Hey, guys! Here is the ninth chapter of Super World Chronicles! Our heroes start the first day of their five-day trip in Atlantic City with a swim race. Hope you like it.
Chapter 9 - Beach Time
Heroes Office, Downtown Dallas, Dallas, Texas
It was finally the day the Union begin their five day vacation at Atlantic City. After facing the terrible ordeal in the Underworld, they did tons of packing, shopping and planning, and managing to get money from at least 3 hour volunteer service, that all pays off.
"Beach, here we come!" Mina hollered, pumping her arms up.
"This'll be your first time, Shionne." Alphen said.
"Yeah." Shionne said, smiling with positivity.
Shionne was the most excited because for the first time in years, she can express herself into having fun with all the friends, the "family" she'd longed for.
Tenya and Alphen volunteered to supervise the boys since the former is Class 1-A's class president, and Alphen the best choice because of his charisma and inspiring personality. The girls' supervisor will be Momo Yaoyorozu (as Class 1-A's vice president and most mature member), Melissa (being a third year and the most responsible to keeping Hatsume in line), Itsuka (being Class 1-B's president and "big sister"), and Kisara (as the mother of this new family). Aizawa also volunteered to keep all the youngsters in line since he's the most strictest person to even deal with the more rambunctious members (i.e., Bakugo, Kaminari, Mineta). The other adults went out and about to find the locations of the Elemental Stones across the world.
The headed to the building next door, which is actually the workshop/garage to take their vehicles of choice to get to Atlantic City since it may take nearly a whole day to get there by land. But the gang are gonna travel by air with the Falneitz and another aerial vehicle that's just finished and ready for take off, since the travel time by air will take about 5 hours.
"Most of us will take the Falneitz. But at least some of us will have to take-" Melissa explained, but Hatsume butted in.
"Feast your eyes on a marvel of aircraft revolution!" Hatumse hollered, revealing on her phone the security cameras to show the second floor to reveal a white, blue and red state-of-the-art helicopter big enough to fit at least 15 people.
"I give you… THE HURRICANE!" Hatsume shouted, making a dramatic pose with fake explosions.
"AWESOME!" Naruto, Izuku, Kiba, Choji, Lee, Orihime, Momo Hinamori, Law, Rinwell, Kirishima, Kaminari, Mina, Inasa and Nejire shouted in unison.
Everyone else (except Sasuke, Bakugo and Aizawa) were in awe.
"All right, settle down. First we need to…" Aizawa said, only for his instructions began to fall on deaf ears with the entire League arguing, shouting, and making noise with Tenya in vain trying to calm everyone down.
Aizawa groaned in irritation.
"Why do I even bother…" Aizawa muttered.
"Well I might as well let them all have their fun for this week." Aizawa said.

After one hour of getting ready, the Union and Aizawa boarded the Falneitz and The Hurricane with both vehicles taking to the skies at extreme speeds.
An ordinary helicopter would have a hard time keeping up with the Falneitz, but its engines were upgraded with Renan technology by Dohalim with Melissa and Hatsume's assistance. And luckily for both aircraft vehicles, they have plenty of fuel to travel to and back from their weekly trip.
They're right now enjoy the sights in the skies as they pass through Nashville, the capital of Tennessee before reaching Kentucky.
Looking at Kentucky, they saw the Mammoth Cave National Park and really wondered what's it like on the inside. Tsuyu suggested when they get a day off, they should fly over and have a look for themselves. Many inside both the Falneitz and The Hurricane were very interested and would make a good place for sightseeing or maybe an off-the-record training exercise.

