Chapter 2: Dragons sacred gear
All of a sudden I was back in Issei's body, I looked to my left hand and found my sacred gear.
It was just like the anime except It was in twice critical state meaning I couldn't use [explosion!] witch sucked, but I wouldn't need it at the moment.
It would be enough, the leader of the gang got up and charged at me with the knife.
[boost!]
Now it wasn't even fair, I karate chopped him in the neck and he fell unconscious easy win.
I put them all in a pile and decided I would test my limits with the sacred gear in the mountains, for now, I would just put it away.
'Wait, how do I put the gear away, eh
"Sacred gear return!" It actually worked, 'neat'
I continued with my jog.
- mountains -
I had sent a message to my parents that I was going to be out for a while, in the woods. As I scaled up the mountain it was very peaceful, I looked for a wide-open area and decided I would train there or by a lake.
I needed a good spot.
- 10 minutes later -
I found a good spot, it was pretty open and a lake was a couple of miles down, I had a canteen with me so I would use that for refills.
"Ok, a perfect spot now time for some heavy-duty training!" I unleashed my sacred gear it was only twice critical but it would still work fine.
'ok I have to estimate my base strength level, I would probably be human+ not as much as what it could be, I want to be about boulder level by the time of the second year of high school, where the series begins' that wasn't going to be easy.
[boost!], while busy in my train of thought I realized I still had my sacred gear out that gave me an idea on where to begin "I'll start by seeing how far I can boost myself, then see how strong and fast I am then, Boost increases all your physical stats so the same will go for speed, but it drains stamina so that's what I'll work on, for now, let's try and work on that makeshift style"
I tried to hold my stance during boosting, If I can't even hold my stance during boost 5 or 6 what would be the point in using it.
after 30 seconds of training, I came to this conclusion
Boosting drains you faster and harder than it appears in the anime, or that's probably because Issei was a devil and they have pretty high stamina
I can only boost 3 times and still be able to fight with difficulty, it's still hard but my training has made my body able to take the pain and continue on
in my 3rd boost, I can punch through thick trees without too much difficulty, still takes me 3-4 hits to break through to the other side, and I can put dents in boulders.
'not bad, I'm stronger than I thought, I should stay at boost 3 wait can I stop the boost? let's try it!' I re-summoned my sacred gear.
[boost!]
... 'this thing takes forever...'
[boost!]
... 'this is gonna be a pain to wait for when I become stronger, I'm gonna have to come up with stall tactics if I want to survive the wait'
[boost!] "Ok stop, stop, stop?"

...
...
... 'It's been 12 seconds, yes! it worked!'
I continued to train in boost 3, getting used to the strain, now that I think about it this is what Goku must have felt like I dragon ball Z getting used to Kaioken, maybe I'll get as strong as Goku one day.
Probably not...
- 1 hour later -
*Ring* *Ring* it was mom
"Issei dear, come home for dinner now, I cooked something extra special!"
"Thanks, mom, be there soon! bye"
"Bye"
Mom seemed happier than Usual, wonder what the occasion was?
With the boost in speed from the sacred gear I ran home extremely fast, well for my standards at least, I decided to go up to boost 4
"Continue Boost!" I said to the boosted gear
[Boost!]
"stop boost!" Holy crap, my speed was insane for me at least, I felt like a ninja from Naruto, jumping from tree to tree, except I can't run on water.
After running down the mountain which only took about 7 minutes, it only took 3 minutes to run home, everyone was eating dinner at this time so no one saw the sacred gear.

I dismissed the sacred gear outside of my house, then walked inside. I saw a man who I had never seen before, well in Issei's memories it seemed.
mom and dad noticed me standing at the door.
"And there's the man of the hour!" Mom smiled, she seemed so proud, mom and dad looked at me with smiles.
"ehh what Have I done?" Hopefully nothing wrong, Idiot why would I have done something wrong if they're happy!
The real question is what did I do right?
"Issei remember that girl you saved," Mom pointed over to the couch, behind the man was a female with black hair, she was the girl I saved!
"O-Oh yeah, your ok right?" I asked politely, she was actually pretty cute, and kind of familiar...
"Yes thanks to you Issei, my name is Yuma" Holy shit she's gonna kill me, in a couple of years, best play it off.
