T17: Breakfast Ends.

The family sat at the table with their plates and glasses now empty, having eaten breakfast and drunken their orange juice. Lulu and Dustin had left the dining-room after finishing their breakfast and had gone back upstairs to their rooms.

There was one funnel-cake left on the plate reserved for Lulu.

"Great breakfast, Grandma." Cameron said.

"Thanks, sweetie." Monica said.

"See you after we come in from outside." Cameron said before he, Rocco and Leo got out of their seats and ran out of the dining-room, with Mickey following, to head upstairs to their rooms and get dressed and then head outside in the backyard.

"What a beautiful day." Said Lulu as she came back into the dining-room, wearing orange lipstick, orange eyeshadow, a short orange quarter-length-sleeve dress and orange sequin high heel shoes.

"Well, hello again, Lulu. I saved the last of your favorite dessert for you: Funnel-cake." Monica said.

"Oh, thanks, Monica, but i'm trying to stay thin. I'll just grab an apple from the kitchen. I'm watching my figure these days." Lulu said.

"What are you all dressed up for?" Alice asked.

"Nothing, Alice. Just a day out on the town with Dustin. Sight-seeing around Grangeville for four hours, listening to music on the radio and talking to each other." Lulu explained.

"Mm-hm." Brooklynn said.

"When you use to go on sight-seeings here with Dante, you always wore regular out-door clothes." Olivia said.

"Well, Dustin has made me realize that everyone should always look their best." Lulu said.

"Oh, i'm sure Dustin always looks his best." Skye said.

"Yeah. And such good company too. We have so much in common." Lulu said.

"Like what?" Bill asked.

"Well, we're both into physical appearance." Lulu said.

"Does Rocco like him?" Ned asked.

"Oh, he loves him. He's a great friend to have around this Thanksgiving." Lulu said.

"Oh, we realized how friendly he was the minute Rocco started talking about the two of you yesterday." Brooklynn said.

"Now, Brooklynn, that was an uncalled-for remark. Now just because a guy happens to be good-looking does not mean that he can't be friends with a married woman." Lulu said.

"So you've noticed he's good-looking?" Tracy asked.

"It's kind of hard to miss. Also, i'm a reporter. We are trained to notice everything." Lulu said.

"Quit it, you guys. I'm happy Lulu has a good friend-relationship with Dustin." Olivia said.

"Oh, thank you, Olivia." Lulu said. "Dustin and just two people hanging out with each other. When i look at him, all i see is a friend. They way i feel about Dustin is pure friendship. Bye the way...does this dress make me look thinner?"

"Yeah. I can hardly see you." Olivia said.

"Thanks. Bye." Lulu said before exiting the dining-room.

Brooklynn and Skye then looked at Olivia.

"What?" Olivia asked.

"Oh, nothing. I mean...just because Lulu is gonna be spending all that time riding around town with that hotter younger man...no reason for you to worry." Brooklynn said.

"I'm not worried." Olivia said.

"Of course not, why should you be? I mean, for any normal woman, this would be an incredibly hard thing to resist. Fortunately, we're talking about Lulu." Brooklynn said.

"Thank goodness there were no guy-friends in my life when my husband, Tom, was living." Skye said.

"Skye?" Olivia said.

"Hm?" Skye asked.

"I trust Lulu." Olivia said.

"Sure you do, Liv. I trusted my husband, Tom, with other women. He was a good man. And Lulu's a good woman. But we don't know anything about Dustin. He may be a love-crazed maniac." Skye said.
