Chapter 6: First day of school

"Izuku, do you have a tissue?" The excited mother asked her son. "Yeah."

"And your handkerchief? What about your handkerchief? Your hanky?" She continued to ask. "Don't worry, I made sure he has his hanky." Shimura said, as if she could hear her.

'Please don't get as worried as her.' Izuku thought. "I have it! I'm going to be late!" Izuku said as he tried to leave in a hurry. "I have to hurry."

"Izuku!" Inko said, right before Izuku left. "What is it!?"

"Don't yell at your mother!" Shimura yelled in Izuku's head. 'Sorry.'

Before saying anything, Inko looked down with a really proud smile. "You're really cool." Izuku stood there for a moment before smiling at her. "Thanks mom. I'll see after school." He left home to go to the school of his dreams.

"Are you sure you got your hanky?" Shimura asked as she floated around Izuku. Fortunately no one was around so he could answer her. "Yes, yes, I have everything."

Once they got to the train, Shimura sat across from Izuku. 'Can't she just float around?' However, it didn't take 5 minutes for someone to sit on the seat that she was on. Before he sat down, she floated out of the and went inside Izuku's mind. "Rude, I was sitting there."

'Well, isn't floating around better than just sitting down?' Izuku asked. "So, are you excited about your day of school?"

'Honestly, I am nervous but I also can't wait to get started. I've been waiting for this day all my life.' Izuku thought. 'I just hope that I can control my quirk better than I do now.'

"Yeah, it'll definitely be hard to control One for All, but I know you can do it with a little hard work." Izuku tensed up a little as she brought up One for all. 'Oh crap, I forgot she knows about One for All now.'

"You do realize I can hear you in here, right?" He once again tensed up and was a little embarrassed that he forgot that she was in his head. "Haha i'm sure you'll get used to it."

'Still, I'm glad that you're willing to keep this a secret too.' She giggled after he declared his appreciation. "Even if I didn't want to, I don't exactly know how I could tell anyone."

It didn't take too long until the train reached their stop, Izuku could easily see UA from where he was sitting. His nerves started to act up again as he felt a little intimidated from the large building. 'Oh no, I need to hurry before I'm late!' Izuku thought as he checked the time on his phone. He quickly ran out of the train station to find his class.

As soon as he entered the school, he started to aimlessly run around in an attempt to find class 1-A. "Slow down, try going this way." Shimura said as she pointed towards his left. "Well it's worth a shot." Izuku said before following her directions. "How do you know where to go?" He asked.

She nearly got nervous when she realized what she did, but she calmed down as soon as she came up with an excuse. "Oh well, this part of the school looks like it's for first years and the hero department is most likely further ahead, since you just passed class 1-H."

"Oh yeah, you're right. Sorry, I guess I'm more nervous than I thought." He said. "It's fine, I know you'll make it through the day just fine. Just try not to freak out." With his nerves being more calm, he was in less of a hurry and just walked to his class. "Class 1-A, class 1-A, oh there it is." Izuku said as he finally spotted his class.

"Woah, that door is huge!" Shimura said with amazement. "I know, I wonder if they are for accessibility." Izuku said, looking just as amazed. Before he could reach for the door, Shimura promptly went inside his mind, in order to give him some encouragement when he needed it.

'I hope I didn't get the same class as the scary people.' Izuku thought as both of them popped in his mind. "Who are you referring to?" Shimura asked. "Oh well, it's a little hard to explain but-"

"Get your feet off the table! You're disrespecting school property with such actions!" Unfortunately, Izuku got his answer as soon as he opened the door. "Huh!? Did you always have that stick up your ass or were you born with it?"

"So, he's in your class too." Shimura said in a displeased tone. 'Yeah, it looks like it.'

Truthfully, Nana was never a fan of Bakugo's attitude, but after realizing that he was one of Midoriya's main tormentors, she quickly grew to feel more negatively towards the boy. Then again, that's how she felt against basically everyone in Midoriya's old school. She didn't know a lot of details about their past but she does know that he was one of the worst when it came to bullying. "...before he even moved, he just let out a small laugh and smiled."

