After celebrating the win at the gym, the Wildcats went back to the Bolton house to get ready for homecoming. The girls had decided it was the best location because of the elegant staircase which would be perfect for photos. Sharpay had protested that her house would've been a better location but due to the proximity of Troy's house to the venue, it was chosen. It didn't take long for the boys to get ready, having all showered after the game, they only had to change into their tuxedos. They all stood in their black tuxes with each boy coordinating with their date so Chad wore a red tie, Zeke wore pink, Jason light blue and Troy dark blue.
The girls, however, took a while longer, trying to perfect their hair and makeup. As soon as they were finished, they sent Lilliana down to tell the parents and boys that they would be making their entrance down the stairs, as requested by Sharpay. Troy smiled as he saw his sister, standing at the top of the staircase in her dark blue dress to match with Gabriella, she even had the matching white sash. The little girl walked down to Troy and whispered that the girls were ready. Smiling, he informed everyone before turning back to the six-year-old. "You look very pretty Lilly."
She grinned proudly. "Thank you Troy, Bria did my hair and let me wear makeup."
He smiled and kissed her temple. "Should we watch them come down?" The little girl nodded. "Alright, girls you can come down now, we're ready for you." The first to walk down the stairs was Martha and everyone smiled as she walked down in her lilac dress. Troy touched her shoulder as he spoke. "You look pretty Martha."
The junior smiled. "Thanks Troy."
The next girl to walk down was Taylor and Chad beamed proudly as she came to stand beside him. Placing the corsage on her wrist, he looked at her. "You look hot - um I mean - pretty."
The girl giggled, an uncharacteristic trait. "Thank you Chad, you look pretty good yourself."
Moving aside, Sharpay was the next to walk down and Zeke stood nervously at the bottom of the stairs. As she came beside him, she placed a kiss on his cheek and he placed the corsage on her wrist. "You look gorgeous Babe."
"You too." She smiled before they moved aside.
Kelsi walked down next and smiled at Jason waiting for her. The boy placed the corsage on her wrist before kissing the back of her hand, making her blush. "You look amazing Kels."
"Thanks Jase, you as well."
Finally, it was Gabriella's turn. As she walked down, she saw the twins grinning at her, – their clothes coordinating with the juniors – before she locked eyes with Troy. His intense stare made her drop her gaze to the floor. When she finally reached his side, he tipped her chin up and looked into her eyes. "You look so beautiful." She whined his name quietly. "I'm serious, you look absolutely stunning Baby."
She looked down, tucking her hair behind her ears before looking back up. "You're looking pretty handsome yourself."
Once the teenagers were lined up and all the parents had taken their requested photos, Jacob spoke up nervously. "Umm I have something for the girls." The boy went down the line, giving each girl a white daisy and they smiled, saying 'thank you' to the six-year-old and gushing about how cute he was. As he reached Gabriella, she leaned down closer to his level. He handed her the flower and kissed her cheek. "You look pretty Gabi."
She smiled. "Thank you Jakie, you look very handsome and thank you for the daisy, it's lovely." She placed a kiss on his forehead before she stood up.
Soon enough, Jack called out that the limousine was there and the teenagers started walking out to the car. Gabriella felt her wrist being pulled back and smiled as she turned to Lilliana. She wasn't surprised when she felt the six-year-old hug her waist tightly and leant down so she could properly hug her. She heard the little girl whisper. "You look beautiful Bria."
"Thank you Little One, you look very beautiful too." As she looked back up at her sister, she saw the tears in her eyes. "Hey, no tears, what's wrong?" Seeing that the little girl was close to crying, she gently joked. "You can't cry, you'll ruin your makeup." Sure enough, Lilliana laughed in response. Gabriella guided her over to the lounge and sat beside her. "What's the matter?"
"Nothing." The little girl smiled. "You're happy now Bria."
The answer both filled and broke her heart so she pulled the six-year-old into a hug. "Of course I'm happy Liv, you're safe and back with your family, you're not scared anymore. We have Jack, Lucille, Troy, Jakie and I'm glad I got to stay with you. I'm happy because I can be happy now but I'm more happy 'cause I know you're happy now." The little girl nodded. "Are you ok now?"
Lilliana nodded. "I'm ok, have fun at your dance."
The girl went to stand. "Uh uh." She said, pulling her sister down next to her. "I want you to remember that you can call me anytime tonight, I don't care what the reason is, if you need anything or just want to talk to me, you call me, ok?" Lilliana nodded. "Promise?"
"I promise." The little girl hugged her big sister. "Have fun Bria, I love you."
Placing a kiss on her forehead, Gabriella responded. "I love you too Baby, every day to the end of the universe."
"Every day to the end of the universe."
With that, the sisters walked outside to the limousine and Gabriella and the Wildcats went on their way to homecoming.
