T16: Breakfast.
November 25th, (2024)
The next morning, the family and Dustin were all in the dining-room in their pajamas and house shoes, sitting at the dinner table, eating catered breakfast from I-HOP Monica had ordered. The food was that pancakes stacked on top of each other with syrup, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, waffles, grits, hashbrowns, sausage and powdered funnel-cakes, and the drinks were glasses of orange juice.
Mickey, meanwhile, stood on the floor, eating bacon out of his red dog-bowl.
Cameron, Leo and Rocco were just looking down at the food on their plates as they sat next to each other at the right end of the table on the right side.
"Something wrong with the breakfast?" Monica asked the boys, sitting at the left end of the table.
"Uh, no, Mom and Dad i stopped by the I-HOP yesterday before we came here. I don't know why." Leo said. The truth was he, Cameron and Rocco felt really guilty for eating dinner with the family last night, knowing that Will was in the backyard in the tree-house away from his family, with nothing to eat himself.
"Me too." Rocco added.
"It's delicious, Mom." Bill said.
"Thank you, sweetie." Monica said.
Cameron picked up his glass of orange juice and began drinking it. But as he drank it, he looked out the open dining-room door and saw Will walking into the living-room, making him choke on his orange juice.
Rocco and Leo took notice of this as well, as did Mickey.
"Cameron, are you alright?" Alice asked.
Cameron placed his glass back on the table. "Yeah, i'm fine, it's just...the orange juice."
"What about the orange juice?" Monica asked.
"It went down the wrong way." Cameron answered.
"Oh, well, let me get you some water then." Said Monica proceeding to get out of her seat.
Rocco then banged his fists on the table, making Monica stop and everyone else at the table flinch.
"Sorry. Muscle spasm." Rocco said.
Cameron looked out the door to see Will exit the living-room with a paper bowl of green grapes and head for the part of the house where the back door was.
"It's okay, everyone, it's just a muscle spasm." Lulu assured.
"Grandma?" Cameron said.
"Yes, Cameron, what is it?" Monica asked.
"Can Leo, Rocco, Mickey and i go outside in the backyard when we're finished eating? I wanna play in the tree-house." Cameron said.
"Sure. But finish your breakfast first." Monica said.
"Okay. Thanks." Cameron said before he, Leo and Rocco began eating their breakfast.
