Ow ow ow ow ow ow ooow! I was hoping not to get into trouble, but dang I should have seen this coming.

"AND LASTLY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THESE-THESE", Tara shouted looking behind me.

"Uuh pirates", Said one of the pirates

"PIRATES?! MARI REALLY?!", Tara shouted again grabbing my ear tighter.

"Ooowww, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry"

"Sorry isn't going to cut it!", Tara shouted letting me go then grabbing my shirt, "For now on you are staying by my side and won't do anything UNLESS I tell you to, DO YOU HEAR ME MARICELA!?" She shouted angrily.

"Mmhmm mmhmm mhmm", I said nodding really fast.

"Good"

"What's going on out here?", The Captain of the pirates asked while walking off the ship.

"Uuuh, drama sir"

"Drama?", said the Captain, "Oh,… I ssseee"

Tara let me go and walked over to the Captain, she introduced herself then asked why I was with them. The sum it all up: I was in a cave doing some exploring, I ran into these guys fighting, I helped them out, and I agreed to help them out some more for a little while. Tara looked back at me with a serious gaze that made me freeze in place then turned back around to the Captain. I would relax myself right now, buuut I think I feel Gaspard staring me down from behind, I dare not to turn around.

"Let me introduce myself, my name is Elijah Stuart, Captain of the Loca Dodgers", Elijah said proudly, "So what brings you guys to Cool Ranch?"

"Um", Tara said with a shocked look.

Oh no. We can't tell them we're looking for the map pieces for El Dorado, that would make us enemies. And I don't want to be enemies with these guys, they're actually really cool.

"We're...um...lllooking for-

"Hey Eli!", shouted Betty, "Who do we give these mandrakes to again?!", she asked pointing backwards with her thumb.

"Mandrakes!", Tara shouted, "We need those, please"

"Whoa whoa, what you need 'em for?", Elijah asked shocked.

Tara explains that there was a rooster wounded by someone with dark magic and that they really need to get some mandrakes for him as soon as possible. When Eli heard this, he commanded Betty to give some of the mandrakes to her. With a quick bow and a thank you, Tara turned around and ran back to the village. I...followed Tara 'cause I didn't want to get into trouble if I wasn't by her side, that and...Gaspard. We went into a place what was called a temple an there I saw the rooster, and he does not look good.

"Here are the mandrakes you need", Tara said giving the plants to the bison.

"That was mighty quick, but nonetheless, you are not too late", said the bison.

The bison took the mandrake and start shredding it with a knife until half of it was in a bowl along with some white and yellow powder, next he took some water that flow through the temple and mixed it together. Now he's feeding the mixed...whatever to the rooster, then lays him back down.

"The masked bird will live, but his strength will be slow", said the bison sounding relieved, "Though I must ask, where is Tonka? He should be here"

"He was...taken"

"Taken captive? By whom?", the bison asked sounding nervous while standing up.

"We don't know, we got there late"

"This news fills my heart with dread, we must find out who has done this", said the bison gripping his hand, "Wait...I know a way, it is a long shot, but I know a way"

"What is it?"

"Go to the top of Elder Bluff, that isn't too far from here, and make an offering at the Great Totem", said the bison, "If you call, the Thunderbird will answer"

"Okay, we will do that"

Yikes this feels very serious. I think we've gotten into something in over our heads...aaagain. First the map, now this. Anyway, Tara caught me up on what she and group have been doing while I was away. Dang, talk about unlucky. But we got a spirit by our side, which is neat. We made our way to the docks and saw Rebecca and Eli talking while our group, his group, and some bison help unload some items from the ship and move them to the village.

"Oh hey, welcome back", Eli said smiling.

"What with that smile? What were you two talking about?", I asked putting my hands on my hips smirking.

"Oh shut up!", Rebecca shouted with an angry look.

"We were just talking about what you guys were actually looking for"

"What?", Tara and I said surprised.

"Yea it's not a secret"

"How could you tell him that?!", I shouted.

"Whoa whoa ladies please", Eli said waving his hands, "Looking for Captain Blood's treasure is no secret around here"

"Wh-what?", I said.

"I mean yea, my crew and I are looking for it too"

"Yyyyeeeaaa Captain Blood heheheh", I said.