Atlantic City Beach, Atlantic City, New Jersey
The League and Aizawa successfully arrived at the Atlantic City International Airport to land their vehicles in a reserved parking space. They walked at least an hour to the closest hotel, which is Showboat Atlantic City and packed their stuff in the rooms they'll be staying in.
Aizawa let the Union have their fun on the beach while he stays back at the hotel to finish reservations.
The boys were the first to change and now down at the beach waiting for the girls to get done changing. All the boys mostly wore swim trunks with some wearing opened-up (short or long-sleeved) shirts, sweaters, or a few wearing swim shirts, cap hats, sunglasses or shades, and some accessories that match each person's style.
Naruto wore plain orange swim trunks, Ichigo wore dark purple swim trunks with a yellow cross on the right side, with a red and yellow open shirt and a chain necklace with a cross, Alphen (not wearing his half-mask) wearing blue and white swim trunks with a stripe pattern on the left side, and a blue, white and red sweater, Pan just wearing a yellow and black swim suit with a cowboy sunhat, Izuku wearing green swim trunks and an open-up sleeveless blue jacket with a white horizontal stripe that resembles All Might's superhero outfit, Sasuke wore black swim trunks and an open white collared shirt, Sai wore black and white checkered swim trunks, Shikamaru wearing dark green swim trunks and a white hoodie, Choji wearing red trunks with a black swim shirt, Kiba wears dark grey swim trunks with a red right wristband and a red bandanna, Akamaru wore only sunglasses, Shino wore an insect-themed swim trunk with a forest green sweater completely closed and zipped up to his mouth with only his goggles still on, Lee wore only a red speedo with a yellow star in the middle, Uryu wore light pants that are comfortable and a white collared shirt over a dark sleeveless shirt, Sado wore a Hawaiian shirt and blue swim trunks, Renji wore black swim trunks with red lightning decals and a white sleeveless shirt, Kon basically wore a swim suit made by Uryu (which Kon was not happy about at all), Law wore blue and white swim pants with a shark-tooth necklace around his neck, a red sleeveless shirt and a white sweater worn around his waist and sunglasses, Dohalim wore a white, blue and turquoise sweater over a black and turquoise speedo, Bakugo wore dark red swim shorts and a light grey short sleeved hoodie, Shoto wearing a pair of black swim shorts with white vertical stripes at both sides, Tenya wearing black and blue swim pants and swim goggles worn over his head while wearing some kind of blue swim cap, Kirishima wore red and black swim trunks with vertical stripes and a shark tooth necklace like Law's, Kaminari wearing yellow and black lightning bolt-themed swim trunks and black and yellow shades, Tokoyami wore black and violet swim trunks and a black hoodie, Mineta wore only a dark purple speedo, Hitoshi wore dark purple swim trunks, and a chain necklace with a rare diamond hanging from the center, Mirio wore red, blue and white swim trunks based off the American Flag, Tamaki wore plain white swim trunks and a plain blue hoodie, Tetsutetsu wore dark grey swim trunks, Inasa wore brown swim trunks with fish patterns, and Kota wore a white short sleeve shirt, dark green swim trunks and black and red swim goggles worn around his neck.
"Now this is the nice fresh summer air!" Kaminari hollered.
"Yeah! We're gonna kick it off with a bang!" Law hollered.
"Need I remind all of you that we must behave ourselves and not draw too much attention?!" Tenya asked, waving his arms in his usual robot motions.
"Not too much attention gives attention!" Mirio joked.
"You're not funny." Sasuke said, making Mirio sweat drop.
"It was to us, man." Naruto said.
"Your jokes are no better." Sasuke said.
"WHAT?!" Naruto exclaimed.
"We're here!" Ino hollered.
"About time you ladies d-" Renji said, only to stop when he and all the other guys became surprised at the girls in their swimsuits.
Hinata wore an orange one-piece swimsuit, Orihime wore a yellow two-piece bikini with a clover symbol on the right side, Shionne wore a white and blue two-piece with a blue band worn around her right thigh, a puffy turquoise and dark blue jacket, and her hair tied in a high ponytail wrapped by a blue and white bow, Ochaco wearing a two-piece bikini with yellow, orange and lime green swirling patterns that exposes her midriff and a long orange beach skirt tied around her waist, Eri wearing a white one-piece with a red sunhat, Sakura wearing a two-piece pink bikini, Ino wearing a yellow two-piece with black vertical stripes, Tenten wearing a sleeveless red bikini that exposes her midriff with green lining and a yellow lotus flower in the center, and blue jumping bean shorts, Rukia wearing a blue and white polka dot string two-pieces bikini with a yellow flower worn on the right side of her hair and over the bikini is a white short-sleeved hoodie, Momo Hinamori wearing a magenta one-piece, Rinwell wearing a green and white two-piece with a red and yellow metal worn over the waist, a red and yellow right wristband, a pale green and yellow sleeveless hoodie, and a red variation of her hairpin, Kisara wearing a white and black striped two-piece bikini with an additional belt worn around the waist, and really cool hi-colored shades, Nala simply wearing jungle-themed shades and a white bandanna around her neck, Tsuyu wearing a sleeveless swimsuit with light green and white vertical stripes that covers her torso and thighs, Momo Yaoyorozu wearing a red two-piece, Mina wearing a string two-piece light blue frilled bikini, Kyoka wearing a yellow bikini that also shows off her midriff and a yellow frilly skirt, Nejire wearing a light blue two-piece bikini with white fluffy edges and her hair tied in a ponytail while the lower half still tied in it's usual style, Itsuka wearing a teal two-piece bikini, Hatsume wearing a dark red one-piece, Camie wearing a black two-piece bikini, and Melissa wearing a dark blue bikini with a long white open skirt tied around her waist that still exposes her left leg, her hair tied to a long ponytail with a black ribbon, and not wearing her glasses, giving a clear view of her aqua blue eyes.
Hootle is the only one who doesn't have to wear anything.
Naruto, Ichigo, Izuku, Kiba, Choji, Kirishima, Tetsutetsu and Tamaki spat out saliva in shock, Lee, Kon, Kaminari, Mineta, Law and Inasa skyrocketed with nosebleeds, and the rest of the guys (well, except Sasuke, Shino, Sado, Dohalim and Hitoshi) were in total awe.
"Seems like the boys are impressed with our lovely swimsuits." Mina said.
"Except for the perverts who were sent flying." Kyoka said.
"Well, that's their fault." Rukia said.
"You ladies know how to impress." Ichigo commented.
"Thanks, Kurosaki-kun." Orihime said.
Alphen was totally mesmerized by Shionne in her first swimsuit. Shionne herself was no different at seeing how dashing Alphen looks in his swimwear.
"Y-You look…" Alphen and Shionne stuttered in unison.
"Get a room, lovebirds." Sakura said, causing Alphen and Shionne to blush furiously.
"Enough talk… let's play in the sand!" Kirishima hollered, pumping his fist in the air.

