Isabella is walking to balder's office thinking of finally getting her revenge. Isabella opens the door to balder's office before sitting in the chair right Infront of him.
"Uncle, we need to talk." Isabella said, looking at her uncle with a serious face.
Flashback
Isabella was born to a lumen mother and an unknown father. Her mother wasn't able to become a sage due to her gender but was still respected among the clan as a healer. Isabella didn't know who her father was but never really cared for him; all she cared about was her mother.
"Young isabella pov"
Isabella was waiting for her mother Elizabeth to finish making dinner, getting bored quickly.
"Mother, when is dinner going to be ready?" Isabella asked, getting impatient as she looked over and saw her mother.
Elizabeth had silver gray hair, pure silver eyes and was wearing a white dress.
"Soon my little ivy go wash up and dinner should be done by the time you're done. Her mother said as she finished chopping up vegetables for the soup she was making.
"30 minutes later"
Isabella finished washing up and eating now she was laying in bed getting ready to go to sleep. Until she felt her house shake and rumble. She then heard her mother scream, bolted out of bed and ran downstairs.
Isabella managed to reach the living room where she saw it. Her mother was stabbed through her stomach by a strange man.
Tears slowly ran down her face as she watched her mother's body slowly fall to the ground.
"So you must be my daughter Isabella right?" The man said, staring at Isabella.
"Why would you do this?" Ivy said, holding her mother's body while looking up at her father.
"The power of her soul will only make me stronger. Hmph. Since you're my seed I'll let you live this one time." The man said, looking down at his daughter.
"I will make you pay for this. I promise I will kill you." Ivy said slowly overcome with anger and rage picking up a knife and trying to stab her father.
Cervantes just smirked and punched Isabella in the stomach causing her to fall on the ground and to slowly pass out.
"Try again when your bite is as good as your bark." Cervantes said walking away from Isabella before saying one last thing.
"Cervantes remember my name and face cause I'm gonna be the one that steals your soul." Cervantes said as he started walking away from the destroyed house.
"3 days later
Isabella was found by some of the police officers and taken to the local orphanage. She was sitting in the cafeteria eating when she heard the matron call her name.
"Isabella, please come here, there is someone who wants to adopt you." The matron said as a tall man came behind with her. Isabella ran up to the man and hugged his leg.
"Uncle balder" she said as she let go and looked up at her uncle's face with tears going down her eyes.
"I'm sorry Isabella I couldn't protect your mother ,but I will do everything in my power to protect you. You have my word." Balder said as he pulled his niece into a hug.
"Uncle, why did that man attack us, why did he kill mother,why did he say he was my father. Uncle this doesn't make sense." Isabella said, trying to piece together everything that had happened.
"I do not know Isabella but for now we must leave. I will have to train you so that you can protect yourself." Balder said he led Isabella out of the orphanage.
Flashback end
(Naruto is wearing a black jacket with red flames swirling around to create a sun, black jeans and red tennis shoes.)
"Naruto pov"
Naruto had just finished training for the day and was now playing some games he had heard about. After he finished this last fight he was gonna go read about what he missed in the past 500 years. Turns out balder found the library that the council hid in vigrid and moved it to this building. He also noticed that balder and Jeanne were acting strange they seemed to know something. Balder told me his plan was to find Cereza so he could protect her ,but he doubted Cereza needed protection. When Naruto asked how Jeanne knew cereza she said cereza challenged her for the umbran throne ,but that doesn't make sense even if cereza won she would still not rise through the ranks considering her heritage.
"What is balder's plan? What does he truly want from cereza? I've got to find out." Naruto said while leaving his room taking some books he wanted to put back before leaving to go to the library. On the way to the library he heard shouting.
"You old bastard, you lied to me." Naruto heard before he went to check out what was wrong. He headed to Balder's office to find Ivy yelling at Baldur, almost seeming to pull out her sword.
"Sweet Isabella, I never lied to you. I just felt you were not ready to face the road ahead." Balder said not really caring about ivy being angry.
