May 14th, 1945 1 Year after Sullivan's Death and Corproal Now Sergeant Roebuck took command of Sullivan's former squad, The battle for Shuri Castle.
Sergeant Roebuck looks around his squad consisting of Polonsky, Miller, and a few other Marines in silence. Roebuck has been in a bad state ever since they lost Sullivan, and Miller breaks the silence. "Sarge, thinking about Sullivan again?" Miller asks as he sits down next to his squad leader and Polonsky. As the last three men from the original squad that was in Pelieu, they have banded together living through many battles and many losses, but none so traumatic as Sergeant Sullivan being cut down with a katana right in front of them. "I'm fine Miller, Sullivan was a great man, he died protecting his country, and did a damn good job at it until the Jap stabbed him through the heart. I bet he's up there watching us now, the only way we can repay him is to keep our finger on the trigger and get some revenge."
With that, Roebuck signals for his squad to get up and get ready to march towards the Castle.
Unknown Location, Unknown time, on the Outskirts of Shuri Castle.
Summer Rose groans, her body ached and she felt her weapon, Emerald Rose, an Assault Rifle integrated into the end of a Sword, next to her. "Least Emerald Rose is here." She thought to herself, before hearing what seemed to be unusually loud dust explosions and screams. "What in Oum's name?" She thought to herself as she snuck closer to the tree line, and watches men in green uniforms fighting their fellow man using dust rifles, and men in even stranger uniforms and languages using unusual machinery on the field. This strange sight fills Summer Rose with a sense of awe, and a sense of danger in this apparent warzone.
"MILLER GET UP THERE AND BURN THE JAP BUNKER WITH THE FLAMETHROWER!" Summer hears a man yell as a young soldier, around 20 years old by her estimate, ran up to the 'Jap Bunker' and pulled the trigger on his weapon, causing flames to leap out of the end of the gun. She could smell the sickening smell of burnt flesh, and hear the screams of the burning men. "NICE WORK, MILLER ALRIGHT MARINES MOVE UP, GO,GO,GO!"
Summer watches in awe as the soldiers advanced with great determination, until a soldier got shot in the leg, as his screams filling Summer's ears, she decides to try and save the man, and rushed to the soldier, bullets zipping by her head, men screaming all around her. "STAY LOW, JAP MACHINE GUN FIRE FROM THE BUNKER!" Summer instinctively dived into cover and Stayed low, her Aura being hit several times by stray bullets.
"CORPSMAN!" Summer heard the young soldier yell, calling for help as he realizes his leg was blown right off. Summer used her Semblance to dash to the wounded soldier, "Can you walk?" The Soldier looks at her, bewildered as she pulls him into cover, where Sergeant Roebuck and his squad is taking cover. "Thank you Miss..." As corpsman took over with the treatment of the leg.
"Who the fuck are you?" Summer took cover next to what she assumed to be a Squad leader. "My Name is Summer Rose, Who are you guys?" She asks as she shifts Emerald Rose into it's Assualt Rife Configuration and fires back at the enemies firing upon their location. "HOW THE FUCK DID THAT GO FROM A SWORD INTO A GUN?!" A Marine yelled as he takes cover and fires his M1 Carbine Back towards the Japs.
"Don't know, don't care Miss, Thank you for saving one of my men." Sergeant Roebuck said as he looks over the at the Jap Machine gun positions by a fallen tree. "I have an Idea, ma'am, how fast are you?" Summer looks at Roebuck, confused. "With my Semblance I can dash in a blink of an eye, why?" Roebuck estimates about 60 feet to the fallen tree, and asks "Sembl- Fuck it, can you deal with that Jap machine gun nest pinning us down?"
Summer looks at the machine gun nest around sixty feet away, "Sure, I should be able to dash over as long as my Aura holds". As Summer gets ready to dash, Roebuck decides to question this mysterious women later, and just go with whatever the hell is going on.
