After leaving Death Mountain, the Summoned Heroes and Link ventured off towards the Tabantha Region. As they were told by Impa that Divine Beast Vah Medoh was piloted by a champion coming from the Bird-Like Rito Race, the most obvious course of action was to head to the Rito's Home Village to get as much information as they could from their Elder.

Traveling to Rito Village from all the way in Death Mountain took a few days, and along the way they did make a few stops, which included helping another scientist like Purah, named Robbie, get his lab working in pristine condition to supply them with Ancient Weapons and Armor to help them with the corrupted Guardians.

After a bit of a journey, they finally closed in on Rito Village. It looked to be built on top of a stone spire, houses and other things scattered around it, and at the top looked to be a stone perch.

"Wow… these Rito sure have a way with building settlements, huh?" Raimundo asked, as they were crossing the bridges to it.

"It kinda reminds me of the Air Temples i visited back home." Katara said.

"In any case, weve finally made it here, so lets see about talking to the Village Elder here about-" Chase started before a loud screech suddenly pierced the air and reached their ears. They looked up, WAY up into the sky, and saw it.

Flying high in the air, circling the village below, was the very thing they were looking for. The massive Sheikah weapon modeled after the visage of a hawk with large spanning wings. under each wing were three propellors, and two on its underside keeping it aloft. And of course, it was lit up with the red glow of Calamity Ganons corruption.

"-Divine Beast Vah Medoh. Oh boy…" Chase finished, looking up at how high in the air the superweapon was, compared to him the others, just mere specs on the ground.

"And just like that, this mission just got a whole lot harder," Raimundo said. "How exactly are we supposed to get to the thing when its flyin' so high up?"

"Well, you got me,' Ace said. "I dont have any ideas."

"We'll have to figure something out." Katara said.

"Elder first, impossible task of getting to high-flying divine beast later." Chase said.

They then ventured their way through Rito Village, going up each level until they reached the top, seeing Rito of every different color and shape as they went along. Finally, they reache the top where they saw the Elder of the village, a large, owl-like elderly Rito.

"Oh, visitors. We don't get much of those lately. Welcome to…" The Owl elder said before he spotted Links Sheikah Slate. "Oh. Oh! That object on your hip, could it be?" he asked link.

"Yes, this is a Sheikah Slate." Link answered.

"Hoo! So it is true! Then you all must be Champions, those who can appease the Divine beasts! …Actually, their descendants rather, since the CHampions have all been dead for 100 years…" The elder said.

"Should we tell him…?" Katara asked.

"No, we should let him stick to his beliefs. I don't think he would even process the whole thing," Chase whispered before turning back to the elder. "Sir, Links the champion Descendant. The five of us are chosen heroes, summoned from… elsewhere."

"I see. Forgive my assumptions of the five of you. Oh, and where are my manners, I've yet to introduce myself," the elder said. "My name is Kaneli. I am the elder of Rito Village."

"Oh. Well, it's nice to meet you." Luck said.

"If you don't mind, we'll get straight to the point," Raimundo said. "Were here about that Divine Beast circling your village."

"You know of our troubles, I see. I assume youve already appeased the other two Divine Beasts that lie to the east?" Kaneli said.

"That's right. We've brought back Vah Ruta and Vah Rudania to our side so far. And now, we're here to see if we can somehow do the same for Vah Medoh." Chase explained.

"That is something I was hoping you be inclined to partake in from the start," Kaneli said. "I tried explaining this to the more headstrong of our warriors, but they wouldn't listen to reason. Both Teba and Harth tried to engage Vah Medon themselves, but it did not go well. Harth was gravely injured, and now I fear Teba plans to re-engage Vah Medoh on his own."

"That won't end well if he goes alone," Ace mentioned.

"I agree," Kaneli said. "That is why the six of you must meet go and meet up with Teba. I am sure that if all of you work together with him, you can bring Divine Beast Vah Medoh back to the side of good."

"Sounds like a plan. Know where we can find him?" Chase asked.