Nana shook her head, trying to not think about that moment. "Midoriya, it'll be fine, I'll be here for you." Nana said in a comforting tone. Izuku nearly reacted towards her words but luckily kept a straight face. It was still a very new experience having people say something comforting to him.

Izuku was then pulled back into reality when he heard the blue haired boy address him and had the whole class look at him. "Oh, umm…"

"Good morning!" Shimura's and Izuku's attention were caught as the same boy tried to greet him. "This kid seems pretty disciplined, might need to loosen up a bit." Shimura said.

"My name is Tenya Iida!" hearing that surprised Nana. "I won't regret my decision, as long as Toshinori, Ochako and Tenya are okay."

'He's one of the two.'

"My name is Izuku Midoriya. it's nice to meet you, Iida!" Izuku said in an attempt to seem as professional as he can so he didn't get on his bad side like in the entrance exams. "You realized the true purpose of the practical exam, didn't you? I had no idea, I misjudged you and for that, I apologize. I hate to admit it but you're clearly the superior student."

"Hey look at you, already proving yourself to your classmates before class even-"

'I honestly didn't realize anything.' Izuku sweat dropped. "Huh?"

"Oh, that curly hair! You're the plain-looking one!" A female voice was heard from behind Izuku. 'It's the nice person!'

"plain-looking?!"

Unfortunately for Izuku, he was too distracted by the nice girl's presence that said something he didn't mean to say. 'She looks good in a uniform.' hearing that caused Shimura's annoyance to go away quickly. She then got a devilish glint in her eye, with an equally devilish smile. "Oh, so you think she looks cute in that school uniform?"

Izuku immediately regretted what he thought and turned completely red. "W-wait! No, I-I didn't mean to say that!" Izuku said as he looked away from the girl and covered his face. "Huh?" The girl looked confused, not sure what he was talking about.

"Go somewhere else if you want to play at being friends." The three (really four) heard behind them. They all then noticed a homeless looking man drinking a juice pouch inside a sleeping bag.

'What is that!?' they all thought. "Okay, it took you eight seconds before you were quiet. Time is limited. You kids are not rational enough."

"Hey Midoriya, don't judge him by his appearance, just yet. He seems to be your teacher, which means he's also a pro hero." Nana told Izuku. He immediately took her advice to heart but there was something he couldn't quite pinpoint. The tired man then gave an introduction to the class. 'I can't figure out who he is and I haven't seen a hero as worn out as him.'

"He could be an underground hero. Not as well known and usually work undercover jobs." Izuku thought about it a little bit until his teacher brought him out of his thoughts. "All of you, change into these uniforms and meet me on the P.E. grounds." He said after handing out the uniforms and left.

"Come fellow students! We must follow instructions as quickly as possible!" Iida said.

'Hold on, I wonder if he's…'

"Quirk assessment test!?" most of the students explained in shock. "But what about orientation?" one of the students asked.

"They're a waste of time, U.A. is unrestricted by pointless traditions. As a teacher, I can run my class how I see fit. Bakugo, you finished on top of the practical exams, right?" He then threw a baseball at Bakugo. "All of you have taken a fitness test before, right? This time, I want you all to use your quirks."

As Bakugo walked into the white circle, he got a sinister smile as he readied himself. "DIE!"

Boom!

'Die?' some of the students thought after their brief amazement of his display of power. "Hey I wanna try! This is gonna be fun!"

"Oh no." Shimura said as soon as she heard that. 'What is it?' Izuku asked. "You'll see. Just try to keep calm."

"Fun? Hero work isn't fun and games. If you're not going to take this seriously, then the person who places last will be expelled." Aizawa said, surpassing the whole class. "Knew it."

"Expelled! But it's the first day! That's completely unfair!" A brown haired girl said. "Unfair? So are robberies, natural disasters and villain attacks. The hero world is filled with so many things that are 'unfair'. So from this point on, go beyond. Plus ultra."

Most of the students were filled with the motivation to not get last place, while a few remained calm, knowing they have the strength capable of staying on top.

