Chapter 7: Special Move Saggittario
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. I know this one takes a while but I want you to know I haven't abandoned it. I plan to keep going. So I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.
After Roxas' battle with Hikaru, Kenta was still sulking in the arena when Benkei approached him.
"So you're Ginga Hagane huh? You sure don't look like him." Benkei said as Kenta whimpers. "Stand up!"
"I said stand up!" Benkei said grabbing Kenta by the shirt and lifting him up into the air causing Kenta to scream
From outside Roxas gasps hearing Kenta's scream.
"Kenta!" Holding out his hand Roxas summons Oathkeeper and charges in.
Little did he know, in his pocket, Driger let out a faint glow.
"You thought you were so smart using Ginga's name, but now you're in a real pickle. What are you gonna do now Einstein?" Benkei asks but Kenta couldn't give one. "Doesn't sound like a good plan."
From the side entrance, Roxas sees Benkei holding Kenta and was about to attack when he sees Benkei drop Kenta.
"Well since you don't have a plan let's think of one so you can finish what you started." Benkei said surprising them.
"Huh?" Kenta and Roxas said confused.
"Feel bad about losing? Then come back here tomorrow. I'll give you some training."
"Huh? But why would a Face Hunter help me?" Kenta asks.
"Don't ask! Just be here!" Benkei declares causing Roxas to stop in his tracks.
"Is Benkei…actually being nice to Kenta?" Roxas asks surprised.
As Benkei walks away, Kenta is slow to get up seeing this Roxas quickly made his keyblade disappear, but when he did Roxas heard a faint roar. "Huh?"
Roxas looks around but saw nothing around.
'Where did that come from?" Roxas asks before quickly shaking it off.
"Kenta!" Turing around Kenta saw Roxas ran in.
"Roxas." Kenta said.
"Are you okay?" Roxas asks.
"Yeah I-I'm fine. What happened with Hikaru?" Kenta asks.
"After you lost all your points I finally battled her." Roxas said.
"Did you win?" Kenta asks.
"Yeah I did." Roxas nods causing Kenta to frown.
"I'm sorry, I thought I could be strong like you and Ginga but I blew it." Kenta said.
Frowning Roxas put a hand on Kenta's shoulder. "You'll get there." Roxas said as they got up.
As they walked out both Roxas and Kenta looked out at the sunset when a memory comes back to him.
"Hey Kenta bet you don't know why the sun sets red." Roxas said.
"Huh?" Kenta asks.
"A friend once told me, light is made up of lots of colors and out of all those colors red is the one that travels the farthest." Roxas said.
"Like I even asked." Kenta said causing Roxas to chuckle.
"I said the same thing when he told me that." Roxas smiles. "Kenta whatever you choose to do I got your back."
As Roxas walks away Kenta smiles softly. "Thanks Roxas."
A few days later at Bey Park, Ginga was up and at it feeling better than ever.
"Get him!" Osamu yells as his bey charged in.
"Not this time!" Ginga said as Pegasus knocks his bey out of the arena.
"Aw man so close." Takeshi and Akira groaned.
"Sorry guys but you're still a while away from beating me." Ginga said.
"Even so everyone is improving greatly." Madoka said showing her data.
"Probably because we're battling everyday. Pretty soon we won't be losing to Kenta." Osamu said.
"Forget Kenta we could even beat Ginga and Roxas someday." Takeshi said when Hilary enters.
"Hey Hilary, glad you could make it." Ginga said.
"Hey guys have you seen Roxas?" Hilary asks.
"No, but we haven't seen Kenta much either." Madoka said.
"Those two are probably just hanging out." Ginga assumes.
"That's what I thought but when Roxas comes home he doesn't say anything." Hilary said surprising them.
Later that day as the sun was setting, Ginga, Madoka and Hilary were walking along the path near the river.
"Now that you mention it, neither of them has been at Beypark for a while." Madoka said.
"You don't think they caught my cold, do you?" Ginga asks.
"No Roxas, hasn't shown any sign of being sick." Hilary said.
"Oh there's Kenta." Madoka said as they looked down to see a bruised and bandaged Kenta running down near the river
"Hey Kenta!" Ginga calls out getting his attention.
"Ginga? Madoka? Hilary?" Kenta gasps surprised as they walked down to him.
"Where are you off to in such a hurry?" Madoka asks.
"N-Nowhere." Kenta stutters.
"Hey how'd you get all those scraps?" Ginga asks.
