The next afternoon after everyone returned home from school, the twins got ready to go for their overnight camp. Their class would be heading to the campground in the afternoon where they would spend the night and the following day before they were picked up in the afternoon. Once everything was all packed for the seven-year-olds, Jack looked at the juniors. "You guys want to come too?" They nodded and the family got into the SUV and drove to the campground. Walking with their bags to where their class was, the family stopped a few meters away. Lilliana hugged Jack and Lucille while Jacob hugged the juniors before they swapped. Lilliana hugged Troy, "bye Troy."

"Bye Lil, I love you. Have a good time."

"I love you too."

She looked up at Gabriella nervously as she hugged her and Gabriella felt the death grip. The junior returned the gesture and leaned down to whisper. "Are you ok?" She felt the little girl nod but lifted her face from where it was buried in her chest to see her tear-filled eyes. "What's wrong Liv, why the tears?"

Lilliana shook her head. "I changed my mind, I don't wanna go anymore. I don't wanna stay."

Brushing her hair away from her face, the teenager asked. "What's changed your mind? You were excited to come to camp, why don't you wanna stay anymore?"

"I wanna stay with you."

Before Gabriella could respond, Jack spoke up. "It'll be alright Lil, you'll be with Jakie and your friends and you'll have a lot of fun."

Lilliana shook her head, repeating her previous statement while her breathing got harder. Gabriella rubbed her back. "Shh Sweet Girl, just try to breathe. Is this about staying the night?"

Lilliana nodded. "The last time - the last time -"

Gabriella closed her eyes as if she was in pain as she realised the true reason that her sister didn't want to stay but before she could console the girl, Ms Stevens approached. "Is everything alright here? Jacob, how about you head over to the class?" The boy shook his head, responding that he would wait for his sister and that he wanted to stay with her. The woman turned her attention to the girl. "What's the matter Lilly?"

The girl looked down still whilst she gripped her sister tightly, timidly responding. "I don't want to stay anymore."

"Why's that? It's just like a big sleepover, you've had sleepovers before right?" Lilliana shook her head, surprising the woman. "Oh is it because you don't want to be away from your parents?" The girl shook her head. "Well then what's the matter?"

Troy chose this moment to interrupt. "Can I talk to you for a moment?" The woman agreed despite her confusion and followed Troy, putting distance between the pair and the group. "Look, I'm only telling you this because it'll explain a lot about why Lilly is the way she is but it's private so we don't want this to be shared." The teacher agreed. "When Lilly was two, she was kidnapped and taken to Denver. Gabriella was also kidnapped when she was Lilly's age and they were raised together like sisters. We only just got her back a few months ago well when she started at the school. The reason Lilly doesn't want to stay is because she doesn't want to be away from Gabriella. She's hasn't spent a night away from her since she was two." Troy looked down slightly. "The only time she's been away from her was a couple months ago. Gabriella was kidnapped by the same people that took them the first time and she was gone for ten days and Lilly didn't handle it very well, she was terrified. It was the first time she'd ever been away from Gabriella for anything other than school. I guess that's what's making her scared of spending the night here, she'll be away from Gabriella."

The teacher stood astounded. "I - I don't even know what to say. All this time we thought it was Lilly just lacking in maturity when really, she's been through more than everyone."

"She's the furthest thing from immature, just very, very cautious."

Ms Stevens nodded and they returned to the group, the woman bending down to the girl's level. "We'll be just over here when you're ready to come over, if you'd like to stay. If not, that's ok too." Lilliana nodded and the teacher returned the gesture, moving back to her class.

Attention turned back to Lilliana and Lucille spoke. "Come on Lilly, it's a fun camp and you'll be with Jakie, you'll have a good time."

Gabriella watched as the girl didn't respond, knowing she was closing herself off and inwardly sighed, kneeling down to her level. "Look at me." The girl looked at her sister, and she continued. "I really think you should go to this camp."

"B-but last time -"

"I know what happened last time." Gabriella held the little girl's hands in her own. "But this isn't like last time, I'm still here and I'll be at home with your parents and Troy, nothing bad's gonna happen this time."

"Promise?"

"I promise Baby." Gabriella took a quick look around with a smile. "Look at all the cool stuff you'll get to do. There's rock climbing and an obstacle course and you'll go swimming and I think, you may even get some marshmallows tonight, that sounds fun, doesn't it?" Lilliana nodded slowly and Gabriella gently squeezed her hands. "If you're really uncomfortable and you really don't like the idea of staying, you don't have to. I don't want you to feel forced to stay here if you're feeling scared and uncomfortable. But I think you'll be ok and I think you'll have a lot of fun."

"You think I should stay?"

"I do, I think you'll have a really good time." She watched Lilliana shrug slightly. "Alright how about this, you know my number?" Lilliana nodded. "You spend the afternoon here and if you're not ready to stay the night, you ask Ms Stevens to call me or Troy or your parents and you can come home. Does that sound ok?"

"I like that idea better."

"I thought so." Gabriella looked across at the class, seeing that they were almost ready to go. "Alright, how about you give me a hug and you and Jakie can head over to your class so you can get started?"

