When we last saw the group of summoned heroes, they were given the task of freeing the four Divine Beasts corrupted by calamity Ganon by Princess Zelda, through the message of impa. The first Divine beast they decided to free was the closest one to Kakariko Village, Divine Beast Vah Ruta, who resided in the Lanaryu Region, the home of the Zora Race.

Along the way, the group took a side excursion to Hateno Village, visiting Impas sister, Purah at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. Purah helped to complete Links unfinished Sheikah Slate by giving it the function of a Camera Rune, giving access to a camera function and album of pictures that Zelda supposedly took with the slate itself. Visiting these locations could jog links memory. Also, if they come back with any ancient parts from Guardians, Purah could upgrade Links Bomb and Stasis runes to be more powerful.

Now it was off to Zoras Domain for the heroes first true task…

"So chase, when you use your "Quirk", what exactly do we need to look out for when you use it?" Katara asked as they headed for Zoras domain.

"Well, you just need to look out for when i call for us to huddle up. When i do that, we'll be given a pause in a battle and we can come in to discuss how to counterattack." Chase said.

"Okay, thats interesting." Ace said.

"Sounds like your quirk has a sorta group thing goin on." Raimundo said. "Is that why you dont think you'll be good at this hero stuff?"

"Well, actually… the reason is-" Chase said before they were suddenly besieged by heavy rain.

"Hey, its raining!" Luck said.

"Well, it wouldnt be a region of marine base creatures without a little rain. And i think that bridge leads to the domain, so… that way." Chase said as they headed towards the bridge.

"Say, hey there! Young ones!" a voice called out.

"Huh? Who said that?" Katara asked as they all looked around.

"Up top! Above you!" the voice called out again as they looked towards the left most tower of the bridge. They then saw something jump off it and land in front of them stylishly. From the fish like appearance, it was definitely a Zora, as Impa explained they were marine-humaniod creatures. But this one was taller than most by a little, with red skin and a regal appearance.

Sidon

Zora Prince

"Pardon the entrance, but the one youre accompanying is a Hylian, isnt he? And i assume youre humans as well?" the zora asked. "I was hoping perhaps we could have a moment to talk."

"Hahaha! Who are you, fish guy?" Luck asked.

"Oh, pardon me," the zora apologized. "I am Sidon, the Zora Prince!" he said posing and showing off a real toothy, glinting smile. "And what might your names be?"

"Im link." Link introduced.

"Oh, uh… My name is Chase." Chase said, not knowing what to make of the Zora at first.

"My names Katara." Katara followed.

"Sup, im Raimundo." Raimundo was next.

"You can just call me Ace." Ace said adjusting his hat.

"And my names Luck! Nice to meet you!" luck introduced in his usual cheery manner.

"Link, Chase, Katara, Raimundo, Ace and Luck? Those are fantastic names! Hmm… though i cant shake the feeling ive heard the name link somewhere before…." Sidon pondered. "But in any case, those are all strong names."

"You really think so?" Raimundo asked.

"Tell me, you all must be strong warriors among your kind, correct?" Sidon asked.

"Yeah! Really strong!" Luck answered for the group.

"Hey, dont answer for us! We dont even know what he wants!" Ace reminded.

"There is no need to worry, your friend does speak the truth. I have an eye for talent as i am a Zora prince after all," Sidon said. "Regardless, i have been searching for people like you for a long while. Those like you, who carry themselves with power! Right now, Zora's Domain is in grave danger because of the massive rainfall from Divine Beast Vah Ruta."

"One of the divine beasts is causing this?" Katara asked.

"Yes, indeed it is." Sidon said.

"Well, what a coincidence." Rainmundo smirked. "We were just on our way to Zoras domain to ask about the Divine Beast around here. So if youre lookin' for people to help you out… were your guys."

"Excellent! Thank you, all of you. You are indeed the people i thought you were!" Sidon complimented. "Zora's Domain will now be saved for certain! No time to waste! Hurry up and head over!"

"It looks like its gonna be a long trek though. We'll have to take the main road since we cand climb up the cliffs as the rains soaking them." CHase said.

"Yes, and you cant swim up the river like we Zora can." Sidon said.

