The assassins of Night Raid rushed through the forest as the Blades and Bloodgraves soared through the skies above the forest in our demon forms, peering down through the trees in search of our targets. With our enhanced eyesight, it would be easy to spot any intruders, not to mention the added panic from knowing you were being hunted by demons. "How many did Lubbock say there were?" Kinshiro asked.
"Only eight. A shame. Now it's barely even a hunt." Nightshade complained.
"Well, then, let's make it interesting and turn it into a race!" Nisha suggested.
"A great idea from a mind as beautiful as the rest of you." I said, flying closer to my betrothed... Well, as close as two 2 foot wingspans would allow.
Draco rolls his eyes in annoyance. "Somebody give me a barf bag." He sighed.
"Oh, don't act like you aren't all over Sabrina when you get the chance." Kinshiro said.
"Enough. Fan out and find the intruders. Whoever gets a bandit gets double desserts." My father declared.
"Now that's a SWEET deal!" Draco joked as he instantly went ahead.
"Double desserts? I'm in!" Emberlynn said before she did the same. From there, we all split off to hunt down the invaders.
I flew above a clearing near the river and noticed Akame encountered three of them. At first, I was content with letting her slaughter them all, but then I heard part of the conversation. "That's the girl from the wanted posters. That must mean Night Raid is around here." The one on the right said.
"She's a pretty little thing, eh?" The bulkier one to the left said.
"Let's not bang her up too bad. I wanna have some fun with her first." The one in the center said.
"Oh HELL NO." I growled, activating Bullet Time to reach them before Akame, divebombing the group and flying past one in the middle, biting his head off as I flew by, landing on all 4's and bringing myself to a stop, impaling the muscular one with my tail and slamming him down on the one of the right, leaving him alive, but too injured to move, making him easy pickings for Akame, at which point I restarted time.
"Oh, Sai. I could've handled them, but good work." She said.
I crushed the bandits head in my jaws and consumed it, before standing up and returning to my human form. "Yeah, sorry. I was gonna let you handle them, but the way those two were talking didn't sit well with me. I left the third guy alive for you, though. My dad said everyone who gets a kill gets double desserts." I told her.
In the blink of an eye Akame was on top of the survivor and stabbed him in the throat with Murasame, ending his life. "Thank you, Sai. I appreciate you giving me a chance to get extra dessert as well and not take it all for yourself. I don't believe I would've done the same." She said.
"Aww, it's no big deal. I'm already getting double desserts for these two. Besides, you're sweeter than any dessert we've got waiting for us back there." I told her, causing her to blush and look away.
One of the bandits must've heard or witnessed the death of his comrades and began to flee. "Crap, they've spotted us. But now that we know Night Raid's here, that intel is worth a fortune! I've got to get back to the base!" He said to himself as he continued running in a particular style.
"Ya know you're Naruto running, right?" Draco's voice was heard before he dove down and instantly decapitated the bandit with his scythe-like blade from his forearm.
Up on a nearby cliff, Mine rose up in anger. She had planned to snipe the escaping bandit with her Pumpkin, but Draco killed him first. "Dammit, Draco! That one was supposed to be mine!" She snapped, before sighing. "Oh well. I guess I wasn't in enough danger to power a big enough shot to kill that guy, anyway." Mine said, before a bandit suddenly jumped out from the treeline to try and attack her.
Which was quickly thwarted by Emberlynn as she fired her black flames from her hands. The bandit screamed loudly in agony as her flames ate away at his flesh. She landed besides the pinkette, changing back to her human form and giving her a smug grin. "Just imagine your peashooter only being useful when you're in danger." She teased.
"Agh! You take that back, you little brat! My precious Pumpkin is the greatest Imperial Arms ever!" Mine snapped, chasing after the smaller girl.
From out in the woods, Leone had just beaten a guy to death. "Huh. I thought I would've heard Pumpkin by now. I guess Mine finally decided to stop putting up with that finicky thing." She said.
A group of four more came rushing out of the woods towards her, but Katana landed in between them, flapping her swan-like wings to send a gust of freezing cold air towards the thugs that completely froze every cell in their body solid. She then returned to her human form, releasing a small ripple of demon energy to shatter all the ice, which included the frozen bandits as well, leaving them in thousands of tiny pieces. "She wasn't in enough danger to shoot that thing. For one of these super powerful teigu, it seems pretty situational. I prefer a direct approach that will always work." She said, turning to face Leone.
