Well, it took a little time but here's finally the first chapter. The first chapters need the most changes. My English is especially better in the later chapters. I hope I don't get to OOC, as I know Sam was in my previous version of this story.

Episode 1: iCan't tell Carly
Sam's pov
A few days have passed since my own revelation. I haven't spent much time at Carly's, every day after school I went straight back home. Making up some excuse that I needed to help my mother with the strangest situations that sadly, were true sometimes. I miss being at Carly's. It feels more like home than my actual home. I decided it's time to go. I knew I couldn't keep this from her, which is why I kept my distance. But maybe it's better if she knows. I remembered her getting so upset with both Freddie and me when she found out about our kiss. I felt horrible about her knowing and would've slapped Freddie silly if I wasn't the one who spilled the secret. But that night I felt even worse. When we were taped to those chairs, Carly asking about the kiss. I didn't have any feelings whatsoever for the dork back then. The questions felt awkward. But the way Carly sounded so betrayed… I never wanted to see or hear her like that again, I hate fighting with her. Carly is the sweetest person you could ever meet so when she gets mad you know you've done something wrong.
So now, I'm outside, running.
I run and run, I know I have to tell her.
I hear it in my head over and over: Tell her! Tell her! Tell her! She'll know what to do. I hope she understands. What if she likes him…? I start to worry for a second and slow down just slightly. Only a second though. If she wanted him, she could've had him by now. Not that this means I'll go after him now. I just can't stand the thought of them being a couple.
And finally, there it is: Bushwell Plaza!
As fast as I can I run into the lobby and there he is: the worst doorman ever, Lewbert with at his side little Lewbert, his famous wart!
He looks at me and starts yelling, like I expected about the floor that is getting wet, what do you expect? It's pouring rain outside!
Aaaand there we go.
"AAARRGHH MY LOBBY IS GETTING WET!" he starts screaming.
Well now it's my turn! So I scream back.
"AARRRGGHHHH LEWBERT IS HERE AGAIN!"
He looks annoyed, and goes away with a lot of "BLEHH"'s.
They should really get a new doorman. I don't want to wait for the elevator so I run up the stairs to Carly's and burst through the door.
"CARLY!" I yell. And she comes out of her room, down the stairs.
"Wow Sam what's wrong? You never run! Well unless you need to for the police or to break the arms of a kid or….wait, what did you do?"
"Nothing, I did nothing! For once maybe…. But really I'm innocent!"
"Okay" she laughs. Then she looks uncertain. "I have a question…" she trails off.
"What is it kid?" I'm completely caught off guard by her response.
"Well… are you mad at me? Did I do something?" Wait… where is this coming from?
"No, why should I be mad at you?"
"DID you do something I should be mad about?" I add with a curious look. What if she kissed Freddie again? She was almost scared to tell me when she kissed him after the taco truck accident…
"No, not that I know of at least." She says. "But you've been going home so much more lately and I don't know I feel like you were ignoring me." She looks saddened by this thought. I never meant to hurt her. It's just that dang BOY. I have accepted the fact that I may have some feelings for the nub now and I'm hoping so hard that when I tell Carly she can help me deal with this and get over him. And that it at least can get back to normal. I missed hanging out here too. Even if it had just been a few days.
"No that's not it. I'm not mad. I was just figuring some stuff out which is why…" I pause, not knowing what to say next.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but just need to talk to you and it's really freaking me out!" I say and I go to the kitchen. I grab a can of soda out of the fridge and open it.
She follows me and asks, "Well what's wrong? You know you can tell me" And I know, she truly is my best friend. But I can't just tell her. What if someone hears?
"Is Freddie here?"
Carly's pov
Wow what's wrong with her? Her hair is all wild, she's wet, she's kinda out of breath, she call's Freddie 'Freddie'! She's just completely … a mess.
"Yeah Freddie is upstairs, why?" What does she wants with Freddie? So many questions…
"Aaargh, can't he go?" Clearly she's annoyed that he's here. Well, at least that isn't out of the ordinary.
"What? No, he is updating the site and right now he is online chatting with a photographer so we can make new, really good photos for iCarly, why do you want him to go?" Yeah, why does she want him to go? I wanna know the answer right now!
