(A/N: Anemia is a real blood condition. Some symptoms and effects may be different in this one-shot)

A couple of days had passed since the Oni were banished from Ninjago, and for some reason, Mantis had been a bit ill since yesterday as he was feeling dizzy and lightheaded before he went to lie down on his bed with a wet cloth over his forehead from having a headache. Zane had done a scan, and found out it might be common effects of anemia. And so, he took him to the hospital to see what caused it, and what should be done to make it go away.

Mantis sat on a hospital bed with an IV drip injected into his hand to pump some iron in while Zane was sitting on a nearby chair, reading a 'Time' magazine before Dr. Hall came in, and they turn to him. "Zane was right about your diagnosis." He said. "It was anemia

"What is anemia, doc?" Mantis asked, confused by the word.

"Just less blood produced. I believe it was because you were bleeding from all those cuts you suffered throughout your life. Normally, anemia would be serious, but, thanks to Zane, your case isn't severe. You just need to have food and drinks that contain iron, as well as a couple of blood transfusions."

"Transfusions?"

"Transfusion means you'll have something injected into your body." Zane said, standing up and putting the magazine aside. "Just like how the IV drip is injecting some iron into your body, but it won't be enough."

"Also, blood has 8 types." Dr. Hall said. "4 positive and 4 negative. We analysed the blood from your bandages from when you were first examined, and determined your blood type is B positive."

"Okay." Mantis replied.

"Which means you can get blood from someone also B positive, as well as B negative, O negative and O positive."

"It's a lucky thing that Blake is B positive as well." Zane said, patting his back. "He's due to donate blood, anyway."

"Would that mean I get his Wind Powers?" Mantis asked, half-sarcastic.

"No. Last time he donated blood, the recipient thought she did, until she realised after a couple of days."

"Then, may as well get started with this transfusion."

For the next couple of days, Mantis had been given Blake's blood as well as instructions on what food and drink that contained iron to consume, and a few more days later, he was examined again, and he had a clean bill of health.