"First of all do not call me that , and second who are you to judge if I'm ready or not." Ivy said slamming her hands on balder's desk in anger staring directly into balder's eyes.
"I am the one who brought you here. I may not be your father but I am also the only family you have left Isabella." Balder said, staring directly at ivy with a serious face.
"No you're not my father, my father is out there killing innocents and stealing their souls. Someone has to put an end to this, it might as well be me. I owe his victims that much for being that monster's daughter." Isabella said as she thought about all the countless lives lost due to her father's lust for power.
"Isabella think about this how would your moth-." Balder tried to say but was interrupted by Isabella.
"DON'T YOU DARE MY MOTHER'S SOUL IS TRAPPED IN THAT BASTARD." Isabella said as she pulled out her valentine sword and destroyed the desk in a fit of rage.
"Isabella, I don't think your mother would have wanted you to become like this." Balder said as he walked over to the window and looked out of it seeing the city of Vigrid.
"Then you must not have known her." Isabella said as she made her way to the door of the office before stopping just before her hand could reach the knob.
"I'm done with you uncle once I have Cervantes's head I'm leaving. You've been strange since Rosa's death. You haven't even seen Cereza since she was born even though you have the ability. You even refuse to tell Naruto your son in law where she is because it would ruin your plans to do who knows what. Uncle I appreciate you taking me in after my mother's death but it's time for me to leave." She said grabbing the door knob and twisting it opening the door.
"I'm sorry Isabella but I cannot allow you to leave." Balder said as he pulled out his spear.
(Holy glaive: Balder's weapon of choice is a golden spear that is capable of splitting itself in half to form two short swords.)
Just as she was about to leave the room her instincts flared up causing her to grab her sword and block the incoming attack. Balder pulls back his spear as he notices another weapon intending on slicing off his head; he splits his spear in half and blocks the strike.
"Naruto my boy, what is the meaning of this?" Balder asks as he backs away from the duo.
"You hid Cereza from me. Why? I thought you of all people would want to have her here." Naruto said, pointing his spear at Balder.
"I planned on telling you when the time was right I didn't think you were ready to face her yet." Balder said, combining his short swords back together.
"Bullshit, I noticed both you and Jeanne acting strange. What the hell are you planning balder?"
Naruto said as orange and red flames started to pour off of him affecting the entire building.
Just as balder was about to say anything else he heard a small child yell out "Daddy". Hearing this caused everyone to look over to see a 4 year old child holding a teddy bear staring at everyone. This is Cereza as a child.
Realizing who she is both Naruto and Isabella were staring in shock at the small child before Naruto's shock was overcome with pure rage. He covers himself in fire before grabbing balder and throwing him out the stained glass window.
"Daddy," Cereza said, watching her father get thrown out of the building.
They both go through the window immediately being affected by the sun's rays increasing both of their power. Naruto pushes balder a few feet away from him before drawing in enough magic to allow him to fly. Balder did the same. Right now the two are staring at each other before balder starts patting his shoulder getting dust off his clothes.
"Was that truly necessary?" Balder said, wiping the glass shards of his clothes before turning to his former student.
"Why did you interfere with the flow of time? You know by having her here you could change everything. Sages are supposed to watch over the timeline not destroy it. Naruto said, staring at Balder.
"My boy you were never a sage hell you and others like you weren't even human. You were experiments of a madman. Created only to win us a war that we lost long ago. You may have been my student but you and your kind weren't supposed to live past that war and I as the last true sage shall kill you here and now." Balder said resummoning his weapon before getting in his serious mode. Causing peacock feathers to appear on his body and a yellow aura to appear around him was increased due to the sun being out.
Fire surrounds Naruto before it dissipates and shows Naruto holding his spear at its full length pointing it at Balder.
"Come and try it, last of the sages." Naruto said as they both rushed at each other and clashed spears.
Inside the building
Isabella was trying to (and failing) to calm down her younger cousin Cereza.
"What's going on? Why did that strange man try to hurt daddy? Who are you mummy who told me I shouldn't talk to strangers?" Young Cereza said as Isabella tried to seem it up for her.
