Chapter 4: Training and Growing with Master

So when I woke up my Fairytail friends were with me still. They said, "Starlight are you doing alright?"

I said, "Yes why?"

They said, "You were out like a light after we party."

I said, "That normal for me."

They said, "oh OK, that good."

I said, "Yes it is."

The Wizards left me. I made me some breakfast I had french toast, eggs, and bacon for a drink I had a mimosa. Then I heard a knock at my door and I said, "Come in."

Person said, "Thank you Starlight that very sweet of you."

When I heard that voice I knew who it was. It was Salazar. I said, "What do you want Salazar?"

He said, "I want to have breakfast with you."

I said, "No get out of here."

He said, "Starlight you let me in, you need to let me eat."

I said, "No...but then a whisper said, "He needs you so let him eat." I said, "OK Salazar, come eat."

He said, "That my sweet Starlight. Now feed me."

I obeyed him. Started feeding him the breakfast I made. Then he said, "Starlight let me feed you too."

I said, "Yes Salazar feed me please.

Salazar said, "Yes that my beautiful Starlight, he feeds me and went through my hair and it relaxed me till I was in the back of my chair. Starlight you are very beautiful I know you like Gray but later down the line you will love me."

I said, "Yes Salazar I like Gray a lot but I will never fall in love with you because you controlled my mind it not nice, and then I blasted him with water ball.''

He said telepathy and said, "You will giggle."

I said, "Not in a million years."

He said, "OK fine but let me warn you we will be battling each other."

I said, "I know, I call upon the wind for a tornado to blow this person away from my mind, never think of him."

Salazar said, "You will think of me."

I said, "No. I will not and I released him and said, "Goodbye Salazar."

After that I fell to the ground. Natsu and Gray came to the rescue. I passed out again. All I felt was both wizards pick me up and took me to the infirmary.

I woke up I saw Gray, Natsu, Lucy, Loki, and master. I said, "What happen to me?"

They all said, "You passed out after you fought Salazar, and Loki needs to do something because there is something off about you."

I said, "What you mean friends?"

They said, "You are being very distant from us since the first day."

I said, "Really?"

They nodded their heads. They said, "Starlight please relax and let Loki take a look of what going on."

I said, "OK, as a tear started to drop and I close my eyes and relax as Loki did his work."

Loki used his healing powers to see what was going on I felt very at peace. Then the vision started as Loki held my hand."

Loki said, "Starlight you were controlled by Salazar from the first day."

I nodded in agreement with Loki. He said, "I am gonna help you get back when we first met you."

I said, "Loki, I would love that as I cried and I am sorry I didn't tell you."

Wizards and Master said, "It OK, we will help you get through this."

I said, "Yes my friends, you will."

They agreed with me. They said, "Loki do it."

Loki said, "I am going to but I need your help to keep a strong memory in her head because she loves you all very much and she went through a lot in three days. I want her to remember all of us."

They said, "Loki we will and we all need to tell her something."

Loki nodded and said, "Please do and Starlight I need you to fall in sleep because you are drained at moment."

I said, "OK Loki and I said, "Sleep." I slept but I could still feel people around me."

Gray started. He said, "Starlight when I met you, you impressed me and said in a whisper, "I do love you, do not forget it."

Natsu said, "Starlight you impressed me to when you blocked Juvia attacks it was so cool."

Lucy said, "Sweet Starlight you shine so bright, you are strong have more confidence in yourself. I love who you are when we packed together."

Master said, "Strong Starlight, I believe in you so much I cannot wait to train you."

Last one was Loki. He said, "Strong, and beautiful Starlight you made me laugh and here the wish you wanted, and Loki kissed my forehead and whisper the words, "Be at peace and remember what you heard and never forget them ever."

After that I fell asleep. I could feel my body, and it filled with love and warmth. Then all of them left. To give me time to heal.

Slept for four hours and everyone came back to see me. I woke up and hug them all and said, "Thank you friends and Loki. I feel like me again."

They said, "That great and master is here."

I said, "OK, thank you." They nodded.

