A/N: Hey there, AntiHero here! Sure, has been a while huh? Sorry about that; it's just that ever since I started school again, I've had less time to think about my fanfic and it stops me from writing more chapters since I can't figure out how to continue them. So now I'm trying to squeeze whatever ideas I can come up with as an attempt to get over this writer's block. Anyway, you all should know that I'm still working on my stories, and I haven't stopped yet, just might a lot of time to come up with new chapters. But enough of that, it's time to get back to Black Fairy!

Chapter 6 – The Power of Mortals
After escaping Erigor's wind barrier thanks to Lucy's new spirit Virgo, the wizards of Fairy Tale were driving along the train tack in the magic mobile to catch up with their comrade as well as find help for the injured Kageyama. Erza sat at the driver's seat with Emily next to her while inside the vehicle Lucy, Neb and Gwen sat on one side, Gray and Kageyama sat on the other. "So, tell me, why are you taking me you with?" the shadow mage questioned.
"Because you obviously need a doctor; and since everyone left town you'll have to see on in Clover." Lucy answered. "Try to show some gratitude,"
"I don't understand, why are you helping me? We're enemies." Kageyama asked again and received a glare from the celestial mage. "Wait I get it; you're taking me hostage so you can make a deal with the Master and Erigor. Well, you can forget it, they could care less about me."
"Jeez lighten up dude." Lucy muttered.
"If you wanna die we can make that happen." Gray said.
"Uh, he's kidding right?" Gwen asked.
"Chill Gray." Lucy said.
"There's a whole lot more to this world than life and death." the Ice mage advised getting the Shadow mage's attention. "You should try to look for the positive. You and your Eisenwald pals."
"If you don't mind me asking, what happened to the four mage's Master Drakken left at Kunugi Station?" Kageyama inquired.
"Gwen and Emily kicked their butts!" Neb said.
"You're kidding me! You and that other bimbo beat out guild's top wizards?" Kage asked Gwen.
"W-W we did have some help from those officers of the Council." Gwen admitted. Before anyone could say more the mobile tilted causing everyone to jump.
"What happened?" Gray asked.
"It's okay. Everything's fine now." Erza assured them though it was clear she was exaggerating a bit. "My vision is getting blurry; I must've used more magic than I thought. Natsu, you have to stop those Eisenwald mages, it's all up to you now. Please don't let me down."
"Erza, you look exhausted. Why don't you let me take over so you can reserve your strength," Emily suggested. The redhead agreed and placed the SC plug on the Dragon Slayer; the vehicle stopped for a bit but then started again moving slightly faster than before.
"Emily, may I ask you something?" Erza inquired.
"What is it?" Emily asked.
"It's about this Black, can we really trust that he'll help us stop Eisenwald?" Erza questioned.
Emily thought for a moment before answering "I know he seems a bit arrogant and vicious, but I can feel that he's got good intentions. Honestly, he sometimes scares me too but if we show him that we can be trusted he'll open up to us."
"I'm still not sure if he's reliable," Erza commented. "How do we know that he won't flee if his opponent proves too powerful or that he won't join the enemy?"
"Trust me, he won't do that at all. Black's not interested in joining lowly humans," Emily joked. "And he's not the kind of guy to run from a fight."
"For our sake, I hope you're right." Erza muttered.
On the cliff beside the train track, Black takes a stance as he prepares to face his opponent in the second round. "What are you waiting for human? Show me what you can do?"
"As you wish," Drakken complied. The dark mage placed his hand on the floor, activating his ignition floor. Black jumped back to evade it, leaving himself open to an attack; Drakken rushes at the Kai with his fist coated in the klangite from before and threw a punch. Black deflects it and throws Drakken over his shoulder. Eisenwald's master lands on his feet and conjures a magic circle right above Black, letting it rain down lightning onto the False Saiyan, paralyzing him in place. Drakken then starts punching him rapidly before Black creates a Ki barrier around his body, pushes the mage back and destroys the magic circle to free himself.
Black flexes as he drops his barrier. "Not bad, but if that's the best you can do with your new power than you're only wasting my time."
"Sorry about that, I'm still getting used to this power." Drakken replied.
"Really, then let me help master it faster," Black said as he rushed at his adversary. Drakken puts up a diamond shield as Black throws multiple punches and kicks at him; the shield soon shattered and Drakken jumps back to gain some distance. "You're finished mortal! Kamehameha!" he fires the turtle school's signature technique at the dark mage; it collides with Drakken's chest before being sucked into his body. "Damnit!"
"Someone's a slow learner. My Overdrive state is still active, whatever those energy attacks are I can now absorb them into my very being." Drakken says. "You'll never be able to kill me with those."
"Who said that was meant to kill you?" Black asked as he formed his Ki blade and then rushes at the Eisenwald Master.
"I already told you, your attacks won't affect me!" Drakken yells. The Kai ignores him and manages to cut his arm. "Argh! That…that hurt. But how?" he then looks to see Black laughing darkly. "What did you do?"
"The arrogance and stupidity of humans will always be one of their greatest flaws." Black states. "First, that energy that made you stronger is known as Ki; the last attack that you absorbed was the same. However, there's more than one type of Ki."
"What?" Drakken asked.
"The Ki I used til now was just the basic life energy that all living creatures have, but what I just to cut you was Divine Ki." Black explained. "It's higher form of energy that only deities have access to."
"You, you were just testing me! You tricked me into taking that last attack just to test out your theory." Drakken yelled.
"How perceptive. Looks like you can't absorb this godly power which means," Black smirked as he held up his blade. "I have the perfect weapon to kill you with." The Supreme Kai rushed at the dark mage again and tried to stab with his god slicer. Though Drakken was able to evade the strikes he was still cut more than a few times before finally gaining some distance; he then placed his hands om the ground and made another magic circle. A giant hand made of earth burst out of the circle and punched the false Saiyan into the ground. "So, you still have some tricks left," the Kai said as he was pinned to the ground. Black placed two fingers on his forehead, using his instant transmission technique to appear behind Drakken. Before the Master of Eisenwald could react, Black used a kiai to blow the giant fist to pieces. "Anymore tricks you wanna pull human?"