'Oh no, this is bad...eight tests? I can't even control One for All well enough.' Before Izuku's nerves could consume him, he felt a familiar hand on his shoulder. "Just stay calm. You've already made a huge improvement on your quirk. Just don't let his intimidation get to you." It may have been short but that was just the motivation he needed to at least give it his all. He slapped the sided face to prepare himself for what's to come. 'Right!'

Nana smiled as she looked at how determined Midoriya looked. She then briefly chuckled as she thought about Aizawa's threat. 'Should I tell him?' She asked herself. But after looking at all the others, they were equally as determined as Midoriya. 'Hmm nah. It's probably better if they don't know.'

Izuku prepared himself for the first test, the 50 meter dash. 'Why did I have to be up against Kacchan?' Izuku asked himself. "I won't try to help you cheat but just remember what you've learned before going into U.A.." She's right. He remembered the time at the beach that he cleaned.

Flashback:

Izuku was in his room, trying to do some last minute studying before U.A. officially began. Shimura on the other hand, was looking around at all the All Might merch in his room. 'Man this feels so weird. I'm happy that he achieved his dream but...this just feels like going overboard.'

Both of their attention were caught when Izuku got a phone call. "I am here! I am here!" Izuku scrambled as he tried to answer his phone. "Umm...hello. Uh, oh really...okay, I'll be there soon!"

"Who was that? A girlfriend?" Shimura asked, which immediately made Izuku blush. "N-no, I-I just need to go meet my mentor." Izuku said as he got ready to leave.

"Oh sweet, let go then. Maybe we can find out some new insight about your quirk." Shimura said excitedly. Izuku immediately halted as he realized that Shimura was coming too. 'Oh no, she's going to learn about One for All!'

"Hey, you alright?" Izuku quickly turned as he looked nervous. "Y-yeah, but I think it's better if I go by myself. I just don't want to waste your time by talking about my quirk!" Izuku said as rubbed the back of his head.

Shimura simply laughed it off as she tried to reassure him. "Nonsense, this is what I'm best at!" Izuku was still nervous as she seemed so set on joining him. 'What do I do!? I never thought that this would happen! Should I tell her about One for all?'

She got closer to him as she noticed how anxious he seemed. Before she could say anything, he suddenly spoke. "Sh-shimura! There's something important that I need to tell you!"

"Uh...okay, but why do you seem so stressed out?" Seeing how he had no way he could avoid the truth, he took the risk of telling her the thing he swore his idol to never reveal. Not just about One for All but also how his mentor being All might and his weakened form.

"So that's basically how I got my quirk." Izuku finished his explanation. He tried covering his face with arms as he felt a large amount of anxiety at that moment. He waited for Shimura to say something but her silence felt like an eternity. 'Please say something!'

"Wow, I was actually right then." Nana said, finally breaking the silence. Izuku looked at her with a surprised look. "What do you mean by 'I was actually right'? Isn't something like this supposed to be unheard of?" Izuku asked. When he looked at her, only to see her holding her chin as she looked like she was thinking. "I've actually had a theory that a quirk may exist, that allows you to pass down other quirks. I was never taken seriously and even I had to admit, it was a little hard to believe, but it was still a definite possibility. Although, I definitely didn't expect the whole 'legendary quirk passed down for generation, to protect the whole world' thing but anything is possible."

Now this was something that he didn't expect, the first time he found out, he couldn't believe what he heard. Here he was, telling her a major secret and she was taking it so well. It was like she knew about this already. "Well she said that had a theory about, so i guess it's not too far fetched that someone would expect something like this to already exist. For all I know, there could be far more out there that I don't know. There could also be someone who thinks they're quirkless but just don't know what their quirk is mutter mutter mutter."

"You realize that you're speaking out loud, right?" Izuku immediately snapped out of his mutter session to refocus on Shimura. "Oh right, sorry. Anyway, this is a big secret that no one can know, please don't tell anyone." Izuku begged. Shimura chuckled as she reassured him that his secret was safe. "Don't worry, I can see that this secret is really important to you. I swear that I won't tell anyone, but we should get going to meet with your master. All Might, right?"

"That's right, I can't keep him waiting!" Izuku said as tried to leave quickly. "Hey, wait for me!"

