Well Lilly misses you and I do too.
He stared at the response in front of him, knowing that something was wrong. Tell her I miss her too. And I miss you foster brother. "Alright Lil, don't panic but I don't think we're talking to Gabriella so I'm gonna go down to the police station to see if they can track her phone."
"Can I come too?"
Troy considered the request for a few seconds. "Alright but we can't tell them where we're actually going."
"Should we bring Jakie too so they don't get suspicious?"
"Genius." He smiled at his little sister before they walked to Jacob's room, walking in when invited. "Jakie, we're going out but you have to keep it a secret if you want to come with us. Can you do that?"
The boy nodded and Troy told him everything and their plan. "I wanna help find Gabi too, I won't tell Mom and Dad."
The three siblings walked downstairs to find their parents in the living room. "I'm just taking the twins to the park before dinner, is that alright?" The parents nodded, asking them to be back in an hour and a half. "Alright, see you when we get back, I'll look after them I promise." As they walked out, he looked down at the twins. "Now this is the only time we're allowed to lie to Mommy and Daddy ok?" They nodded and all walked to the East police station, Troy speaking when they got to the front desk. "Hi, we're here to make a missing person report."
An officer came out and asked them to follow into his office where the twins played in the corner while Troy spoke with the man. "I'm officer Charles but you can just call me Adam. What seems to be the problem?"
"Ok this is going to sound weird but please just hear me out." He whispered the first part, "My girlfriend is missing," before he went back to talking properly. "The full story is my younger sister was kidnapped when she was two and so was Gabriella, they were together. When they were found, they both came back with us because her parents had passed away. She just disappeared from school five days ago and the only thing we know is that a woman signed her out."
"Have you had any contact with her?"
Troy sighed. "This is the part you probably won't believe. I've tried calling her and she won't answer but she'll text which seems fine but something's wrong. My sister's name is Lilliana but they were raised together calling her Olivia so Gabriella still calls her that, never referring to her as Lilly but she has been in her messages." He lowered his voice for the next statement. "And she called me her foster brother which she never has." He looked up at the officer and saw he was skeptical, making him sigh. "I knew you wouldn't believe me. I know it sounds stupid, but this isn't Gabriella, I know it's not. She says she's in California but I just feel like something's wrong."
Lilliana came up to the desk at that moment, looking at the officer with puppy dog eyes. "Please find my sister."
The man relented to the little girl. "I'll do my best sweetheart." He turned to Troy, "Can I have the phone number so I can track the phone, if the location's in California, it'll put your minds at ease, if not, then we'll further investigate it." The man started the process and it took a while before he frowned. "Well you were right to come in here, she's not in California." He turned the computer screen showing a pinpoint on Denver, making Troy and Lilliana pale.
"Mama and Papa." Lilliana whimpered.
Troy explained to the officer. "Gabriella and Lilliana lived with their kidnappers in Denver."
Adam nodded. "I'm gonna send this case over to the Denver police station for them to handle it, we'll keep you posted as much as we can, alright?" They nodded and he turned to the twins. "I promise we'll do everything we can to find your sister but for the moment, I think you should head back home, your mommy and daddy would be getting worried."
Troy nodded, shaking his hand. "Thank you for all your help Officer Charles." When they walked out of the office, Troy spoke. "You have to promise not to tell Mommy and Daddy about this tonight, I will explain it to them tomorrow and I don't want them to know either of you were involved if they get angry ok? Promise you won't say a word."
"We promise Troy."
He nodded and they continued walking until he felt Lilliana tug on his hand. "Do you think that Mama and Papa have Bria?"
Troy sighed. "I don't know Lil, but I really hope not."