A few minutes later, the Union started having fun at the beach with most of the boys doing a swim race or building sandcastles, with the exception of Sasuke and Bakugo brooding off, Mineta, Kaminari and Kon chasing girls, and Shikamaru laying under a tree, and the girls doing either volleyball, playing in the sand or getting tans.
The Acts of Hope were sitting together on the sand, enjoying time to themselves.
"Man… we beat one god and got awarded for a vacation here." Izuku said.
"I know. It's really awesome we get this chance to relax and enjoy ourselves." Alphen said.
"It was also nice the city is letting Nala and Pan in, since they're not domestic animals." Ichigo explained.
"Well, we had to make up a good excuse for the people here to buy it." Izuku explained.
"As long as our cats can behave themselves." Izuku added, feeling a little nervous.
"I'm being a gentle house-cat, so no one has to worry about it." Pan explained.
Naruto chuckled.
"I'm gonna remember this day and the rest of the whole week we spent having fun." Naruto explained.
"Sometimes… feels like this back home after winning the war." Naruto continued.
"So…" Naruto said, clenching his fist in determination. "… I'm gonna keep fighting to not only protect the peace of my world, but also bring peace to the other worlds."
Ichigo, Alphen, Pan and Izuku smiled and thought of the same thing.
"We'll keep getting strong." Izuku said.
"And I'll get so strong I'll be beyond you, Deku!" Bakugo hollered, causing Izuku to jump and notice Bakugo walking with his "Bakusquad" (with Camie filling in for Sero).
"K-Kacchan! Didn't see you there!" Izuku hollered.
"Wow. You seem to be in a bad mood." Naruto said.
"Well, we had to drag him back here." Kaminari said, feeling out of breath.
"My man was behaving like a little goblin. Totally legit." Camie commented.
"Hey!" Bakugo exclaimed, having a red tick mark on his forehead.
"You're always in a bad mood, as usual." Ichigo said.
"So you losers wanna settle things right here? Huh?" Bakugo asked, generating explosions in his palms.
The Acts of Hope couldn't think of a way to counter Bakugo's threat.
"Why don't we try doing that 50 meter race at the beach?" Mina asked.
"Oh, yeah! We can settle things this time!" Kaminari hollered.
"Guess I'll go and get the others." Kirishima said, racing off to gather everyone.
"How does this work?" Alphen asked.
"Well for one: we get to use our powers as long as we don't destroy anything." Mina replied.
"Hearing you talking logic scares me." Naruto commented.
"Says the idiot with no brain." Mina said, giving off a cocky smirk.
"Hey!" Naruto exclaimed.
"This time Deku, I'll crush you!" Bakugo hollered, causing Izuku to flinch but maintain a hard stare.