Later:

"Is this the place?" Shimura asked, as she floated next to Izuku. "Yup, this is it. We just need to look for All Might."

"Well you said he looks different from your posters, so I don't really know what-OH MY GOD!" Shimura exclaimed in shock.

"Hey, All Might!" Izuku yelled as noticed his master. 'IS THAT REALLY TOSHINORI!? HOW IS HE ALIVE!?'

"Wait, not so loud!"

"Huh? All Might, where?" A couple asked, not too far from where All Might was standing. "Tell them you were kidding!" All Might whispered. Realizing what he did, Izuku tried to quickly correct his mistake. "Oh wait, never mind! It was just my Imagination!"

"Thank you, Young Midoriya. Anyway, congratulations on getting into, U.A. and don't worry, I had nothing to do with the judging. So you made it in, completely on your own." All Might said proudly. But his smile quickly vanished. "But I also noticed how you used One for All. The thing is, your body can barely contain One for all as it is. Tell me, how did it feel when you first used it?"

"Oh well...it felt like a bzzt or maybe woosh...oh, it felt like an egg in a microwave!"

"Hahaha what?/wow that's really lame!" The two adults exclaimed. "*Cough cough* sorry, I didn't mean to yell. But if that's the best you can come up with, then sure. Then try to lower the wattage, or shorten the cook time. It won't happen overnight, so keep that image in your head."

"The image…" Izuku repeated. "Yup, and remember to continue training your body."

"That can't be it." Izuku said. All Might was confused by his statement. Izuku briefly turned away from All Might to explain what he meant. "Oh well, I can't just control it based on feeling alone. I only felt 100%, so how could I properly use it if I don't even know how it feels at a much lower level? Seems like a bad idea to simply say 'just feel it' if all I felt was a lot of pain the first time." Seeing his point, All Might felt a little embarrassed to miss such an obvious detail. "Oh, I guess you have a point."

"Side note, if you knew the whole time I was gonna break my bones, why didn't you tell me that'll happen so I could have not almost died in the exams?" Izuku asked in a harsh tone.

"Because even though you didn't know how to use it, you still went in and used it, in spite of the risk. That's the true mark of a hero." All Might said, trying to justify himself.

"Maybe, but what would you have done if I actually died from either the fall, punch or even the shock from pain?" 'oh crap he's right.'

Izuku then went up to All Might and pointed his finger to him. "You need to work better at being a teacher if this is the best you can do." All Might was so ashamed of this moment that he didn't notice the chance in his eyes from earlier. "H-hold on, there's still 3 weeks before school starts. We can work on controlling it better than before!" He said while apologetically bowing to Izuku. "That's right, we still have time so let's get to work!" Izuku enthusiastically. "Y-yes, let's get to work!"

'What are you doing!?' Izuku asked. "*sigh* Just trying to help you out, kid." Shimura said as she sounded disappointed. 'Are you okay?' Izuku asked, worriedly. "I'm fine, just got headache"

'Okay, not the best start but I'm sure Toshinori will get better, right?'

Flashback end

"On your marks." As Izuku remembered his previous training, he took a deep breath. His body began to be covered by red marks and began to ache. 'Tch remember the egg in the microwave.' seeing the display right next to him, Bakugo was in pure shock. 'What the hell?'

"Get set…" Izuku then transferred a small amount of power into his leg. "Go!" with one kick, Izuku propelled himself forward. "What the hell!?" This sudden display of power surprised Bakugo so much that he was left stunned while Izuku flew past him.

'It worked! I just need to-' Izuku tried to land but since he was still not used to using One for All, he lost his footing and his face planted on the ground. "Ow, that hurt." Izuku said as got up. "RAAHH DAMN IT!" Bakugo Yelled as he finally blew himself forward.

Boom!

'Oh crap!' Izuku thought as he quickly got up and started to run as fast as he could.

"5.9 seconds! 5.12 seconds!" the robot said, as both Bakugo and Izuku crossed the finish line.

'Well, I made it not too far behind.' Izuku thought as he tried to catch his breath.