"Just this one and this time, I'm pulling out the stops!" Drakken exclaimed as he raised his hands and a circle formed above him. Numerous minerals started flying around him before coming together and forming a giant mech with the dark mage right in the center of it. "This is my ultimate spell! Union Armado!"
"Really? Then this should be very entertaining," Black mused as he increased the length of his Ki blade.
"How's this for entertainment?!" Drakken asked as he raised his right hand, unleashing a torrent of flames at the Kai. Black easily evaded by flying up into the sky; Drakken continued his assault by using his left hand to shoot a bolt of lightning. Black flew across the battlefield, dodging every single one of Drakken's spells. "Glia Tar Tsunami!" The mech stomps its foot on the ground, summoning an enormous wave of black liquid to attack the False Saiyan who counter by using a kiai to disperse the wave. "You can't run forever!" Drakken roared as he slammed his fist into the ground, creating multiple diamonds shards to grow out of the soil as it chased after the Supreme Kai.
The diamonds soon cut off Black's path and he was soon completely consumed by them. "Why would I ever run from a mortal?!" he replied as he swung his blade severing every diamond before flying right towards the dark alchemist. "Get ready mage, now you'll taste my blade!" The Kai of Universe 10 swung his blade around a few times, hurling multiple blades of the same energy to impale the arms, legs, chest and head of Drakken's mech; Black ends his swings, and the Union Armado immediately explodes, consuming the dark mage. As the smoke clears Drakken falls from the sky onto the ground. "Well, that wasn't as entertaining as I hoped, but what can you expect when it comes to lowly mortals," the Kai mutters as he descends to the ground. Drakken tries to get up but is quickly pinned down by the Saiyan Imposter. "As amusing as it is to see a mortal cling to life, I've grown bored of this game." Black raises his blade at the dark mage. "This time you'll die for sure!" Black impales Drakken who cries out in agony. "Ah, the sound of human despair, what a delightful sound." Black then raises an eyebrow when he notices Drakken smirking at him. "What could you possibly be smiling about when you're about to die?"
Instead of answering Drakken grabs Goku Black's arm and the two of them are enveloped a white aura. "Yes, I can feel it! Your power filling my veins! Burning inside me!" the alchemist exclaimed with joy. The White aura started to flow into the mage and his body began to expand; Drakken let go of the Saiyan as he grew to an enormous height. His form then changed into that of a monstrous ape with sharp fangs and red eyes of rage.
"What is this?!" Black questioned. Drakken only answered by grabbing the Kai and throwing him into a rock. Black quickly got up as his opponent towered over him.
"I WASN'T SURE THAT WOULD WORK, BUT IT LOOK LIKE LUCK IS ON MY SIDE!" Drakken states.
"What have you done human? Tell me!" Black demands.
"GLADLY. WHEN YOU STABBED ME, I USED EVERY OUNCE STRENGTH I HAD TO DRAW IN THE ENERGY SOURCE MY OVERDRIVE ADSORBED FROM YOU EARLIER AND PULLED IT INTO MY BODY." Drakken explained. "I HAD TO CAREFUL NOT DRAW IN ANY OF YOUR DIVINE ENERGY OR I MIGHT'VE KILLED MYSELF, AS YOU CAN SEE, I WAS QUITE SUCCESSFUL!"
Black sneered at his enemy. "You filthy mortal, you've chosen to defy the gods in a truly despicable way. You've stolen my sacred power and dare to use it against me, now I will not rest until I've dealt with you the fitting punishment for your crimes!"
"YOU'RE MISTAKEN MY FRIEND, THE ONLY ONE WHO WILL RECEIVE PUNISHMENT IS YOU." Drakken declared as he raised his giant fist. "AND THE GOD TO EXECUTE IT…IS ME!" The giant ape slammed its fist, but Black dodged it.
"We'll see about that!" Black said as he flew in-between Drakken's legs to his back and blasted him four times. To his surprise, the dark mage was unfazed by the attack. "No effect at all,"
"HA! THAT WON'T ON ME ANYMORE PUNY GOD!" Drakken yelled as he tried to swat the Kai. Black dodged him and fire more energy blasts; with every attack the beast only grew more irritated and tried to grab his foe, but the Kai though confused easily dodged him. "ARE YOU DESPERATE THAT YOU RESORT TO HITTING WITH THESE BUG BITES?!"
"Something's wrong, my energy reserves are getting low but how can that be?" Black pondered. "I know where my basic Ki went, but what about the god Ki? This mortal didn't absorb it, so where did it go?" The answer soon hit the Supreme Kai almost as hard as Drakken's fist when it struck him out of the sky. "Trunks! That Saiyan's strange sword must've done more to me than I realized. I've lost a large portion of the God Ki I had as a Kai. If I run out, it may not be so easy to get back while I'm stuck in this world." Black got up and dodged another attack from his adversary. Black then flies up and kicks it in the side, Drakken staggered a bit but was not damaged and retaliated by swinging his fist at the Kai. Black sped to Drakken's face and fired two energy blast before using his god slicer to cut an X on his chest.
"I TOLD YOU, THAT'S NOT GOING TO BE ENOUGH TO STOP ME AGAIN!" Drakken roared as he punched the Kai away.