"Because, I… I can't tell you what's wrong if he or Spencer or anybody is in this apartment. I know I'm not really a girly girl…." Okay I'm sorry but I have to interrupt
"No, absolutely not!" I laugh and she chuckles along. But I wanna know! Time to get back to serious talk! "But go on and tell"
"Okay I know that but I don't know, this is real private. I don't want anyone to hear this but I do wanna talk about it. You're my best friend Carls! I first didn't believe it myself, I thought I was going insane. It's horrible so please, make him leave as soon as possible!" Wow I couldn't believe I heard Sam saying THAT!
"Of course Sam!" I reassure her.
She calms down a bit.
"Never thought the day would come where you wanted girl talk."
"Well, don't get used to it." She winks at me.
"Wanna watch some Girly Cow?" I ask as I sit on the couch and grab the remote.
"Sure, but do you mind if I change into some of your clothes first?"
"Of course Sam! I wouldn't wanna walk around all wet either. Just go to my room and take whatever you want."
With a small thanks, which I know is a lot for this girl, she walks up the stairs to my room. I turn on the tv but my mind's somewhere else. I'm so curious. What could it possibly be. Something about her mother? Her sister Melanie? Some other crazy relative? Maybe even a boy? I've never seen Sam so affected by a boy so I'm pretty sure I can cross that one of the list.
Sam's pov
I walk into Carly's room and go to her closet to find some clothes but stop in front of the big mirror she has in her room. I absolutely look like a mess. The scar on my cheek has almost completely healed luckily. But my hair is all wet and a tangly mess. I start to get concerned again. Maybe this was a mistake. Carly can be such a hopeless romantic at times. She probably wants to make little plans to get us together now. I don't even wanna like the dork. It just came over me. And now I wanna get over him. I shiver in my cold, wet clothes and start to look through Carly's wardrobe. It's all so frilly and pink…. I try on a pair of black jeans but they won't fit. I sigh and look at all the pairs of colourful sweatpants. I go for the least Carly one, which was a very light purple. At least it isn't that bright. When I go through her sweatshirts, I find a matching shirt with a black star in the centre and just decide to go with it. I look at myself in the mirror again. I don't like this color on me but whatever. My hair is still an unruly mess and has already left some droplets on Carly's sweater. I frown at myself in the mirror. Usually I don't really care about my appearance. Am I caring about what Freddie might think of me? Ugh, no that can't be it. Maybe I have realised my feelings but acceptance….. not the right word I guess. I'm still a bit in denial.
I turn around and start to walk to the door but trip over one of the steps that lead up to the part where Carly's bed is. I land on the ground with a bang and a few seconds later I hear Freddie bursting in the door.
"Carly?! Are you okay?"
"Why don't you go ask her Fredbag?" I say dryly as I look up to him from the floor. He's leaning against the doorframe. Gotta admit it, he looks hot today. He's wearing black jeans and a red penny tee that says 'WINDY ELEPHANT'. The shirt's pretty tight and really shows of his biceps.
He chuckles at my response and smirks.
"Fine, Puckett. I'll go ask her." He says as he waves goodbye and leaves.
I stand up from the floor but plop down on Carly's bed. I groan to myself and bury my face in my hands. That smirk made me feel so weak. At least he doesn't notice anything and I can still call him names like usual. I don't wanna go down now that I know he'll be here… I'll just stay here until Carly gets him to leave.
Freddie's pov
I smile to myself as I walk downstairs, Carly's going to be so happy when she hears my news. I hear a loud thud coming from Carly's room when I'm just a few feet away from it. I panic, she could be hurt. So I quickly close the remaining feet between me and her door and slam it open yelling for her.
"Carly?! Are you okay?"
I scan the room and at the exact moment I see a mess of blonde curls laying by the steps in Carly's room I hear her annoyed voice.
"Why don't you go ask her Fredbag?"
I relax. It's just Sam. If there's someone who doesn't need saving, it's this girl. I chuckle partly at her comment and partly about the way she's still laying on the floor, looking like a mess.
I decide to get out before someone, THAT WOULD BE ME, will get hurt.
"Fine, Puckett. I'll go ask her." I say with a wave and close the door behind me. I wonder how long it'll take Sam to get up. Knowing her, she'll probably be too lazy to get up anytime soon.
As I walk down the final few steps of the stairs into the living room, I can see Carly sitting on the couch watching Girly Cow on the tv.