Master said, "Starlight your training starts soon, so go to your apartment and change then come back here at 9:30 am I will be waiting for you at the Guild Hall." I said, "Yes Master will do. Thank you."

Master said, "Good Starlight. You are welcome."

Then I left the infirmary. I went to my apartment got ready for first day of training. I saw a letter from my friends and it said, "Starlight you can do this, Master he is going to be hard on you, but believe in yourself. Build up your confidence and grow each day with master and us." Love your friends.

As I read it. I felt so happy and at peace and something whisper you are strong, you can be a powerful wizard. Trust and believe in yourself, they all love you. It made me more ready to practice.

The time was now 9:20 am. I had to get to the Guild Hall for training. So I got there right on time. Master was there waiting for me.

Master said, "Starlight let's start your training. I need you to focus and feel the magic in you."

I said, "OK Master. " I feel it overwhelmingly strong." I heard something at me and I open my eyes I used earthquake to destroy the disc.

Master said, "That was great Starlight."

I said, "Thank you Master."

He said, "You are also said, "Follow me, I am going to take you to the target field."

I said, "OK, master."

He smiled and said, "Here we are and I need you to use all your elements you have to make balls, and arrows and a bow to get the targets."

I said, "I will do my best, I can do and do it."

Master said, "That right." Master left so I could consecrate . But didn't know all my friends were watching.

So I said, "Fire make balls, wind make arrows and bow, water make water balls, and Earth make arrows and bow." I said, "I call first the fire balls."

The fire balls came in front of me. Targets are moving Starlight focus. Watch the moving targets. I let one fire ball and I got the target clean. Watch all the targets and hit each one. Master came out and said, "Great job."

I said, "Thank you Master."

Master said, "I need change the field for your wind arrows and bow because I do not want the Guild Hall to get harmed."

I said, "I understand Master."

Then Master said, "Field change to a wind room." It did it. I was amazed. It was my turn to walk in the wind room.

I step in the wind room. I said, "Wind calm help me focus on getting the wind arrows and bow." The wind did it, and I was amazed it listen to me.I call upon my bow

and arrows of the wind."

Arrows and bow came and I put on my wind gloves. Targets started to move and I grab my bows and arrows shot the first one on target. Then the next few I did it. Then

few floating I shot one and I missed. Then wind help me get on. Then I wa s done and I was tired.

Master came in the wind room. Starlight you did alright better next time.

I said, "Yes I know Master."

He said, "Starlight you are growing, and it is lunch time, so break time."

I said,"OK, master thank you."

He said, "You are welcome. Eat up and we will finish your training."

I said, "OK, master you got it."

Master said, "OK, that great."

So I went to lunch. My friends waved hi to me and whisper, "Come sit with us."

I mouth and said, "OK, I will. Let me get my food first." They nodded.

For lunch we had chicken quesadilla, apples, and yogurt. You can chose soda, vitamin water, or water. I got me a vitamin water. Then I went over to the friends and smiled."

I said, "Friends thank you for the letter this morning, it encouraged me a lot."

Lucy, Natsu, Gray, Juvia, and Erza said, "You are welcome. We thought it might help you."

I said, "It did so much. I love you guys."

They said, "We love you to. Now eat before you run out of time."

I nodded and agreed with them. So I ate the food it was so good. It was an hour lunch.

Master said, "Starlight it is time for second training."

I said, "Coming Master."

Master nodded and said, "Good."

So I went outside to the target field again. To finish up the training. He gave me room to help me focus. So I said, "Water make balls, and earth make bow and

arrows."

The room started to shake and new targets came up. I threw water ball at fast speed and got every target.I heard the Master clap. It build up more

confidence.

Master said. "Change the field, and it turned to a lush forest trees as the targets." So it turned.

Then it was time for me to do the last training of the day. So I put on my earth gloves and said, "Earth make bow and arrows and come to my hands. It

did.

Master said, "I am timing you for twenty minutes."

I said, "OK master, that sounds great."

Master said, "OK Starlight three, two, one, and zero start shooting the targets."