Lilliana nodded and hugged Gabriella, her arms tightly gripping around the junior's neck. "I love you Bria."

"I love you too Baby, have fun tonight and tomorrow and I'll see you tomorrow afternoon." She placed a kiss on the girl's cheek as they let go. "Bye Sweet Girl."

They smiled as the little girl walked over to her brother and he held her hand as they walked over to their class. They started walking to the car and Jack pulled them back slightly, whispering to Troy. "Is it fine for us to drop you guys off at the mall or the movies or something, your mom and I need to talk and I think it'd be best for us to do it without any of you guys in the house?"

"Yeah that's fine." Troy turned to his girlfriend. "Movies sound alright?" Gabriella nodded with a smile. "Alright then." They got into the car and rode the silent drive to the cinema. They walked inside and had a look at the screenings. "Anything you want to see?"

Gabriella skimmed through the titles: Spiderman 3, Transformers, Juno, The Girl Next Door, Hairspray and Knocked Up before finally deciding. "Hairspray looks alright, do you want to see anything?"

"We can go see Hairspray, I don't mind." They lined up to get their tickets and snacks, Gabriella pouted as Troy refused to let her pay for anything. "No girlfriend of mine is going to be paying for our first official date."

The girl rolled her eyes. "Fine but I'm paying next time." Troy chose not to respond, only smirking as they walked into the cinema and went to the back row to the corner. "Any reason we're sitting in the back row?"

"I don't know, habit I guess? We've always just sat at the back, I like it better 'cause you can see without your neck getting sore."

Gabriella laughed. "Whatever you say Wildcat." The lights went down and the advertisements played before the movie started. Gabriella smiled as she felt Troy's arm wrap around her shoulder and she leaned into his chest. She had felt his eyes on her throughout the movie and wasn't surprised when she felt him shuffling. He placed a kiss on her cheek before placing his hand on the side of her neck and kissing the opposite side closest to him. Gabriella inhaled sharply, closing her eyes before she placed her hand on the back of his head. "Troy... what are you doing? I thought you wanted to watch the movie"

He shrugged and responded between kisses. "I wasn't really interested... I was just happy to see it 'cause you wanted to... I'm enjoying this more." He returned back to his ministrations and Gabriella looked around nervously, noting that no one was watching - everyone too engrossed in the movie. She sighed to herself before pulling him away from her neck. Before he could question, she placed her lips resolutely on his. Her hands moved to hold the sides of his neck whilst she felt one of his own move down to her back, caressing the skin exposed under her shirt.

Their moment, however, was interrupted by Gabriella's phone ringing. She pulled away from Troy to answer it as the theatre glared at her, they walked down the stairs and out of the theatre as she answered the phone. "Hi this is Gabriella." She felt Troy start kissing her neck as she tried to listen, after a few seconds, she pushed him away and her expression became more serious. "Oh hi Ms Stevens, is everything ok?" Troy moved behind Gabriella, resting his head on her shoulder with his arms wrapped around her waist as she spoke. "Yeah that's no worries, I told her she could call if she needed to... No worries." Gabriella heard the phone change over. "Hey Liv, everything ok?"

"Uh-huh, we're just about to watch a movie then we're going to bed."

"That sounds like fun, Troy and I were just watching a movie too. So are you ok to stay or were you wanting to come home?"

"I think I'll stay, it's been fun and you were right, we did get marshmallows."

Gabriella smiled. "I thought you might." She paused for a few seconds. "Not that I don't love talking to you 'cause you know I do and you're welcome to call anytime but if you don't want to come home, did you have a reason you asked Ms Stevens to call or did you just want to talk?"

"I just wanted to talk and um..."

Gabriella smiled sadly. "And what Baby, you know you can ask or talk to me about anything."

"Well we're going to bed soon and I was wondering if you could sing my special goodnight, I don't think I'll be able to sleep without it."

Gabriella looked around nervously at the people surrounding them before sighing inwardly and relenting. "Of course I can." She quietly sang the song into the phone before ending with, "Tomorrow's another day Sweet Girl and I love you every day to the end of the universe. Sweet dreams Livie."

"I love you too Bria, sweet dreams."

"I'll see you tomorrow afternoon, have a good night and a good day tomorrow."

"Ok bye Bria."

"Bye Liv." When she hung up, Troy looked at her curiously, asking if everything was ok. "Yeah she seems ok, she just wanted to talk before they went to bed." The boy nodded and she glanced down at the time. "There's probably not much left of the movie, do you want to go back in and watch the rest of it or should we just go from here?"

He shrugged, "I don't mind, whatever you want to do."

"How about we just get some dinner and then go home."

Troy nodded. "Yeah, there's a McDonalds across the road if you're good with that." Gabriella nodded. "Alright, let's head off."

Hand-in-hand, the young couple walked out of the cinema and over to the fast-food restaurant. They had a quick bite to eat before they walked back to the Bolton's house. They spent some time in Gabriella's room before they both retired to bed, the girl having a slightly interrupted sleep as she found it difficult to shut off with her sister not beside her as they had been for what felt like the majority of their lives.