Black caught himself in mid-air and cupped his hands other. "Let's see if this will be enough! KA…ME…HA…ME…" a black sphere formed in his hands as he focused his divine energy. "HAAA!" The Turtle Devastation Wave was launched at the dark alchemist, nailing him right in the face pushing his head back and chin up. After a few seconds, Drakken lowered his head as though even that attack did nothing to him. "Dammit! How could I allow a lowly mortal to push me like this again?" Black revved up his Ki and flew to attack the giant beast. Before he could reach him, Drakken opened his jaw and let out a bloodcurdling roar that stopped Black in his tracks and threw backwards into a large rock that immediately crumbled upon his impact.
On the train track right beside them, the mages of Fairy Tail were driving to Clover town when they heard the dreadful noise that even shook their vehicle. "What the heck was that noise?!" Gray questioned.
"It sounds like a monster!" Lucy cried.
"Look over there!" Gwen points to cliff. "Something's up there!"
The Fairies stop the magic mobile and look over to see Drakken's monstrous form as it roars and beats its chest. "What is that thing?!" Emily asked.
"Whatever it is, let's get out of here before it sees us!" Neb suggested.
"Aye!" Happy agreed.
Just as Neb predicted, the beast glanced over and spot the mages; it then opens its jaw and starts to focus its energy to that single spot. "What's it doing?!" Gwen asked.
"I think it's about to attack us!" Erza guessed. "Emily, go!"
"Right!" the Dragon Slayer starts up their ride and drives off in a hurry. Drakken still prepares his attack as he aims at the moving targets.
"I think he's about to shoot!" Kageyama alerted them.
"We're not gonna make it!" Neb shouted.
"Don't say that cat!" Lucy yelled as she hugged Happy, and Gwen hugged Neb.
"Keep this thing going!" Erza instructed. The Fairy Queen forced herself to stand on top of the vehicle and turned to face the attack. She changed into a large armor donning two halves of a massive shield before putting them together. Just as Drakken was about to fire, Black burst out of the rubble with half his shirt torn off and socked the dark mage under his chin, forcing his upward and making him fire his attack right over the magic vehicle, missing his intended targets into a separate area where it made large explosion.
"Rule number one, never take your eyes off a god in battle! Rule number two, never stop til I'm dead or you're dead!" Black said as he formed his Sickle of Sorrow and rushed to attack.
"WHY YOU LITTLE PEST!" Drakken roared as he grabs the Kai's weapon, crushed and tossed him aside.
"Did that monster just talk?" Lucy asked.
"Who cares? Let's just be glad that he missed." Happy said.
"But why? What saved us?" Gray asked.
Gwen looked back and saw her new mentor shooting at the monster. "It's Black! He's with that monster!"
"Black's fighting that thing?!" Emily inquired as she stopped the car. "We have to help him!"
"Are you crazy?! We've never be able to take that thing!" Neb shouted.
"He's right, Whatever trouble Black has gotten himself into he'll have to handle it alone." Erza said.
"But he just saved us. We can't just leave him!" Gwen argued.
"We have to stop Erigor and Drakken from using Lullaby on the Guild Masters, that idiot Natsu needs our help more than does Black does." Gray said.
"Emily, drive." Erza ordered.
"But…" Emily said but couldn't finish.
"Don't worry, if your friend is as strong as he claims than he will be fine." Erza assured. "Right now, we have to get to Natsu and assist him."
Emily's hand twitched from hesitation before she pushed down the lever and keep going to their destination. "Big Sis…" Gwen said.
"Oni-Chan will be fine. He's super strong, he can handle it." Emily assured.
As Black continued to fire pot shots at his enormous adversary he spotted the group of mages he inadvertently saved driving away from his location. "Lowly mortals, can't even bother to aid a god in his time of need." He muttered before he was struck by one of Drakken's fist. "What am I saying? I have no need for those pathetic creatures, I have this abomination right where I want him!" Black got up and charge at his opponent. Drakken opened his mouth and lets out a stream of flames, Goku Black crosses his arms in defense as he's consumed by the flames. When it passed, the Kai was smoking and his top Gi was burned to ashes. "How dare you scorch my clothing? You'll will pay for this transgression!"
Drakken smirks and jumps over to the Saiyan Imposter. Before the monster managed to grab him, Black put up an energy shield. Drakken caught the barrier in his palms and began to apply pressure to it. Black held out his hands as he struggled to maintain the force field. His barrier started to crack the longer Drakken attempted to close his hands; eventually the barrier shattered, and the giant beast managed to grab hold of the former Zamas. "I CAN'T BELIEVE SUCH A POWER LIKE THIS EXISTED AND I NEVER KNEW OF IT! FORGET LULLABY, WITH THIS POWER I COULD WIPE OUT ALL OF THE GUILDS IN AN INSTANT!"
"Once again I am shown an example of a god granting incredible power to a lowly mortal and the only thing you can think of doing with it is causing destruction to your own world!" Black grunted as he squirmed. "It sickens me that my powers could be stolen by such an ugly creature, especially a human the ugliest of all mortal kind."
"OH, I'M SORRY FOR BEING SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT GREAT LORD BUT I CAN'T HELP IT! I'M A TERRIBLE SINNER! AND I YET HAVE SO MUCH TO THANK YOU FOR!" Drakken said mockingly.
"You dare to mock me mortal! You think you have me cornered?!" Black yelled. "Your arrogance will be your downfall! I promise when get out of this, I'll send you to HFIL!" Black swore. He then managed pull out his arm and fired a Ki blast at Drakken's face.
The Dark Alchemist wasn't fazed by his desperate attempt. "I wonder where little lords go when they die? Let's find out, shall we?" He then started to squeeze the Supreme Kai making him cry out in agony. At some point, Black blacked out and his time ring began to glow as he started having visions. He suddenly in a rocky environment where he saw a great ape in Saiyan armor chasing after a younger Goku; After using the Sun technique to blind the Oozaru, Goku used the Kaio-ken to get away and then started gathering energy for the Spirit Bomb.