"That strange man and your father are having a disagreement at the moment. And I'm your cousin. I'm uncle balder niece Ivy. It's nice to officially meet you cereza." Ivy said finally getting the child to calm down.
"What are they disagreeing about? Is it something I did?" Young Cereza said as tear slowing started to build up in her eyes.
"No little Cereza it's not you it's what your father did. Now why don't you go hide somewhere until this is over ok." Isabella said before little Cereza ran off. Isabella turned around and saw Jeanne standing a few feet away from her.
"Sending the kid off while we have fun. I didn't think you were into me like that." Jeanne said as walked a bit closer to Isabella.
"I've always wanted a reason to kick your fat ass." Isabella said as she whipped out her sword.
Jeanne pulls out her guns and starts shooting at isabella. Isabella starts whipping her sword around to block the bullets before launching the sword at it's whip form at jeanne. Jeanne dodges the whip then transforms into a lynx and rushes to Isabella before canceling the transformation and punching Isabella in the stomach.
"Ahh" Isabella groaned in pain before lighting her sword on fire and swinging it at Jeanne who didn't see it coming. Isabella slashes Jeanne across her chest cutting right above her breasts. Jeanne at the last second turns into a bunch of moths and flies away from isabella.
"Not bad you would've made for one hell of a witch too bad." Jeanne said as she got in a more serious stance.
"Who knows, maybe we could've been friends." Isabella said, lighting her sword on fire again.
Outside
Naruto and Balder were still struggling to push each other back. Until Naruto got the upper hand by channeling electricity into the spear causing Balder to force himself back to avoid getting shocked.
"You are not as powerful as you used to be my old student. Maybe you should've trained more instead of playing so many video games." Balder said smirking thinking that he had the upper hand.
"You sure I've learned something from those games. For instance." Naruto said his shadow disappeared and a crimson red clone of himself appeared right next to him.
(Crimson Doppelganger: Based on doppelganger style from devil may cry. Naruto's shadow can fight for a short amount of time before it returns to naruto. The speed at which the doppelganger moves is increased when Naruto puts more energy into it.)
"Well this certainly is new." Balder said as he split his spear in half.
Naruto and his shadow rush at Balder before swinging their spears at him simultaneously causing Balder to block in two different areas.Balder pushes them both back and sets his sights on Naruto before slashing at Naruto with only a few hitting before Balder stops time long enough to destroy Naruto's doppelganger.
Balder then backs away and rips off three of his peacock feathers and throws them into the air. Naruto seeing what balder is doing he makes a portal to Purgatorio big enough to transport him and Balder there.
ZIRACAH:Fortitudo
(Cardinal Virtue of Fortitude and the Bringer of Flame)
A giant monster with two dragon-like heads and a third giant main head as it's body descended from the portal before roaring at Naruto.
Naruto points the tip of his spear into the sky while a portal appears at the very edge.
(Warning my Enochian is horrible)
Kaiju Tabaan:Ghidorah
(King of thunder and Destroyer of the unknown)
A golden wyvern monster with three heads appears from the portal before roaring at the Laguna beast and it's master.
O'Brahma, Cover The Earth
Balder tries to make the first move by rushing at Naruto ,but just as he is a few feet from him Naruto closes and reopens his right eye sending a concentrated beam of pure fire at Balder hitting him in the chest.
Balder gets knocked back from the blast and notices his body isn't healing.
Ghidorah and Fortitudo are at a stalemate clashing their respective elements at each other but since Ghirorah had a third head used for attacks it shot another blast directly at Fortitudo's main body leaving a dust cloud due to the explosion.
The dust clears and shows the Laguna beast was severely damaged by the blast leaving a hole in the left side of his face. Fortitudo taking so much damage is sent back to Paradiso. Balder seeing this channel's power into right eye, sends a blue beam at Ghidorah destroying it, sending it back to Paradiso as well.
Inside
Both Isabella and Jeanne were both covered in cuts and panting hard after a long fight between two evenly matched combatants.
