It was morning time in the Warner Brothers Tower. All seemed quiet in the tower. Thomas had woken up early and was reflecting back on the few months he spent with the Warner's knowing their own zany actions was uncanny to not hear them going all zany especially how everything looks different from their old show. He thought that he would go mad like everyone else that would help them but when he looks himself in the mirror he would be looking like another Yakko Warner but with a green nose,
"Morning Thomas."
Yakko said wearing a robe and getting himself a coffee from the machine but Thomas stopped him quickly,
"Hey I want my cup of joe! It helps me wake up and have my yak charm working!"
He said to him before Thomas shook his head at the toon,
"I tasted that stuff and its just awful. Plus I wanna learn how to be a Warner!"
Thomas said excitedly about this opportunity to learn how to be zany and do what the Warner's do best? Yakko chuckled and rolled his eyes even though Thomas looked like him he wouldn't have his one stick his yaks. He noticed his sibling were up as well too sitting at the kitchen table. Dot wearing curlers as well a beauty mask,
"Good morning sister sibling and brother sibling."
Yakko said as they got ready to eat breakfast, Thomas ate some cereal since he didn't feel like making a breakfast like last time which Wakko was more excited about but was promised by Thomas to see his Don Knots museum (collection) but they needed to taught on how to be like them,
"Alright gang! Let's show Thomas the ropes of being one of us sibs! Let's get this ball rolling!"
Yakko said to his sibs who nodded in agreement at their older sibling as they got ready for the day ahead of them as they spun around in a tornado an come out with Dot having her hair done and the two of them having their normal attire on themselves as well Yakko in his slacks,
"First lesson of the day Thomas Warner!"
He said as he spun around an stopped to show he wasn't wearing his pajamas anymore an was now wearing his normal attire. Dot and Wakko did the same,
"Whoa."
Thomas said in amazement before Yakko wrapped his arm around him an gives him a spin. Thomas stopped himself but noticed all the Warner's snickering before bursting out laughing at him. He raised a brow before he looked down at himself noticing he was only in his underwear making him flush in embarrassment as he runs to their room and gets his clothing on before he heads back into the kitchen to eat his breakfast with the Warner's.
They head out for their adventures as the Warner's leapt off the railing of the water tower they noticed Thomas didn't joined them but was climbing down the tower instead of jumping off an landing on the studio lot floor on his feet. He catches up to them and smiled softly feeling a little exhausted as well nervous,
"Sorry about the wait guys."
"Eh? Speak up sonny I can't hear you."
Yakko said looking like an old person holding up a horn to his ear to hear what Thomas was saying,
"Eh? You say something about the weather being sunny?"
Dot said to her older brother being a old lady,
"I can't hear you! You wanted to eat oatmeal!"
Wakko said to his siblings.
Thomas was snickering at the little scene and clapped to them as the three ripped off their old self costumes out and bowed like they were on a stage,
"Next lesson is for you to do what we did! Make jokes an puns as well interesting sketches! You've done it before with Ralph! That cream pie gag was perfect! Now tell us a joke and will see how funny you are!"
Yakko said as his sibs nodded in agreement with him as they were now in a theater an Yakko, Wakko, and Dot sitting in seats. Eating some popcorn,
"G-Guys I don't know if I can make a good joke like you guys can. You've been saying them for year!"
Thomas admitted while they were reading a book about themselves an looked up to him grinning; Thomas was shaking in his feet. He opened his mouth before he started to run off the stage and out the theater not by toon speed just normal running as he headed to the security booth and shut the door and slide down under the table before a sleeping Ralph wakes up and starts to growl before grabbing him by the net Thomas waved his arms to stop him,
"I come in peace!"
He said to Ralph who scratched the side of his head in confusion,
"Dur Yakko why so you sounds different?"
Ralph said to Thomas who in response gave him an angry and annoyed glare,
"My name is Thomas, Ralph. It's always been that but please let me hide here for awhile I'm trying to avoid telling jokes cause I can't tell jokes myself."
"What!"
The Warner's exclaimed and poked out from behind Ralph before the four get chased by him. The three Warner's were able to escape but Thomas gets left behind by them and gets captured by him an brought to the Warner Bros CEO Nora Rita Norita,
"Dur I got one of em ma'am!"
He said and digs Thomas out of the net and holding him by the collar of his hoodie,
"You got me again Ralph. Guess I'm the one person you can't stop catching~"
Thomas teasingly joked before he leapt off and sits on the office chair in front of her desk. She stood up and was about to scream,
"Look at the very least on your cars worry at least the car wasn't damaged and under the ocean. Believe me if someone should be at the wheel of it then it's me. We're done here."
He said to her while he grabbed her coffee and drank it before he started to cough and gag,
"Ew! What type of coffee is this! Soulless dark coffee!"
Thomas said in disgust before he gives the ceo a salute and turned to leave before he was stopped by her when she presented a contract that had his name filled out,
"I had Ralph catch you so I could talk about the contract that you signed with the Warner's on the ride back from Russia. I wanna discuss what it is you've signed up on and how I find it terrible to have you in the Animaniacs Reboot!"
