Hey, guys! Here is the eleventh chapter of Holy World Chronicles! On the last day at Ocean City, the Alliance encounter trouble at the sea! Hope you liked it.
Chapter 11 - Last Day at the Beach
Ocean City, Worcester County, Maryland
It was night out at Dunes Manor Hotel after a hellish fourth day evening for the Alliance. Tomorrow, they will have their last day of the five day trip in Ocean City before going back to get ready for their mission to find the Cosmic Gems.
Outside on the balcony of the room he's sharing with Souma, Natsu and Hinata, Kouga was enjoying the night sky when he suddenly felt a strange headache.
"What was that?" Kouga asked himself.
He didn't actually heed total mind as he went back to bed, but that feeling will soon be back before the Pegasus Saint knows it.

Around 12:47 PM the next day, it is now the final day of the Alliance's five day trip with everyone spending it going around the city and the beach to enjoy themselves in groups.
One group comprised of Kouga, Yuna, Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Ruby, Weiss, Hinata and Yachi were walking down the Boardwalk to have some lunch.
Sitting with Yuna, Natsu, Happy and Lucy, Kouga was about to eat his cheeseburger with ketchup and pickles, Yuna gave him a flick on his forehead, preventing him from eating.
"What's that for?" Kouga asked, innocently.
"I know you're hungry. But at least wait until everyone pays for their food." Yuna replied, pointing to Ruby and Hinata still struggling with her choice as everyone else in line were getting impatient.
"The food's gonna go to waste if we don't eat it now." Natsu complained.
"But we're suppose to enjoy our last day together." Lucy explained.
"Well, we did enjoy our morning breakfast and went on some rides and games that were open." Happy explained.
"And nearly left us with little money to spare!" Lucy exclaimed.
Kouga, Natsu and Happy whistled in denial.
"Ow, ow, ow!" Ruby hollered, having been pulled in the left ear by Weiss as they, along with Hinata and Yachi just joined Kouga's group.
"Guessing the line nearly became a riot?" Natsu asked, getting an elbow from Lucy.
"Well, we managed to get our food after a whole thirty minutes of waiting." Yachi explained, feeling exhausted.
"I said I was sorry!" Ruby whined.
Weiss took a few deep breaths and calmed her anger, giving Ruby a chaste kiss on her sore ear to make it feel better.
"And I remind myself that what makes you sweet." Weiss commented.
Ruby blushed while the others awed at the sight.
"A sight of love~!" Happy hollered.
Kouga was now finally ready to eat his burger when that sensation came back in his head.
"W-What the?! This feeling again!" Kouga thought.
"Hey, uh… guys…" Hinata said.
"What's wrong?" Lucy asked.
"Can anyone tell me why is the sky getting dark?" Hinata asked, pointing towards the sky that was once clear and blue, now turning black and cloudy.
"But it was suppose to be all day sunny." Weiss said.
"Hey! Something's coming out from the beach!" A man hollered.
"Could be dangerous!" Another man hollered.
The Acts of Order, Yuna, Lucy, Weiss and Yachi turned to see something ominous happening at the beach, as many civilians were immediately running for their lives.
"That can't be good." Yachi said, getting scared.
Kouga, now certain the feeling he sensed yesterday is now emanating from the sea, immediately took action.
"You girls get the others and tell them to met us at the beach." Kouga explained.
"The five of us are gonna investigate." Kouga continued.
"Alright, but be very careful." Yuna said.
Kouga nodded as he, Natsu, Happy, Ruby and Hinata immediately raced towards the beach.

Ocean City Beach, Ocean City, Worcester County, Maryland
The Acts of Order raced to the beach, now completely empty, to see the sea now generating a large whirlpool big enough to reach the storm cloud.
The Acts of Order were perplexed.
"What kind of whirlpool goes that high?!" Hinata exclaimed.
"The supernatural kind." Kouga said.
"Kouga!" Yuna hollered.
The Acts of Order turned to see the rest of the Alliance and Oscar racing towards them. Erza quickly used her Magic to summon out Crescent Rose and Hinata's Ninjatō swords and give them to their respective owners.
"Is everyone safely evacuated?" Ruby asked.
"Yes. The local police has everyone safely secured and no one was dragged into the whirlpool when it first happened." Daichi explained.
"That's a relief." Happy said.
"Hey! Something's coming out of the water!" Souma hollered, pointing to the whirlpool getting more intense.
The Alliance and Oscar saw something else coming out of the whirlpool: a pair of bright yellow eyes that let out a loud growl.
An unknown source soon clashed with the whirlpool, scattering it all around as the source revealed itself: the legendary sea monster of mythology, the Kraken.
Hinata, Happy, Lucy, Weiss, Yachi, Emma, Raki, Selene, Wendy, Romeo, Evan, Levy, Lisanna, Jaune, Asahi and Oscar screamed in fright.
"Is that the Kraken?!" Yuna exclaimed.
"But what's it doing here?!" Sachi asked, in total fright.
"What's a Kraken?!" Nora asked, freaking out herself.
"It's a supernatural sea creature from mythology. It's actually the personal pet of the Sea God Poseidon!" Kiyoko explained.
"Why the heck's it here?!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Doesn't matter! We have to stop it!" Kouga hollered.
Most of the Alliance were flabbergasted.
"Are you crazy?! How can we fight that?!" Weiss exclaimed.
"And more to bad news, all your Clothstones are back at LA to be repaired after fighting Loki!" Raki hollered.
"Genbu-san said we Saints shouldn't rely too much on our cloths. And our Cosmo is our greatest strength." Eden explained.
"Eden's right! And we're the only ones who can fight it!" Kouga hollered.
"Kouga's right! We need to kick its butt before it destroys Ocean City!" Hinata hollered.
"I can get behind that!" Natsu hollered, mashing his right fist into his left palm.
"Then let's make a strategy and quickly." Erza said.