"Alright marines, get ready to cover her." Roebuck looks over at Miller and Polonsky, and mouths 'Get Ready'. The two men nods and prepare to charge. "PROVIDE COVERING FIRE!" Roebuck yells, as M1 Garands, Carbines, Thompsons, and BARs open fire on the Jap machinegun nest, distracting and pinning down the Japanese, Summer takes off in rose covered petals towards the nest. This strange sight caused a few marines to stop firing in fear of friendly fire, and just stare in awe as Summer dashes over to the machinegun nest. "What The fuck did we just see?" A Marine answering the thoughts of the Few Marines who actually stopped firing Soon, the marines hear quiet automatic rifle fire from Summer Rose's weapon, and heard the screams of the Japs in the machine gun nest.
"MOVE UP! MOVE UP! GO,GO,GO!" Roebuck yelled as the squad rushed forward, finding Summer Rose engaged in melee combat with a Jap Officer. "Is she dueling a Jap officer a sword?" Sure enough, she did a backflip, switching Emerald Rose back into an assault rifle while midair. "Holy shit, she's good." Miller said as the Old Breed nodded in agreement, and joined the melee with the rest of the Jap soldiers.
In the ensuing chaos, the sound of metal clinging rang out as the squad is engaged in melee combat with the Japanese, with the occasional sound of a Trenchgun firing. During the melee, Summer wonders to herself where exactly she was, as there were no ongoing wars on Remnant other than the struggle against Salem and the Grimm.
'Then I fought Salem and died and ended up here? Where in Brother gods' names am I?'
She thought to herself as a bullet misses her by an inch, diving into cover before another shot could be fired. The shot clearly came from a sniper from a distance, forcing Roebuck and his men to get into cover. "DAMNIT! JAP SNIPER, GET SOME COVER!"
Sergeant Roebuck pokes his head out and finds the location of the sniper. "WILLIS!" Pvt. Willis stayed low and ran over to Roebuck. "See that Tree?" Roebuck points to where the Jap Sniper is positioned. "Take him out." Without a word, Willis fires off a few shots, killing the Sniper with a shot to the head. Summer is still horrified at these young men who became efficient killing machines from years of experience. "Miss, you alright?" A marine asks as he reloads his M1 Carbine.
Summer looks at him curiously, "Who are you?" The man straighten up a bit, "James Lenard Rivers, Corporal of the United States Marine Corps, 1st Marine Division, 2nd Company, 2nd Squad."
Summer held out her hand and Rivers took it, "Nice to meet you James... Your name reminds me of a certain man I know."
Rivers cocked his head off to the side. "Really? What's his name?" Summer smirked. "James Ironwood." Rivers was surprised, "Huh, same first name, I'd like to meet him at some point."
Summer smiles and nods with Corporal Rivers. "Ma'am you've made today quite interesting." She nods and watches as a strange vehicle came by them. "What's that?" She asks pointing towards the Vehicle as he looks over.
"That is a M4 Sherman medium tank, fires 75 millimeter AP, HE, canister, and smoke rounds from it's main gun. For secondary armament, it has a hull mounted 30cal, a coaxial 30cal, and a top mounted 30cal." She cocks her head off to the side Curious. "That's a tank? Never thought I'd see one here."
Rivers was surprised, but he looks towards the Sergeant for new orders, "Sarge, what's your next order?" Roebuck looked over at the young corporal, "Orders are to scout the castle, the Office of Strategic Intelligence reports that Jap and Nazi Scientists are working on a portal of some sort, secure and hold the castle."
Rivers nods and looks towards Summer Rose. "One more battle and we may all go home, Depends on how the Brass handles the Portal." Summer nods solemnly. "I never thought I'd see killing on a massive scale."
That surprises the Marines and Roebuck in general. "From where you come from? Peace rules?"
Summers nods and watches as More Marines from the 1st Marine Division prepares for the Final battle.
"The Last Battle was part of the Great War, Way before I was born, But enough about that for now We're all strangers and I shouldn't explain things until this War of yours is over." The Marines nod in agreement and soon Roebuck hears the Whistle and yells. "THAT'S THE SIGNAL! ADVANCE!"
The Men of the 1st Marine Division charges headlong into the Japanese defenses the Tanks providing Covering fire for The Marines as the Marines breached the First and Second Jap Defense line the 3rd line was bitterly contested as Summer went from one area of Craters to the next with Miller hand throwing Mortar rounds and Roebuck barking out orders to Miller and Polonsky before finally entering the Castle.