"Scrapes? What scrapes? It's nothing." Kenta said nervously.
"It doesn't look like nothing. Is there something you're not telling us?" Hilary narrows her eyes.
"Oh it's your special move training isn't it?" Madoka guesses.
"Special move?" Ginga and Hilary asks.
"Yeah Kenta is training to make a special move like Roxas and Ginga." Madoka explains.
"Oh, hey speaking of have you seen Roxas anywhere?" Ginga asks.
"Uh no can't say I have." Kenta said stepping back. "Look I need to get going."
"Kenta what's going on?" Ginga asks grabbing his arm causing his point gauge to fall out before Kenta broke free.
"It's nothing. I gotta go." Kenta said before running off.
"What's with him?" Hilary asks.
"What the?" Bending down Ginga picks it up and sees the points. "Kenta's points are down to zero."
"Huh? How did that happen? Kenta had over 2000 points." Madoka recalls.
"Well clearly he lost them all." Hilary said.
"Something's wrong here. What should we do?" Ginga asks.
"I say we follow him, maybe we'll even find Roxas. Come on Watson." Madoka smirks.
"How come you get to be Sherlock?" Ginga asks.
"Trust me, neither of you are Sherlock Holmes." Hilary said as they followed him.
Following Kenta to the old amusement park they looked in surprise to see Kenta doing rigorous training alongside Benkei.
"Come on! Pick up the pace!" Benkei yells as Kenta ran laps.
"It's Benkei?" Madoka gasps.
"What are they doing?" Ginga asks.
"It looks like they're training." Hilary said when she noticed something. "Well now we know where Roxas is."
"Huh?" Ginga and Madoka look to Hilary who points down to see Roxas leaning against the entrance also hidden from Kenta and Benkei's sight.
"I guess Roxas has been coming here so he could keep an eye on Kenta." Ginga said.
"Come on! You want to beat Hikaru?! Then keep coming at me!" Benkei roars.
"Who's Hikaru?" Hilary asks.
"I don't know but I think it's best we leave Kenta to this." Ginga said.
"But Ginga." Madoka said.
"Whoever this Hikaru is this battle means a lot to Kenta and we can't interfere. Benkei has made a man to man promise to Kenta to help him." Ginga said.
"This is help?" Hilary sweatdrops.
"Apparently." Madoka sweatdrops.
"Now for the real battle training. Time to use our beys." Benkei said taking out Dark Bull. "Beyblading is all about fighting spirit, the more you put into it the more power you will get out of it."
"Fighting Spirit! Fighting Spirit! Fighting Spirit!" Both of them chanted.
Down below, Roxas was leaning against the wall looking at his bey.
'When I summoned Oathkeeper you reacted to it. Why?' Roxas thought when he saw something moving in the stands.
Narrowing his eyes, Roxas saw Tetsuya spying on them.
"Ooh what's this Crabby?" Tetsuya grins.
As Hilary watches Roxas leave a curious look appeared on her face.
Scuttling down the exit, Tetsuya was about to run off when he saw Roxas appear in front of him.
"Going somewhere?" Roxas glares.
"Whoa! Where did you come from?! Don't you know it's rude to spy on people!" Tetsuya flinches.
"I should be saying that to you. What do you want Tetsuya?" Roxas asks.
"None of your business that's what. Hey wait I know you, you're the one who ruined my plan to take down Ginga." Tetsuya said recognizing him.
"The name is Roxas." Roxas said.
"Well Roxas, consider this payback for earlier." Tetsuya said readying his launcher. "You're about to tangle with the King Crab."
"Is that right?" Grabbing his launcher, Roxas loads his bey in.

"LET IT RIP!" They both said firing their beys.
At the exit, Hilary looks to see Driger and Mad Gasher clash.
"Him again." Hilary glares.
"Rip him to pieces Mad Gasher!" Tetsuya roars.
"Don't let up Driger!" Roxas said as Driger charges in and knocks Mad Gasher back.
As Mad Gasher tries to recover Driger charges in and delivers a series of quick barrage attacks.
Dodging the last one, Mad Gasher charges after Driger but he dodges all of Mad Gasher's attacks with ease.
"Hey no fair! Hold still!" Tetsuya said.
"You are really in no position to tell me about fighting fair. Driger!" Standing in place, Driger takes Mad Gasher's attacks before deflecting it.
"Oh you want to play like that huh? Special move, Track Change!" Tetsuya said as his bey's grows in size before charging in.