I obeyed but each target change shape. Starlight focus you can do this your friends are cheering you on. It focus me quickly. After the twenty minutes

was over. I shot eighty-nine percent of the I sat down.

Master said, "Good job today."

I said, "Thank you Master."

Master said, "You are welcome. Master also said,"If you keep doing your best at each practice you will get stronger and not run out of energy quickly."

I nodded and agreed with him. I said, "Can my friends take me to my apartment?"

Master said, "Yes of course."

I said, "Thank you."

Master called in all my friends. He said, "Take your friend home, she exhausted."

My friends nodded and they took me back to my apartment. We had great conversions."

They said, "We need to get you some furniture and groceries when you are not training."

I said, "I agree with you all, would you like to help me?"

They said, "We would love too."

I said, "OK it date this weekend."

They agreed and smiled big at me. They said,"Starlight get some rest you need it."

I agree with them. But first I wrote in my diary about the day and took a shower. Then I ate a chicken Caesar salad with a lemonade. Then my

friends left.

I fell asleep after they left. I was asleep in ten minutes. I went to peaceful place and sunned my body. I slept till the next morning

till 9:00 am.

Next training with master. I continue to get better and better. I was gaining confidence each day. Then Master said, "Starlight on Friday

you have a challenging task.

I said, "Oh "really?"

Master nodded. You will be using all your elements to grow flowers and battle one of your friends.

I said, "I cannot do that yet."

Master said, "Starlight you are ready, have confidence in yourself and believe in yourself."

I said, "OK I believe you Master."

Master said, "Good Starlight."

I went home by myself. When I got to my apartment I balled my eyes out. I said, "I cannot fight my friends."

Voice said, "Starlight please believe in yourself, you are strong do not underestimate yourself."

Turn around and saw it was Lucy. I said, "Lucy what are you doing here, I have to battle on of you tomorrow."

Lucy said, "I am here because I know you were lying to master."

I said, "How did you know that Lucy."

Lucy said, "I could tell by your body and you doubt yourself to much."

I said, "Oh wow Lucy." Lucy nodded

Lucy said, "You need to believe in yourself."

I said, "I know. It hard for me."

Lucy understood and said, "Let you in with a secret."

I said, "OK Lucy, tell me the secret."

Lucy said,"All of us watched you train from afar because Master wanted to show us how powerful you are becoming."

I said, "That just great how everyone knows my moves. If I fight them they will know." I ran from my apartment to a lake and screamed."

Lucy said, "Come back, not everyone knows." But Lucy knew it was to late Starlight was gone.

I kept screaming at the lake. All of sudden I heard a voice, "Hi sweet Starlight, are you doing OK?"

I said, "Salazar leave me alone." I had enough of you. I used sand and water to make arrows and bow, shot him and he laid on the ground ."

Salazar said, "Starlight how did you get so strong in almost month?"

I said, "Training with Makarov." But all my elements made a cage for him to stay put." I said,"Salazar what do you want with me?"

Salazar said,"I am not really a Fairytail Wizard. I am a wizard that control things."

I said, "So what you haven't left me alone it like you, like me or something."

Salazar said, "Maybe I do, but I know I cannot have you to myself."

I strengthen the cage with more elements of nature. I said, "Then leave me alone for good because Gray is the only person I like."

Salazar said, "I know that for a fact but I will keep trying to get you from him."

I said, "It not gonna happen, so let me go and never come back here ever again."

Salazar said, "I cannot do that you are my weakness."

I said, "I do not care, wind make a tornado and sand far away from here, so he never can come back. " Wind obeyed me. He was gone. It was

first time I didn't pass out on my work. So then I did a late night practice and went home to sleep.

It was Friday. I had to use my elements to make flowers and fight a friend. I know I can do it. Master Makarov walk in the Guild Hall and asked

for me. I went to the master.

Master said, "Are you ready for this?"

I said, "Master yes I am."

Master said, "Good you will do the flowers first and then fight one of your friends."

I said, "I understand Master."