"Not exactly like id be able to, anyway…" Ace said to himself.

"There will be monsters that use electrical attacks along the way, so you'll be in for some fighting. But dont give up! I belive in you all!" Sidon smiled again.

"Hes a bit odd, but he means well. We can definitely trust this guy." Chase thought. "Alright. We'll take the main road, and we'll be careful."

"Very good. I shall go on ahead and make sure there is not anything strange going on where you are headed. Im counting on you all!" Sidon aid before he backflipped into the river and swam ahead.

"...Odd guy." Raimundo said.

"But hes got a lot of confidence in us. Wed better not let him down." Ace said.

"Alright, let's get going! If there are monsters ahead, that means we'll get to fight a whole bunch! Let's go!" Luck said running ahead.

"Hey, don't be so reckless, sparky!" Raimundo said as they all ran after him.

The Path to Zoras domain was Long, and winding. Since the endless rainfall made it impossible to scale the cliffisdes, the heroes had to take the long way around, constantly stopping to fight one-eyed bats surging with electricity called Electric Keese. There were also Lizard Monsters called Lizalfos along the path that bombarded the group with electric arrows.

That is, they wouldve had it not been for Luck. he raced ahead of the group so many times, he encountered all the Lizalfos blockades before the rest of them did, taking care of them almost instantly when they arrived. The reason for that being that Lucks arms and legs were covered in a sort of armor made from lighting. It was then that they truly realized that what he was doing was magic.

"So you weren't kidding about all that magic stuff?" Raimundo asked.

"Nope! In my world, magic is everything, and we distribute it through our grimoires," Luck explained. "That's the book ive got with me, by the way."

"And from all the electricity, it's clear your magic attribute is lightning." Katara said.

"Yup! Pretty cool, right? If you guys want more demonstration of it, we can spar." Luck said.

"Maybe later." Chase said. "Because were finally here. We've made it to Zoras Domain."

The city that laid host to the Zora people was a fairly large blue colored palace made of stone that stood on a foundation over a huge lace below. Waterfalls surged everywhere down into it.

Raimundo Whistled. "Man, this place really takes fancy to a whole new level."

"I know. I wonder what would happen if the Northern watter tribe had this type of structure to it?" Katara asked.

"It mustve taken a big construction job to make this place." Chase agreed. "Lets see, Sidon told us that hed meet us in the Domains throne room, which is probably at the top level of this place. So, lets go there."

The group ventured up the Domains foundation to the throne room, where Sidon awaited with two other Zora. there was an incredibly large one sitting in the throne, who could only be their leader, with Sidon to his right and a manta ray elderly Zora to his left. The big zora had a sort of whale shark like vibe to him.

"Ah! Welcome my friends! Good to see youve made it here!" Sidon greeted.

"The journey wasn't exactly a walk in the park, that's for sure." Raimundo replied.

"So you are the Hylian and group of humans Sidon informed me about. You did well to make it here. I am Dorephan, King of the Zora." the large zora introduced himself.

"Its a pleasure to meet you, your highness." Chase said.

"LIkewise to myself as well." Dorephan said, before seeing the Sheikah Slate on Links person. "I see that Hylian there has a Sheikah Slate. Now that i get a better look at him… there is no doubt. He is Link, the Hylian Champion."

"What? Hes that link? No wonder his name rang familiar! A truly fated coincidence that weve crossed paths." Sidon siad.

"Wait, youve met link before?" Katara asked.

"Yes, countless times in fact. Ah, so many memories. My mind is overwhelmed with nostalgia. I had heard a terrible rumor that you had fallen in battle. But it looks like you survived. Extraordinary!" Dorephan said.

"Actually, thats not accurate. He was mortally wounded protecting Princess Zelda, so he had to be taken to the Shrine of Ressurection to be revived. He's now here over a hundred years later, which is why he looks so young." Chase said. "The good news is, hes back to help save hyrule and were helping him out. The bad news is… well… he's got amnesia. He's lost every single one of his memories."

"What? All of them? But surely he must remember my daughter Mipha. He does, does he not?" Dorephan asked.

"Mipha who?" Link asked.