"He should be at the Flight Range, at the base of the Hebra Mountains. It is where all Rito Warriors go to hone their skills. Our Champion, Master Revali, who has long since passed, set it up 100 years ago. Go to Revali's Landing, take off from it, and use your Paragliders to head to the Flight Range from there."

Link looked out the window to see the Landing Deck with a symbol on it. As he gazed upon it, he soon was witnessing another flashback.

Link was standing on the very same takeoff Deck as a Black Feathered Rito in champions garb flew up from a strong gust of wind and landed right in front of him.

"Impressive, I know. Very few can achieve total mastery of the sky. Yet I have made it an art of creating an updraft that allows me to soar. It's considered to be quite the masterpiece of aerial techniques, even among the Rito. With proper utilization of my aerial skills, I see no reason why we can't easily disperse with Ganon." the black-feathered Rito said.

"You shouldn't act so superior compared to others, Revali," Link said. "You know what happens to those who brag about themselves."

"Ah, I don't brag. I tell the truth. Let us not forget I am the most skilled archer of all the Rito. Yet despite these truths, I am to merely assist you. All because you happen to have that darkness sealing sword on your back. I mean, its just...asinine," revali said. "Unless… you think you can prove me wrong? Maybe we should just settle this one one one?"

"But where exactly should we settle our differences?" Link asked.

"Oh, i know," Revali answered. "How about up there?!" he pointed up to Divine Beast Vah Medoh, flying so high in the sky.

"What? Up there, are you crazy?!" Link asked.

"Oh, you must pardon me. I forgot that you have no way of making it up to that divine beast on your own!" Revali chuckled as he took to the sky to fly up to Vah Medoh. "Good luck sealing the darkness!"

Link flashed back to the present, reeling a bit, but smirking.

"Ink, are you alright? It was another memory, wasnt it? What did you recall?" Katara said.

"Just a fellow champion who always was a bit of a showoff," Link answered. "Shall we head to the Flight Range?"

"Sure, but first we need to gear up," Chase said. "Kaneli warned us it was gonna be cold up on the hebra mountains, so we need some gear for that."

"Except ace, because hes a walking fire." Raimundo said.

And so, the group headed down to the Rito Villages clothing store, the Brazen Beak, to purchase and get fitted each with their own set of Snowquill Armor to endure the cold (except ace of course). From there, they headed back to Revali's Landing and took off, gliding over to the base of the Hebra Mountains and reaching the flight range.

"Hello? Is there a Rito here by the name of Teba?" Katara asked, first to climb the ladder to head inside, seeing a white feathered Rito in armor near a takeoff deck to a target range, fixing up a bow. He looked back towards the group who all came up.

"Yeah…?" He asked simply.

Teba

Rito Warrior

"I don't know any of you. And I'm actually pretty busy here. You should probably go." He said.

"But we just got here, mister," Luck said. "And we can't really leave you. Not when we're supposed to work together to beat some sense into Vah Medoh."

Teba sighed. "Let me guess, the Village Elder asked you all to come here to talk some sense into me?" he asked.

"Something like that," Raimundo said.

"Just like him to trust anyone that walks into our village. Look, you seem like all right people so let me make one thing clear: I'm not going anywhere. As a Rito Warrior, I can't rest until my people are safe." Teba said.

"So why dont the seven of us team up and attack Medoh together?" Chase asked.

"Because Medohs cannons are dangerous. I cant work with any kind of people that arent prepared to fight it," Teba said. "The only people who could even stand a chance against it, are the five Champions of old, but they all died out 100 years ago, thanks to Ganon."

"Not entirely. Youre looking at the last champion alive right now." Raimundo said, throwing his shoulder over link.

"Is he really?" Teba asked. "Then lets see if he is the real deal. Hes good with a bow, i take it."

"Very good," Raimundo said.

"Then lets make a bet of it," Teba said. "Rito warriors like me use the updrafts in this ravine to hone our aerial archery skills. If your friend can shoot down five targets with his bow while airborne in 3 minutes…then we team-up. If not, you leave me be."

"Youre on," Raimundo said.