Luckily for them, everyone were convinced and delighted to do the idea for some sort of training to improve their speed and stamina. In fact, all the boys and girls (except Pan, Eri, Kota, Melissa, Akamaru, Kon, Hootle and Nala) are participating.
So to make it like a 50 meter dash, Shoto created a steady pillar of ice that extended to 50 meters without collapse despite drawing unfortunate attention. But all that matters is the race.
They decided to do this in groups of four with an odd number of people in each. First up was Bakugo, Kaminari, Tokoyami, Mineta, Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, Shino, Sado and Dohalim.
"Then, on your marks…" Melissa said, being the referee with the whistle.
"Get set…" Melissa continued.
The whistle was blown as the first group made their run. But Bakugo was a few steps ahead.
"Blast Rush Turbo!" Bakugo shouted, using his explosions for a burst of speed, making it to the icicle first.
"How was that, you sidekicks?!" Bakugo asked, being cocky.
"Don't give me 'How was that'?!" Kiba exclaimed.
"You didn't put your feet in the water first!" Kirishima exclaimed.
"It's called freestyle swimming!" Bakugo snapped, generating explosions in his palms again.

The next group up was Shoto, Kirishima, Tetsutetsu, Inasa, Hitoshi, Sasuke, Sakura, Kiba, Lee, Rukia, Renji and Kisara.
"On your marks…" Melissa said.
"Get set…" Melissa continued, with the next group getting ready.
The whistle blew as the second group ran to the ocean.
Inasa used his winds to fly faster, while Lee was shouting "YOUTH" at the top of his lungs while making a mad dash. Unfortanetly, Lee was so fast he ended up crashing into not only Inasa, but also Kiba.
Shoto and Rukia used their respective ice abilities to make it across, while Sasuke and Sakura used chakra control to run on the water. Renji used Flash Step to make it across, while Kisara simply swam her hardest to keep up and did she swam hard.
The ones who made it were Sasuke, Sakura, Rukia, Renji, Kisara and Shoto.
"You five were supposed to be swimming!" Kaminari and Mineta hollered in unison.

The third group up was Hinata, Orihime, Shionne, Ochaco, Sai, Momo Hinamori, Law, Rinwell, Mina, Itsuka, Mirio, Nejire, Tamaki and Camie.
"On your marks…" Melissa said.
"Get set…" Melissa continued, with the third to last group getting ready.
The whistle blew with the third group making their run.
Mirio already used his Quirk to dive under and moving so fast he was already at the top of the iceberg.
"Top of the world!" Mirio hollered.
Law was able to make it before the others by swimming freestyle wildly, getting tuckered out a little.
"Made it!" Law hollered.
"Aw, c'mon!" Shionne, Ochaco, Mina and Nejire hollered in unison.

The last group up was Naruto, Ichigo, Alphen, Izuku, Tenten, Uryu, Tenya, Tsuyu, Momo Yaoyorozu and Kyoka.
"Last group - on your marks…" Melissa said, with the final group already in position.
"Get set…" Melissa continued.
Melissa blew the whistle with the last group racing towards the icicle.
Tenya was already in a fabulous lead thanks to his Recipro Burst.
"You too, Ida?!" Kaminari exclaimed.
"One For All… Fulling Cowling!" Izuku thought, activating his Quirk at 8% for an increase in speed.
Naruto followed suit by using his shadow clones to throw him like a missile straight towards the iceberg where the other winners are.
Ichigo gave chase with a Flash Step, while Alphen used his own power to swim extremely hard.
Refusing to be outdone, Tenya gave chase by increasing his speed. The Acts of Hope and Tenya were racing extremely hard to reach the end.
But in that moment, the Acts of Hope all tied together with Tenya being second to them.
The entire Union cheered.
"That was awesome!" Kirishima hollered.
"They rock!" Ochaco hollered.
"Papa and my uncles are the best!" Eri hollered.
"You four swam magnificently." Tenya commented.
"Thanks, Ida-kun." Izuku said.
The entire beach were watching the whole spectacle and let's say they were all very impressed.
"These strange kids are awesome!" One male teenager commented.
"This is so going on the web!" Another male teenager hollered, recording it all on his phone.
"All those guys that were swimming were total hunks." A female teenager said.
"And those girls are very adorable." Another female teenager commented.