"You're more of a challenge than I thought." Jeanne said as she looked outside and saw Naruto throwing his spear at Balder causing a huge explosion that almost reached the building.
"Well it seems the boys are having fun so how about this one last attack you win? I will tell you where to find Cervantes and Cereza. I win, you have to submit to me. What do you say?" Jeanne said
"Fine but only because I wanna know where that bastard is." Isabella said as she channeled alchemy in her blade.
Both Isabella and Jeanne ran at each other just as soon as she got in range Isabella slashed her sword at Jeanne. Jeanne used witch time and turned into a pile of moths and reformed behind Isabella and ended her time magic but just as she was about to shoot her she felt a blade being holstered at her neck. Jeanne notices that Isabella isn't there anymore.
"I never had a reason to use time magic until now." Isabella said behind Jeanne holding her sword at Jeanne's throat waiting for her to surrender.
"Fine, fine you win." Jeanne said raising her hands in defeat. Isabella lowered her blade before backing away to get some room.
"Cervantes is in his birthplace of Valencia,Spain and Cereza is in New York. Balder made a field around the area outside of town to keep the supernatural away." Jeanne said as she closed her eyes.
"Hm thanks for the information. Now I gotta check up on Naruto." Ivy said as both turned to the side and saw two bright lights, one pure crimson and one pure azure shine outside.
5 minutes earlier outside
Naruto and Balder had kept on fighting even though their summons were gone. Right now Naruto was slowly losing himself in the battle.
His clothes were burning away ,but unknown to him pieces of his spear were breaking off and turning into fire and lightning while surrounding before both elements channel themselves into the spear. Eight streams of fire shot out of his body before a large crimson sun formed behind him.
Balder figuring out what's about to happen starts to channel and charge to the full power of the right eye.
Know the mercy of the King of the Gods.
Naruto points his spear to the sky. As a whirlwind of fire surrounds him and then dissipates. Naruto transports them both to an area where he can release his incoming attack. (Fate Extella Link Noble phantasm zone)
Indra,open your eyes.
Two strikes of lightning combine into the spear.
This single strike is extinction itself.
Naruto points his spear down at balder as a small orb of fire appears Infront of the spear.
Burn it all down, Vasavi Shakti…!
Naruto thrusts his spear into the orb shooting out a huge blast of fire and electricity towards balder.
Balder charges his own attack before aiming his right eye at the incoming blast.
Right Eye of God
Balder shoots out a blue beam of divine energy at the incoming blast.
Naruto was completely out of it. All he knew was that he had to kill balder he didn't know why he just knew he had to do it. He kept this thought until he felt an unimaginable pain course throughout his body.
Both beams struggle for dominance for a few seconds until Naruto's beam overcomes balder's.
The crimson blast heads towards balder until it disappears.
Badler looks up and sees not only the realm there shattering, he also turns to see Naruto falling from the sky.
Inside
The bright light fades and Isabella turns to see Naruto falling from the sky; she quickly jumps out the window to catch him before leaving the area as fast as she can.
Balder lands back into the building, hair ruffled and his clothes a mess.
"Balder you alright?" Jeanne asked
"Yes I am fine Jeanne." Balder said as he used magic to rebuild the building before going to look for young Cereza.
Ivy and Naruto
Isabella used a teleportation spell to take her to the area where Jeanne said Cereza lives. She looked over and saw a nice house on the edge of New York.
Isabella walked towards the door and knocked on it while still carrying Naruto on her back.
Bayonetta
Bayonetta remembered everything: her true name, her friends, her family, her lover but she lost it all. She just hoped those she left behind would be able to forgive her when she saw them again. The worst thing she remembered is how she left the one she cherished most to die.
Flashback
The war was almost over. Both the lumen sages and umbra witches clans that existed for untold thousands of years were on the brink of destruction. Both clans knew that they wouldn't be able to rover from this war yet they still continued.