"DEKU!" Izuku flinched as he heard a voice that he was way too familiar with. "HOW THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT, YOU DAMN NERD?!" Izuku fell backwards, seeing Bakugo charge at him. Luckily, before he got too close, Bakugo was held back. "What the hell is this?!"

"Hey, quit making me use my quirk, it gives me a dry eye." Aizawa said.

Izuku immediately noticed something about his teacher when wrappings around him exposed something. "Hold on, I know you. You're the underground hero, Eraserhead."

"If you don't stop, then I'll just expel you now." he threatened, making Bakugo calm down a bit. "Tch whatever." He said right before he glared hatefully at Izuku. Izuku tried to avoid eye contact but he couldn't help but feel queasy at his glare.

"We'll go ahead and continue. I expect all of you not to act up or you'll be expelled." Aizawa said to the whole class. They all got the message and tried to get ready for the next test.

"Hey, are you okay?" Izuku heard three voices ask him. He already knew who the first one was but was admittedly surprised when he saw Iida a Uraraka approach him. "Is your face alright?" Uraraka asked, seeing his face was slightly bruised from the earlier fall.

"Oh yea, I'm fine. I just need to work on how I use my quirk a little more." Izuku said sheepishly.

"Well we should hurry, we don't want to fall behind our classmates." Iida said while he was intensely chopping the air. "O-oh right."

Throughout the rest of the test, Izuku tried his best to use One for all with his limited understanding. But they usually ended with him messing up in some way or even getting hurt.

Much like the second test where everyone tested their grip strength. He noticed how incredible everyone was and became intimidated by how amazing they were. "Come on, don't let them intimidate you. You can keep up with them if you just focus."

'Right!' He tried to focus just enough power into his whole arm and lightly clenched his fist.

Crack!

He promptly opened his eyes when he heard a loud noise. His classmates stared at him, seeing how he destroyed his grip strength tester. "Wow! I didn't think it was possible to crush that thing!" Izuku was immediately embarrassed and tried to hide himself in his arms.

"Hey, Midoriya, don't feel bad. If anything, you showed how much power had." it didn't completely make his embarrassment go away but her words did help.

The long jump, surprisingly did go well when he used the same tactic and used a powerful kick to launch him forward. Unfortunately, it ended the same way with Izuku landing on his face. 'Again?!'

"Infinity?!" he and the rest of his class yelled in astonishment. "Midoriya, you're up." Aizawa said.

'There's still a few more tests after this and so far, I've only used One for All effectively for one test.' Izuku thought nervously. He noticed Shimura appear next to, probably gonna give him some more words of encouragement. He had to admit, it was weird getting so much positive reinforcement like this but it still felt nice. 'Maybe...I can do better here.'

"It's just a few more, Midoriya. I know you can-" he was surprised when she disappeared so suddenly. 'Shimura?'

He then noticed something at the corner of his eye, turning to see his teacher glaring at him with his quirk activated. "Not gonna try to throw it, huh? You're observant, I'll give you that." Aizawa said, slightly impressed that he noticed him using his quirk.

He then used his scarf to pull Izuku towards him. "They weren't rational enough during the entrance exams. Your power, you're so inefficient that you either become useless after one decent use or you're so pathetic that you put yourself at risk." Aizawa said coldly. "Tell me, do you really think someone will be there to pull you away from danger or save your useless body in any given situation?"

Izuku really felt his stomach drop from his glare alone, but that question made feel like he was about to throw up. "N-no I…"

"Whatever your intentions were, someone like you shouldn't have been accepted into this school." Aizawa briefly recalled his conversation with Nezu, not too long ago. "Someone like you can't be a hero if you can't even control your quirk at a basic level."

Each word hit Izuku like a dagger, all he could do was stare at his so-called teacher. "I've returned your quirk. Get your last throw over with." Aizawa then released him and walked away.

Unknown to him, Izuku's master watched with a worried look on his face. He wanted to step in but he didn't feel it'd be right to do so. 'Y-young Midoriya.'

'No matter what he choses, he has no potential. He might as well save himself the trip to Recovery Girl and settle for last place.'