"Cute name, I heard Yuma means setting sun? if I'm not mistaken?" I tried to make small talk and that was all I could think of, 'I better not buy into the whole thing, but If I wait then who knows, she is a ticket to meeting with Rias, WAIT RIAS SHIT I NEED TO GET INTO THE PEERAGE I FUCKED UP' While I was trying to make small talk and ate dinner with "Yuma" and her father, who on further inspection was actually a fallen angel I tried to think of how I could still survive.
after the whole Dinner and Yuma went home I headed upstairs to think of a strategy, I also made a mental note of updating my training, I would go up to the mountains for training on Sunday for boosted gear, and every month or two I would boost up to my maximum to see where I am at and if I should go higher.
I am only human so I won't progress as fast as a devil, but I can still reach high levels of strength.
At first, my goal was to be able to unlock sacred gear by the time of high school, now I want to be able to talk with Ddraig, well that's gonna go to shit cause I am actually starting High school this year now, well I just have to up my training.
- Time skip, First day at Kuoh academy -
Nothing much happened over the past month's the major parts of it is "Yuma" has been stopping by often, I had a couple of close calls with her sneaking up on me, not only that but at some points, I could tell I was falling under her spell, what can I say I still have a perverted side and Issei's perverted side wasn't helping either.
I was busy doing what Issei, and now I, always done (but I couldn't in my old life) PEEPING the girls in THIS universe, do I even need to explain?
THOSE BOOBS ARE HUGE, you can never see a girl with THIS perfect body in my old world, but here it's commonplace, I met another two men of culture, Matsuda, and Motohama. Issei's two friends in the show.

and Matsuda was a former Jock surprisingly, after introducing ourselves we hit it off easily.
After a while things were going off easily, the perverted trio was formed and my progress with the school was good, I stuck in and learned a decent amount, what I am a school student now, plus the age gap between me and Issei was a little further than I would like to be, so I had to study hard as well as keep up the workout routine.
I tended to sleep in a silent place during break, it was English next and even though I was transported to Japan I knew Japanese from Issei's memories and English from mine. 'So it was fine if I arrived late, I am exhausted having years worth... of... catching... up...' I fell asleep on the grass outside of the old school building, I had a nice normal nap, which took me to 20 minutes into English.
"Hey, Hello? you should get up silly it's nice but you really should be in class" I open my eyes to see, RIAS GREMORY.
"U-UH S-Sorry, I didn't mean to sleep I only wanted to take a nap"
"Hey, hey calm down, it's fine, what do you have now?"
"English, but I can speak the language as if I live there" I bosted a little, but I indeed used to live up in Scotland, until I died, better water and colder climate but beautiful scenery and mountains.
Rias gave me a smirk and grinned "Oh really? let's put that to the test then" Rias challenged me, I accepted.
I and Rias talked for 10 minutes it was pleasant since English was as easy as Japanese is to me now, I made jokes and made Riad laugh, the anime and manga don't do her smile justice
"Wow, you talk like you've lived there you're whole life, and you're funny too, the rumors about you and the 'perverted trio', your actually not as bad as I thought, your kind and sweet, or is that how you seduce girls?" Rias joked.
"Hmm, depends, is it working?" I laughed it off and Rias did the same.
I and Rias talked some more until. "Rias, we need you for a second, oh who is this cute boy your talking to? fu fu fu" I turned around and Akeno was there, HOLY SHIT THEY ARE HUGE, I was having a nose bleed right there, it took the last of my strength to talk to Rias without bursting out into a nose bleed but with Akeno's surprising appearance I couldn't stop myself.
"Oh, Issei are you ok let's get him to the nurse's office, c'mon Akeno" Rias picked me up and my face hit her boob, then more blood started gushing out.
Akeno came up and wiped the blood of me with a cloth, then Rias's boob's, EVEN MORE BLOOD, "Fu fu fu, either he is having one hell of a nose bleed or he's just that perverted, fu fu fu"
"Honestly I wish I had the answer to that myself Akeno"
- Nurse's office -
Rias and Akeno laid me down on the bed.
"Rias, let's get you cleaned up in the ORC, you can tell me all about this cute boy while we're there, Fu fu fu" Akeno teased, Rias took the bait.
Rias had a blush on her face "F-Fine, and he isn't my Boyfriend" Rias pointed at Akeno.
"I never suggested 'Boyfriend' but if you want, I can change that" Akeno teased, even more, she stuck her tongue out.
Rias had lost this one, Akeno was going to tease her about this for a while, the thought of Issei being her boyfriend wasn't a bad thought though, especially with this new revelation.