"You call that a special move?! Show how its done Driger! Twilight Claw!" Light and Darkness surround Driger as he charges in and rams int Mad Gasher sending it flying and crashing into a rock causing it to spin out.
"Crabba what?" Tetsuya gasps in shock as Roxas caught his bey.
"That was almost too easy." Roxas said.
"Nice." Hilary smiles.
"Oh no fair! There's no way I could lose to you! I mean look at you, you're a newbie, a rookie, a small fry and I'm the master crustcean." Tetsuya said.
"Oh shut up. Why were you spying on Kenta?" Roxas glares.
"Ha! I don't have to answer to you and there's nothing you can do to stop me." Tetsuya said crossing his arms and closing his eyes.
Looking over Roxas saw Hilary sneak over and stopped right behind Tetsuya and cracked her knuckles.
"Ha. Wanna bet?" Roxas smirks.
"That's a sucker's bet." Tetsuya mocks.
"Yeah." Hilary said before hitting him on the head. "You're the sucker!"
"Oh no. Not you again." Tetsuya panics.
"I think it's time for you to go on home crabby!" Swinging her foot Hilary kicks Tetsuya in the butt sending him tumbling all the way down the hill.
"Nice kick Hilary." Roxas chuckles.
"He was getting on my nerves." Hilary said walking up to him. "So this is where you've been going to."
"Sorry, I was just keeping an eye on Kenta, but surprisingly Benkei has actually been helping him." Roxas said.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Hilary asks.
"This is Kenta's thing, not mine. He made this choice all on his own. I'm just supporting him. That's what friends do." Roxas smiles.
"Yeah I guess so." Hilary smiles realizing why Ginga didn't interfere.
That night at the docks by the harbor, Hikaru was looking out at the water.
"Ginga Hagane, he wasn't as strong as I hoped. There isn't really much reason to stick around this town." Hikaru said before remembering her battle with Roxas and how he saved her life causing a small blush to appear on her face. "Well maybe one reason."
"Crabbity crab. Just where do you think you're off to?" Tetsuya calls out.
Turning around Hikaru saw a bruised and dirt stained Tetsuya hiding in between some crates.
"Who's there?" Hikaru asks.
"Did you really think you defeated Ginga Hagane your crabness? If so I have something you should know crab." Tetsuya smirks.
"What?" Hikaru asks suspicious.
Soon, Benkei was making his way back to the Face Hunter's base after a long day of training with Kenta.
"Man between the two of us I can't tell who's getting the bigger workout." Benkei said when he noticed Hikaru waiting for him. "Hikaru?"
"Why didn't you tell me?" Hikaru crosses her arms.
"Tell you what?" Benkei asks nervously.
"I don't know what your deal is but I don't waste my time with amateurs. Tomorrow I'm settling this with the real Ginga Hagane." Hikaru declares surprising him.
"T-Tomorrow?" Benkei gasps.
"No buts. That's why you brought me here right?" Hikaru glares.
"Yeah that's true but—"
"I said no buts. Tomorrow it is." Hikaru said walking away.
"B-But what about Kenta?" Benkei said worried.
Little did he know Tetsuya was watching all this.
"Ooh this is getting interesting snip snip." Tetsuya grins.
The next morning at Bey Park, Benkei and Kenta met up.
"Are you ready Kenta?" Benkei asks.
"Yes sir." Kenta nods.
"Hikaru should be coming to Bey Park where Ginga is but you are gonna cut her off before she gets here." Benkei explains.
"Got it." Kenta said.
"You still don't have a sure-fire way to beat Hikaru but no matter what it takes win and become a man Kenta!" Benkei declares.
"Yeah!" Kenta cheers.
"Fighting Spirit! Fighting Spirit! Fighting Spiri—"
"Hey Kenta what are you doing?" Madoka interrupts.
"Madoka?!" Kenta turns around surprised only to see Benkei was hiding behind a tree as Madoka approached him.
"So do you think you'll be coming in to Bey Park today?" Madoka asks.
"I uh well…" Kenta pauses.
"Everyone's been asking about you." Madoka said.
"Oh uh yeah I've just been kinda busy." Kenta said nervously.
"Well before you go, I have something for you." Madoka said reaching into her pocket and pulling something out.
"What is it?" Kenta asks.
"A metal face bolt. By increasing the center weight the beyblade's rotation becomes better balanced. Perfect for a Stamina type like Saggitario and it even adds more to your attacks and even allows you to repel your opponent's attacks." Madoka explains.