"Midoriya! I'm sorry I disappeared like that! I saw him stare at you...and I got scared…" Shimura said, in an attempt to explain herself, while inside his head. But her explanation fell on deaf ears, as he thought deeply about Aizawa's words.

Truth be told, he was right. He was so much farther behind everyone else. Maybe he didn't belong here.

"No matter what, I think you're really cool."

He didn't understand but those words suddenly appeared in his head. 'No matter what, it's always the same. Even with a quirk, I still can't do anything.'

"Midoriya…"

Izuku couldn't help but think about his other teachers who thought the same about him. Images that Shimura saw pop in his head. But he also thought about Shimura and his mom, they both seemed to be the only ones who believed in him. Heck, one of them, he met recently but has grown fond of in such a short time.

"you're so inefficient that you either become useless after one decent use or you're so pathetic that you put yourself at risk."

Hunter x Hunter- Run

Izuku then got a fierce look in his eyes. 'I know that already. I know how far ahead everyone is and how much I need to work, just to be able to keep up!' Izuku got ready to throw the ball and put as much power as he could into his arm. 'At this rate, I'll never be a hero! I'll do whatever it takes to be a hero, even if it means working harder than anyone else!'

Then transferred all the power he had in his arm, into one finger. The power of his throw was not only fueled with the determination to prove himself, but also to show everyone that doubted him that he can make it as a hero. "SMASH!"

Swoosh!

"Sensei." Aizawa's attention was shifted from the impressive score of 789.7, to his student who stared at him very confidently with a mixture of pain. "I can still move!"

"This kid…"

"I see what you did, you used your limited understanding to effectively transfer all that power into a better part of your body." Shimura said. 'Y-yeah, it hurts but not as much as before.'

Both Nana and All Might couldn't help but think the exact same thing. "What the heck, Midoriya?! When did you become so cool?!"

All of his classmates started in absolute amazement from not only the power they witnessed but also him getting the second highest score.

"Woah, did you see that?! I nearly got knocked over!"

"Yes but his finger looks broken."

As all his classmates commented at his impressive feat, Bakugo stared at him, very shocked and royally pissed off. He wanted nothing more than to demand answers but knew if he did, he'd have to deal with the Eraser guy's shit.

He believed his expulsion was nothing more than an empty threat but still knew that he couldn't do anything when he was wrapped in that damn cloth. Started at Deku, watching him flustered with some idiot, treating what just happened as nothing but an ordinary thing. 'You bastard!'

The rest of the test went on as normal, only this time, Izuku had to fight through the pain. He was also thrown off a bit with Shimura and Uraraka constantly asking if was alright. Soon came the end of the quirk assessment test. "I'll show you the results of the tests. The total is marked by what you got on each test."

As soon as the results were shown, nearly everyone nervously searched for their names.

"16 Izuku Midoriya"

"17 Denki Kaminari"

"18 Kyoka Jiro"

"19 Minoru Mineta"

"20 Toru Hagakure"

Izuku started at the board with a mixture of absolute relief and slight pride.. 'I-I made it!'

"Haha see? I told you, you'd be fine." Shimura said very happily and gave him a pat on the back. 'Yeah but…' Izuku then immediately felt bad for whoever the person in last place was.

"Oh, I lied about the expulsion thing."

"..."

"WHAT?!" Most of the class yelled. "It was a rational deception to make sure you all try your best." Aizawa said with a weird half smile.

"Of course it was a lie. It should have been obvious if you thought it through." A girl with a ponytail said. 'I didn't notice.'

"I actually knew too. Sorry, I didn't want you to go easy just because you felt there weren't any stakes involved. That wouldn't be fair to you or your classmates." Shimura told Izuku.

She watched as everyone finally calmed down and sighs in relief. 'Actually, he was more than prepared to expel all of you, if he wanted.' he then turned to Midoriya who was talking with two other students. 'But all of you definitely proved yourselves. Right, Toshinori?' Nana then looked at the corner where her former student was 'hiding'.

After school:

"Are you sure you're gonna be alright? You look exhausted." Shimura said, slightly concerned. '*yawn* yeah, I'll be okay. I can rest easier once I get home.'

