A.N: Something I wrote for the MitsuChou Week last year… again. That's why half of these one shots are MitsuChou; it's the only Naruto/Boruto week I've spotted in time to write for, so this collection of one shots gets it's part of it, too.

Also, the MitsuChou Week for this year started today, so you can eventually expect even more MitsuChou here, too. I'll try to write about someone else too every once in a while, but for now, you guys are stuck with these two.

"What's fun about watching the moon?"

"What would you rather watch then?" Chou Chou asks, snorting "Boruto?"

"Watching Boruto can be rather entertaining" Mitsuki replies, smiling "That's not a bad idea."

Chou Chou's pissed.

"Then why did you agree to come with me to watch the moon in the first place!?" she hisses "Go stare at your precious Boruto!"

"I can do that any time" the boy said "…Are you jealous, Chou Chou?"

"Wha-!?" the girl blushes "No! Don't think too highly of yourself; I'm way out of your league!"

"Your condition shows no sign of improving" he comments, looking up at the already dark sky "Why didn't you ask Shikadai and Inojin?"

"I did, but they claimed this to be too girly" she huffs "Sarada would come, but her dad's home for once and she doesn't want to miss it."

"So, I'm the last option" Mitsuki realizes, feeling a little disappointed. Not that he was all that surprised "Well, her last choice before Boruto."

"And your parents?"

"Dad's on a mission, mom's visiting Kumogakure" she said, shrugging "But if you really don't want to come, then go. It's not like I need someone with me."

Mitsuki knew she didn't. But that didn't mean she didn't want to.

"No, I'll come" he said, smiling "Maybe this'll be interesting."

"No complaining, then" she said before finally smiling "Race you to the stone faces?"

"Sure" Mitsuki said, and they took off exactly at the same time.

Mitsuki won, though only barely. Not that he had ran at full speed, but then again Chou Chou probably hadn't either.

"Bah, you beat me" the girl said, but she didn't sound like she really minded. Chou Chou took out a picnic blanket, setting it on the ground before sitting on. Rummaging through her bag again, she took out a box "I made tsukimi dumplings. Want some?"

Mitsuki didn't usually eat. He didn't need to, and he didn't care to, but right now he didn't see much of a reason to refuse. If they were meant to be part of the moon viewing experience, then why not.

"Sure" he said as he sat down next to her, taking one "Thank you Chou Chou."

She beamed.

"Have you heard the story of how the moon almost crashed down to Earth?"

He had heard Boruto mention it a time or two, but he didn't know any details.

"No" he said and listened as Chou Chou told the tale, her eyes switching between the full moon and Mitsuki, who was glad that he had tagged along. Honestly, he didn't care about watching the moon, but watching Chou Chou was as entertaining as ever. Whereas others like to watch flowers, leaves or the moon, Mitsuki preferred watching people. And while Boruto was the sun that's light guided him, Chou Chou was something else entirely, something that he couldn't put a name on, but couldn't look away from, either. He didn't want to look away.

"And I don't need to, either" he thought, taking a bite of the dumpling as he listened to the story. It seemed like this was going to be a long night, but Mitsuki didn't mind in the slightest.