"Are you sure you know what you got us into?" Chase asked.

"I know what I'm doing. Let's trust Link to do the same." Raimundo said.

With the rest agreeing, Link then leaped out into the Target range. Using a combination of his paraglider and bow. He was able to hit five targets in great succession in under three Minunts flat.

"He's… a skilled archer," Teba said as Link came back. "I'll be honest, when you guys showed up, I thought someone was pulling a prank. But I believe you all are the real deal. You must have seen a battle or two."

"Uh-huh! Loads of em!" Luck smiled.

"Between each of us, i think weve been in a couple fights too many," Chase said.

"Is that right? Well, if we're going to take down Medoh, it's now or never. Using the updrafts here can lift you into the same air range as Medoh. It'll also give you all free range to hit its cannons." Teba said.

"Then lets get going." Ace said as Link got on Tebas back as the rest of them were boosted up into the air on their paragliders, taking off high into the sky.

High in the air close to Vah Medoh, Teba couldnt help but ask a question.

"Hey, just curious… but why are you all doing this?" the rito warrior asked.

"For your people, just like you. And for the good of all Hyrule alongside Link." Katara mentioned.

"But if we told you the truth about where we all come from, and what Links all about, you wouldnt belive us anyway." Ace said.

They soon were in range to see Divine Beast Vah Medoh, as it putt up its barrier alongside four cannons on its outside.

"All right, its showtime," Teba said. "I'll draw its fire, and you guys use whatever resources you have to take out those cannons. As for you Link, use Bomb Arrows. Normal arrows wont even dent the thing."

"Hey, before we do this, nobody has any regrets about this, right?" Chase asked, addmitly a bit scared to fight in the air like this.

"Nope." Ace said.

"Not me!" Luck said.

"Im nervous, but we hae to do this or Hyrules doomed." Katara said.

"Lets just do this already, this is gonna be fun!" Raimundo said letting his Paraglider drop as he skydive down to the Divine beast. "Whooo-hoo-hoo!" he yelled as the other three followed him in kind, link also leaping off Teba.

Chase breathed in and out. "Oh well…" he said to himself. "Nothing ventured… nothing gained!" he yelled, dripping his paraglider and going into freefall.

(Cue: Egg Fleet- Sonic Heroes)

The six heroes dive down towards vah medoh, the Hawk Superweapon screeching at ther presence being detected, firing its laser cannons at them.

"Blast it or it'll blast us!" Chase said setting his guns to thier fire configuration as he blasted at one of the cannons. "Everyone, take a cannon each!"

"I'll get its attention!" Raimudno said using his Wudai Elemental technique to fly in the air and divert some of the cannon fired.

"Lighting Magic: Thunderbolt Destruction!" Luck called, blasting one of the cannons.

Ace generated two fire crosses from his body. "St. Elmos Fire!" he called, tossing them at another cannon damaging it.

Teba was getting its attention too, as link fired at his own cannon. He then flew into the air with another updraft, all the while Medoh was blasting at them.

"All together now, guys! Destroy its cannons, all at once!" Chase said. "Together…NOW!"

Link, Chase, Ace and Luck all attacked their designated cannons, destroying them as Medoh released a screech of pain, its shield going down.

(end song)

"Well done everyone! That thing is history!" Teba congratulated as everyone regrouped on their gliders with the flying rito.

It was then Katara noticed that Teba was struggling, his right leg was adorned with a Burn mark. He groaned in pain as it made him flinch.

"Teba, youre hurt!" Katara called out.

"Yeah, i was gonna tell you the bad news. I got hit pretty good back there. I think… i need to get back to the flight range," Teba said. "I just hope that i can make it back…. You guys head down to Medoh."

"You did great Teba, thanks so much for your help," Chase acknowledged. "Just leave the rest to us."

"Okay, good luck!" Teba replied. "Its all you!" he approved with a thumbs up. He then turned and headed back to the Flight Range, Link and the Summoend heroes descending down to Divine Beast Vah Medoh.

It was time to appease their third beast, high up in the sky.