"What is this? Is this…Goku's life?" Black questioned. "Why am I seeing this?" He then noticed his time ring glowing before he sees another scene of Tien using the Multi-Form technique and Goku using the Afterimage technique. "I understand. The Time Ring is showing me visions of the past events, giving the knowledge I need to end this fight." The final scene was one of him merged with his counterpart using the Blades of Judgement. Black was then snapped back to reality where Drakken had paused on his attempt to crush him.
"AWW, STILL ALIVE, ARE WE? GOOD, I WAS AFRAID YOU HAD DIED BEFORE I COULD REALLY HAVE SOME FUN WITH YOU!" Drakken said.
"Oh, this will be fun mortal, count on it." Black said.
"AND WHAT'S THAT SUPPOST TO MEAN?" Drakken asked.
"I haven't used this technique ever since I became Gowasu's apprentice. I hope I still remember the basics," Black muttered. He then smirked and yelled "Kaio-ken!" His body started emitting a fiery red aura, the heat from his energy to burn Drakken's hand making him let go of him.
"SO, YOU STILL HAVE SOME FIGHT LEFT IN YOU," Drakken stated.
"Get ready mortal, your real judgement begins now," Black replied. He opened his palm and formed a red blade of Ki.
"THAT BLADE TRICK AGAIN? CAN'T YOU COME UP WITH ANYTHING NEW?" Drakken inquired.
"How's this?" Black asked as he impaled the giant with blade.
"I ALREADY TOLD YOU, THOSE ATTACKS WON'T AFFECT ME!" Drakken yelled.
"Wait for it," Black said.
After a few seconds the blade started to glow before detonating and taking Drakken's arm with it; he cried out for a few seconds before his arm reformed itself. "YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT TRICK!" He then ran to attack Black who only stood there smirking; when the beast reached out to grab him, its hand passed right through the Supreme Kai before he vanished. "WHAT?! WHERE'D HE GO?!"
"Did you appreciate that new trick?" Black called to his foe from behind him. "A shame that a God who stands as the apex of creation has to resort to fighting like a mortal just survive, but as they say, desperate times call desperate measures."
"I'VE HAD ENOUGH YOU! IT'S TIME TO CRUSH YOU LIKE THE INSECT DEITY YOU ARE!" Drakken roared.
"Then what are you waiting for?!" Black asked as he activated Kaio-ken again and created another Blade of Judgement. "Come and get me!" Drakken jumped to attack the Kai who used another afterimage to evade him while appearing behind and slash him with his blade, stunning him with an explosion. Black continued with this tactic for a while before Drakken managed to predict his move and counter by backhanding him to the ground; Black took a few deep breathes as Drakken approached him.
"DIVINE POWER RUNNING LOW MY LORD?" Drakken asked.
"Not even close! Kaio-ken times 2!" Black yelled raising his power level. He then held out his hands and used kiai to blow Drakken backwards; the giant grabbed onto the ground to anchor himself before slowly walking back to his enemy. Goku Black then raised his hands, using telekinesis to raise the rubble underneath the Alchemist and lift both into the air. Drakken unleashed his devasting roar that blasted Black back and freed him from the telekinetic control. Drakken then fires his mouth beam at the Saiyan Imposter who jumps to evade it while putting his hands to his face. "Solar Flare!" unleashing the Fist of the Sun in Drakken's face, making him cry out in anguish as he covered his eyes. Black then teleports behind him and raises one hand. "Disk of Judgement!" he forms another blade which then flattens and extends to a disk shape; he throws it, and it severs Drakken's body before exploding. When the dust clears, part of Drakken's body was blasted away but it quickly reformed itself.
"THAT'S IT! I'VE ALL I CAN TAKE FROM YOU!" Drakken shouted as he jumped and grabbed Black with both hands. A magic circle appeared in the sky right above his hands as did one on the ground underneath. "LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN! AND FIRE FROM HFIL! COME OUT AND UNLEASH YOUR WRATH!" Drakken cried out. "ETERNAL EXECUTION!" A rain of lightning fell from the sky as did a pillar of flames from the earth, both consuming the Kai while he was still in Drakken's grasp. When it was over, Drakken was unharmed as he let go of the False Saiyan who fell to the ground completely vaporized by the attack. "THIS FIGHT IS OVER!"
"For once…I agree with you mortal," Black muttered while grinning.
"WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SMILE ABOUT?!" Drakken questioned. "YOU'RE OUT OF POWER! IN A FEW SECONDS, YOU'LL BE SENT TO THE NEXT DIMENSION! SO WHY THE SMILE?!"
"I maybe out of power…but a god can easily just borrow some," Black answered as he pointed up. Drakken looked up and saw another Black holding his hands to the heavens and channeling energy.
"ANOTHER OPTICAL ILLUSION?!" Drakken assumed.
"Oh, that's not an illusion, he's as real as I am." Black promised. The other Black finally stopped gather energy and teleport to his other half; the two grasp hands, merging back into one Goku Black. "The Multi-Form allows me to create a replica of myself at the cost of reducing any power I have to half or lower depending on how many clones I produce. But with the Kaio-ken I could increase my strength and keep on fighting."
"NOT FOR LONG! YOU'RE STILL TOO WEAK TO ATTACK ME WITH ANYTHING THAT'LL DO ANY SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO ME LIKE THIS!" Drakken said.
"Mortals always fail to see the picture," Black said as he held up right hand and form an energy ball. "This is another technique I stopped using when my days as North Kai ended; it turns my stomach to know that it was this technique allowed Trunks to defeat me in the other-world or that I'm desperate enough to use it to defeat a mortal in this world!"
"AND WHAT'S THAT'S SUPPOST TO BE?!" the Alchemist questioned.
"This is the key to your defeat and my victory; it's called the Spirit Bomb!" Black answered. "A combination of this planet's energy into an attack meant to eradicate all evil."