Right now the lumen sages are pressing one last attack on Crescent valley and succeeding. Naruto and Cereza were looking for survivors. Well Naruto was looking for innocent people dragged into this war by the sages and Laguna while Cereza was looking for her mother and Jeanne.
Naruto looks around and notices a presence similar to Cereza's in the sanctuary.
"Cereza, I think your mother is there." Naruto said pointing at the sanctuary.
Cereza immediately heads over to the location and runs into Jeanne.
"Cereza Naruto what are you two doing here?" Jeanne asks her best friend.
"We're Looking for my mother. Have you seen her around here?" Cereza said
"Yes, your mother was heading to the sanctuary with the other injured witches. We have to hurry." Jeanne said as both used the beast within technique while Naruto flew towards the sanctuary.
"More Witches." All three of them heard as they turned to see a mob of Lumen sages, Laguna,and normal humans heading third way.
"Cereza,Jeanne, you two need to go now." Naruto said as his sense a powerful and familiar presence amongst the crowd.
"Naruto what the hell are you talking about? I'm not leaving you here." Cereza said staring at Naruto in confusion.
Just as the crowd reached them a single figure stood out the most amongst the most.
A tall skinny man with dark skin and red marks on his body. He seemed to be using a club too big for him. The was Alcides or Hercules if you will another member of the hero faction.
The two demigods stared each down before Alcides spoke first. "Why brother, why did you betray us?" Alcides asked, staring at his former comrade.
"I can't betray something if I never truly cared for it brother." Naruto said as he drew his spear knowing that his former comrade wouldn't move without a fight.
"Brother we don't have to do this. That witch has seduced you and plagued your mind with unholy magic. Just move out of the way and you can still be saved." Alcides said
"No brother, I can't do that. Once you find something you're willing to die for you will understand. Cereza Jeanne leave." Naruto said notice that the pair of witches were still here. Jeanne goes in first but waits on Cereza while Cereza finally gives in and runs into the building to check on her mother.
Jeanne used magic to seal up the door to the sanctuary buying them time. She runs down into the inner sanctum to see dead witches on there floor
"Mummy" Jeanne heard as she looked over and saw Cereza holding a woman's.
"Mummy stay with me please, you're one of the few things I have left please stay with me." Cereza said as she tried to find a way to preserve her mother's life.
"My darling Cereza I'm sorry but I can't do that. I'm so glad I could see you grow up into a beautiful woman, but now my time has run out. I wanted to see that boy you became so fond of ,and hopefully some grandchildren. Cereza, don't forget our promise to leave and never look back. And just know your father and I are always watching over you." Rosa said as life left her eyes and she died in her daughter's arms.
"Mummy mummy" Cereza said with tears in her eyes while shaking her mother's body while Jeanne bowed her head to respect those who fell.
Not long after they both feel a rumbling causing the seal on the door to break showing a bunch of normal humans and the Laguna. The leftover lumen sages seemed to have left for some reason but since the seal is broken it must mean that Naruto is dead. That fact crashed into Cereza's mind rather quickly and it was at the moment she lost all hope.
"No it can't be not like this." Cereza said as the truth of the matter came crashing down on her.
"I got them killed. I couldn't protect them and now they are both gone because of me. I've failed two of the people I cared for the most. I can't do this anymore, I just can't." Cereza thought watching as the human almost broke through the gate.
"Cereza get a hold of yourself and fight." Jeanne said as she watched her best friend dive into depression. Jeanne seeing this pulls out a mystical dagger.
"Cereza my Umbran sister, you bare our most valued treasure, the left eye of the world is in our grasp, and for however long you bear it I will let the left eye fall into the hands of another." Jeanne said as she stabbed Cereza with the dagger causing sereza to groan out in pain and emit a red aura before she was sealed away along with the left eye.
Flashback end
Ever since she recovered her memories she's been trying to honor those that she lost.
Knock knock
"I wonder who that could be." Bayonetta said as she walked over to her door. She opened the door to see a woman carrying a man ,but when she saw the man's face a few tears fell from her eyes.
She saw him here in the flesh, the man she left to die. The man she cherished most was her husband Naruto.