Izuku then remembered what recovery girl warned him before he left. 'I can't just keep getting help from others. I need to hurry up and learn to control my power soon.' Izuku thought as starred as his finger. "I'll try to help you as much as I can too. Oh hey, someone's approaching you."

Izuku turned to see Iida greeting him. "Hello, Midoriya, has your finger healed?"

"Yeah, thanks to Recovery Girl."

"It's a relief to see that you're alright. You know, I was really taken in by Aizawa-sensei." They both started to walk to the train station as Iida shared his thoughts about their teacher's methods.

"Hey, you two. Are you going to the train station? Wait for me!" They turned to see a brown haired girl running towards them. "You're the infinity girl."

"I'm Ochako Uraraka! Your name is Tenya Iida and your name is Deku Midoriya, right?"

"Deku?!" Izuku asked, very surprised (and Nana a little upset). "Didn't that Bakugo guy call you that? He said 'Deku you bastard' right?"

"Oh, actually my name is Izuku, but Deku is what Kacchan calls me to make fun of me." Izuku explained frantically. "An insult?" Iida asked.

"Oh, is that right? Sorry! But "Deku" sounds like "you can do it!" so I kinda like it!"

"I'm Deku!"

"Midoriya?! Aren't you accepting this a little too early?! You said it was an insult!" both Shimura and Iida said. Izuku could only look away while blushing. "It's like a Copernican Revolution!"

"Co-pe?/Huh?!" They all started to walk to the station as they talked.

"I still think you're accepting it a little early, but it's better than it being used as an insult." Shimura said. 'Yeah but…'

"What is it?" Shimura asked. 'I know I have a lot of hard work ahead of me, but I can at least be happy right now, that I made some friends.'

Shimura bushed as hearing that made her heart skip a beat. Luckily she was inside his head so he couldn't see. "Y-yeah, so far it's turning out to be a good day."

'Damn it, why is this kid so adorable?'

All of them finally reached the station where they waited for their individual trains. Although, they weren't the only ones of their classmates who were waiting for the same train.

"Unfortunately, this is where we part ways. My train home has arrived. I'll see the two of you tomorrow." Iida said before leaving. "Bye, Iida." They both said while waving goodbye.

"Hey, will you look at that, you're all alone with a cute girl." Shimura said, teasing Izuku. Izuku, of course, blushed and his heart was beating a mile a minute. 'D-d-don't say stuff like that!'

Of course, Uraraka was confused on why he was red and mumbling about things she didn't understand.

Their train arrived quickly and the train ride was short...well, normally it would be but Shimura teased Izuku at every other chance she got. 'This is the longest and worst train ride of my life.'

"It'll get worse if you don't get up." Izuku then noticed that his stop was close. "Oh, Uraraka, sorry I gotta go now. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay! Goodbye, Deku!"

Both Izuku and one of his other classmates got off the train. "Man it's over already? I was having fun." Shimura said as she was laughing. "I'm so glad that's over. That was probably the longest train ride in my life."

"Aw come on, it wasn't that bad. Let's get home now, I'm sure your mom will be excited to hear about your day."

As they started walking back home, they were too distracted to realize that they were unintentionally following someone. The person in question constantly looked back to see Midoriya following him. It didn't help that when he looked back, Midoirya was looking somewhere else and was also quietly mumbling to himself. It made him look like he was trying not to look suspicious by looking at random places. "Hmm."

He took the only course of action he could take and made left, into an alleyway.

"So is it fine I watch the rest of that American cartoon we were watching? I can't wait for them to reach the North Pole." Shimura said. They were so caught in their conversation that they didn't notice the boy tried to avoid him, and walked out of an alleyway.

He stiffened as he saw Midoriya again. 'I thought I lost this guy.' He then crossed the street and risked taking a longer path to try to lose Midoriya.

"But can you levitate objects towards you?" Izuku asked while writing in his notebook. Once again, they didn't notice the same boy walking from the corner. 'Seriously?!'

He took drastic measures and climbed over a wall to hopefully lose him.

"Okay but if someone with a mind reading quirk reads your mind, would they hear me too or just me?" For the third time, Izuku and Shimura didn't notice when the same boy stumbled out of the bushes.