"Amen to that, sister! And after that, we reward ourselves with some hooch!" Leone cheered.
"I like the way you think." Katana said with a smirk.
Meanwhile, in a cave not too far from the girls, Lubbock had another girl snagged in his wires. "Ooh, it was a little lady tugging my strings this whole time." He said, tightening the strings a little, beginning to cut into her skin.
"Please, just spare my life! I'll do anything you want!" She pleaded.
"No way." He started. He was about to explain how he'd seen to many guys die from that promise from a girl, but before he could, a laser fired from behind Lubbock, piecing the girl's heart and killing her instantly. "What the!?" He shrieked, turning to face Kinshiro.
"Jeez, Lub. Not cool. If you're gonna kill your target, just kill them. Don't leave them strung up with some wires digging into them. Especially if it's a poor girl like that. We're assassins, not torturers." Kinshiro told him.
"I guess you got a point." Lubbock said, withdrawing his wires. The two of them began to leave, but looked back at the girl's body one last time. "Man, what a waste. Why does this job have to be so disappointing sometimes?" He asked.
"Stay strong, my friend. There will be plenty women for all of us once everything is said and done." Kinshiro told him.
Nightshade had landed and began hunting his targets on the ground, which proved useful, as two bandits jumped out at him. "Pathetic." He said, creating spears of darkness that shot from his shoulders and impaled the two in their brains, killing them instantly. He retracted the spears back into his shoulders, punching the bodies off of the spears, causing them to explode, before completely retracting the spears back into his body and returning to his human form.
"Hey, Nightshade. Looks like you're still alive." Bulat said, walking up to him.
Nightshade scoffed at this. "Please. Scum like that would never be able to touch me." My brother boasted.
Suddenly, 6 more bandits ambushed them, leaping out from cover on each side. But before they could do anything, our fathers dropped down from the sky, my father landing in front of Nightshade and Ebon landing in front of Bulat, the force and friction from their sheer landing speed splattered three of the bandits each. Our father returned to his human form. "They may not be able to touch you, but clearly, they can still ambush you. You've gotten rusty, Nightshade. Be mindful of your surroundings." Ryu told him.
Nightshade growled at this, but lowered his head in respect. "Yes, father." Nightshade said.
"Thanks for the assist, you two." Bulat said.
Ebon nodded as he returned to his human form. "Anytime. Admittedly it was effortless." He smiled, giving the single thumb up.
The rest of the Blades, Night Raid and Bloodgraves regrouped, but I then noticed something. "Hey, wait. Where's Nisha?" I asked, noticing that she was the only one missing.
"Here I am, love." We all turned our attention to Nisha, who carried four of them on her shoulders, before dropping their lifeless carcasses. "That's the last of them."
"Good work, my daughter." Ebon said, with Luna smiling.
"I knew our kids would go well together." Shizune told Luna, smiling as well.
"Indeed." Luna nodded in agreement.
The next day, Sheele walked down the hallway, just finishing cleaning her glasses, putting them back on to see Kinshiro and Emberlynn standing just outside of the meeting room, Kinshiro leaning against the wall, looking impatient, while Emberlynn was boredly filing her fingernails. "Emberlynn, Kinshiro. Is something the matter?" Sheele asked.
"Oh, Sheele. Nothing's wrong now that you're here. Seeing you just made my spirit rise a little bit. Amongst other things." Kinshiro told her in a sly manner, leaning in towards her.
"We're just waiting for Pinky McFlatChest to get up, but she's taking ages to do so." Emberlynn said with mild annoyance while still filing her nails.
"Yeah. Sai bribed me with this epic seafood salad he makes to take his place training with Mine." Kinshiro grumbled.
Sheele turned her attention to Draco's younger sister. "Big bro, Dray bribes me with mountain of sweets if I do the same." Emberlynn said, her mouth slightly watered from the sweets she had in mind.
"I see. Mine does have a habit of sleeping in." Sheele told them as she walked into the meeting room.
"Oh, come on! Last I checked assassins need to make deadlines." Kinshiro snapped.
"I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'll go wake her up now." Sheele offered, turning back to do so.
"Let Kinshiro and Emberlynn do it." Najenda said.
"Say what now, Boss Ma'am?" Emberlynn asked in a mild surprised tone.
"You two are her subordinates today. Waking up your supervisor is part of an assassin's job." Najenda informed them.