Now, the finalists for the 50 meter dash to declare a winner were the Acts of Hope, Sasuke, Sakura, Rukia, Renji, Law, Kisara, Bakugo, Shoto and Mirio.
"So these are our finalists for this last race. With only one winner." Tenya explained.
"Yes." Izuku said.
"That's right." Law said.
"Hey, IcyHot!" Bakugo hollered.
"Don't you dare hold back like you did at the Sports Festival." Bakugo explained.
"Fight me like your life depends on it!" Bakugo hollered.
"I will." Shoto said.
"That goes for the rest of us." Law said, mashing his left fist into his right palm.
"Try your best to keep up, clown." Sasuke said, angering Bakugo.
"Let's give this all we've got." Ichigo said.
"Yeah." Naruto, Alphen and Izuku said in unison.
"And now, the final 50m race is about to begin!" Tenya hollered, being the referee in Melissa's place.
The Union started to cheer like crazy to place their bets on who's winning.
"Blow them all away, Bakugo!" Kirishima hollered.
"You got this!" Camie hollered.
"Try and not to kill the others!" Kaminari hollered.
"Wreck shop, Renji, Law and Sasuke!" Kiba hollered.
"Hold nothing back!" Mina hollered.
"Go, Naruto-kun!" Hinata hollered.
"Win this, Kurosaki-kun!" Orihime hollered.
"You can do it, Alphen!" Shionne hollered.
"Win this, man!" Pan hollered.
"Do your best, Izuku!" Ochaco hollered.
"Go, Papa!" Eri hollered.
"You got this, Todoroki-san!" Momo Yaoyorozu hollered.
"Get'em, Sakura!" Ino hollered.
"Win this, Kisara-san and Kuchiki-san!" Kyoka hollered.
"Go, Togata-kun!" Nejire hollered.
"Fight on!" Melissa hollered.
The entire beach crowed gathered to see this as well and started taking bets themselves.
"Let's see some action!" A man in his thirties hollered.
"This is gonna be awesome!" A 10 year old boy hollered.
"All right, swimmers! On your marks…" Tenya said.
"I'll fly across all at once!" Bakugo thought, generating explosions in his hands.
"I'll slide through." Rukia and Shoto thought in unison, preparing to use their respective ice capabilities once more.
"I'll phase underground and reach the top once again." Mirio thought, preparing to use his Quirk once he runs.
"I'll speed my way through." Sasuke, Renji and Law thought in unison, willing to swim at their fastest speed(s).
"I'll give this everything I've got!" Naruto, Ichigo, Alphen, Izuku, Sakura and Kisara thought in unison, prepared to swim with all their might.
"Get set…" Tenya said.
The whistle blew as the thirteen finalists ran full throttle before using ready to use each and every one of their respective abilities.
But once they reached the beach ocean, they suddenly fell into the water.
"W-What the?!" Ino exclaimed.
"Why did they stop just 10 meters?!" Kaminari exclaimed.
"You've all had your fun." Aizawa said, just now entering the scene.
"But we need to get back to the hotel to start settling in." Aizawa continued.
"Aw, come on!" Kiba hollered.
"We were just getting to the best part, and you ruined it, Aizawa-sensei!" Kaminari hollered.
Aizawa's eyes flashed red while giving off a stern glare.
"What was that?" Aizawa asked.
"NOTHING, SIR!" The Union shouted in unison.
Though there was no winner in this race, everyone had loads of fun on the beach and even the whole community of Atlantic City were happy nonetheless.
The Union's time at Atlantic City is getting started!

Law: Man, we'll never hear the end of this.
Kiba: Well, we can try another activity later after we set things up.
Kirishima: Now that's a manly thing to do!
Law: Yeah!

Did you enjoy it? I'd say the Union had a really fun time for their first day at Atlantic City. And that swim race was inspired by the same one from the first episode of the third season of My Hero Academia: "Game Start". Sorry if I didn't get much details on everyone in their swimsuits, but I did the best I can.