Shuri Castle Grounds, 4:00 PM.
Dr. Otto Von Lettow looks over his Portal machine with a team of Japanese and German Scientists. The Nazi High Command placed their bets on this one machine to turn the tide of the war, sending Japanese and remaining Wehrmacht soldiers who volunteered to safeguard Germany's last hope at victory. "The fate of the Fatherland depends on me... But this new world... Will it support Germania?" Otto asks himself as the Japanese Guards patrolled around the castle. The German volunteers stayed close to and his team of scientists, having been granted permission by the OKW to conduct tests on opening a bridge to another world for resources for the Third Reich to continue the war effort against the Allies.
"AMERICANS HAVE BREACHED THE PERIMETER! AMERICANS HAVE BREACHED THE PERIMETER!" The Guards sprang into action to protect the scientists, as they try to deny the allies their research.
"My life's work has been for the German people, but now Germany has surrendered it's people, leaving us only one purpose left for this project. To fight our way back through Germany is to kill more German people, and I will not let my research contribute to more German deaths." With the allies encroaching on their position, it was the perfect time for Lettow to end his research being dedicated to more German lives. grabs a nearby MP40, aims at the Nazi guards, and pulls the trigger.
"OTTO, YOU TRAITOR! THE FATHERLAND DEPENDED ON YOU!" turned to see his Brother, a Generallietuenant, aiming his personal Luger at him. "Hans, You know I don't want my research to kill more German lives." The two men Circled one another, guns pointed at each other.
Amid the chaos, Summer watched as Japanese and German Soldiers drop their weapons and surrender. "Sarge! They're surrendering!" Corporal Rivers shouted as Summer looks on at some of the guns dropped by the guards. "DOWN ON THE GROUND, DOWN ON THE MOTHER FUC-" Polonsky gets cut off as one Jap soldier grabbed him and Sergeant Roebuck. "No, you won't."
She said as she dashes using her semblance to slam into the Japanese soldier, sending him into the air. "Thanks Miss, ALL OF YOU MOTHER FUCKERS ON THE GROUND GODDAMN IT!"
Summer sighs and shakes her head, young men shouldn't be fighting in a war like this... She thought as she watches the General being disarmed and taken into prisoner.
The Room was silent as Summer backs up and the Marines aimed their guns at Summer. straightens his glasses, "She's what I believe to be a Huntress, who hunts nightmarish creatures called the "Grimm", am I correct Miss?"
Corporal Rivers spoke up, " , is it true?" She sighed as she looks at the young men around her.
"My people are at Risk, we're fighting a war against the Grimm, unknown to our people. Our population is quite low, and yet we're slowly dying off. I left my husband, my daughter, and my step-daughter without even saying Good-bye... I DIED defending the world against the unrelenting Grimm!" She shouted as the ramifications of this new world slammed into the young marines. The room once again descended into silence as looks towards his NCO and uttered words he'd never dared utter.
"Fuck this Sarge, we should help her world. If it's all true, Remnant will need all the help it can get." Roebuck looks around as the marines nodded in agreement.
"Let us Help you as well." General Hans Von Lettow said as he stands up and looks at his men.
"PICK UP YOUR WEAPONS! THE THRID REICH IS NO MORE, WE MUST SECURE TERRITORY FOR ALL OFMANKIND! GOTT MIT UNS!" The Germans quickly grabbed their weapons and stood at attention, saluting their Allied counterparts as WW2 was drawing to a bloody close...
3 Months later, the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki received Atomic blasts delivered by American bombers, drawing the war to a close, only for the Allies to direct resources towards Okinawa and the rebuilding of world. It is now time for the Allied nations to join the people of Remnant in their struggle, soldiers from the various allied nations volunteers for an expeditionary force to help Remnant, and Summer getting an assurance of Support from Churchill, Stalin, and Roosevelt.

Yes, The Germans here were theorized to have units in the Pacific If the Nazis and Japs were working Closely, Now Next Chapter we'll see Sullivan in Pre-Season one Saving Amber from Cinder only the way he does it will be different from the other Fics out there!