"So...it is true. You have even forgotten my dear Mipha as well. You and Mipha were close and yet you do not remember her. Look upon Zora's Domain! Do you see the crystal statue? Does gazing upon Mipha's immortalized form not jog your memory?" Dorephan asked.

"Im gonna take a wild ballpark guess and say Mipha was your chosen champion?" Raimundo asked.

"Yes. She was…. When she was still alive." Dorephan said.

"So, if she's your daughter, that must've made her the Zora Princess. And if Sidon's the prince, that must make her…" Katara started.

"My older sister. You are correct." Sidon said, a hint of sadness in his voice.

"That statue was erected to be a reminder of the Zora's Champion as well as something to remind me of my own daughter." Dorephan said.

"We heard about what happened to her along with the other three champions 100 years ago. Im sorry about what happened." Chase said somberly. "But dont worry, were going to try and fix it. And were gonna start by reclaiming Divine Beast Vah Ruta, the very vessel she was chosen to control."

"Which brings us to my request. Right now, Zoras Domain is in danger of vanishing due to Ruta. I must speak very bluntly, we alone cannot stop it," Dorephan explained. "Will you lend us your strength?"

"What?!" the elderly Zora to Dorepgans left spoke up. "My liege, we cant ask these…..landwalkers for help. The very idea curls my fins!"

"Muzu, how can you still protest? I expected more from you." Dorephan said.

"It is rude to speak that way of father, and the guests I have brought here myself," Sidon added. "With such unprecedented rainfall, we have no choice but to rely on outside help."

"Is the trouble Vah Ruta causing really that big for you to ask us to take care of it?" Ace asked.

"Indeed it is. Right now, ZOras DOmain, nay, all of hyrule is in danger of being swallowed up by the sea," Dorephan answered. "This is bigger than all of us."

"But have you forgotten, my liege?" Muzu piped in again. "We cannot trust these lowly land walkers. 100 years ago, they abused the power of the ancient civilization and turned Hyrule into what it is today. It is their fault that Lady Mipha was lost to us."

"Hey, thats rude of you to judge us there, pops. The five of us arent even from around here." Raimundo said.

"But that doesnt mean we'll try and help. So, from what im getting, Vah Ruta is causing this endless rainstorm, but how is it doing it?" Katara asked.

"The Divine Beast has the very special ability to create an endless supply of water, which it has been mercilessly spouting into the air," Dorephan said. "It is the reason this land has been plagued with heavy rainstorms as of late."

"But that shouldnt be a problem for you guys, right? Arent you similar to fishmen?" Ace asked.

"True, water and air to us Zora are as one. Sadly though, the rains have filled the eastern reservoir to the point of flooding. I fear that when it bursts, as it soon will, it will flood all of Hyrule. I fear for the lives of the Hylians who live below." Dorephan said.

A loud trumpeting resembling an elephants then sounded from afar.

"Listen. That is its call from the reservoir." Dorephan said.

Far off from the domain in the East Resivoir, a giant elephant made of stone with glowing red lights around it, was rising from the surface of the water as it sprayed water into the air.

"I'm thinking that's where were supposed to go to get to the thing," Chase said.

"So, whatre we waiting for? Let's go!" Luck said.

"Attacking it now would not be wise. Vah Ruta has a defensive shield around it. But there is a way to stop it. Shock Arrows." Sidon said. "Firing one at a target sends out a burst of electricity. We can use them to stop the flow of water coming from ruta."

"We've gathered a few along the way, but id think wed need a lot more." Chase said.

"Indubitably. Bit theres a problem. Only Muzu knows where to find them, and given his current position on the crisis at hand, he is not willing to share so easily." Sidon said. "Though, i cannot blame him for he was miphas instructor 100 years ago."

"There must be a way to convince him to change his mind." Katara said.

"I'm sure you will find it. For now, as a show of good faith to Link, please accept this." Dorephan said handing him blue armor with silver plating. "The Zora Armor."

Taking it, the group headed down towards mipahs statue where Muzu was.

"Hey there, pops." Raimundo said.

"You all have come here in vain. I have no desire to speak with you." Muzu said.

"Muzu, although I was young at the time when Mipha was close with Link. I know without a doubt that she had fallen in love with the Hylian Champion." Sidon said.