"HA! JUST ANOTHER ENERGY ATTACK! THAT WON'T DO ANYMORE DAMAGE THAN ANY OF YOUR PREVIOUS ATTACKS!" Drakken laughed.
"Then I'm sure you have no reason not to take the attack…Drakken," Black mused.
"OH, I'LL TAKE IT! AND WHEN I SURVIVE UNSCATHED, I'LL FINISH YOU OFF ONCE AND FOR ALL!" Drakken promised.
"Well, here's hoping I at least tickle you with this," Black said as he prepared to throw the attack.
"BRING IT ON! I CAN TAKE ANYTHING YOU THROW AT ME!" Drakken yelled while crossing his arms. "THIS WON'T HURT ME, NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST! I'M INVINCIBLE!"
"Let's find out! It's time to judge your spirit!" Black declared as he hurled the spirit bomb at the Dark Alchemist. The ball soars through the air and nails Drakken right in the chest before erupting into a massive surge of Ki; it isn't long before Black hears Drakken's screams of absolute pain from being electrocuted by the Genki-Dama. The attack then shot itself higher into the heavens, taking the Dark Alchemist with it. After a few minutes, Drakken came falling back to the earth returned to his human form covered in cuts and bruises, landing right at Black's feet. "So, you're still alive huh,"
"W-What was that? W-What did you do?" Drakken asked weakly.
"It was a technique created by a deity known as North Kai; it's called the Spirit Bomb." Black answered. "It gathers energy from lifeforms and even the planet itself and condenses it into an attack. Your current state is proof that you're a prime example of the wickedness that is born of humanity."
"I-I don't understand what you're talking about," Drakken said.
"Then let me put to you in a way that your feeble mind and comprehend; that attack was meant to destroy all evil and is drawn to the negative energy in its target." Black explains. "If your heart was filled with any less darkness than mine, it would not have affected you."
Drakken glares at the Kai before chuckling "Well, I admit you defeated me, I don't even have the strength to get up; however, your attack failed to kill me and I'm not close to death just yet,"
"Really? Then I guess it's time to finish the cleansing," Black said as he aimed his hand at the mage.
Drakken just smirked. "Go ahead. Hit me with that energy blast like before; I might not be able to absorb it in this state," he goaded his enemy. "Or maybe you'll try to stab me with that blade again."
Black lowered his hand "I no longer have enough God Ki to produce an attack, I poured most of it into my last attack to ensure you would be affected." Black replied. "And I have no desire to let you absorb my energy again; even I can't kill you with energy attacks, I could easily strangle you to death."
"Can a high deity such as yourself stand laying their pure hands on a filthy mortal like me?" Drakken asked mockingly. "Then again, I could still extract your energy through physical contact. You sure you want to risk it?" Black growled but did not answer. "Face it, you have way of getting rid of me for good; you're only option is to let me go and hope I don't recover from this fight or decide to take my revenge on you, though I wouldn't count on it."
Black's Time Ring started glowing again and he was taken to another vision; this time he saw himself in his fusion form battling against Goku. The Monkey King dodged an attack from the merged Kai and appeared right in his face with his hand held out. "Sorry I gave this technique a bad name, Lord Beerus! But I'll be using it now!" the Saiyan apologized as he prepared his attack. "Destruction!" A purple-black wave of energy struck the Supreme Kai and his body slowly started to disintegrate.
"What is this? I don't recall our fight happening like this!" Black wondered. "And how can a mortal use the technique of a Destroyer? It's sacrilege!" Black then glances at his hand and begins to smirk. "But then if he can do it, so can I."
The vision ended and Black was returned to reality. "You're right mortal. I can't kill you…but I can erase you!"
"What?!" Drakken asked.
Black held out his hand and pointed it at Drakken's face. "Mortals are an ugly and foolish mistake that stain the majesty of the cosmos and humans are the worst of them all. Because you are the ugliest, I will sentence to the heaviest of punishments, a despair and defeat that befits your heinous crimes! Your kind is the infestation that plagues the beauty us gods created; to ensure this world's splendor will not fall ruin to your savagery, you must be terminated."
A dark purple aura surrounded Black, frightening the Dark Alchemist. "W-What are you doing?"
"This world will not mourn when you are gone!" Black declared. "Now disappear! Hakai!" the False Saiyan conjures a small purple black orb and hurls it at his target; it goes right into Drakken's chest, and he suddenly starts to break down into tiny particles of energy. The Eisenwald Guild Master screamed in agony as his body was completely wiped from existence. "Destruction, this is what awaits all mortal kind!" Black muttered as he lowered his hand and the dust of Drakken scattered and faded away. Black looked up and saw that the sky had The Kai then grasped his chest in pain as his muscles started twitching. "It's been a long time since I've felt pain that was self-inflicted. I can barely feel any of my God Ki," he thought. "Still, even though that mortal was despicable, he did provide me with a decent fight. I can only hope there are many more of these mages like him to exploit; speaking of which, I should check to see how miserably those Fairies have failed against their adversaries."
Black placed two fingers on his forehead and started channeling energy. "Interesting, the other mortal who escaped has a low energy signal; I believe Salamander was the one who went to fight him. Was he victorious? I sense that he and his comrades are together, let's find out what happened." The Kai then disappeared towards the Fairies' location.
In another location, an army of Fiore Soldiers were marching towards the town of Clover. "We have received reports that Eisenwald is planning to murder the Guild Masters at their conference in Clover! I won't let that happen on my watch! We have to stop them!" the Commander declared. "Let's show those wizards the might of the Fiore Army!"
"Yes sir!" his soldiers replied.
Hovering above and watching the army were the Dragon Slayers of the Council. "I know we're in a bit of a crisis, but did they really need to send the army?" Raina asked.
"I understand your frustration Chillwalker, but this is necessary." Julia replied. "The Council needs to display strength during these times."