Master said, "Good." He sent me to the greenhouse that need help. I took a deep breath and walked in.

I said to myself, "I can do this for myself and my friends. I said, "Elements I need your help to grow these flowers." Elements obeyed me.

I said, "Water make rain, earth make holes, wind help me put the flowers in the holes and fire make sun to let them grow." Then I patted and covered the

holes carefully. Then I was done doing the flowers." I said, "Elements we are done."

Master came in and said,"Starlight that was incredible, awesome job strong Starlight."

I said, "Thank you very much, couldn't do it without you and my friends."

Master said, "You are welcome. Now it time to eat lunch and you will be fighting Natsu for your challenge."

I said, "OK thank you for telling me." I went to get lunch because I was starving. Lunch was a chicken Caesar wrap, with Onion rings, and applesauce.

My friends saw me and waved me to come over. I did. The friends were happy to see me.

They said, "You are fighting Natsu for your challenge right?" I nodded at them as I ate. They said, "You will do great."

I said, "I know will because I have all of you including Natsu."

They agreed with me and smiled big. Lucy whisper, "Starlight you will do great and love seeing you happy and not stressed."

I acknowledge and whisper, "Me too Lucy." Then I left because lunch was over for me. It was time to battle Natsu. Even though he is my friend

I will not go easy on him.

Master said, "Starlight,Natsu is ready to fight you."

I said, "OK Master, thank you." Now Starlight stay calm and focus. You can do it believe in yourself. attack

Now I am in a field that enclosed . I close my eyes and listen for Natsu. I heard him. I said, "Wind make shield." Blocked Natsu attack. I open my

eyes I saw him and smiled.

Natsu said, "Starlight that was impressive, I am so glad I get battle you." Natsu did another attack but I blocked it.

I said, "Natsu you are quite impressive too. I am glad to have this battle with you."

Natsu said, "Thank you Starlight." Let's get going on the battle."

I agree with Natsu. I turn the field to lush forest now lets go.

Natsu agreed. We fought our hardest but Natsu won that battle. Then I walked and runned away from my friends. I said, "I sucked so much, how can I ever

be good here? I practiced so hard and nothing."

The friends ran after me. But couldn't find me. They said, "Where did Starlight go?" Friends were worried. Gray said, "Let me figure something

out. " They agreed with Gray.

Gray said in a whisper, "Starlight where are you, your friends are worried." Gray listen to me practing my magic. Gray said, "She in the woods

by a fire." They were relieved accept for Juvia.

Juvia said, "Go get her. I am going to my place I am tired." They nodded at her go. So it was just Gray, Natsu, Erza, and Lucy.

I heard them come and I said, "Go away, I am not worth being your friend ever. I suck." You should find another wizard, I am not worth it."

They replied, "Yes you are worth it, we love you for who you are. Nothing more, it not about magic or battles. It enjoying life and

friends."

I said, "But I couldn't even beat Natsu."

They whisper, "We love you for who you are."

I said, "I know that, but I worth being with the wizard stronger then me. Who is suppose to be strong too."

They said, "Starlight stop saying things like that you will not build confidence if you put yourself down."

I said, "I am slowly working on that friends I am so sorry."

They said, "We understand, it will take time to get use to encouraging friends."

I said, "Thank you for understanding, and yet it will but I am glad you you are the friends. I share it with."

They agreed with me. I smiled big and gave me a group hug. I smiled and enjoyed the group hug."

Master came and said, "Starlight you did an awesome job with Natsu and the battle."

I said,"Thank you master."

Master said,"You are welcome and we are going to have a dance party, and all of you have to ask for a date."

They said, "A dance to just enjoy time in Fairytail?"

Master nodded and said, "It starts at 7:00 pm on Saturday."

They said, "You mean as in tomorrow night?"

Master nodded and then he left.

Then I said, "I am not going I am gonna practice on my attacks."

Friends said, "You have to come it will be fun."

I said, "I know but I am not good at dances of groups of people."

Friends said, "Come on Starlight, let go please for us."

I said,"I will for you guys."

They said, "OK good."
