The noise had the others rushing in, each looking disheveled their eyes going from a growling Fon whose own eyes were locked on the backpack. "Going somewhere Lacky?" Reborn asked, his voice sounded unconcerned but for the burning yellow of his eyes.
"If Fon would get off of me, yea. I have somewhere I need to be." She scowled from where she was sprawled on the floor. A feral animalistic snarl left the Storms lips at that pronouncement.
"It is ill advisable for us to be separated for more than a few hours Skull." Verde said, his lips pursed in displeasure as he pushed his glasses up the brim of his nose.
"Yea, well when the Moon calls one should heed it." She snapped in irritation. "I'm not going to be gone for long, a day or two maybe a week tops. We can be separated for that long and it would be a good way to test just how long we can go without being in each other's space.
"If you're not going to be gone long then why are you stealing away like a thief in the night?" Lal demanded as she grabbed the pack, keeping both Fon and Skull in sight.
"Well, I am the World's best thief." Skull smirked, her eyes glinting as she tried to maneuver herself from under the snarling enraged Storm.
"You're not lying." Reborn stated with a certainty, his eyes studying her form and she let out a smile that showed too many teeth to be considered pleasant. "Explain Lacky."
"There isn't anything to explain Sempai."
"Like hell there isn't. You're not lying about being the World's best thief, I want to know how you got that title and why we haven't ever heard of it."
The others stood quietly off to the side wondering if Reborn was humoring their Clouds claims in order to stall her or if she was being honest. "A person can only lead so many missions into and out of impenetrable fortresses before they become considered the best." Skull stated uncaringly.
"What fortresses would those be?" Viper questioned getting a dark look from the Sun.
"A bank that has never been broken into; a prison that has only been successfully broken out of once before. A few buildings that had things that belonged to me. Now if you don't mind, I am going to be late and need to be in Milan in the morning."
"What a coincidence Lacky, I have a mission in Milan as well." Reborn smirked, daring her to argue.
"Yes, there is an ingredient I need as well for an experiment." Verde nodded his head as if it had always been his plan and Skull gave them an incredulous look.
"I am not taking you with me." She snarled in annoyance.
"Then you're not leaving." Reborn answered with his arms crossed.
"Mu, I can get us there faster than your bike." Viper stated blithely. "Consider it payment for giving me information."
"I didn't agree to any of this. I am going and you are not coming."
"Even if you tried and managed to stop us, we would follow anyways. Isn't it better if you take us with you instead? While you might be able to lose one or two of us, you cannot hope to lose all of us." Fon said, his voice strained with the effort of pulling back his flames and trying to regain his calm.
"You can't follow me." She hissed at them and Reborn smirked, it was predatory in every sense of the word.
"Lacky, did you hit your head when Fon knocked you down? You seem to have forgotten just who we are. Let me point it out for you. I am the World's Greatest Hitman, The strongest Sun flame user, the Most feared man in the World. Over here is Viper, the World's strongest Mist, and the World's Best Information Broker. Besides Viper is Lal March Comsubin's best Trainor. Beside her is Colonnello, Comsubin's top soldier, they are the two strongest Rain's. Over there is Verde, the World's Best Scientist, and the strongest Lightning. On top of you, currently pinning your ass to the ground is Fon, the Triads top enforcer, the most feared man in Asian, and the World's strongest Storm. There isn't any place in the World you could go that we would not be able to follow. We're going or you're staying."
Skull opened her mouth to retort when a ping sounded through the room. "Should I grab your phone, Skull?" Fon inquired.
"You can get off of me." She snapped at him with a glare that said more than words could how badly she wanted to kick his teeth in.
"I apologize, you seem to bring out my moreā¦. primal side." He said as he stood, his hands flexed to wrap around her. It took a bit of restraint not to. He offered her a hand up which she glared at before flipping herself back onto her feet. She sneered at them before fishing out her phone from a pocket.
"Bring your Rainbow, we may need them before this is over.