Luckily, he saw his destination right across the street. He promptly crossed, however…

"Oh remember they're doing some construction a little bit ahead. You might as well cross the street here." Shimura said. Izuku did what she said and crossed the street.

"Alright, You and me! Behind that alleyway! Let's go!" The boy said, confusing Izuku and Shimura.

"Uhh, isn't that one of your classmates?" Shimura asked. 'Yeah, it is. I think his name was Dotsu Saisei.'

He didn't stand out too much since it was only the first day and his only notable feature being his feminine looking face and long, unruly and uneven hair. It reached just above his shoulders and there was a puffing and curved, thinning towards his forehead. "You've been following me this whole time! If you want to fight, then let's fight!" He said as he put his fist up.

"Oh no, I'm sorry! We just so happen to be going in the same direction!" Izuku said as he put his hand up defensively. "Huh?"

"It's fine, my house is not that far...I'll just go ahead and leave now." Izuku said as he awkwardly sidestepped away from his classmate.

Saisei stared at him, as Midoriya tried to walk away. "Tch what a weirdo."

Petit Hero: Locker room difference

After getting their instructions, all the students went into their respective locker room. Except for one short kid who tried to walk in the female locker room but luckily grabbed Iida.

"Don't worry, I understand your confusion since it's the first day! But the males locker room is this way." Iida said as chopped the air. 'Noooo!'

"Woah, has anyone else noticed that we got so small and adorable?" Saisei pointed out.

No one else acknowledged what he said after a black haired boy with large elbows realized something. "Oh hey, you really are a boy."

"You just noticed! What did you think when I came in here?!" Saisei yelled.

"Noooo! I thought he was a girl that sneaked in here! Why are you a boy?!" some purple kid thought.

"All of you, shut up! You're all so damn annoying!"

"O-oh, Shimura, can you wait outside? I think It's better you just wait somewhere else." Izuku whispered awkwardly. Shimura simply laughed it off and reassured him that he doesn't have to worry.

"Don't worry, I won't see anything in here. But he's right, for some reason we keep getting smaller and more adorable. Especially you." But Izuku didn't acknowledge the last part of what she said as he proceeded to change into his other uniform.

"But you know, I don't get what tosh- uhh I mean, what people keep talking about. This place looks really similar to the girls locker room." Shimura said.

Everyone's attention was caught when they heard the sound of duct tape and someone yelling in pain. Then a blond haired boy limped to where everyone else was, while holding duct tape. "Uhh are you okay, bro?" a red haired boy asked.

"Yeah, I was using one of the stalls and there was a drawing of some puppet thing that said "Let's play a game." so I said, "challenge accepted.""

"I changed my mind, this place is disgusting." Shimura said as she stared at the blond kid. "I'll go wait outside."

Meanwhile:

"Hey, do any of you girls have a marker?" an invisible girl asked.

A girl with a ponytail used her quirk to create a marker and gave it to the invisible girl. "Here you go. Why do you need a marker?"

"I was in one of the stalls and there was writing that said, "you are beautiful!" and under that said, "no, you!""

The girl with a ponytail gasped as she assumed her intentions. "You're not going to deface school property, are you?"

"Oh, you should totally write, "What if (bear with me) you are both beautiful?"" A pink-skinned girl said. "Yes! That's exactly what I was gonna write!" The invisible girl said excitedly.

A girl with purple hair deadpanned as she saw the two girls jump happily for thinking the same thing. 'It hasn't been an hour, but these two are already BFF's.'

"Hey, isn't there a girl that's missing?" Uraraka asked.

"She was a girl? But wasn't she wearing the male uniform?" A frog girl pointed out.

Thank you so much for reading, I'm so grateful to you guys, spending your time reading whatever this is. Also, it might take me a little longer than usual to realise a chapter for my stories because it's close to November. I'm gonna get started on a one-shot that will release around early next year. There also might be some other stuff for me to work on so once again, thank you for your patience.

Edit: I am so sorry, I didn't realize until this was posted that I completely forgot to press save when I was doing some last minute editing.