"We know you hate our kind for what happened before, but if were not able to stop Ruta, everyone will suffer, including you," Chase said. "If you really taught mipha everything, then you should honor her, and her wishes to protect this land… and Link as well."

"You...you cannot deceive me with such a lie. Not this Zora. How could she have feelings for this Hylian? He remembers nothing!" Muzu said as Link looked to the statue of Mipha. As he looked at it, he felt a flashback.

It showed Link along with Mipha sitting atop Vah Ruta's trunk as she healed him.

"I was thinking...this reminds me of the time we first met. You were such a reckless child, always getting yourself hurt at every turn. Every time, I would heal your wound just as I'm doing right now. I thought it was funny that, being a Hylian, that you looked so much more grown-up than I did. I was always willing to heal your wounds, even back then." she said finishing. "So if this Calamity Ganon does indeed return, what can we do? We don't seem to know much about what we're up against. But know this, no matter how difficult the battle gets, if you...if anyone tries to do you harm, I will heal you. No matter when, no matter how bad the wound. I hope you know, that I will always protect you. Once this whole thing is over, maybe things can go back to how they used to be when we were young. You know...perhaps we could spend some time together."

Link then flashed back to reality.

"Link, are you okay?" Katara asked in concern. "What happened?"

"Mipha…. I remember her." Link said. "I definitely remember her."

"Y'hear that pops?" Raimundo asked. "Link does remember Mipha. He said so himself."

"What? Don't lie to me. There's no way he could've remembered Lady Mipha just now when it was so convenient." Muzu said. "Unless you all have actual proof to show for it, I cannot believe anything you land walkers say."

Chase groaned. "Cmon, work with us here!"

Katara then gasped, getting an idea. "Link, the Zora Armor! Put it on!"

"What?" Link asked.

"Just do it!" Katara assured.

"Okay…" Link nodded before putting the Zora Armor on, as it fit perfectly on him.

"Thats… the Zora armor? It was made from hand by Lady Mipha, and yet… it first him perfectly. But how? What is the meaning of this?!" Muzu asked.

"Oh, i get it…" Raimundo said. "Hey Sidon, did your older sis have the hots for Link or something?"

"Yes, i see you understand. My dear sisters heart did truly belong to link." Sidon said. "Link wearing it now should be proof enough that Mipha made the armor for him and him alone."

"You dislike hylians, we get that. But now you know the truth and who Mipha loved." Katara said. "She never told you because of your hatred for people like us. BUt now that the truth is right in front of you, we could really use your help."

"The girl is right, Muzu. Please, tell us where these heroes cna find the Shock Arrows they need," Sidon requested. "Knowing you, i bet youve already figured it out."

"I never wouldve imagined she would make the special armor for one such as him…." Muzu said to himself before sighing. "Very well. I do not approve of asking help from ones like you, but it is our only option at this point. I shall tell you where to find the location of the shock arrows. You can find as many as you need at Shatterback Point, high up on Poylmus Mountain to the east. There, a beast called a Lynel is always shooting volleys of shock arrows."

"Ah yes, that Lynel! A terrifying man-beast indeed!" Sidon said. "They always wield shock arrows, and its a good way to collect them quickly. Regardless of the challenge, im sure the six of you will rise to it. Collect about 20 shock arrows, then meet me at the East Reservoir Lake, where we shall attack Vah Ruta together."

"Got it, Sidon. No hard feelings if we die up there before we meet up." Chase said.

"You sound like we cant beat this Lynel thing. Dont worry, we got this." Raimundo assured.

"Lets hope so," Katara said. "From what it sounds like, this monster could be a real vicious thing to mess with."

The Group headed out to the east, climbing up Polymus mountain to reach shatterback Point. Up there they saw lots of Shock arrows stuck in trees and the ground. And that was when they saw it.

It was a large, centaur like monster, with the head of a lion, humanoid arms and the body of a horse. It sensed the heroes presence for a moment, as it drew a large sword and bladed shield, rearing up on its hind legs to face them and growled, not seeing anyone as they were hiding behind a rock. To them… this was a Lynel.

"Okay… maybe i didnt account for how vicous looking that thing would be." Raimundo said.

