Chapter five-college choices

(Bobby has worked hard all throughout high school to get at least all A's and B's and he applied to a lot of colleges but the one he really wanted to get into is UCLA. He's always wanted to be a professional football player which he made it to UCLA on a football scholarship which he doesn't know yet but Mike and Carol want him to at least major in law for a back up plan. Greg comes through the front door back from getting the mail he calls Bobby Down first.)

Greg: Bobby! you got a letter from UCLA

(Bobby comes down the stairs quickly)

Bobby: Greg, I really hope this is it I've always wanted to go here and on a football scholarship let's hope this is it

(he takes the letter from Greg and opens it in one swipe with his finger he opens it and reads it aloud so Greg can hear)

Bobby:dear Robert Brady we are pleased to inform you that you are accepted to UCLA on a full football scholarship we look forward to seeing you August 21 1980... singed the dean of UCLA

Greg:Bobby, you made it! HEY EVERYBODY BOBBY GOT INTO UCLA ON A FULL FOOTBALL SCHOLARSHIP!

(Everyone comes running into the living room congratulating Bobby Cindy pulls him into a big hug and whispers in his ear to meet her later in the attic room but Jan has her own message for Bobby. She pulls Bobby outside onto the front steps.)

Jan: Okay, so I know Cindy probably wants to celebrate with you because you and her are practically the same age I know she said something to you but after you are done with her you come find me and we'll have a little private congratulatory party

Bobby: got it

(The Brady's decide to go out to dinner to celebrate bobby's acceptance letter, when they get back Cindy says)

Cindy: well all this excitement has tired me out, I'm gonna go to bed

(She sneaks a wink at bobby and rushes upstairs,Bobby shortly followed...he made it upstairs to the attic to find Cindy naked under his sheet)

Bobby:um...wow, when you told me to meet you up here I wasn't excepting this

(He motions to her lying in his bed)

Cindy:well,what are you gonna do about it?

(She gives Bobby the most sultry look)

Bobby:I don't know you tell me

Cindy: well come here

He stalls

Cindy: Bobby,will you come here?

Bobby: Cindy I can't do this you're my sister

Cindy: correction i'm Your step sister

Bobby: that doesn't make a difference to me

Cindy:you're hopeless

Cindy throws her hands up in defeat

Cindy:i'm going back to my own bed come find me when you come to your senses

She grabs the sheet with her as she gets up from the bed and runs to the bathroom to get fully clothed again meanwhile Bobby makes his way back down stairs he finds Jan in the service porch area

Bobby:Hey

He has a exasperated/nervous look on his face

Jan:what's up with you?

bobby: well you were right Cindy did want to celebrate with me but alone she was in my bed naked

jan:What? Is she crazy or something? Well I can't blame her I had the same idea for us

She bites her lip looking at Bobby

Bobby:with you I wouldn't mind but Cindy her and I just don't mix well

Jan:is she still up there?

Bobby:no,she went back to her own bed

Jan just nods

Bobby:So,i wanted to ask you something?

Jan:hmm?

Bobby:i know you were taking a year off to figure out what you wanted to do, have you decided?

Jan:Well about that... i have i want to be an architect like dad I sent in the application to UCLA I should be getting a letter back from them soon and hopefully if I get in we'll be seeing each other all the time. But if I do not however there's a really great architect program right down the street from the University

Bobby:Jan, that's great. Do mom and dad know?

Jan:mom was with me when I filled out the application I want it to be a surprise to dad but yes mom knows my whole plan dad does not so keep your mouth shut until you know from me that dad knows you're perfectly fine to talk to mom about it though

Bobby:got it...come closer to me for a minute

Jan steps closer to Bobby he pulls her in and starts kissing her she starts to return the kiss bobby picks Jan up and sits her on the dryer it's getting really hot and heavy the dryer starts to rock and FYI it's not on. they start to peel items of clothing off each other bobby starts to kiss/suck Jan's collarbone to her jawline she lets a small moan escape her lips

Bobby:Jan shh other people are in this house

Jan:oh sorry, why don't We take this upstairs?

Bobby:just what I was thinking

Bobby and Jan get dressed again and run up to the attic room but what they don't know is that Cindy is helping her mom out by putting some linens away and she can hear everything going on in the attic here's what she hears:

Jan:oh my god Bobby that feels so good

Bobby:shall i go faster?

Jan:mph...

All Cindy can hear now is the attic bed screeching back and forth she is furious. cindy has two choices she could go up there now and break it up or she could blackmail Bobby and Jan. she decides on blackmail. the next day peter brings the mail in just as he makes it back in the house Jan is making her way down the stairs.

Peter:oh Jan,you have a letter

Jan:oh thanks

She takes the letter from peter. it's from UCLA she opens it very closely it reads: dear Jan Brady,Thank you for your application we unfortunately have to put you on the wait list if there are any changes we will let you know

Jan:i've been rejected
