Agnes set her phone down and sighed. Kotetsu had made it into the city, two weeks before Christmas as planned. She smiled and spun once around in her chair. Everything was working according to her plan. She would have Tiger join the second league the last day before Christmas break, causing the audience to be drawn in for the next season, anticipating his return over the break. If she was lucky Barnaby would see it and want to join in after the break making a second announcement. It was ratings gold!
She pressed the intercom on her desk. "Is Barnaby downstairs with Saitou?" she asked, she wanted to call the smaller man but wasn't always sure when Barnaby was down there with him.
"No ma'am, he left a few hours ago," a tinny voice through the intercom replied.
Agnes picked up her phone and dialled down to Saitou.
"HELLO?" same the booming response.
"Saitou, are the suits ready?" she asked, the receiver in her handheld at arm's length as per usual.
"YES! I FINISHED TIGER'S SUIT WEEKS AGO, BARNABY'S NEEDED ALMOST NO UPGRADES, SO IT WAS EASILY COMPLETED AS WELL," his voice carried around the room, thankfully other than her secretary no one else worked nearby to overhear.
"Good, I'll have Tiger down to try out the new upgrades within the week," she said before hanging up.
Yes, everything was going perfectly. This next season would have amazing ratings that was for sure.