"Amazing." Kenta said blown away.
"Test it out whenever you find time." Madoka said before walking away.
Seeing his chance, Benkei came out of hiding.
"A metal face bolt? I've never seen one before." Benkei said as Kenta switches the two bolts out.
"Wow it feels so different." Kenta said impressed.
"Come on, we gotta go meet Hikaru." Benkei said as they ran off.
"Do you think he's gonna be okay?" Madoka asks.
"I hope so, this is Kenta's battle." Ginga said walking out.
"Still I wonder what kind of blader this Hikaru is?" Madoka asks.
"I can answer that." Roxas said walking over with Hilary.
"Roxas? Where have you been?" Madoka asks.
"Same as us, keeping an eye on Kenta." Hilary said.
Arriving at a highway underpass, Kenta and Benkei were reaching the spot.
"Where do you two rival crabs think you're going?" Tetsuya calls out.
"Where'd that come from?" Benkei asks when Tetsuya pops in from above.
"Right here crabs." He smirks.
"It's Tetsuya Watragani!" Kenta gasps.
"Don't tell me that Ginga wannabe is trying again. Snap, snap. You actually plan on battling with Hikaru who you yourself scouted?" Tetsuya asks.
"So you were the one who told Hikaru. That was none of your business!" Benkei snaps.
"I only told her the truth crabs, but siding with the enemy that kid there is the real betrayal." Tetsuya points.
"Enough! I will defeat Ginga but only when and where I choose but this kid has earned the right to have a match battle! And I'm gonna make sure that happens." Benkei declares.
"Ugh I am really not a fan of all that sappy friendship. If I don't smash his bey to pieces I won't be able to sleep at night!" Tetsuya said launching Mad Gasher.
Kenta was about to ready his bey when Benkei got in front of him.
"I'll be your opponent!" Benkei said firing Dark Bull knocking Gasher back.
"Benkei?" Kenta said surprised.
"Kenta you have your own opponent. Go now and finish what you started, leave this to me and Bull." Benkei said.
Smiling Kenta runs past them. "Thank you Benkei!"
"You really want to mess with me too?" Tetsuya asks as Benkei moved his foot back like a bull preparing to charge.
"B-B-Bull. When a man has decided to battle no one can interfere!" Benkei declares.
In a small square past the highway, Hikaru walks in to see Kenta running up to her.
"You again?" Hikaru glares. "Get out of my way."
"Not happening. Battle with me one more time." Kenta said.
"I have no interest in weak opponents. Once I battle with the real Ginga I'm going after that Roxas again." Hikaru declares.
"I'm sorry for lying but I put everything on the line to battle you as Ginga and I lost it all but I am no quitter and I need one more chance to win." Kenta declares taking out his bey. "My name is Kenta Yumiya and in place of Ginga Hagane I challenge you Hikaru!"
"You never learn, but if you insist, fine." Hikaru said taking out her launcher.
"Let it Rip!" Both said launching their beys.
Racing in both beys clash, but this time Aquario didn't send Saggitario flying.
"Not bad, you've gotten a little stronger." Hikaru said impressed.
"Amazing, Saggitario has so much more power." Kenta said amazed. "It must be thanks to the Metal Face Bolt."
"But just because you've improved a little don't think you can beat me!" Hikaru declares as Aquario disappeared.
"Not again!" Kenta gasps as Aquario disappeared and reappeared all over hitting Saggitario multiple times.
"I just have to wait for the Performance Tip change." Kenta said waiting for it. "Now! Go!"
As Saggitario races after Aquario it races up a ramp.
"It won't make it in time." Kenta cringes when something shot out of Saggitario allowing it to hit Aquario causing both beys to sleep out.
"What?" Hikaru gasps.
"A tie?" Kenta gasps. 'How did that happen? It was like Saggitario expanded its range somehow.' Kenta thought before noticing the claws at the bottom. "It must be."
"You've improved quite a bit but I still have one special move left. We're not done yet Kenta." Hikaru declares.
Back at the battle with Tetsuya and Benkei both were clashing.
"Hang on Kenta! I'm coming!" Benkei said as Mad Gasher raced around the tunnel. "I can't be wasting my time with this bottom feeder! Dark Bull Uppercut!"
Glowing bright, Bull races across the ground before leaping and smashing Gasher into the tunnel causing it crack.