"I thought we were that strength! We managed to take down four of Eisenwald's top wizards," Riana argued.
"Not without assistance," Julia pointed.
"They don't know that." Riana muttered before noticing her friend's guilty look. "You told them?!"
"You know I've never been one to like lying. Besides I just told them what happened." Julia said.
"This is why we leave the reports to me; for someone titled Novastar, you're not very bright at times." Riana stated.
"I resent that!" Julia said. "Anyway, let's just hurry up and get to Clover!"
"Yeah, yeah. Don't be such a hothead." Riana said as she flew off, leaving her partner to sigh and follow her.
In Clover, the Fairy Tail members had managed to get to the town and were hiding in the bushes where they could Kageyama about to play the Lullaby for their guild master; the dark mage held the flute to his mouth but seemed to hesitate in playing it as he remembered the affection the guild mages showed him. "There he is!" Gray exclaimed.
"Gramps!" Natsu yelled.
"Master!" Erza shouted.
"So that's our new guild master?" Emily whispered to her sister. "Doesn't look like much,"
"Shouldn't we help him then?" Gwen questioned.
"Shh! We're just about to get to the good part." A bald fat man in makeup appears behind the mages startling them. He then started fawning over the male fairies. "Well, aren't you boys yummy. So adorable."
"Who the heck is that guy?" Lucy asked as she, Emily and Gwen hid behind Erza.
"Master Bob," Titania answered.
"You're telling me this weirdo's the master of the Blue Pegasus guild?" Lucy asked.
"Well, I can't wait all night young man," Makarov urges the shadow mage.
Kageyama gulps and brings the flute closer to his mouth, worrying the Fairies even more. "Can you guys keep it down over there? We're just about to get to the good part." Another man wearing pointy hat and sunglasses told them.
"He's with Quarto Cerberus!" Lucy exclaimed.
"That's their master, Goldmine." Erza said.
At that moment, Black appeared beside the mages. "What's going here?" he asked.
"Oni-can! You're alive!" the sisters cheered as they embraced the False Saiyan.
"Release me! And of course, I'm alive! Did you really think a god could be defeated by such an atrocious human like that?" Black said.
"What happened to the Master of Eisenwald?" Erza asked.
"He's no longer a problem," Black replied. "Now what is going on here?"
"Black, you're hurt!" Gwen stated.
"You're also half naked!" Natsu pointed out. "Don't start copying this Ice stripper."
"Looks who's talking moron!" Gray said.
"Don't presume that I would ever stoop as low as to imitate the habits of a mortal," Black said before fixing his Gi.
"Listen Black, about leaving you to fight that guy alone..." Emily started to say but was cut off.
"Do not apologize for that. I would never ask a human mage to assist me in my own personal fights, you've just got in my way." Black stated. "Now someone tell what's going on?"
"Natsu defeated Erigor, but Kageyama took the flute and is about to use it on Master Makarov!" Lucy explained.
Black glanced over and spotted the shadow mage standing before Fairy Tail's Master. "If I remember correctly, he's the sealing mage who attacked Salamander on the train. So, he plans to execute the old fairy and the rest of these guild wizards; typical mortal behavior, they're only goal is destruction and revenge." he thought before he sensed a presence behind him. "What the?!"
"My my, aren't you a scrumptious young man! Who might you be handsome?" Master Bob asked the Kai.
"I never thought I would encounter such a repulsive creature," Black muttered.
Makarov continues to stare impatiently at the hesitating shadow mage. "Well?"
"I can do this; I just have to play one song and that will change everything," Kageyama urges himself.
After another moment of silence Makarov suddenly comments "Nothing's going to change," surprising the dark mage. "You cannot change the fact that the weak will remain weak; maybe it's just me but I don't think that's a bad thing. I mean we humans are weak creature by nature. Utter insecurities are the reason guilds even exist. And they're why we have friends. When we're surrounded by allies it's easier to stay positive about the future. Think of it this way, if we're clumsy then we'll stumble and bump into things but if we have faith in our future we'll continue marching forward. Our inner strength emerges on its own. But we have to choose that path and live our lives to the fullest. Don't let that silly flute get in the way." Everyone watched and listened to the Old Fairy's words before the shadow mage dropped the flute and fell to his knees.
"I surrender," Kage declared.
"Master!" Erza yelled as she and the other fairies run to the old man.
"You stop him!" Natsu said.
"Good job gramps!" Gray commended.
"What the? How did you kids end up in Clover?" Makarov asked a little irritated.
As the mage mingled with each other Black just stood back, bewildered by Makarov and Kageyama's actions. "What was that? The Fairy Master knew of the mage's intention, yet he showed no hostility towards him; and despite his desire for revenge the shadow mage gave up so easily, why?" Black thoughts were interrupted when he sensed a dark power emerge. "This Ki, where's it coming from?"
The Lullaby's eyes started glowing as a maniacal laughter was heard "I'VE GROWN TIRED OF YOU COWARDLY WIZARDS AND YOUR ANTICS!" the flute shouted, surprising everyone. A dark magic circle appeared in the sky, letting out sparks of electricity. "I CAN NO LONGER HOLD BACK! I SHALL COME FORTH TO DEVOUR YOU MYSELF!" A bright light shine from the circle and the flute grew into an enormous size; taking on the appearance of a wooden demon with three glowing eyes, the instrument towered over the wizards. "I SHALL FEAST UPON YOUR PITIFUL SOULS!"
"It's so big!" Lucy cried.
"Way to state the obvious!" Happy yelled.
"What is that thing?! Erigor never said anything about a monster!" Kageyama said.
"It must be a demon from the Book of Zeref," Goldmine guessed. "That's Lullaby's true form. It's forbidden black magic, living magic, Zeref's specialty."
"Living magic?" Erza questioned.