Kinshiro narrowed his eye at her. "Okay, first: it sounds like you just completely made that up on the spot. Second: how is that part of an assassin's job?! An assassin kills people, that's it! Waking up a supervisor is nowhere in the job description!" He ranted.
"Consider it another test." Najenda told them.
Kinshiro grumbled, but turned to leave. "Fine. Let's go, Emberlynn." He said.
"Got it, Kin." She responded.
They soon reached Mine's door and Kinshiro leaned up against the wall across from it. "Why don't you open the door? Less issue with a girl walking in on another girl." He said.
"'Aight then. Yo, Pinky, rise and shine!" Emberlynna ordered as she opened the door and saw the pinkette sniper was underdressed in her undergarments.
"Huh. Ordinarily I'd like this, but your chest and ass are flat as a board, so it's not doing anything for me." Kinshiro said.
"Yaaaaaa!" Mine screamed, grabbing Pumpkin and firing at the two, who barely dodged in time to avoid the massive laser that put two huge holes in the wall that used to separate her room from the hallway and the wall behind it Kinshiro was leaning against, now a gaping hole to the outside.
From the kitchen, Akame and I looked around, wondering where that rumble came from. "What the? Why is there an explosion happening if I didn't cause it?" I questioned.
Nightshade and Katana were sparring, when they also felt the shockwave. "I sense Kinshiro did something stupid." Nightshade said.
"That scream sounded like Mine. He probably walked in on her changing." Katana guessed.
Back in the main hall, the matriarchs and patriarchs of our clans now sat at the table along with Sheele and Najenda. "Oh, Kinshiro. If Sai isn't causing trouble, it's almost always you." Ryu said.
"It spices things up a little. Things would be so dull without them." Shizune defended.
Ebon chuckled. "How entertaining."
"I don't mind a little bit of excitement." Luna added as she smiled before taking sip of her tea.
Back at the point of conflict, Kinshiro looked at the two massive holes in shock. "Well, way to go, princess! Now the base has gaping holes in it!" Kinshiro snapped.
"Well, it's your fault, you pervert! How dare you dodge!" Mine snapped, before turning and aiming at Emberlynn. "And you, you little brat, haven't you ever heard of knocking!?" Mine demanded, chasing the younger girl and firing at her, forgetting the fact she was only in her underwear.
"Get over yourself, Flatty. It's unprofessional of an assassin like yourself to sleeping in." Emberlynn rebuked, effortlessly avoiding the underwear clad pinkette.
"Why you!" Mine snapped, doubling her efforts to shoot the younger girl.
Back with our parents, Sheele and Najenda, Leone suddenly slid into view from the hallway. "Hey, is there some sort of festival going on?" She asked, waving her arms excitedly, believing the numerous explosions to be fireworks.
Sheele then looked up from her book. "She's really going all out."
"Kinshiro and Emberlynn are in for a LONG day." Najenda said with a smirk.
"What doesn't kill them makes them stronger." Ryu said simply.
"Are you sure your daughter will be okay with that pink-haired psycho?" Shizune asked Ebon and Luna.
"Of course. Nothing to worry about." Luna said to the fellow matriarch.
"Our little Ember is stronger than she looks." Ebon said pridefully.
Later on, back in the capital, Kinshiro and Emberlynn looked around, noticing everyone seemed to be looking down, deeply depressed. "Man, everyone's miserable wherever you look." Kinshiro said.
"Yeah, no kidding. We knew the capital sucks and everything, but still." Emberlynn said.
"Hey, pervy and puny! Over here! What's the hold up?! Chop chop!" Mine called to them.
"How am I the perv? I didn't walk in on her." Kinshiro said.
"And who is she calling puny? At least my chest isn't smaller than mosquito bites." Emberlynn said.
"Aren't you two supposed to be my faithful servants for the day?" Mine questioned.
"I'm not your faithful anything, least of all a servant." Kinshiro said.
"Exactly. We're not here to lick your boots and crap. You're just our supervisor." Emberlynn added.
"And the operative word there is super. Now come on, we don't have a lot of time!" Mine ordered, turning and flipping her hair as she walked away.
"Jeez, what's got her panties in a bunch?" Kinshiro asked.
"Beats me." Emberlynn said.
They followed her and continued to see nothing but miserable people, even some people laying weakly on the ground, the guards just looking at them. "Man, this place is the absolute pits, isn't it. Look at these poor folks." Kinshiro said.
"They live in fear of the government and the economy sucks. Almost everyone's either at rock bottom or on their way down. You wouldn't be that chipper, either." Mine stated.
