Gabriella found herself awake at 2am the next day and was shocked to see her sister awake next to her. "Liv, what are you doing awake?" The little girl shrugged so she pushed further. "You looked so tired last night and I can tell you haven't slept much, tell me what's wrong."
Lilliana shrugged slightly. "I was kinda scared when you weren't here so sometimes I'd have bad dreams and I wanted to make sure you were actually here."
The teenager hugged her sister close to her. "I'm here Liv, I promise. You don't have to be scared anymore, I want you to get some sleep." Seeing she was somewhat anxious, Gabriella compromised. "Would you like to talk all about this first so when you go to sleep, you don't have to worry?" The little girl nodded so Gabriella sat them up. "Ok, do you have any questions you want me to answer?"
"Just what happened?"
"Alright Sweet Girl, well Scott and Blaire took me from school back to Denver because they worked with David and Vivien, none of them are very nice people and they do very bad things."
"Did they hurt you?"
Gabriella nodded slowly. "Yeah they did, a lot." The junior hesitantly showed her sister some of the bruises and cuts, gauging her reaction as she did as to not scare the little girl, prepared to stop if it became too much for the child.
"I'm sorry Bria."
"You don't have to apologise Baby, you did absolutely nothing wrong."
"How did you get away from them?"
"I didn't really, Vivien actually helped me and she called the police on her and them. She said she was sorry for everything she did and that she loved us." Gabriella smiled sadly at the cautious look on her sister's face. "I know it's hard to believe but that's what she said."
"Are you feeling better?"
"I'm better now that I'm back with you, I missed you so much."
"I missed you too Bria." The little girl climbed into her sister's lap and leant her head against his shoulder. After some silence, Lilliana spoke, her eyes remaining downcast. "I have to tell you something, promise you won't be angry."
Gabriella started slowly scratching her sister's back. "You know you can tell me anything and I'd never get angry at you for that Liv."
"I accidentally told Troy that I know he's your boyfriend, it was an accident, I didn't mean to."
Lifting her sister's chin, the older girl caressed her sister's cheek. "I know, he told me and I'm certainly not gonna angry at you for that, ok? You never have to be scared to tell me anything, you know that."
"I know."
Gabriella watched the little girl rub her eyes and smiled slightly. "You're so tired Liv." Lilliana shook her head. "How about this? I'll go get you a glass of water and we'll try and go back to sleep?" Seeing her sister nod, the junior walked downstairs and filled a cup for the six-year-old. As she was walking upstairs, she saw Troy's door open and the boy walks out. "Oh sorry, did we wake you?"
"No I saw the light on and wanted to make sure everything was alright."
Placing the cup down, Gabriella stood beside him and wrapped her arms around his waist, looking up at him. "Don't tell me you haven't been sleeping either." Seeing him shrug, she laughed quietly. "Between you and your sister."
"We've lost you once Brie, can you blame us for being worried?"
Her expression softened and she gently connected their lips in a slow kiss, placing her hands on his cheeks when they pulled apart. "It's ok now, I'm not going anywhere, you're not going to lose me again, I promise." She looked towards the door before turning back to him. "Do you want to spend the night with us? I doubt your parents will think anything if we've got Liv there."
He shook his head slowly. "I think I'll be alright now, I don't wanna risk it." She nodded in understanding and he kissed the top of her head, squeezing her close to him gently before releasing her. "I'll let you get back to Lil but I love you Baby, night."
"I love you too Troy, good night." She went back into her room with Lilliana, giving the girl the glass and waiting until she'd had enough. "Alright, I think it's time to go to bed, you haven't had nearly enough sleep."
"Sweet dreams Bria, I love you."
Gabriella smiled and kissed her sister's forehead. "I love you too Baby, sweet dreams."
