Hey, guys! Here is the fifth chapter of Super World Chronicles! The Union ready themselves for the first two parts of the "Heroes Exams". Hope you like it.
Chapter 5 - Hero Exams: Part One
Heroes Office, Downtown Dallas, Dallas, Texas
In one of the second floor classrooms, Kakashi is holding a meeting with Gaara, Kisuke, Yoruichi, Tristan, All Might, Aizawa and Endeavor to discuss plans after obtaining much information they've gathered this past week.
"If my intel is correct, it's plausible Khaos already has the first Elemental Stone, containing the element of darkness." Kisuke explained.
"Looks like they're in the lead." Aizawa said, with concern in his voice.
"I've also found some sightings of all our enemies we've encountered in our respective worlds in the past around the world." Yoruichi explained, showing pictures of Akatsuki members Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki at Italy; Ulquiorra Schiffer in the Himalayas; Balseph with another unknown individual in Afghanistan; and the League of Villains in Chicago, Illinois.
"Unbelievable. That's like every enemy we've fought before." Endeavor said, in disbelief.
"As we know, Khaos is capable of using forbidden magic to summon illusions of what he's seen before creating them. Worse, he can make them completely real and not just some magic trick with even their abilities and memories in tact." Kakashi explained.
"Worse part, Naruto and Sasuke don't have the strength they've obtained from the Sage of Six Paths during the final stages of the Fourth Great Ninja War." Gaara explained, which Kakashi nodded in agreement.
"It's likely that way since coming here, as with all the Soul Reapers and the artes users present. Let's just hope for ourselves Khaos' forces are in the same boat." Aizawa explained.
"Agreed." All Might said.
"We need a way to help everyone grow stronger so they're prepared for the battles to come." Kisuke explained.
"Which means we need a plan before then." Tristan said.
"Well… I have some suggestions to that." Aizawa said, which gets the attention of Kakashi, Gaara, Kisuke, Yoruichi, Tristan, All Might and Endeavor.
Only All Might knows what Aizawa's thinking.

Outside in the backyard, Eri is in the middle of practicing her Quirk to heal a fish under the tutelage of Sakura, Orihime and Shionne.
Having heard about Eri's Rewind Quirk and sharing similarities with Orihime's Shun Shun Rikka, the latter offered to help her train to control her Quirk and use it to save lives, with Shionne joining in since she understand the nature of Eri's powers with no control, given her own experience with her "thorns" that hurt anyone upon contact, which were thankfully removed after the final battle against the Great Spirit of Rena and Vholron, and her and Alphen uniting Dahna and Rena into one. Sakura volunteered since she speaks of experience in learning medical Ninjutsu and used the training method Tsunade taught her.
Initially struggling, Eri was now calm and keeping control as the wound on the fish was closing up.
"I'm doing it! I'm doing it!" Eri hollered.
"Good job, Eri-chan!" Orihime hollered.
"That's amazing." Shionne said, giving a sigh of relief.
"You're getting better at this." Sakura commented.
Eri giggled as Kota, watching from the sides cheered.
From a distance, Naruto, Hinata, Ichigo, Alphen, Pan, Izuku and Ochaco smiled.
"Thanks for giving Eri this opportunity to train." Ochaco said, thanking Naruto and Ichigo for suggesting the idea.
"It's the least we could do for her." Naruto said.
"I'm glad you told us and how it's similar to Orihime's powers." Ichigo explained.
"And she's getting better and better every time while we take this slow and steady." Izuku explained.
"Plus, Shionne-san managed to heal my injured arms when she noticed them." Izuku continued, still wearing the arm brace despite Shionne having healed Izuku's arms in the last week with no longer barring the same scars that were once a result of the current One For All user going past his limits to defeat Muscular.
"She wouldn't stop nagging to heal them after what she heard you did. And be actually lucky you don't have a sense of pain that I once had." Alphen explained, having a sweat drop on his forehead.
Izuku laughed sheepishly.
"Better than Orihime pestering you. She's not one to turn a blind eye to injury." Ichigo commented, giving a cocky smirk.
Alphen elbowed Ichigo in the gut, giving off his own smirk.
"She'll be in good hands with you two to say the least." Naruto commented, referring to a now blushing Izuku and Ochaco.
"Everyone's getting better at their own pace." Naruto said.
"Knock, knock." Mirio said, appearing with his face from the ground thanks to his Quirk, scarring the crap out of Naruto, Ichigo, Alphen, Pan, Izuku, Hinata and Ochaco.
"Togata-senpai!" Izuku and Ochaco exclaimed.
"Could you not do that?!" Naruto, Ichigo and Alphen exclaimed in unison.
"Sorry. But the teachers said everyone must meet at Ground Delta in fifteen minutes." Mirio explained.
"That's perfect." Ichigo said, in a sarcastic manner.