"Go ahead and cry. Nobody's listening." The trio heard a bit of ruckus in a alleyway sees two men bullying a little girl, one of them's choking her against the wall.
"Hey, bastards!" Emberlynn called out, approaching the two, but Mine cut her off.
"Shouldn't you two jerks be picking on someone your own size?" She asked.
"You gonna do something about it?" The fat one asked with his arms crossed.
"It's fine. This little girl's a refugee from outside of the country. I mean, she could be a traitor any second." The skinny guy said.
"So could I-" Mine began, but Kinshiro began to growl, demonic energy rising off from him.
"It's precisely that ignorance that will destroy you pathetic humans faster than this empire or any demon lord would." Kinshiro said, entering his Devil Trigger, becoming a 9 foot tall, humanoid dragon, made from brimstone with lava flowing through vein-like channels all over his body with bat-like wings on his back. Mine quickly hurried over and covered the girl's eyes. "If there's one thing my clan NEVER tolerates, it's the abuse of innocent children." He said, opening his mouth and inhaling, the souls coming out of the men's chest and flying into his mouth, their bodies collapsing dead on the ground.
"Serves them right." Emberlynn said as she disposed their bodies with her dark flames.
Kinshiro turned back to his human form and Mine allowed the girl to see once again, starting to walk away. "Thank you for saving me." The girl said.
"Don't thank me." Mine said, stopping in her tracks, shocking the girl, but not facing her. "Just grow up strong so you can protect yourself, okay?" She told the girl, before continuing to walk away.
"Well, well... Looks like our pink princess has a soft side after all." Kinshiro said.
Emberlynn nodded. "Yup. Sure does." She added.
They caught back up with her outside the alley. "So, you good to be walking around in broad daylight? With wanted posters of Night Raid around everywhere?" Kinshiro asked.
"Huh, why not? They only I identify four of us so far." Mine said as she showed them the four members.
"Makes sense. They'll never expect more of us so far." Emberlynn said, as she noticed the picture of Bulat. "Is that, Bul? He almost looks like a completely different person." She asked, pointing at his wanted poster.
"It was him during his army days. He changed his look before joining Night Raid." Mine answered.
"Not bad. I'd say it's an improvement over the pompadour. Only Elvis and Dumplin can pull those off." Kinshiro said.
"Dumplings? What are you talking about?" Mine asked, looking at Kinshiro like he was crazy.
"Dumplin. Just a friend and ally back home." Emberlynn said, referring to the certain Demon God.
"Whatever. The boss gave this mission to us BECAUSE we can walk around freely." Mine explained.
"That makes sense to me." Kinshiro said like a certain pink cartoon starfish.
"Good! Now it's time for our retail investigation!" Mine declared with a bright smile, raising her left fist high into the air.
"Sounds good- wait, retail? As in... shopping?!" Kinshiro asked incredulously.
"I don't like the sound of this." Emberlynn groaned.
First, the group was shown at some kind of food stand or small restaurant, Mine enjoying a crepe while Kinshiro had one in each hand, alternating bites between them and Emberlynn was stuffing her face with her two.
Next, they were in some sexy clothing store, Kinshiro trying his best to avoid looking like a perv in such a store while Mine was looking at a sexy red bra with black lace that was ENTIRELY too big for her small chest, which she visibly looked ashamed at with Emberlynn snickering behind her back.
Shortly after, Mine pointed to a dress she liked. She was then shown walking happily down the street as a furious Kinshiro was carrying her stuff along with a deadpan Emberlynn.
Soon enough, the group was stopping for coffee and sweets at a nearby cafe. "Ahh, what a day! Nothing makes me happier than a brand new pink dress!" Mine said happily.
"Well, today was essentially just a goof off day, so I guess it wasn't all bad." Kinshiro said with a shrug, leaning back in his chair.
"It was okay I guess." Emberlynn said while filing her fingernails.
Suddenly, they all heard a noise. "What's the noise about?" Kinshiro asked.
"It's an execution." Mine said simply.
"In the middle of the streets?" Kinshiro asked.
"It's pretty common here." Added the pinkette.
The three walked down where the people were gathered before seeing a severe and grostique sight. The victims were bloodied and bound to some kind of crosses. Emberlynn was shocked at first, then growls as she clinched her fist. "How can they allow this sort of thing?" She asked.
"It's all because of the minister. He's the one that put the child emperor on the throne. And he's been manipulating him ever since." Mine explained.
