(Sorry for taking a bit to upload this chapter, school is getting quite busy again so I'll have to probably only be able to upload on weekends. Here's the next chapter for Tomorrow's Another Day, I hope you enjoy and let me know what you think of the story :) )

The week passed and it was time for the juniors to go to Sharpay's party. Gabriella walked downstairs to find Troy in the living room waiting. "Is this ok?" She asked, gesturing down to her flowy red tank top and dark skinny jeans.

He smiled and nodded as he stood up, walking towards her. He whispered in her ear, "gorgeous," making her smile.

"You're looking pretty handsome yourself Wildcat." She commented on his short sleeve button down and black jeans.

"Wildcat?" She blushed but didn't falter as she shrugged. "I like it. Come on, we'll say goodbye to the twins and head off." They walked into the dining room where Jack, Lucille and the twins were eating dinner. "We're heading off to Sharpay's, any specific time you want us back?"

"Does 11 sound reasonable?" The teens nodded. "Alright then, back by 11 and don't come home drunk, I don't want the twins seeing that behaviour."

Troy shook his head. "Mom, Gabriella and I don't drink, don't worry plus I have to drive back. We'll be back by 11." He said placing a kiss on her cheek. He walked over to the twins, rustling his brother's hair and kissing the top of his sister's head. "I'll see you guys tomorrow."

"Bye Troy." They responded with a smile.

Gabriella moved to kneel beside her sister. "Promise you'll be ok?" The little girl nodded. "Alright, well if you need anything or just want me to come back, call me and I'll come home."

"That won't be necessary Gabriella, she's fine with us."

Gabriella smiled slightly at Lucille in response before turning her attention back to Lilliana. "You know my number." The girl nodded. "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow Sweet Girl, I love you."

Lilliana stood and hugged her sister, whispering to her. "I promise I'll call if I want you, I love you Bria."

Gabriella stood and kissed her sister's forehead. "Sweet dreams Baby." She kissed Jacob's cheek as goodbye. "I'll see you tomorrow Jakie, sweet dreams."

"Bye Gabriella."

Troy and Gabriella walked outside and got into his truck, driving to Sharpay's house. When they got there, the party was in full swing, packed with juniors and seniors with the occasional freshman or sophomore. They manoeuvred their way through the crowd over to where their friends were sitting in the living room across from the 'dance floor.' Chad smirked as they approached. "You're just in time for truth or dare, take a seat."

They looked at the chairs, seeing there was only one left and their thoughts were interrupted by the one voice they didn't want to hear. "Over here Montez, I have a seat for you right here." He said, patting his knee.

Gabriella's nose scrunched at the comment and felt relieved when Troy sat down and pulled her onto his lap. "No need Evans, we'll be fine with sharing." She bit back her laughter at his attempt to remain nonchalant and discretely squeezed his shoulder in silent reassurance. The game started and as Zeke was completing his dare, Troy noticed that Gabriella was fiddling with her phone in her hands. He whispered to her, "Brie, you can put it away, we've only been gone for 20 minutes, you'll hear it if she calls."

She exhaled and put her phone in her pocket. "I know, I know, I'm just anxious."

He smiled reassuringly. "I know you are, but she's alright. Mom and Dad will look after her, that's their job remember?"

A couple hours later, multiple rounds passed with some of the Wildcats taking shots, showing embarrassing photos and some revealing confessions. Troy was now sitting on the arm of Gabriella's chair having gone to get them a can of coke each. It was Sharpay's turn to ask. "Gabs, truth or dare." The girl responded 'truth.' "If you had to kiss someone in this room, who'd it be?"

Gabriella's breath caught in her throat, she should've known that Sharpay would ask this type of question but she also knew that their relationship couldn't be revealed. "If I had to choose someone, I guess Troy 'cause I've known him the longest."

Ryan scoffed. "Bullshit." The group turned to look at him, half of them glaring. "Montez, you've been flirting with me since day one, it's almost getting old so drop the act already and get your ass over here."

Before anyone could say anything, Troy was up and had him gripped by the collar against the wall. "You've been harassing her since she came, back off."

Ryan laughed. "Or what Bolton, you're just pissed that I'll get to fuck her."

Troy punched him and growled. "Shut the fuck up, you have no right to touch her."

Gabriella placed herself beside her boyfriend. "Troy, let him go." She placed her hand on his forearm and saw how he softened. "Just ignore him, let's just go home." He nodded and dropped Ryan who huffed and went into the kitchen. Gabriella turned to the group. "I'm sorry, we'll see you guys Monday?"

"Gabs, one of us can take you home."

She smiled at Sharpay. "Thanks Shar but majority of you guys have been drinking and besides, my family is staying at Troy's anyway so we may as well leave together."

They said their goodbyes and walked outside, getting into his truck. After a few seconds silence, Troy broke it. "I know you're mad."

She shook her head. "I'm not mad... I'm disappointed in how you handled it because I don't like the idea of you getting into fights but I can't be mad at you for defending me."

"I won't say I'm sorry for what I did, he deserved it but I'm sorry for swearing." At her curious look, he continued. "I'm guessing you guys heard a lot of it in Denver 'cause Lil gets all jumpy every time someone swears so I'm sorry."

She shook her head and placed a kiss on his cheek. "It's fine Troy, let's just go home."