"You wanna watch some Girly Cow now?" she says without looking at me, she probably thinks I'm Sam.
"Mehh, I'm good" I say and her head quickly turns when she realizes it's me. I grin at her, already knowing what she's going to say next.
"I didn't know you were coming down. I was expecting Sam."
"I guessed that" I laugh and walk to the fridge and grab a bottle of water. "You want anything from the fridge?"
"No, thanks I'm good." She turns to me as I sit at the computer and check the iCarly website. "So, how are the iCarly updates coming along?"
"Pretty good. I put up our new blogs and just finished editing the latest Messin' with Lewbert video for the next show."
"That's great!" Carly says as she walks to the computer and looks at the changes I made. "We really need some new pictures though. We're still so young in these!"
"Talking about pictures…" I start before being caught off.
"You got news about the photographer?!" She jumps up and holds me by the arms.
"….Yes." I stammer. This girl can get excited in 0.2 seconds…
"Is it good or bad news?!" she yells in my face.
"Carly, chill out. The world isn't endi…"
"GOOD OR BAD?!"
"It's good, it's good." I get away from her and hold my hands up in defence.
I start to tell her the good news, I've been wanting to do this since I got the news myself, but barely get three words out before she screams "NO" and puts her hand on my mouth so I shut up. What's going on now?
"Sam needs to hear this news too."
Whyyyy. Why does that blonde headed demon have to be here all the time? I can't have some peace and quiet with Carly?
"I wonder what's taking her so long?" she says.
I scoff at this remark, earning a questioning look from Carly.
"She fell down on your steps when I was walking down. Didn't look like she was getting up anytime soon." I explain. "You know that girl can sleep anywhere."
Carly sighs and walks to the stairs. I guess she's gonna have her way and whether neither me or Sam want her here, she's coming downstairs.
"SAMMMM" Carly shrieks. "COME DOWNSTAIRS RIGHT NOW"
Nothing.
This was to be expected, Sam usually needs more than a little push. I roll my eyes at this thought and laugh at Carly's next attempt at getting Sam downstairs.
"SAM! I'M SERIOUS!" she suddenly gets an idea. "OR NO BACON AND HAM FOR A WEEK!"
She'll be a great mother one day. There's some loud bangs and Sam comes stumbling down the stairs, tripping over her own feet multiple times because she tries to go so fast.
"Am I on time?" she pants with wide eyes as she straightens up next to Carly at the end of the stairs.
"Very much so." Carly says happily, as she pats Sam's head. It's only now I realise Sam's hair is dripping wet and she's wearing some lilac sweats that probably belong to Carly.
"Uuhm…Sam, you know your hair is dripping wet right?" I ask her.
She gives me a bored expression as she walks up to me and squeezes my open bottle of water so a bit jumps up into my face.
"Uhmm, Freddison, you know your face is wet right?" she asks in a deep mocking voice. Anger rises in me but subsides slightly when Carly gives me a towel to dry my face.
"I was asking it for your own well-being Sam! You could catch a cold walking around like that." I explain myself but I already wish I never asked her anything in the first place. I should just let Sam be.
"You're moms rubbing off on you." She says with a laugh. "So Carlotta, why did I have to come downstairs so fast?" she easily jumps over the back of the couch next to Carly who starts beaming at the very thought of my news again.
"Freddie has some great news!"
I sit on the chair facing the girls and see I have both of their attention, though I wonder how long Sam's gonna last.
"I got us a free photoshoot!" I blurt out. I can't keep it to myself any longer.
Carly had been waiting on these words and squeals hugging Sam. Sam on the other hand looks lost and just sits back quietly after Carly lets her go.
"Aren't you excited Sam?!" Carly yells excitedly. "We can finally get some new pictures for the iCarly site! Ones in which we don't look 13 anymore!"
Sam just looks at Carly and calmly states. "Why?"
Carly has calmed down a bit, while still smiling insanely, and looks quizzically at Sam.
"Why do we have a photoshoot? Why is it free? And most importantly why do we need a photoshoot?" Sam simply asks.
"Have you seen those pictures? They hardly look like us anymore! We really need new ones! Freddie and I have been trying to get this for a few weeks."
"Well then, why a photoshoot?" Sam's still scarily calm. "We could just make them ourselves right? We did the last ones ourselves and Freddie has great cameras."