"That thing looks a bit too strong for our liking. I dunno if we can take it on without getting a few scratches, or worse," Chase siad, unknowingly not noticing lighting crackle behind him as he was talking. "Weve got about ten shock arrows already. So how about we just grab the ones lying around the summit without that thing seeing us, make our sneaky getaway and then…"

"YAHOO!" They heard luck cheer, leaping itnto the air with his Thundergod Gloves and boots equipped.

"Dammit, Luck!" Chase said as Luck hovered over the Lynel as it spotted him.

The lynel roared before drawing its bow and firing a few shock arrows at luck, who dodged them all in midair.

"Aw, too bad! Now its my turn!" Luck said. "Lighting Magic: Thunderbolt Destruction!"

Luck fired continuous orbs at the Lynel, who shrugged them off as Luck charged at the beast with a smile of pure joy and malice. The Lynel then switched to its melee weapons and swatted luck aside with the flat of its blade.

Luck skidded to a halt in front of his teammates, who had their weapons drawn and in fighting positions.

"What were you thinking?!" Chase asked.

"Hahahah! Sorry, but this guy really strong, and I really wanted to have some real fun, not like with those other monsters we met earlier." Luck said.

"I didnt realize you were such a battle maniac, but you're supposed to stick together with us." Chase said.

"I know, but when i see a strong enemy, i cant help it!" Luck poorly defended.

"You're one crazy kid…" Ace said.

"Thanks!" Luck said.

"Dude, that wasnt supposed to be a compliment, is that lighting frying your brain?" Raimundo asked.

"Can we put the bickering on hold until after we've stopped fighting for our lives?" Katara suggested, assuming a martial arts pose.

"He's coming our way!" Link called as the Lynel charged in.

"Good! I wanna play some more!" Luck said happily and surprisingly deviously as he dashed over to the Lynel and engaged in close quarters combat with the vicious beast, clashing with its blade and shield and getting some hits in as he zipped all over the place.

"Hes gonna get himself killed. Lets see if I cant turn the tables a bit!" Raimundo said, drawing a blue blade made of tempered glass. "Blade of the Nebula!" he called s the blade glowed and turned into nunchucks connected by a miniature cyclone before he whipped it at the lynel, whacking it a bit as it smacked luck aside again and turned its attention to its new attacker, grabbing the nunchucks and pulling Raimundo forward.

"WHOA….!" raimundo screamed as he was thrown into a tree, slamming into it as he was knocked down a bit, stunned.

The lynel then turned his attention to Luck, who was blasting forward with a fiendish smile.

"I'm not done yet, not even close!" Luck said as he gave the lynel a good gash before repeatedly slashing with his gloves, the Lynel going on the back hoof. "Cmon, don't tell me thats all you've got! I wanna keep playing some more!"

The Lynel roared before sheathing its weapons and rammed Luck with its head like a bull, sending him down to the ground in a puddle. The beast then galloped up to him, sword drawn, and was about to attack before he was shot in the head.

"Hey, ugly!" Chase called as he was revealed to be the shooter. "Beating a kid isn't gonna get you any points with your Pride! Try leaving things to the Lynelness'es!"

The lynel roared in anger as it charged at Chase, the boy shooting at it before he got a lucky shot straight in its face as it was stunned, flopping to the ground for a moment on its hands.

Link took this opportunity to jump in and mount the Lynels back, stabbing it five times ask it bucked around before shaking him off.

Clearly more angered, the Lynel started blasting fireballs from his mouth everywhere, missing but burning the grass around him. Chase gave him some more blasts as he evaded the lynels swings, Raimundo attacked with his sword, and luck continued to viciously attack the lynel recklessly. They did this until the Lynel had enough and unleashed a roar so loud, id pushed everyone onto their backs.

"Ugh… this is what happens when you piss off a Lion Centuaur…" Chase groaned.

"Dont blame me, this was the crazy kids idea." Raimundo said.

"This so fun… so fun!" Luck laughed as he stood up, the Lynel approaching them. "Cmon! Lets keep fighting until one of us drops dead!"

The lynel then growled as he prepared for a BIG Swing.

"I cant belive thats gonna be his last words…." CHase said thinking it was the end because there was no way to avoid that large sword. But then, just as they thought they were gonna be sliced apart.

