It had been a day since Oni and the Sons of Garmadon had been overthrown and were sent to Kryptarium Prison, and the city free from their clutches. While the city started to rebuild, thanks to Borg Industries, the Ninja and Mantis were sent among other wounded civilians that rebelled or were in hiding, and members of The Green Light to the hospital for any injuries. Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon, who had slightly grown back his beard and ageing a little more overnight, had only suffered slight hunger and dehydration, and Jay's whip marks were starting to scab and they also replaced the bandages. Lloyd suffered minor bruises from his fight with his father. Nya, of course, had a dislocated shoulder and was popped back in, but would have to wear a sling for a couple of days. Geoff's eyes showed lack of pupils and the scars all over his face would remain. Maggie had only suffered a flesh wound from the gunshot she suffered when The Green Light's base was invaded. And Blake and Scars' x-rays shown that their lost limbs were separated by their connecting bones, but there was a chance for an osseointegration which an implant is inserted into the bone in order to fit prosthetics.

But right now, they were waiting for Mantis to be released. As they wait, Dr. Hall soon came out. "Doctor." Lloyd said.

"How's Mantis?" Gewuji asked.

"He may have to stay overnight." Dr. Hall replied. "Apart from some minor sunburn, there was also the dehydration, hunger and those whip marks on his back, which are being patched up as we speak, but it's gonna take a massive amount of stitches."

"Stitches?" Mantis was heard as they all see him with a nurse. Mantis was wearing a medical garb with some bandages shown underneath and rubbed his legs a little. "That's what they put on my back?"

"Oh, you should be getting them done up."

"We just finished, doctor." The nurse said. "He wanted to see the Ninja before we put him in bed and insert the IV into him."

"IV?" Mantis asked.

"It's to stick a needle in your hand to hook up some fluids into you." Maggie replied.

Mantis soon moved towards to Jay, since he was closer. "And this undergarment I'm wearing is really uncomfortable." He whispered into his ear.

"It's your first time wearing underwear." Jay replied, whispering.

"Well, it's chafing my legs and scars."

"It'll pass." Mantis nodded before backing away.

"Maybe while you stay here, some nurses might lecture you." Kai said before smirking. "Maybe even hook you up with some numbers."

"Numbers?" Mantis asked.

"Kai, don't tease him." Gewuji said. "He still doesn't know much about our realm. Stuff likes phones, cars, televisions and instruments."

"I'm sure it'll be no problem. May take some days, but I think I'll get use to living in Ninjago."

"Then, this will be the beginning of a brand new life for you." Lloyd said, putting a hand on Mantis' shoulder.