Reaching the second floor, the Union looked at the surroundings of Ground Delta to prepare for any surprises.
Kon, Hootle, Eri, Kota and Melissa went to the waiting room and watch the training on the TV screen with Gaara, Yoruichi and Aizawa.
"We're basically in the dark right now?" Kiba asked.
"No. We're just waiting patiently for what our mentors have in store for us." Iida replied.
"Alright, everyone. Here is the first part of the Heroes Exams to test yourselves for the upcoming battles when our mission begins." Aizawa explained, via microphone.
"Heroes Exams?" The Union asked in unison.
"The first part…" Aizawa said.
The scenery in Ground Delta changed to a rainforest arena, where holographic images of lions, rhinos, wolves, eagles and snakes that appear to be around the height of 10 to 12 feet with extreme aggressive and killing instincts, just showed up in an instant.
"… is to survive fighting these holographic creatures for 2 hours." Aizawa explained.
Izuku, Pan, Orihime, Ochaco, Choji, Rinwell, Mineta, Kaminari, Mina and Tamaki screamed in fright.
"2 hours of survival?!" Renji exclaimed.
"I'd say bring it on!" Bakugo hollered, making small sparks on his palms with a battle-ready grin.
"Couldn't agree more myself." Law said, mashing his fists together with a grin similar to Bakugo's.
"Then let's get this party started!" Naruto hollered.

In the waiting room, Kon, Hootle, Eri, Kota, Melissa, Gaara, Yoruichi and Aizawa watched as the battle started.
"You got this, Mama and Papa!" Eri hollered.
Hootle chirped while laying on Eri's head, cheering for his sister figure, Rinwell.
"Get'em, you guys!" Kota hollered.
"This does feel a bit too extreme, Aizawa-sensei." Melissa said.
"I agree with you on that. But your shinobi along with Ichigo's group and the Straw Hats have faced far worse without adult supervision and made it out of these situations alive." Aizawa explained.
"My students have faced these kind of situations despite not being Pro Heroes. But if this is a war, they will all need to be prepare for the worse to come." Aizawa continued.
"So they can handle it as a united team." Aizawa finished.

