Fon sat stewing, nursing a cup of tea in his hands long after the others had gone to bed. He wasn't angry with Colonnello for not telling them, regardless of what the Rain thought. Well, maybe he was a little angry, but he could and would deal with it. No, he brooded over the thought that she didn't trust him enough to tell him her name.

He recalled those first days clearly. He had been annoyed and slightly amused when the civilian Cloud had stormed out of the mansion, his tall lanky form radiating annoyance. "Fon, go after him please. He still doesn't understand the danger of our world." Luce had pleaded, her hand resting on her belly.

He remembered following the civilian to the red lights district. He remembered going into one of the many brothels and getting accosted by some beautiful women, and how they blushed when he said he was only there for Skull. The way their eyes went wide as he apologized. The whispers of how sweet he was, and how Skull didn't realize he was in love with him, and how sad it was that the other didn't return his affection and if he ever changed his mind or wanted to be with a woman, they were more than happy to take him.

A smirk lit his lips, and he shook his head. Skull had led him on a merry chase, the first of many that day. He had truly worried about the Cloud's questionable habits for a while, until he had seen the man smirking at him from a dimly lit corner in one of the gentlemen's clubs, he had followed the Cloud into. The man wasn't paying even the slightest attention to the scantily clad women, those purple eyes filled with mischief as they watched him.

Truth be told that was perhaps the start of his obsession. Not that anyone had seemed to realize it. He had followed the Cloud for months. Sometimes he was able to put a stop to Skull's mischief and found the other rather pleasant company when he wasn't trying to be a pain. Other times he suffered through Skull's idea of chaos.

It became a game between them, Skull saying or doing something to make him lose his calm, and him trying to keep it. Following Skull to the Four Champions had been one of those times. The maƮtre d had asked him for his reservation. "I am here with him." He had said with a bow of his head.

"This is Skull-Sama's muggle stalker! He's been stalking Skull-Sama all day!" Skull had cried out, a pout on his lips and his arms crossed.

He remembered ignoring the woman trying to get him to leave as he followed Skull to a table. He could even recall putting the idiot server through the wall when they tried to get him to leave. It had been the first of many times he would have eaten with Skull in that upper class restaurant that didn't look like a place that would ever serve Skull, much less a place Skull would have ever been seen in.

If Fon was honest with himself, and he tried to be, then he would say if they hadn't been cursed a few months later he would have pursued the Cloud sooner or later. He wasn't all that bothered by gender; he was a Triad enforcer. The most feared man in Asia, he took his lovers as they came, male or female. He did have some morals and tried to stay away from civilians though.

He gazed into his cup, now the problem was he wanted but had no way of getting. Skull knew him, perhaps better than any of the others. Did he change his tactic? Being forceful had not worked in his favor and had pushed the Cloudy-Sky away. Stalking her would not work ether, he had spent months doing just that before the curse. He wasn't about to let her go, not now and not ever.

"You're thinking so hard I can hear you from over here Kora." His male Rains voice was soft as he spoke, causing him to raise his head to look at the haggard and irritated look on the man's face.

"I had thought you would be asleep." He replied instead of answering the unasked question as the man moved over to the couch a heavy sigh leaving his lips.

"Lal's mad that I wouldn't tell any of you Skull's name." He shrugged.

Fon let a low hum leave his lips as he took a sip of his now cold tea.

"While I do not like it, I do understand. We are all trying to court our Sky, and you would make a rather terrible element if you went spilling all of your Sky's secrets." Fon's voice was the barest whisper as he inclined his head seeing the tension drain from the man.

"What has you brooding here in the dark Kora?" Colonnello asked after a while.

"Skull, of course." A small smile curved his lips. "Our conversation brought back memories of before we were cursed. I had thought of pursuing him if he continued to be so interesting even then."

"What happened?"

"Luce betrayed us, and we were stuck in the form of toddlers. Skull had a way of getting under my skin, even back then."

A low chuckle left the Rain's lips as he shook his blond head. "I know Luce told you to follow her the first time, but Skull said she lost track of how many times you stalked her." His voice was calm and friendly, and Fon snorted in amusement.

"Every time she left the mansion I followed. I even watched her stunt shows. Sometimes, if Reborn was bored enough he would tag along but most often it was just me." His Rain smiled and shook his head as they sat in companionable silence. Not long after they heard a rustle and Fon was moving before he even realized it, pinning Skull to the floor, a bag of belongings was sent flying from her hands.