"Who's Zeref? Was he some kind of ancient wizard?" Gray inquired.
"He's the most evil wizard the world has ever known; he was very powerful back in his day." Master Bob explained. "But in my wildest dreams I never thought his dark legacy would pop up again."
"So, this world has its own batch of demons, and apparently a mortal was capable of creating this one," Black pondered. "Just another example of the ugliness humans bring with them."
"NOW, WHICH OF THESE DELECTABLE SOULS SHALL I DINE ON FIRST?" Lullaby inquired as it examined the guild mages.
"Sis, we didn't sign up for this!" Gwen stated.
"No kidding! Dark mages are one thing but a giant demon?!" Emily said before turning to Black. "Oni-Chan you're the deity, what should we do?"
Black gave no answer, so Neb got in his face. "Hey Black, this is no time to space out! We've got a situation here!"
"Silence cat!" Black yelled before stepping forward. "Even with the little reserves I have left, I should be able to cut down that giant piece of timber!" the Kai thought before addressing the others. "It stands to reason that you mortals have no chance against this demon, so as a god, allow me to destroy it." The Kai stepped towards the demon but was cut off when he sensed a large number of people coming their way.
"No giant wood demon is gonna scare off the Fiore Army! Charge!" the captain of the army ordered his men.
"YOU DOUBT MY POWER?! I'LL PROVE IT TO YA!" Lullaby declared as it opened its mouth and fire a blast towards the mountains; in an instant one of the mountains was reduced to dust.
"Captain are we scared yet?" one of the soldiers asked.
"Now men, retreat! Run for your lives!" the captain ordered, and the army quickly fled.
"Such cowardice is expected of lowly mortals," Black muttered.
"I HAVE NO NEED FOR THOSE PATHETIC HUMANS, I'M IN THE MOOD FOR A WIZARD'S SOUL AND I WILL CONSUME ALL OF YOURS!" Lullaby said to the mages.
"Oh yeah, I'd like to see you try!" Natsu dared it.
Lullaby then let out a screeching sound as it readied its attack. Most of the mages covered their ears in pain, even Black was affected by this sound. "Cursed demon! I will no longer tolerate this creature's attempt at destruction!" The Saiyan imposter was about to attack when Natsu, Erza and Gray stepped in front of him.
"Stand down Black! This is our mission!" Erza told.
"Mortals do not order a god," the Kai said.
"Aw c'mon man, why should you have all the fun?" Natsu asked.
"Don't worry man, we got this!" Gray assured.
Black stayed silent for a second then answered "Very well fairies, have your fun. Just know that I will not save you when you get in trouble."
The three looked at him and said, "Don't underestimate Fairy Tail!"
The Kai suddenly had a flashback to a similar scene involving two Saiyan Princes from different timelines. "Don't underestimate mortals..." he raised an eyebrow as he saw Makarov give a smirk and his children prepare to fight.
"Ready?" Erza asked her teammates.
"Oh yeah!" Natsu and Gray answered confidently. The three then dashed towards the demon to attack.
"Requip!" Erza armor changed into her Heaven's Wheel Armor, and she slashed Lullaby with her two swords, making it scream in agony.
Gray followed her lead by taking his stance. "Ice-Make: Lance!" he launched multiple ice spears at the monster causing it more pain.
"Now it's my turn!" Natsu said as he bashed his fist together. The Dragon Slayer jumped up with his fist engulfed with fire. "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" he socked the demon right in the face with his attack.
The Guild Masters were amazed by the abilities of the three mages. "He just punched the demon with fire!"
"I didn't know ice magic could do that!"
"That girl can requip her armor!"
"YOU ARE MAKING ME ANGRY!" Lullaby roared as it swiped its hand to attack its adversaries. Despite this, the three continued their assault against the wood demon.
"I'm not done yet!" Natsu said as got another attack ready. "Fire Dragon Wing Attack!" he hurled waves of fire at Lullaby causing more pain.
"Hmm, those three seem to be doing quite well," Black thought.
"Amazing," Gwen said.
"Those guys are awesome!" Emily yelled.
"Incredible! Their combination attacks are so powerful!" Kageyama commented.
"And they're in total sync!" Lucy added.
"Aye!" Happy said.
"They're so cool!" Neb said.
Now enraged, the magic circle above Lullaby disappeared as it started to take a deep breath and increase its power. "This doesn't look good!" Lucy said.
"Here comes it's song!" Happy exclaimed.
As the demon inhaled for a bit, the trees in the area began to wither away at a fast rate. "Look, the plants are dying!" Lucy yelled.
"Lullaby is sucking the life out of them!" Happy stated.
"JUST ONE NOTE AND YOUR SOULS WILL BE MINE!" Lullaby declared. It then released the air it absorbed to let out its horrifying sound, but something seemed off about the melody. "I DON'T UNDERSTAND! WHY CAN'T I PLAY MY MELODY OF DEATH?!"
"It must be cause of all those attacks!" Kageyama guessed.
"They punched up so many holes in that thing it messed up it's sound." Lucy explained. "All that build up for this? Talk about going out with a whimper."
"Yeah, flutes are pretty lame anyway," Happy added.
"YOU DARE MOCK ME?!" Lullaby shouted. It started thrashing around before aiming an attack at the mages.
"Ice Make…" Gray chanted as he stood in front of the spectators. Lullaby fired its magic blast and created overwhelming flames around the area, but the ice mage formed a wall to protect everyone. "Shield!"
"Oh wow! That boy's maker magic is spectacular!"
"What's Maker magic?" Lucy asked.
"It's user can give magical energy a tangible form," Happy explained. "However, there's another type of magic that can destroy it."
"I WILL KILL YOU ALL!" Lullaby swore before it noticed the fire it created being sucked away into the Fire Dragon Slayer's direction.
"Oh yeah?" Natsu gulped down the flames and smirked. "Now I got a fire in my belly!"