Back at Ground Delta, the Union were putting put an excellent fight against the holographic creatures without any problems with increasing teamwork and effectiveness.
Naruto had two shadow clones distracted a giant lion before Ichigo slashed it in two with Zangetsu.
"Still some left." Ichigo said.
In groups of 2, 3 or even solo (like Sasuke and Bakugo), the Union were holding their own as more monsters kept falling down.
"There's still an hour and 30 minutes left. Let's give these monsters a massive team play." Naruto explained.
"Hey, guys! Let's combine our attacks to thin the herd!" Naruto hollered.
"Roger!" The Union hollered in unison.
"Rasengan!" Naruto shouted.
"Getsuga Tensho: Rei!" Ichigo shouted.
"Dragon Swarm!" Alphen shouted.
"Delaware Smash Air Force!" Izuku shouted.
The Acts of Hope combined their attacks on another large lion and a large wolf.
"Eight Trigrams Air Palm!" Hinata shouted.
"Koten Zanshun!" Orihime shouted.
"Ignis Celestra!" Shionne shouted.
"Wild Pounce!" Pan shouted.
"Zero Gravity!" Ochaco shouted.
Hinata, Orihime, Shionne, Pan and Ochaco combined their own moves on two giant eagles with strong effect.
"Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu!" Sasuke shouted.
"Cherry Blossom Clash!" Sakura shouted.
"Some no mai, Tsukishiro!" Rukia shouted, having activated her Shikai.
"Zabimaru Tsukisashi!" Renji shouted, also having activated his Shikai.
"Talon Storm!" Law shouted.
"Lion's Howl!" Kisara shouted.
"AP Shot: Auto-Cannon!" Bakugo shouted.
"Ice Stalagmite!" Shoto shouted.
Sasuke, Sakura, Rukia, Renji, Law, Kisara, Bakugo and Shoto combined their attacks on two rhinos and a snake.
"Ninja Art: Super Beast Scroll!" Sai shouted.
"Shadow Possession Jutsu!" Shikamaru shouted.
"Mind Transmission Jutsu!" Ino shouted.
"Human Boulder!" Choji shouted.
"Ninja Art: Man Beast Clone! Fang Over Fang!" Kiba shouted, after transforming Akamaru into a clone of himself.
"Parasitic Insects Jutsu!" Shino shouted.
"Leaf Hurricane!" Lee shouted.
"Ninja Tool: Blasting Sphere!" Tenten shouted.
"Heilig Pfeil!" Uryu shouted.
"Hado #31: Shakkaho!" Momo Hinamori shouted.
"Brazo Derecho del Gigante!" Sado shouted.
"Air Thrust!" Rinwell shouted.
"Pounce!" Nala shouted.
"Stalagmite!" Dohalim shouted.
"Recipro Acceleration!" Iida shouted.
"Red Gauntlet!" Kirishima shouted.
"Frog Arrow!" Tsuyu shouted.
"Creation: Flash Doll!" Momo Yaoyorozu shouted.
"Claw of the Dark Abyss!" Tokoyami shouted.
"Super Stick!" Mineta shouted.
"Discharge!" Kaminari shouted.
"Acid Shot!" Mina shouted.
"Heartbeat Tuner!" Kyoka shouted.
"Permeation Punch!" Mirio shouted.
"Ballet Juggle!" Nejire shouted.
"Marlin Rapier!" Tamaki shouted.
"Double Jumbo Fist!" Itsuka shouted.
"Steel Fist!" Tetsutetsu shouted.
"Bomb Present!" Hatsume shouted.
"Persona Cord!" Shinso shouted.
"Squall!" Inasa shouted.
"Mirage Desire!" Camie shouted.
The rest of the Union combined their attacks to take out the rest.
"That should reduce their numbers." Shikamaru said.
"We should keep our guards up still." Tokoyami said.
"I'm still good to go!" Dark Shadow hollered.
"You holding up, Shinso-kun?" Iida asked.
"Yeah. My Persona Cords can mimic even animal voices to stop them in their tracks." Shinso replied.
"Excellent!" Iida hollered, giving a positive thumbs-up.
Shinso didn't heed as the Union resumed their battle.

After finishing the 2 hour battle, the Union headed to the waiting room to catch their breaths.
"I'm so drained!" Mina complained, lying on one of the couches in the waiting room.
"Tell me about it." Ino said.
"On the bright side, our teamwork skills have improved!" Iida hollered, doing his robot hand wave.
"Ribbit. Glad to see you still got energy, Iida-kun." Tsuyu commented.
"We did great! Right, Izuku?" Ochaco asked.
Ochaco didn't get an answer as she began flabbergasted at Izuku taking down notes with his muttering coming out, starting with the unique abilities of Naruto's peers.
The constant muttering became loud as everyone (expect for Kaminari for an odd reason) were flabbergasted while the ones most annoyed were Bakugo… and Sasuke. Hatsume, for some reason, is the only one not weirded out.
"That's weird." Nami said.
"Oh, Midoriya-kun does that a lot when he's overthinking." Mirio explained.
"Where did he even have that notebook?! In his pockets?!" Ichigo thought, flabbergasted.
"Speaking of weird…" Naruto said, before holding back a laugh.
"What happened to Denki?" Naruto asked, pointing to Kaminari, now in his "Brain Dead" state and saying the word "Yay…"
Everyone, even Izuku, got out of the annoyance from Izuku's muttering and began to laugh at seeing Kaminari's stupidity. Especially Kyoka who couldn't hold it in and laughed the hardest.
"That's what happens when Kaminari uses up his Quirk too much." Kirishima explained, before laughing again.
"So he's like a human battery! How ironic to have a power like that!" Kiba hollered, holding his stomach as he started laughing too.
"Yay…" Kaminari said.

