It has now been officially a week since Mantis had been living in Ninjago and he was starting to wonder about what parents are like, since he never knew his and wondered if his mother, the previous Master of Uranium, participated in the First Serpentine War. Kai and Nya decided to bring him along so he could meet their parents while also visiting them to reassure them they are alive as well as pick up some supplies since Dragon insisted they rebuild the monastery, since they haven't learned of Kai's survival.

Stopping his car outside Four Weapons, Mantis got out and was surprised by the appearance. "Just like the one in the First Realm." He said.

Kai and Nya soon got out. "Almost." Kai replied.

"Come on, let's go." Nya said before they head in.

Inside, Ray was busy forging a sword when he heard footsteps. "Can I help-?" He cut himself off when he saw the 'customers'. His children and a newcomer. "Kai?"

"Kai?" Maya was heard as she came out from behind the back and saw them all. "Kai!" She immediately ran towards him and started to hug him really tightly, sobbing as she did so. "Oh, you're alive."

"Easy, mom." Kai replied.

"Give him some air, mom." Nya said.

Maya then moved back. "How?" She asked.

"We were in the Realm of Oni and Dragon." Kai replied.

"The First Spinjitzu Master's home realm?" Ray asked, surprised.

"It's also where we met him." Kai points to Mantis, who nervously waved.

"Um, hello." He said.

"So, you helped bring my son home?" Maya asked.

"Uh, yes." Pretty soon, Maya ran over to hug him.

"Thank you."

"Easy, mom, he's got some wounds he's recovering from." Nya said.

Maya soon moved back. "Oh, sorry."

"I thank you too, young man." Ray said, coming up next to Maya while taking off his apron. "What's you're name?"

"Mantis." He replied.

"'Mantis'?"

"It use to be Trudogolik, but Jay picked it for me."

"He must be a naming genius." Maya said.

"So, what brings you here?" Ray asked.

"We came to pick up some material, because Master Wu is rebuilding the monastery." Nya replied. "As well as bring Mantis along to show him some weapons."

"Well, there's not much here, just a few swords, armour, daggers and whatnot."

"I can see that." Mantis said as he looked at most of them before noticing something and picked it up.

"That was one of our most difficult ones of all. Razor chain whips."

"Seems nice." He soon picked up another one. "I'll take two. How much?"

"Oh, please, you're a friend of my children. They're on the house."

"I guess, thanks."

"We also came to ask you something." Nya said.

"What, dear?" Maya asked.

"Mantis is an Elemental Master. A Master of Uranium."

"Uranium?" Ray asked. "I've never heard of it."

"Then, you don't know about my mother then."

"I'm sorry." Maya said. "Wish we knew."

"Don't blame yourself. I was hoping to find out something about her before we all ended up in the First Realm. I can't even remember her face, or name."

"I'm sure you'll find it. After all, as Kai and Nya are Ninja, they never quit. And neither should you."

Mantis smiles. "Thanks."

Once they had loaded the material, Ray and Maya invited them inside for lunch and some tea before they went back to the still under construction monastery.
