Gabriella woke up, her head pounding and feeling slightly nauseous as she felt herself moving. Opening her eyes, she looked around at the unfamiliar car as the blurriness in her vision left before she saw Scott and Blaire in the front seats. "What's happening? How did I get here? I don't remember anything after chemistry." The two looked at her in the rearview mirror before looking back at the road. Gabriella looked out the window and saw the Denver sign, her eyes widening. "How did we get to Denver? What's happening? Where are you taking me?"
Blaire rolled her eyes. "We're taking you to see family, chill the fuck out." Gabriella's eyes widened at the response but chose to ignore it. She grabbed her bag at her feet and rummaged through it to find her phone. "If you're looking for your phone, don't bother. You're not having it back."
"What why? I need to tell -"
"It's already been taking care of."
"But -"
"Just shut up will you, we'll be there soon."
Gabriella's worry increased as she noticed the neighbourhood they were driving through, her and Lilliana were always told never to come around these streets. The car pulled up at a beat-up store that looked semi-abandoned and before she could think about running, Scott yanked her out of the car and gripped her arms tightly, pushing her into the store and down to the basement as she fought against him. "LET ME GO, WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?"
"I'll answer that Gabriella."
Her eyes widened as she faced David and Vivien, the former having spoken. "Y-you."
He smirked at her. "That's right, you didn't really think you could get away from us that easy did you?" He looked over to Scott. "Tie her down." Gabriella fought as hard as she could but Scott overpowered her and she found herself with the thick rope tied tightly around her wrists and ankles, keeping her cemented in the chair. "Oh and I see you've met our newest members. Now our little Gabi is returned to us."
She glared at the man. "I'm not your Gabi, I never was."
He approached her and harshly tipped her chin up, making her look at him. "Watch your mouth or you'll be punished."
"Let me go, you should be in jail."
"Wrong choice Bitch." Before Gabriella could register, she felt a sharp pain in her cheek then her temple before everything went black again.
When Gabriella came back to consciousness, she opened her eyes, looking around the area and locked eyes with David. She closed her own briefly, wanting it all to be a nightmare but the sight was still the same when she opened her eyes. "Took you long enough."
"Why am I here? Why are you doing this?"
"For revenge." He spat, "You got the police onto us and that's detrimental to our business, this gang can't run with its leader in prison."
Gabriella's eyes widened. "A gang as in -" Her question was answered as she looked at the boxes piled all around her and the equipment taking up a fair portion of the room.
"Now we're gonna punish you and that starts with you telling us where Olivia is." Gabriella shook her head. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way."
She shook her head. "I can't tell you because - because I don't know." Vivien and David looked at her skeptically. "We were separated as soon as we left Denver, I don't know where she is."
David huffed. "Whatever, we didn't really care about her anyway, you're the problem."
Blaire spoke up. "Her phone's going off, some kid named Troy." The woman unlocked the phone. "Aww isn't that adorable. Hey Brie, where are you? Lil and I are really worried. Please text me back and let us know you're ok. How sweet, what should we tell him. Oh I know." Blaire typed out the message and sent it with a smirk. "Who's Troy, is he your boyfriend? How about Lil?"
Gabriella shook her head. "They're my... foster brother and sister."
Her phone beeped twice, signalling more messages from Troy. "I kinda wished you'd waited so we could've said goodbye or at least told us you left." Blaire shook her head tauntingly. "God so rude Gabriella. Aww and look a message from the sister. Also Lilly says she loves you. How adorable."
Gabriella could feel the tears forming in her eyes, hearing the words from her sister. "Shut up, just shut up."
"We'll play their little game for now, we'll pretend you're the girl they think you are." She said as she responded to the messages. "Must be nice to have a family that's still alive right Gabriella?"
"H-how do you know about that?"
David laughed. "Oh naive little girl, how do you think they died?" Gabriella choked as she put the pieces and stuttered, making David more amused. "They're not the people you think they are Gabi, they were part of our gang too. Oh but precious baby Gabriella was born so they must leave. But karma's a bitch when their daughter goes missing. Though we couldn't let them find you, it was bound to happen so we had to take them out of the picture."
"W-why wait six years then?"
"It'd be too suspicious for a couple to lose their child then mysteriously die wouldn't it? I'm not that stupid but we took care of it."
Gabriella shook her head, unable to look at the man she believed to be her father for most of her life. A terrible, disgusting monster who didn't deserve to be in this world.