"Oh no!" Tetsuya gasps when a large rock came down on his head knocking him to the ground alongside his bey.
Smirking Benkei caught his bey. "Hang on Kenta!" Benkei yells running past Tetsuya.
"That was a lucky shot. If he thinks this crab is cooked he's got another thing coming." Tetsuya declares.
With Kenta and Hikaru, both were preparing for their battle.
'The special move, something Hikaru has that I don't, but maybe…maybe I can create one with the metal face bolt Madoka gave me, the power I gained from Benkei, I can use the claws to create my own special move.' Kenta thought readying his launcher.

"Let it Rip!" Kenta roars as they both launched their beys.
Saggitario charges in but almost immediately he hits an illusion causing more to appear.
"There it is! Hikaru's Special Move!" Kenta gasps.
"Brace yourself kid! Aquario Infinite Assault!" Hikaru said as the illusions and giant tidal wave surrounded Saggitario. "And that is all she wrote." Hikaru smirks when she sees Kenta not even flinching.
'Beyblade is about fighting spirit. It's about wanting to win.' Kenta thought
"Saggitario!" Kenta roars as Saggitario's blades shoot out allowing him to deflect all of Aquario's attacks and send the real one flying back.
"What?! Aquario?!" Hikaru gasps as Benkei arrives.
"Whoa!" Benkei gasps.
"Saggitario Go Go Go! Special move: Saggitarrio Flame Claw!" Erupting in bright flames Saggitario charges in and knocks out Aquario.
As the bey hit the ground both Hikaru and Benkei were shocked.
"I-I won?" Kenta said before smiling. "I did it! My special move is complete!"
"Kenta!" Benkei smiles running to him.
"Benkei!" Kenta smiles as the two of them hug.
"I-I lost. To two people." Hikaru said.
"What's wrong with that?" Gasping Hikaru sees Roxas walking over.
"R-Roxas?" Hikaru blushes.
"Everyone loses from time to time, but you learn a lot more from failure than you do success. I mean look at Kenta, he lost to you so many times but he learned from those losses and managed to win. Imagine how strong you can get now that you've lost." Roxas said.
"Yeah…I guess you have a good point." Hikaru smiles when Ginga, Madoka and Hilary walk up to Benkei and Kenta.
"That was quite a battle Kenta." Ginga said.
"Do you think my metal bolt helped?" Madoka asks.
"Ginga? Madoka? Hilary?" Kenta said nervously.
"Wait, that's Ginga?" Hikaru gasps.
"Yep." Roxas said walking past her to Kenta. "Quite the special move of yours."
"Yeah. It was thanks to all of you helping me, but how did you guys know I was here?" Kenta asks.
"Elementary my dear Watson." Ginga and Madoka said.
"Huh?" Roxas asks confused.
"Don't ask." Hilary facepalms as Hikaru walks away.
"Hey Hikaru where are you going?" Kenta asks.
"Sorry but I got some training to do I'm coming back for a rematch and you're first Roxas." Hikaru said pointing at him.
"I'll be waiting." Roxas said.
"With this, we are enemies again." Benkei declares.
"What? But Benkei?" Kenta said shocked.
"Don't speak, this is how it has to be. I have a reason to defeat Ginga and it cannot be changed. Next time we meet Ginga I will defeat you." Benkei declares pointing at him.
"Oh yeah good luck, my cold is gone and I am ready to battle. Come at me any time Ginga smirks.
"Don't forget those words. I sure won't." Benkei said walking away.
"You know that big guy isn't as bad as I thought." Roxas said.
"Hey guys how about I make us a special treat to celebrate Kenta's special move?" Madoka offers.
"That sounds like the best idea I've heard all day." Hilary said.
"I could eat." Roxas smiles.
"Oh yeah cake rocks." Ginga said as they walked away.
Nearby as Benkei was walking down some stairs some Face Hunters approach him.
"Uh what's up guys?" Benkei asks.
"Don't play with us Benkei!"
"What's the deal with you hanging around with the enemy while Kyoya's away?"
"You're a traitor!"
"Wait a minute! I was just—"
"No excuses!" They interrupted.
"We can't trust you anymore! You're a traitor!"
"What?!" Benkei gasps in horror.
"Crabby crabby. That's how it is." Tetsuya said stepping in.
"Wataragane?" Benkei said surprised.
"Oops was this supposed to be our little secret? Because I kinda told all your friends." Tetsuya mocks.
"You dirty little crab!" Benkei roars.