"Corrupting a child like that... Dirty bastard. I wish we could just end him now." Kinshiro snapped.
Flashback...
"So, why don't we just go in and end the Minister right now?" Shizune questioned.
"For one, there's too many corrupt officials just like him who would pick up where we left off, many of the Minister's family included. But more importantly, he's almost always beside the emperor, who wields one of the most powerful Imperial Arms in existence. If he could convince the emperor to use it, which of course he could easily, even you demons may struggle against it. Moreover, the lost of civilian lives would be catastrophic. It could wipe out the entire capital like nothing. We MUST prevent this at ALL costs." Najenda explained.
"So much for ending him right away." Luna sighed.
Ryu looked down and clenched his fist at this. "Damn... As much fun as that would be, we can't put innocent civilians through that. Very well." He said, looking up and facing his children. "Until such time as the Imperial Army is ready, no one is to even make an attempt on the Minister's life." He ordered.
"Yes, father." My siblings and I all said.
Ebon looked over to his children as well. "Same goes to you three. Under any circumstances, do not engaged the Minister. Is that clear?"
"Yes sir." They addressed.
End Flashback...
"Just you wait, Minister. Soon enough, your day of reckoning will be upon you." Kinshiro promised, before everything went black.
Someone was rushing through the forest as Najenda's voice was heard. "Night Raid has a new mission. This time, the target is a distant relative of Minister Honest, Iokal." She explained as a picture of the target was shown, before Najenda put a knife through his head. "He's been using the Minister's name so he can kidnap young women and beat them to death." She explained.
I entered my devil trigger for a split second and snarled at this. "Bastard." I snapped.
"Iokal also has five military guards. They're all equally guilty." She added.
"Sounds good. We'll cut these assholes down until there's no blood left for them to bleed." Draco said as he created a blood axe from his right hand.
"We won't let a single one drawn breath." Nisha said in a serious cold tone.
"I'm counting on you all." Najenda said.
Far from Iokal's mansion, the trio of Mine, Kinshiro and Emberlynn were on a lookout. The youngest of Bloodgraves used her draconic ability to enhance her eyesight to spot him. "Pretty big mansion he got there." She turned to the other two. "Think he's compensating for something?" She joked.
"The fact he has to KIDNAP women to get them to be with him doesn't help his case." Kinshiro agreed, chuckling.
"Can the jokes, you two. Here he comes." Mine said, as she lines up the shot with her Imperial Arms.
Emberlynn turned her sights to the Minister's relative who was surrounded by the women he kidnapped. "You sure you got this? It's pretty far from here." She asked.
"Yeah. I'd even be a little hard-pressed to hit it with my eye laser." Kinshiro said.
"Not to mention the women surrounding him." Emberlynn added.
"It's fine. I know what I'm doing." Mine said calmly before firing her Pumpkin and landed a headshot onto Iokal.
Kinshiro stood there with his jaw dropped. "Whoa..."
"Just to let you guys know, I'm kinda a badass sniper genius." Mine said.
"I can see that..." Emberlynn said, while in awe.
"G-good job." Kinshiro said, still a bit shocked.
Back in the forest, Iokal's five bodyguards rushed through the forest, looking for whoever killed their lord. "We must find Lord Iokal's killer at all cost!" Said one of the guards who were running with arms behind their backs like a certain anime character.
"If we don't, the Minister will have our heads!" Says the second guard.
"Oh, you Jabronies don't have to worry about that!" Draco's voiced was heard before the goons stopped at their tracks at the sight of us.
"Yeah. Because we're gonna take your heads instead." I said, drawing my Masamune and Muramasa katanas. Masamune then began to glow white, lifting up my arm holding it, pointing itself towards them. "Look at that. You're just as despicable as the minister. Masamune can't wait to purge the world of your sins." I say, lifting Muramasa, which looked to be giving off black and red flames. "And Muramasa hungers for blood. Let's not keep them waiting." I said, rushing in and impaling the closest one on the right with Masamune, before swinging wildly and hacking him to bits with Muramasa.
Draco rushed at one of them with his blood forged axe. "Welcome to the slaughter!" He declared as he smashed his axe over that fool's head before hacking his body apart.
"Uh! Man, the escape route is not ideal!" Mine grumbled.
"Dress for function, not style, pinkie." Kinshiro told her.
"I bet those guards just washed. No way they stood a chance." Emberlynn said.