"Heat Haze!"

A blast of fire came from out of nowhere and hit the Lynel dead center, cutting offf its attack as it roared in pain. Then, water tendrils came and pulled the three of them back towards Katara and Ace, who surprised the group by what was going on with them.

Fire was coming off of Ace's body, notably the tips of his fingers and his shoulders and legs, even his pants (which weren't catching fire, oddly). And Katara had water surrounding her in a steady stream, rippling around her, which explained how the others were saved.

"Dude… youre on fire, Literally!" Raimundo gawekd, seeing ace. "And how are you getting the water to do that?" he asked Katara.

"This is Waterbending. And i think what hes doing is Firebending… or something. Ive never seen a person on fire." Katara asked.

"Not sure what firebending is, this is something unique to me," Ace said. "I ate something called a Devil Fruit."

"So, what you ate was called a… Fireberry or something?" Chase asked.

"Close. It was called the Flame-Flame Fruit. Thanks to eating it, im a Fire Human." Ace said.

The Lynel recovered from its burns and growled.

"Anyway, were not getting anywhere just by doing our own thing," Ace said. "Only way this things getting put down is if we work together."

"Ace is right," Katara nodded. "Were a team, arent we? We should act like it."

Luck calmed down and sighed a bit. "Youre right. Im sorry guys. It was a force of habit," he said. "Still, i really do wanna keep fighting this thing till it drops."

Chase smiled. "Then how about you stick with us this time and work with us instead of going solo, thunder boy?"

Luck smiled. "Okay!"

(Cue: Under Control by GoMad!)

"Alright then, enough messing around!" Chase said putting his headphones on as music was playing as he reloaded his guns as they all grouped together with link.

The lynel growled as it drew its bow and fired shock arrows into the air as they rained down, the group dodged.

Chase rolled on the ground and shot the Lynel from afar as it turne its attention to him, drawing its sword and shield and swung at him triply, the boy dodging from afar as he got a bit of distance.

"Stop it cold, Raimundo!" Chase called.

"On it!" Raimundo said. "Wudai Star: Wind!" he called blasting a powerful blast of wind by clapping hs hands together, making the Lynel stop in place.

"Tear it up, Luck!" Chase gabe his next order to luck.

"This is gonna be fun!" Luck cheered as he slashed at the lynel from all directions, cutting it all over.

The beast burst free with another breaking roar before shooting anotehr triple fireball attack. It charged again, but Link used the updraft from the fire to get into the air and shoot it in the head with his bow to stun it again, attacking it from its back as he led it to a large puttdle.

"Katara, pin it down!" CHase called to the waterbender.

"Got it!" Katara said using her water bending to restrain the Lynel with dozens of water tendrils. It growled as it tried to break free.

"All you, Ace!" Chase said.

"You guys might wanna step back." Ace warned as he pulled back his fist in an aming position as flames gathered in his hand.

The lynel broke free from his water bindingings and charged at ace, ready to take him down. But ace was smirking as he was ready to go, and let loose his attack.

"Fire Fist!"

(end song)

Ace threw a punch which exploded in flames that enveloped the Lynel completely, roaring as it burned to ashes. The burst of flames exploded over the peak of Polymus Mountain, the Zora a bit surprised by what happened.

In the aftermath, all that was left of the Lynel were a couple of horns and hooves, and two bundles of ten shock arrows each.

"Whoa! You smoked that thing!" Raimundo cheeree.

"I knew you were strong!" Luck added.

Katara sighed. "Definitely not a fire bender, but hes as strong as one, maybe even better." she said to herself.

Link collected the shock arrows from the lynels remains, and around the summit.

"Now, we should have enough shock arrows to attack the Divine Beast with. Lets get to the reservoir." Link said.

"Sure thing." Ace said. "Hey, chase. You did pretty good giving out those orders. I dont see why you cant be a great leader, or everything you say youre not."

"Thanks, Ace. I really appreciate it." Chase nodded as the group paraglided off the peak one by one. "(But still… that battle was close. I still think I'm not good enough. Heres hoping we get lucky again… inside Divine Beast Vah Ruta.)"