Three hours later of the explanation
"Now run along before I have Ralph escort you out of my office."
Nora said before she twitched when hearing the sound of snoring coming from the Warner who was asleep on the chair before she slams her fist on the desk waking him up,
"Huh!? What? Oh, sorry I just fell asleep from the charts. Ooo is that donuts!"
Thomas said biting into what was brought to her before spitting it out and gagging,
"What the heck type of donut is that!"
Nora started to laugh at him insane like making him scared before jabbing her finger into his chest,
"YOU WILL NEVER BE A WARNER! THAT CONTRACT IS VOIDED AND YOU WILL VACATE THE STUDIO!"
She exclaimed making Thomas stand there before slowly looking down at the floor; Nora laughed walking back to her desk till she hears crashing and banging before he grabs the Plotz painting and slams it down on top of her head,
"That painting resembles how much you act right now!"
He said then leaves the office and the building with his hood up to block his face from everyone so nobody would catch sight of his upset expression; he runs for the exit of the studio lot before he's stopped by the Warner's who were taking him back to the water tower,
"Nice to see ya again Thomas! Now stick with us and will be sure to make you into one of us!"
Yakko said proudly making Thomas's anger grow more from the thought of it as well,
"Will make you feel welcomed here and be as zany as ever!"
Wakko said to him too which Thomas was starting to shake a bit in anger,
"Yeah! Will even give you a change of outfit too! Something similar to Yakko but a little different because you know how copyright is with others stealing their work even Steven!"
Dot said before Thomas just pulled away from them. He looked to the floor before taking a deep breath before he lets out his air slow before opening his eyes and looked at the Warner's who were now wearing yoga attire which made him snicker softly,
"Namastay."
The three said bowing to Thomas,
"Guys I just need a moment for awhile. It's nothing to be bothered by but I just need a break from here? Where's the park you guys usually go to when you are mad?"
Thomas asked,
"Well uhhhhhhhhhhhh we usually go to the park downtown! If you want we could come with! If you can handle us stars!"
Yakko said as him and his sibs wore sunglasses while getting paparazzi taking pictures of them. Thomas rolled his eyes and shook his head,
"No just need to have some time to myself. I did make some progress on being a toon like you guys but my jokes are not good. Keep dinner for me when I get back to the tower."
He said while heading out of the gate,
"AN DON'T MAKE WAKKO EAT THE ENTIRE LEFTOVERS JUST LIKE THE ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET!"
He yelled while walking away as Yakko and Dot waved goodbye to him while Wakko huffed and pouted.
The Park
Thomas was humming happily with the theme song of the Animaniacs theme song. He walked through the park entrance seeing many people were on their phones even joggers which made him shrug his shoulder and got onto his phone too and was surprised to find it had a internet connection,
"What a way to go outside to get some fresh air."
Thomas said to himself before he gets into the online community before he sits down on the park bench before he sighed softly and looked to the ground. Out of all the outcomes of becoming a Warner to be yanked away by Nora was the only time he just felt utter sadness and anger. He really didn't like her anyways because of how much she just thought of herself and making money instead of others including the Warner's. He looked up to the hill before noticing two mice at the hillside looking at the people on their phones. He silently sneaked past their line of sight to sneak up on them.
"The internet is the most powerful information tool in the entire world that is ever devised. An do you know what they use it for pinky?"
The mouse with the odd shaped head mouse with pink eyes as the other mouse gives a grin and looked,
"I doooo. But I don't think I can say it Brain."
Brain grabs pinky's lips and pulled him close before he lets go of him.
Thomas was hearing this from behind a tree snickering softly before bursting into laughter hearing himself snort before he closed his mouth and stayed quiet before he figured his hiding place is comprised he gets stopped by a mouse clearing his throat,
"Why does it surprise me that out of all the Warner's you would interrupt us trying to take over the world."
Brain said to Thomas with Pinky beside him looking at him closely before his expression changed to shock,
"ZORT! Brain look at this Warner he's-
"Quiet Pinky I am interrogating this Warner after he interrupted our conversation on taking over the world!"
Brain said to him annoyed,
"NARF! But Brain look at him! He's different from the Warner's! Just look at hi-"
Pinky shut up when Brain hits him,
"I said quiet! I am trying to talk with Yakko Warner!"
There it is. Thomas cleared his throat before he grabs Pinky an set him up on his feet,
"I'm surprised a Brain like yours is big but can't figure out that I am no Yakko not even a Yak. The names Thomas Barker. I know who the both of you are Pinky and the Brain."
Pinky gives a big grin before he shakes Thomas hand and Brain just stares at him in shock before he grabs pinky as well a strand of Thomas fur,
"Quick pinky! We must head to the lab for further research on this new Warner!"
Brain said as the two left him alone at the tree which made him shrug his shoulders and lay down against the tree watching the sun set as it was a beautiful event to watch over the end of a eventful day unbeknownst to him a dark figure was watching him. He was getting up and heading back to the studio to gather his things until he gets a cloth covering his mouth an nose that made him start to go limp and pass out in the figures arms. The figure drags him away to the darkness of the night never to be seen again.