The Kraken let out another roar as strong waves were heading towards the beach. But those waves were blasted away by a combined attack from the Acts of Order, Eden, Souma, Gray, Erza, Blake, Yang, Kageyama, Tsukishima, Gajeel, Laxus and Daichi, with Natsu and Gajeel flown by their respective Exceed partners, Erza in her Heaven's Wheel Armor, and everyone else able to levitate thanks to Levy's Solid Script: Glide.
The rest of the Alliance and Oscar stayed behind to protect the city incase any waves came through.
"Hit this thing with everything you got!" Kouga hollered.
"Pegasus Meteor Fist!" Kouga shouted.
"Fire Dragon Brilliant Flame!" Natsu shouted.
"Sniper Shot!" Ruby shouted.
"Spike Slash!" Hinata shouted.
"Thunder Dance!" Eden shouted.
"Flame Desperado!" Souma shouted.
"Ice-Make: Ice Cannon!" Gray shouted.
"Trinity Sword!" Erza shouted.
"Iron Dragon Sword!" Gajeel shouted.
"Lightning Dragon Jaw!" Laxus shouted.
"Quick Draw!" Blake shouted.
"Yellow Rocket!" Yang shouted.
"Elemental Arrow: Fire!" Kageyama shouted.
"Crescent Moon!" Tsukishima shouted.
"Shield Throw!" Daichi shouted.
The 15 strongest members of the Alliance launched a combined assault on the Kraken, but the legendary sea monster barely felt anything.
"Not even a scratch?!" Gajeel exclaimed.
"It's a lot tougher than we thought." Kageyama said.
"Crap! It's coming!" Souma hollered, seeing the Kraken raising its tentacles for an attack.
The Monster Team took evasive action as the tentacles struck with extreme force. Souma and Tsukishima were hit and flown off as their GLIDE(s) were destroyed.
Gray quickly used a pair of grappling hooks made out of his magic and quickly grabbed them in time since the distance isn't far.
"Try not to fall off, you idiots." Gray said.
Souma sighed in relief, while Tsukishima grunted being saved by one of the people who now annoys him more than Hinata and Kageyama.
The Kraken roared once more as it unleashed something far worse: a massive tsunami.
The Monster Team were greatly shocked.

Back at the beach, the rest of the Alliance and Oscar were terrified.
"A TSUNAMI?!" Lucy exclaimed.
"If this hits the city, everyone's done for!" Mirajane hollered.
"WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE~!" Yachi, Emma, Wendy, Romeo, Evan, Lisanna, Jaune, Yamaguchi, Asahi and Oscar exclaimed in unison.
Yuna gritted her teeth in frustration.
"Please, guys… Do something!" Yuna thought.

The Monster Team were starting to feel the hopelessness against overwhelming power.
But Kouga isn't one to give up a fight that easily.
"I have to believe in my strength! A cloth doesn't determine a Saint's strength, but the Cosmo itself!" Kouga thought.
Without thinking, Kouga flew towards the tsunami to everyone's shock.
"What is that idiot doing?!" Gajeel exclaimed.
"He's flying into that tsunami without a plan!" Blake hollered.
"HE'S CRAZY!" Happy, Ruby and Hinata shouted in unison.
Natsu cracked a smile, knowing full well what Kouga is gonna do.

