Thanksgiving: The Fox And The Boy

While on Thanksgiving vacation with the family at his Grandmother's house in Grangeville, Idaho, Cameron, his pup, Mickey, and his two cousins encounter a boy who has run away from home with his pet Fox to keep it from being killed and made into a Thanksgiving meal by his stepfather, the sheriff. And they soon find themselves hiding the boy and fox out at Cam's Grandma's place.

7. T6: Cousin Rivalry

T6: Cousin Rivalry.

"What brings you here?" Lulu asked, standing at the bottom of the porch-steps behind Brooklynn.

"Thanksgiving with the family." Brooklynn answered.

"Are you staying long?" Lulu asked.

Brooklynn turned to face Lulu. "You sick of me already?"

"No, i'm just curious." Lulu said.

"So, uh, Dustin Ellison? Is he your boyfriend or something? Does Dante know you're stepping out on him this year or is he in the dark?" Brooklynn asked.

"You could not possibly be judging me." Lulu said.

"I'm just pointing out that Dante is, like, the most decent guy in the history of the world." Brooklynn said.

"Yes. He is a decent man. Like i said in there, he and Dustin work together. He knew he would be working this Thanksgiving, and he didn't want me and Rocco to travel alone, so he asked Dustin to go with us in his place and spend the holidays with us and the rest of the family." Lulu said.

"The poor man is back home in Florida working, and here you are several states over with another guy. Oops! Sorry, i guess i forgot who i was talking to. Typical Lulu Finley." Brooklynn said.

"You have no idea what you're talking about. You weren't there." Lulu said.

"Well, i'm here now." Brooklynn said.

"Lucky...us." Lulu said sarcastically.