- ORC (Occult research club) -
"Akeno, that boy Issei, he has a sacred gear, I'm 100% sure of it, not only that but his physique is almost flawless, it's toned and trained, not only that but his sacred gear, this might be a 60-70% chance though, he could be the red dragon emperor just a thought. possible very likely actually." Rias was sure Akeno was surprised but on further thought, she did sense something of great power within him.
not only that but most of his training in his human form would greatly increase his base power in devil form.
"I say we test him, let's wait and see him grow if he becomes strong and we get concrete evidence of his sacred gear then we can recruit him, if not play it by year, if he dies we'll take him in, he seems strong and hard-working, even if he only takes up 1 pawn space he could still be a valuable asset" Akeno made a good point on that one, Rias agreed and they decided to go that route.
- the next day -
It was a normal day in P.E except we had a competition, an arm-wrestling competition. I, of course, made it to the final's, against Kiba, well this should be tricky, all the guys were routing for me and the girls Kiba, Akeno and Rias were watching from afar, as well as Sona and her queen.
"I cant wait to see what the 'red dragon' can do against your knight Kiba, Rias just know I might want him on my peerage, but since we're childhood friends I'll let you have first go," Sona told Rias
"I must say, Issei is the wild card, I'm not sure about that one... seeing him grow will be interesting," Rias remarked she was interested in the new red dragon emperor.
"Good luck, Issei Huyodou" Kiba gave me good luck, I am a man of respect and honor before most things.
"good luck to you too, and please Issei is fine" I sat down and grabbed his arm, I had to act strong and fast.
"3... 2... 1... GO!"
I used all of my strength on the first part, Kiba let his guard down, his arm was halfway there before he caught himself, I used all my might, I could see he was struggling, all the boys were cheering me on, eventually Kiba brought it to the middle, I can't go down yet.
My willpower was the only thing keeping me in the middle, it was a battle between my will and his strength. We stayed in the middle for about 5 minutes, Kiba put on a strained face, my arm couldn't hold out any longer and
*smack*
I lost, I got congratulated by Kiba who walked off with Rias and Akeno, the boys congratulated me as well, it was intense.
"Kiba, how was he?" Rias asked, he held out long and Kiba was rubbing his arm.
"Not too bad, nowhere near Koneko level's of strength, but he could get that powerful if he were to become a devil, along with some training, he definitely has a sacred gear no doubts and its the welsh dragon no less, its spirit is there for sure, If we give him 3 years he could probably communicate, or if we make him a devil now he could talk with him in about a month... " Kiba proceeded to give Rias a power analysis of Issei.
- Time skip, 1 month before summer break, Sunday, mountains -
It was a regular Sunday at this point, I tried out my new max power with the Sacred Gear, I punched a boulder and it destroyed half of it.
"AMAZING, HAHAHA, THIS POWER IS GREAT!" I laughed to myself.
"I-Issei, what was that?" THAT'S YUMAS VOICE, oh dear.
"Y-Yuma" 'fuck why didn't I learn to sense shit!' "H-How are you on this lovely sunny-Sunday" 'making bad puns can save me right?'
"ISSEI YOU DESTROYED A BOLDER" she yelled like she couldn't do the same, "And what's that on your arm?" she grabbed my arm and looked at the gauntlet, it was still twice critical but it was gonna be a long way to initial gear if I remained human that is.
"Y-Yuma you do know what a gauntlet is right?"
"Yes"
"This is a gauntlet, just red"
"Tell me Issei, how did you get this? how can you break boulders?"
So I told her that I suddenly got this sacred gear and I have been training to use it properly, I never told her all I knew, just enough so she would be satisfied.
"Well, let's head home to my place, my parents and I (false, on my part) love you coming over for dinner!" I said, trying to seem like I want to get close to her.
"H-Hey" she put on a shy, cute, and awkward tone. Crap know where this is going, kinda, something like a sleep-over, or is she gonna be like 'will you be my boyfriend' god please be the first one.
"C-Can I stay in your place tonight?" she looked too cute (but I ain't under her spell, best off playing along)
"I would say yes, but it is really up to my parents, I'm sure they'll be fine with it though" Yuma had hope, but evil behind that mask, bet she was thinking I am under her spell now, she's wrong, I ain't no simp!
We headed home and, obviously, my parents agreed. Then she asked me the most unexpected question.
"C-Can I sleep with you tonight?" HOLD UP! I need to carefully think this one through first, there's a 90% chance it could lead to sex, as long as I don't completely lose track, I'm ok.
If I refuse, it's gonna look suspicious, best off to accept.
"It's fine with me, go right ahead," I said, confident.

and with that, we had a nice warm night, too bad It didn't work out for her, making me "fall under her spell"