Kouga continued flying towards the massive tsunami; his fists enveloped in cosmo that burns bright.
"Shine, my Cosmo!" Kouga hollered.
Kouga's Cosmo rose to the Ryusei form at its highest peak as he is enveloped in an aura of blue energy, hoping to create just one miracle.
"I'm putting all I've got into this one attack!" Kouga hollered.
"Pegasus Comet… FIST~!" Kouga shouted, shooting a fist of light so big it punched through the tsunami itself.
Everyone were in total shock and awe at Kouga's power.
Kouga smiled before starting to pass out from the over usage of his power, starting to fall down into the ocean.
But Laxus was able to catch him in time by turning into a bolt of lightning and brought him to Eden's side.
"Here." Laxus said.
"Thanks, Laxus." Eden said.
"He sure is one reckless idiot." Souma commented.
"Coming from reckless idiots like you guys." Tsukishima commented, earning irritated glares from Natsu, Ruby, Hinata, Yang, Kageyama and Gajeel.
"We need to finish off the Kraken with everything we've got!" Erza hollered, now in her Sea Empress Armor to fend off another tentacle.
"Then let's end this fight!" Eden hollered.
Gray, Erza, Gajeel, Laxus, Blake, Yang, Kageyama, Tsukishima and Daichi charged first, attacking in multiple directions against the Kraken, who tried to attack them with the sheer strength of its tentacles.
But the nine of them were able to dodge or block the hardest they can do.
"It sure is strong!" Gray hollered.
"But we're far from done." Daichi said.
Natsu, Ruby, Hinata, Eden and Souma charged at the monster together.
Eden and Souma began activating their Cosmo to their highest limit, or in simple terms, to the level of Ryusei.
"Rumble, my Cosmo!" Eden hollered.
"Burn, my Cosmo!" Souma hollered.
"Don't leave me out of the fun! Lightning Fire Dragon Mode!" Natsu shouted, activating his Dual Elemental Dragon Mode.
"Lionet Bomber!" Souma shouted.
"Thunder Fera Caelos!" Eden shouted.
"Lightning Fire Dragon Roar!" Natsu shouted.
"Petal Whirlwind!" Ruby shouted.
"Spike Slash!" Hinata shouted.
The five combined their best moves for a devastating effect on the Kraken, which worked splendidly.
The Kraken let out a roar as it retreated back into the ocean in defeat.
The skies started to become clear again with the storm dying out.
In a few seconds, the Alliance knew they were victorious.
"All… RIGHT~!" The Alliance and Oscar yelled in unison.
Everyone in the Alliance and Oscar cheered and hugged out of joy they made it out of another crisis. Even the Monster Team celebrated (though Kageyama and Tsukishima didn't want to cheer loudly).
Kouga opened his eyes a little to see his efforts weren't in vain; happy to know his friends would pick up where he left off.

"Can't believe we have to leave after a five day trip." Souma said, feeling a little down.
Five hours have now passed after the Alliance drove the Kraken back into the sea, they spend the remainder of the day having fun however they wished. They did get lots of people crowding and congratulating them for saving their lives, with the local news crew commenting on recent events today. They only answered vague questions, and left important details so not to cause public panic. But getting loads of fans and potential merchandise coming their way will be a bump on the road for them, but that can be worried later.
They just reached their four vehicles, the Combat Bunker, Party Wagon, Crow Cycle and Bumblebee.
"Yeah. But we did made the best of it." Eden explained.
"Especially fighting the Kraken." Yang said.
"Please don't remind us of what happened this afternoon." Blake said, having a sweat drop on her forehead.
"Do we really have to go back in those 'death traps'?" Natsu asked, shaking hard like a leaf.
Gajeel, Wendy, Laxus, Erik, Jaune and Balto were also shaking like leaves because of them getting motion sickness.
"If you wanna walk ALL the way back to New York for days, be my guest." Gray explained.
"Shut up!" Natsu exclaimed.
Kouga, who managed to rest for those five hours, was looking at Ocean City one more time before Yuna nudged him as everyone were getting on their respective vehicles: Yang and Blake on Bumblebee, Daichi this time riding the Crow Cycle, and the rest on the Combat Bunker and Party Wagon.
"Let's go, Kouga." Yuna said.
Kouga nodded with a smile and followed Yuna into the Combat Bunker.
All four vehicles started their engines as they left the city parking lot near the beach.
Everyone in the Alliance all had a really fun time and they wished coming back again one day for fun.

The Pacific Ocean
In the vast seas of the Pacific Ocean, very large fins were shown as something massive was swimming under water.
It's destination: the United States!? But what could be the massive figure's reason(s) for going there?!

Nishinoya: We just took down a freakin' Kraken!
Tanaka: Damn right we did! Send it packing back to the sea!
Romeo: Natsu-nii and the others were so cool!
Sugawara: Can you three try to dial back the crazy?
Tanaka: C'mon, Suga-san! You were cheering with us back there! Don't ruin our moment!
Sugawara: Okay, okay, I was cheering a lot.
Romeo: Besides, even though we didn't help in the fight, we cheered our hardest for them.
Nishinoya: Just like we're playing volleyball when the world feels like it's gonna end!
Sugawara: Where in the world did you come up with that?
Nishinoya: Just thought of it at the top of my head.
Tanaka & Romeo: So cool!
Sugawara: My juniors never fail to be imaginative.
Sugawara: Next time: Chapter 12 - King of Monsters.
Romeo: I wanna play volleyball when we get back!
Nishinoya: Then I'll show you the ways of a libero!
Sugawara: Hold on! At least let me help with the sets if Tanaka's practicing.
Tanaka: You bet!
