia said.
"You're attempting an "I-HOP free" Thanksgiving this year?" Brooklynn asked. Wanting to help the less fortunate, Monica had donated the Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless shelter last year, so the family had to order food from I-HOP.
"Liv is not just attempting it, she's doing it." Ned said.
"Thanksgiving's not here yet, Dad." Brooklynn said.
"Are Dakota and Sophie coming?" Leo asked, to his 11 and 6-year old cousins.
"Not this year. Their parents are taking them to see the Thanksgiving parade at Disney World in Orlando, Florida." Monica answered.
"I thought they were staying at home in Ohio for Thanksgiving." Alice said.
"Well, they're still gonna do that, but Jared said he and Kelly didn't want the kids to be alone on Thanksgiving break, so they decided to spend half of it at Disney World surrounded by a lot of people and then return home to Ohio the day before Thanksgiving." Monica explained, referring to Dakota and Sophie's parents as Jared and Kelly.
"Wait. Jared Morris as Disney World?" Lulu said.
"Can you just picture it?" Monica asked.
"No." Ned, Bill, Tracy and Skye said.
"But Sophie was so excited and Jared wanted it to be a very special time." Monica said.
"Awww." Alice and Lulu said.
"So Leo, what did you do today?" Lulu asked.
"Not much. Helped Mom decorate." Leo said.
"And you did a wonderful job." Monica said.
"Yes, you did, honey." Olivia added.
"So Lulu...how 'bout you and Rocco? What did you do?" Bill asked.
"Uh...Rocco, off the phone. Come here, please." Lulu said, looking over at Rocco.
Rocco put his smart-phone in his right pants pocket and ran over to the sofa and sat by his mother, Lulu.
"We"..." Lulu began. "What did we do today?" She asked, looking at Rocco. "We went to Grangeville Thanksgiving parade, right?"
"It was awesome." Rocco said.
"Sounds awesome. So what was your favorite part?" Ned asked.
"The marching-band was cool. But what i liked most was hanging out with Mr. Dustin Ellison. I got to sit on his shoulders and he had his arms around Mom and was hugging her." Rocco said.
Lulu looked at Rocco with a smile on her face, but Cameron could see it was just a mask to hide how she really felt. What was wrong with his aunt? Who was this Dustin Ellison guy? Why was he with her and Rocco at the parade? And why did his uncle in-law Dante decide to stay home this Thanksgiving and not come with Lulu and Rocco? What was going on with the Finley family?