Black who had started watching the battle from the sky after Lullaby's attack was intrigued by Natsu's technique. "So, the Salamander can also ingest fire to increase his power,"
"YOU'RE NOT HUMAN! YOU'RE A MONSTER!" Lullaby yelled as it tried to punch the Dragon Slayer.
"Like you can talk!" Natsu shot back as he dodged the strike and run up the demon's arm.
"STOP CLIMBING ME!"
"Requip!" Erza changed into another armor, one with black wings, shoulder guards, boots, gloves and was more revealing than the previous one as she flew towards the wood demon.
"Ice Make Saucer!" Gray yelled as he created a razor disk and hurled it at Lullaby, cutting its abdomen. Erza followed by using her sword to slash the demon's face.
"I got this!" Natsu bashed his fist together as he set them on fire. "That flames of my right hand, and the flames of my left…put the two together…" the Son of Igneel joined his flaming hands and formed a massive ball of fire. "And this is what you get!" Natsu then raised his hands over his head and condensed at his flames into the large fireball. "Fire Dragon Brilliant Flame!" He threw the fire attack right into the wood demon's face; Lullaby screamed in agony as the flames consumed it and caused an explosion that shot into the heavens. Everyone was in awe as the monster was gone and white sparks fell everywhere.
"Well done!" Makarov commended his children.
"You're amazing." Said Master Bob.
"You kids made defeating Zeref's demon look easy," Goldmine remarked.
"I can't believe how strong they are!" an astonish Kageyama stated. "Are all of the Fairy Tail wizards as powerful as these three?"
"There's no doubt about it, this is the strongest team!" Lucy cheered.
"Aye!" Said Happy.
"We're an awesome guild, aren't we?" Makarov said with a smug look.
"Great work out there you guys!" Lucy praised them.
"Thanks, but it wasn't a big deal," Natsu said.
"Yeah, piece of cake." Gray added.
"They may be a bunch of fools, but they're stronger than I am," Kageyama admitted.
Black, Neb and the Pendleton sisters watched the Fairies laugh at their accomplishment. "Wow! That was incredible!" Gwen said.
"Hey Black, how long before we can do something like that?" Emily asked but got no answer. She looked and saw the Kai wearing a more serious look on his face. "Black, is something wrong?"
"Huh?" Black said his thoughts interrupted.
"Are you alright?" Gwen asked.
"I'm fine. Why don't you girls go join your guildmates; I have some things to think about," Black suggested. The sisters nodded and ran towards the other fairies while Neb flew after them. "What did I just witness? First the old mage was able to talk that shadow mage out of seeking revenge and then just three mortals were able to easily best such a powerful demon. I always believed that mortals were weak pitiful and wicked creatures, but I saw more than that from this Fairy Tail," The Kai put his hand under his chin. "Perhaps…I don't know mortals as well as I thought I did. I might have been too quick to judge this world as I did mine. Not that it matters, once I am at full strength, I will proceed with Project Zero Mortals; but while I wait, it might be best to observe this Fairy Tail and these other guilds just to learn more about what humans are. As a god, I must prevent the ugliness of mortals from corrupting the beauty of the gods, and if these Fairies prove to be no different from the despicable mortals from my world, I will erase them all!"
"I can't exactly say I know what just happened, but I'd say we owe a big thanks to the Fairy Tail guild." Goldmine said.
"We do?"
"Even so I must say…" everyone then turned their attention to the Guild Master's conference hall, or where it used to be whereas now there was just as deep hole in its place. "THEY WENT OVERBOARD!"
"The conference hall's been destroyed!" Lucy said.
"Aye! There's also a couple of mountain tops missing," Happy pointed out. Makarov was so shocked that he passed out, releasing his spirit from his body.
"We really made a mess of the place huh?" Natsu laughed.
"Please, forgive us Master!" Erza pleaded as she chased his soul.
"Ridiculous. These mortals might just wear out my paitence before my powers return," Black muttered.
"I'm starting to think maybe Mom wasn't being too overbearing when she didn't let us join this guild til now," Gwen commented.
"Yeah, but those guys were so strong and awesome! I'm sure no one will really mind if one building gets demolished." Emily said.
"Doesn't look like they're gonna just let this slide," Neb said as he looked at the angry guildmasters. "And if all Fairies are like this, I think we'll be seeing a lot more collateral damage than this."
"You guys trying to catch somebody? I'll do it for ya!" Natsu offered.
"You're the one we're after!" the masters answered angrily. The Fairies quickly ran from the mob with Titania carrying Makarov, Neb carrying the sisters and Black flying right behind them. Unbeknownst to them, the two Dragon Slayers from the council were stationed in the sky, having watched the whole scene play out.
"The council's really not gonna like this," Raiana said.
"Yes, and I have a feeling they'll wanna put the blame on someone and make an example out of them," Julia stated.
"Who do you think it'll be?" Chillwalker asked.
"Hmm, if not the guild master then most likely Titania," Novastar answered before she began pondering about something.
"What's up partner?" Chillwalker iquired.
"That man Black, he seems different from any other mage in Fiore, probably than in Earthland," Novastar admitted. "I sense great malice from him."
"Should we arrest him? He hasn't really done anything bad," Chillwalker reasoned.
"Maybe so but I just can't shake this feeling," Novastar said. "Besides, we still need to know what happened to Eisenwald's master and I believe he knows abou that. We should tell the council about him too."
"Roger that!" Chillwalker agreed and the two sped back to their superiors.
A/N: And done! Sorry this took a while class and work really wear you out and take up your time. But now that then, next arc won't be the Galuna Island arc; sorry to any who really like that one but I don't see any reason to add Black to that arc and so whaile it's going on, the Saiyan Kai will be training his disciples and learning more about mortals from a particular species that I think will make a much more interesting arc.