"Those guards trained at the Imperial Fists temple. Ordinarily, I'd say it'd take them a while, but with those monsters you call brothers down there, they should be finished up by now." Mine explained.
"Dang. I should've asked Sai to bring me back a soul or two." Kinshiro groaned.
"So it's mission accomplished then? Glad these goons gotten what they deserved." Emberlynn said.
"Yeah. But I still hate how Iokal was using his relative's influence to get ahead! I hate that!" Mine snapped as Kinshiro used his terrakinesis to make a set of Earth stairs for her to get up the small ledge they needed to get over.
"I sense a backstory coming up." Kinshiro said to Emberlynn.
"You and me both." She said.
"I feel like being nice to you two so I should tell you both the story behind that." Mine said.
"Well, I certainly hope SOMEONE picks up that phone." Kinshiro said.
Ember smiled at Kinshiro knowingly. "Gee, why is that, Kinny?" She asked as she played along.
"Because I fucking CALLED IT~!" He declared, throwing in a sing-song tone at the end.
"I was born into one of the tribes on the western border." She started. "That means half my blood is foreign. The villagers treated me terribly because of it and no one showed me an ounce of respect. My childhood was a nightmare."
"Shit. No one deserve this kind of treatment." Emberlynn said.
"But the Revolutionary Army formed an alliance with the western tribe. So if we do end up having a new nation, people will stop caring about our differences. And no more kids will have to go through what I did growing up. I will not allow anybody else to suffer such intolerance." She added.
Kinshiro bowed his head in respect. "That's an admirable goal. You have my respect, Mine. We need more people like you, fighting intolerance. Even in our world." He said.
Emberlynn nodded in agreement. "Kinny's right. We'd appreciate to have more people like you as our allies." She said with a admirable smile.
Suddenly, they were hit by a MASSIVE tonal shift when Mine grew a wicked, greedy smile, a brink pink background behind her clashing with the dark forest, gold sparkles all around her. "Not to mention, after everything I've accomplished in the name of revolution, I'll get LOADS of reward money and grow old in the lap of luxury!" She declared, raising a hand to her face and laughing arrogantly, almost maniacally.
"We DON'T need more people like that, though." He said.
"For real though." Emberlynn said.
Suddenly, Kinshiro heard something. "We got company." He said, turning the metal part of his face to intercept the attack and break his attacker's hand.
As the attacker clutched his hand, Emberlynn wrapped her legs around his neck tightly and threw him to the nearby tree, hitting his back so hard that his back snapped. "You...you bastards will pay for assassinating the Prime Minister's own family." Said the attacker in a pain tone.
Emberlynn began forging a bow and arrow with her black flames while staring down at the attacker. "That bastard had it coming and now you'll share the same result." She said as she then fired her arrow, hitting him instantly the black flames engulfed him, making him scream in excruciating pain as it consumed him rapidly.
"Not bad, Ember." Kinshiro said, inhaling the attacker's soul as it left his body.
"Hey, who do you two think you are, going over my head like that and killing the target!?" Mine snapped.
"Oh, I'm sowwy, did we take your little kill?" Emberlynn said mockingly. "Deal with it. Iokal was your kill, let us have this one. Sharing is caring, Pinky." She added.
"Grrr! Get back here you brat! I'm gonna beat your butt with Pumpkin!" Mine yelled, chasing after the younger girl once again.
"Gonna have to catch me first, Plank Chest!" Emberlynn taunted.
Kinshiro chuckled. "Well, at least there's never a dull moment around here." He said as he followed after the girls.
Back in the capital, someone came across the wanted posters of Night Raid, also an illustration of mine and Kinshiro's Devil Triggers, albeit very poor ones. "So, fellow Imperial Arms users. And there killers... Not to mention there's rumors of demons in the capital..." A man said in a dangerously low, menacing voice, before his voice elevated in pitch as he let out a giddy, maniacal giggle. "How utterly delightful." He said happily. "I must get my hands on them." He said in his lower dangerous voice.
"Hey!" A guard called as a pair of them walked to the opening in the alleyway and saw him.
Everything went red as he looked back at the guard with a glare. Then, in an instant, he dashed past them, hands in his pockets as the guards' heads rolled off. "I think the Imperial Capital's gonna be the perfect place for my new home. It's so crowded, there's a new victim around every corner!" He declared giddily once again as he looked up, an insane grin, massive grin on his face, a green eye as an Imperial Arm situated on his forehead.