Minutes later, the comedy died down when Aizawa and Yoruichi appeared with some news that the next part of the exams today is taking a written test based on their current knowledge and what they'll know for the future of their worlds and on Earth.
"A WRITTEN TEST? SERIOUSLY?!" The Union (except Sasuke, Shino, Sado, Dohalim, Tokoyami and Shinso) exclaimed in unison.
"That's correct. You all have at least 1 hour for quick reviews with the notes you've taken during class right now." Aizawa explained.
"Plus, if you get a bad grade on this and accidentally screw up tomorrow's exams… I may find a suitable punishment." Aizawa continued, giving off a grin that spells trouble.
Among the Union that were freaking out the most were Naruto, Kiba, Choji, Lee, Renji, Law, Kirishima, Kaminari, Mina, Tamaki, Tetsutetsu and Inasa.
"HE'S GONNA MAKE US GO THROUGH THE SAME HELL DURING TRAINING CAMP!" Kirishima, Mina and Kaminari thought in unison, having remembered when the three of them, along with Sato and Sero had to deal with harsh training after failing the practical exams at U.A.
"CALM DOWN, EVERYONE!" Iida shouted, trying to defuse the situation.
"We should do group sessions right away!" Rukia hollered.
Bakugo immediately grabbed Kirishima, Kaminari and Mina to give them a study lesson: Bakugo Style. Camie followed suit.
Sasuke didn't want to study with anyone and made his way to study alone.
Everyone else got into groups and quickly began reviewing for the test.

1 hour later…
The team (now joined by Melissa) started taking their 30 minute test in the third floor secondary classroom, each taking tests depending on their individual current knowledge.
Pan, Nala and Akamaru were left out since they're animals and the test requires human minds.
Aika and Kota were taken lighter tests with simply kindergarten-level questions. For Alphen, Shionne, Kisara and Dohalim, they were given tests based on adults with greater knowledge, testing their current capabilities in thinking.
"Gotta focus… gotta focus…" Kaminari muttered, intensely focused on his test.
"Even if I can't get the correct answers, I just gotta follow my instincts!" Law thought, coming up with the best answer that comes to mind.
"I'm gonna ace this test!" Kiba thought, refusing to lose.
"This is bad! Luffy's worst enemy!" Usopp thought.

After 30 minutes, everyone handed in their tests to Aizawa.
"Good work." Aizawa said.
"But don't forget tomorrow's last part will be much harder." Aizawa continued.
"He's gonna make us go through the punishment if we suck!" Naruto, Sakura, Ino, Choji, Kiba, Tenten, Law, Rinwell, Kirishima, Mineta, Kaminari, Mina, Tamaki, Tetsutetsu and Inasa thought in unison, shivering with fear.
"Be sure to have a good day and be ready." Aizawa continued.
Aizawa left the classroom, as everyone began to discuss the possibilities about the final part of the exams tomorrow.

Bakugo began to growl. Melissa entered the scene in a worried state.
Melissa: Guys!
Bakugo: The hell do you want?!
Melissa: Uh, well…
Bakugo, Kaminari and Mina read the paper in Usopp's hands, and became very surprised.
Kaminari & Mina: WE'RE DOOMED!
Bakugo (grinning sadistically): Things are getting interesting now!

Bakugo: If you two don't shut up… I'M GONNA EFFING KILL YOU ALL!
Melissa (showing a nervous expression): This isn't gonna end well.

I haven't heard any news about RWBY Volume 9 after the shocking conclusion of Volume 8, but hopefully things will turn around when Volume 9 comes out. On a bright side, almost done with one more chapter to do, then I'll get right on the next chapter of Grand World Chronicles with the same room competition as the previous two stories, which I know it's cliche, but everyone has their own room designs and how the room contest in the home of our heroes in the third story will play out.