She does have a point with that I have great cameras. It almost sounds like a compliment, especially coming from this girl. But I know Carly is dying to have some professional photos taken and it's less work for us.
"It so much easier to have it done. It's less work and did I mention it's free?" I say with a smile.
"Yes, how did you get them to do it for free?" Carly asks.
"They're fans of iCarly. If we post their company name in a blog post about the photoshoot that's enough 'payment' for them." I say proudly.
"I still don't wanna do it." Sam states.
I'm starting to get annoyed at her again. What's wrong with her? Does she just want to ruin anything?
"WHY are you so stubborn?" I yell at her.
"Oh-oh" Carly whispers as she sees Sam's expression change from bored to furious and steps right in front of me. But I'm not scared…. She's balling her fists now. Maybe I'm a little scared. But I'm not showing it. I gotta stop being so scared of Sam.
"So what are you gonna do now?" I challenge. "Punch me? Do you really think that's going to help?"
Out of the corner of my eye, I see Carly staring at me like I'm crazy. But my eyes stay on the angry blonde in front of me, our faces just inches apart. I see something changing in Sam's face, her mouth turns up into an evil smirk. Her eyes, which were squinted with anger, open but are still aflame with anger. I'm taken back by this sudden change and simply stare into her icy blue eyes but not backing down. I don't see anything but Sam's face so when I feel a blow to my stomach it surprises me. I double over but don't wince in pain and don't fall to the ground like I would have done just two years ago. When I straighten back up I see Sam beaming, the anger has left her face completely and her eyes now sparkle with joy.
"Yes, actually. That helped." She says smiling and sits back down. It's amazing how fast her mood can change.
"But Sam," Carly carefully says. "Why don't you wanna do the photoshoot?"
Sam gives her a weird look but Carly backs off when given this look immediately.
Carly's POV
When I asked Sam why she didn't wanna do the photoshoot, she shot me a look that I know all too well. It's a look that I usually only give her. I once taught her that whenever that look is given the other should drop it cause it's not for everyone's ears and that I will explain later. So I don't ask any further and look at Freddie to see if he's noticed what is meant by that look but he doesn't have a clue. Then he gets a challenging look on his face.
"Are you scared?" he taunts Sam with a smirk on his face. I guess he just really liked that punch he received earlier.
"No, I. am. Not." Sam says more calmly than you would expect.
"I bet you are!"
"You wanna bet Benson?"
"Sure. You stop complaining AND help preparing AND do the shoot or you can't eat any fatcakes for a week."
"We both know you stole that from Carly's threat earlier but fine, you're on. And what do I win?" Of course Sam thinks she's gonna win. Well it's not that hard.
"If you win I'll import a box of Canadian fatcakes for you!" Sam's mouth drops at this statement.
"Better order those fatcakes today, Benson." Sam smirks as they shake hands.
"Well that's great! Do we already have a day planned?" I say cheerfully to quickly go past this subject. I know Sam wants to quit talking about the shoot and I'm really curious to find out what she needed to tell me.
Freddie tells us he doesn't have any details planned out yet but he would contact the photographer as soon as he could to fix the dates. Sam sits on the couch pretty quietly, especially considering her usual bouncy self. After this talk Freddie goes back upstairs to try and talk to the photographer again while Sam and I lay on the couch watching Girly Cow, finally. Sam looked more relaxed now that the talk of the shoot was behind us and she probably already forgot most of it.
"You look really cute in those sweats, Sam" I say but receive a glare.
"Yes, Shay… enjoy seeing me in these colors while you can." She says back. "I tried some black pants but they wouldn't fit me…" her eyes look sad for a second. "So I tried to find the least colourful sweats you have and well" she ends with a grand gesture to her outfit.
"Well, they just suit you. At least I think so."
Then we are both quiet and watch the show for a bit until..
"Is Spencer home?" Sam asks. I wonder if she wants to know because she wanted to talk to me all alone.
"No he's gone to Socko's for the day. I think they're making more lighting socks." I say while imagining them creating new socks… then getting worried Spencer's set everything on fire.
"So we just need to get rid of Freddie." I whisper to Sam and see her reaction is a small smile, which lets me know that was exactly why she asked me.
Hope you liked it! I have already made a start on the rewrite of next chapter. Hope to finish it within two weeks tops.
By the way reviews do make me write faster ;)
