The 9th prince of Gehenna – Chapter 6
Everyone headed into class after Reiji greeted everyone with Rin and the Coal Tar running in first. The classroom had long tables that could fit up to three people in three rows of five. That was different from the other half of the school that had desk that fit only one. Bon and his friends took their spots in the third row, taking the third desk (Shima and Himself) and the Forth desk (Konekomaru). The weird puppet kid, Nemu Takare if Bon recalled, took the first desk in the third row. Izumo and Paku took the second desk in the first row with Shiemi sitting next to them in the first desk of the second row. The other weird kid in their class who wears a hoodie that they always keep up to hide their face sat in the last desk in the second row. They were always so damn quite that Bon for got about them sometimes until he heard the pop from the gum they always had. Bon didn't even know that they joined them in the dorm until he ran into them on his way to the kitchen for dinner. After Bon took his seat he looked over to see Reiji took a seat in the second row right behind Shiemi. The silver haired boy let out a yawn laid down on his bench seat folding his hands behind his head.
'So he a lazy punk kid,' Bon thought to himself as he rolled his eyes.
On Reiji's desk Rin and the Coal Tar were playing with Shiemi's Baby Greenman who joined them when she had sat down. The little Greenman was making tiny flowers for Rin to jump and catch. The Greenman was sitting on top of the silver eyed Coal Tar, who was flying high and going up and down the desk making the flowers go everywhere.
'If I didn't know he was Rin's brother I would think it was just another dumb low level demon, not another King of Gehenna,' Bon thought as he watched Rin catch a flower and put it in Shiemi's hair. The girl smiled as she thanked the cat.
The Coal Tar moved away from the desk so he was now over Reiji and let the Greenman cover the boy in flowers as he slept. One of the flowers landed upside down on Reiji's nose making him jump up in a sneeze fit as it rain flower around him. "Ash you little Shit! Why am I covered in so many fucking flowers!" Reiji shouted as he reached up and tired to his familiar. The Coal Tar easily moved out of his reach as it toasted the Greenman over to Rin, who caught him and gave back to Shiemi. Rin let out a cat like laugh as he jumped back over to Bon's desk and sat at the edge.
"Mr Shiratori please watch your language in my class." Yukio said as he walked into the classroom. He walked to the teachers desk and put the bag he brought in on top. "Now all of you know my name since yesterday but since I see a new student has joined us so I will introduce myself again. My name is Yukio Okumura and I'll be your Anti-Demon Pharmacology teacher. Lets all get along and have a good term." Yukio said as he gave the class a warm smile. "Though I am the same age as all of you; this will be my first year Lecturing. I have however, already studied the art of Exorcism for two years. As such in the context of your Exorcism studies I would like you to call me "Sensei". Now since some of you maybe wondering how I'm already an Exorcist and now a teacher at my age. You see my training began when I was a young boy of seven. I received a Mashou at a very young age. I have been able to see demons for as long as I can remember." Yukio's eyes had a far away look in them as he told the class his story. He quickly snapped out of it as Rin jumped over to Reiji's desk with a thump trying to catch the Coal Tar.
"Now my teaching lesson I first made up, before going on an unexpected job, would have had me asking who has or hasn't gotten a Mashou." Yukio opened the bag he brought and started looking through it. "For those who didn't have a Mashou I would have used a small amount of rotten animal blood that would be diluted with milk." Yukio pulled a half a quart of milk and a test tube filled with blood. "I would have diluted the blood in ten parts milk, and use a single drop of the blood resulting the liquid to draw out a few Goblins. They are a low level type of demon, only possessing enough magic to cause minor mischief. This makes them relatively easy to handle."
Reiji's Coal Tar stopped moving up and down to keep away from Rin's paws, it turned to look over at their teacher. A small evil little smile grow on its face as the demon's tail began to sway. 'Their easy to handle? Ha! That like saying their king is easy to control if you just give him something to drink. All that does is get to come to you from where ever he ran off too and now you have to join in whatever popped into his stupid little head.' Ash thought to himself. From the corner of his eye he say Rin getting ready to jump again. His smile grow as he moved his body slowly so the cat wouldn't notice. 'Lets see how easy Goblins are after this.'
Yukio pushed up his glasses with his free hand. "The blood must be diluted because the pure sent of the rotten animal blood would make them become agitated and ferocious. I picked this room isn't in general use and is currently home to some Goblins right now. So I'll be changing my first plans and use this today's lesson as a good opportunity for you all to learn a little demon ecology with them." Yukio told them as he shook the tube of blood a little as he spoke.
Rin jumped right as Yukio finished talking and Ash moved out of the way when Rin was at his highest. He then moved to Rin's side a he slammed his whole body into Rin's side sending the cat flying over to the teacher.
"Aaaahhh!" Rin shouted flew into Yukio's chest. "Oooooffff!" Yukio grunted as his back hit the blackboard as he wrapped his arms around the demon cat so he wouldn't fall; not knowing he had let go of the tube of blood until everyone heard the sound of glass hitting the ground as it released the blood into the air. "Eeewww, that stuff stinks!" Rin said into the still silent air.
Then something broke the ceiling and fell on to the desk behind Reiji's desk. "Demons!" Izumo shouted as everyone jumped out of their seats. She pulled Paku closer to her as one of the Demons landed to close to them.
"Oh this is even better then I thought," Ash said to himself as Reiji grabbed him out of the air. "You little shit!" Reiji growled at the Coal Tar.
"Watch it!" Bon shouted as he grabbed Konekomaru away from a demon that got to close to the smaller boy. "Master!" Rin cried out as he jumped out of Yukio's arms and ran over to Bon and his friends.
"Hobgoblins!" Yukio shouted, "Everybody, out of the classroom now!" He order as he pulled out his guns and shot a path for everyone to get to the door.
Once everyone got outside of the classroom Yukio closed the door so none of the demons could get out. "I'm very sorry about all this, but… if you could all just wait out here whilst I eliminate the demons. They are weak alone but in large numbers and them being driven into a frightful rage." Yukio shook his head as he pushed up his glasses again. "I must apologize; this was my mistake as I am still new at this." He turned his back to the class as he got ready to go back into the classroom. "That being said, I would like to see both Mr Suguro Ryuji and Mr Shiratori Reiji after class. I would like to speak to both you and your familiars." With that said he entered the classroom, closing the door tightly behind him and them all they heard was gun shots and demon screams.
Bon turned to Reiji with his resting pissed face with Rin laying across his shoulders. "Right now I don't care who your Coal Tar is to Rin. He is on my shit lest for that body slam he did to Rin and making the teacher drop the blood to summon those demons."
Reiji raised one of his pierced eyebrows. "And how do you know he did it on peruse? They were both just playing together." He shrugged his shoulders. "Could have been just some ruff play between demons."
Shima pocked his head around from behind Bon. Konekomaru and Shiemi where also behind him. Shiemi was grabbed by Shima when everyone was running out of the classroom. One of the Hobgoblins had tried to attack her. "The shit eating grin still on his little face says that yes he did." The pink haired monk pointed out.
Reiji opened his mouth to say something but the door opened and Yukio walked out. "Okay everyone it is safe to go in now. Let's finish class shale we?" He told them as he held the door open for everyone.
"Yes Sensei!" They all said together as they walked back into the classroom.
