Chapter 3: Devils, angles, and fallen angles
After the night had passed by Yuma and I decided to become boyfriend and girlfriend, that morning we opened up our relationship to mom and dad, they were ecstatic.
"Finally Issei's got a partner, and a good-looking one at that!" Mom jumped for joy, holding on to Dad's arm, who was also jumping for joy.
"I thought he would NEVER get a girlfriend, but our Issei changed from being a massive pervert to a respectable man, just like his father!" Dad cried happily.
Yuma knew that I still was a pervert, from all the touching I was doing in bed and how we woke up in the morning, me touching her breast's and all, she was fine with me being a pervert as long as it's with her at least, 'probably all part of the act, maybe?' what if she wasn't acting at this point? I could never know for sure.
'Best wait until that date comes, I already have a counter-strategy if she tries to kill me now, I may only be at twice critical but it still should work' I had been thinking about strategies on rating games and normal brawls, Issei never had the brains for planing stuff out, but I do!
"Ok mom, dad that's enough, your embarrassing Yuma, if you really want me to have a girlfriend and a wife then you need to stop doing this" I was starting to get embarrassed, "How about I walk you home Yuma? your dad is probably worried sick about you?" I asked, she nodded and took my hand.
"Bye, mom, dad" "Thanks for having me Issei's parents"
with that I walked Yuma home, we had a normal talk, I made sure our dates never went past sunset since that's the time she wanted to kill me at.
- a month later -
summer break was here, me, Matsuda, and Motohama had all arranged to go to the beach, I went with Yuma witch pissed them off, a lot, and they went to hit on other girls.
Motohama brought a girl back first and had a big smile on his face "Heh, look Issei, I told you I can get a good girlfriend, meet Rico" Motohama introduced the girl, I looked at her and, she wasn't bad looking, but not as pretty as Yuma, her measurements were not bad either.
although when we were talking I noticed she looked at my abs, a lot, after a while she completely forgot about Motohama and tried to hit on me, probably because of the abs, eventually Yuma got a little "tired" and lay down on my chest, saying "He's mine!" in body language.
Matsuda came back with a girl he picked up, she was flat, but cute and had nice hair, she was also pretty short, I went to talk to him about it.
"Dude, she looks like she's in her first year of junior high?" I said it seemed pretty suspicious.
"Well, dude that because she is, you know I have a loli fetish" Matsuda looked at me, Oh yeah he does.
"as long as it's not a feet fetish," I said joking around, no response
"... as long as you don't have a feet fetish... right?" Matsuda gave me a blank stare, "GOD DAMNIT MATSUDA"
eventually, the junior high school student was crushing over all of us, I didn't really let that bother me, I talked with her made some jokes, mostly making Yuma laugh, but also the boy's, and then I decided.
"How about we all go in the ocean, for a swim, it's getting hot out here, Yuma jumped up and her boobs bounced in her black bikini, kind of reminded me of the outfit she wore as a fallen angel, but less revealing.
"Yeah, a swim sounds like fun, oh Issei" she put on the most cutest face "If there are any sharks, promise me you will protect me?" she said, looking scared.
"I will try but don't blame me if I swim away in fear" the look of shock crossed her face "Nah, I will swim away with you in my arms, I ain't gonna fight a shark but I won't leave you to die" it made her feel and look better, as well as get a laugh out of her. She snuggled up closer to me.
We splashed water on each other, her wet body was a sight to behold, I had a nose bleed right there and then I had to upper-cut Matsuda and Motohama to keep them from drooling over my girl.
After a nice swim Yuma, Rico, and the loli girl went to go get us some ice cream and talk with some friends, I didn't know she had thought of a backstory that well makes it even more believable, Matsuda and Motohama thought it would be good to go and spy on some girls I joined in.
Eventually, I hit the jackpot, RIAS, AKENO AND, KONEKO, Kiba was also there but he was just reading a book, I called over Matsuda and Motohama.
Rias had a red swimsuit, Koneko's was the normal school attire, and Akeno's was purple.
It was a beautiful sight, if only we could hear their conversation.
- Rias, Akeno, Koneko, and Kiba -
"fu fu fu, don't look Rias but Issei and his friends are checking us out, fu fu fu" Akeno giggled, Konkeko tightened her fist's.
"can I knock them out? please. they're getting on my nerves if they are checking me out... are they" Rias and Akeno could tell Koneko was insecure about her body, part of her wanted to be noticed, the other would rather not feel like she's being checked out.
"They are checking you out but they're mostly looking at us, I hear them saying you have a cute body" Rias always knew what to say to cheer Koneko up about her insecurities.
"Good enough." Koneko went back to relaxing.
"President, Issei Hyoudou has a girlfriend now, did you know?" Kiba told Rias, she was shocked and saddened, "W-Why should I care about such trivial matters, it isn't like I like him or anything" Rias defended herself.
"oh, I think we both know that's a lie" Akeno teased, Akeno could tell Rias liked Issei from a mile away. Speaking of a mile away, he was standing exactly 1/2 a mile away. they brought binoculars.
- Issei -
"Hey, I get this strange sense they know we're here," I said, since they're devils it's likely.
"No way! if Akeno and Rias found out we were doing this they would leave, also who's that little girl standing beside them?" Motohama asked
That's right, Koneko was a first-year at the start of the series, so they won't know about her.
"We shouldn't keep Yuma and the others waiting, lets go!" I said, 'I just have to prepare for the date with Yuma, until then I'll just have to wait and stall, find reasons to keep me alive, she seemed to like the "bedtime training" so we'll continue with that
With that I trained like hell over summer break, got some useful skill's I might need later, my max Boost is 7X, I managed to hold a conversation with Ddraig, in fact, let me remember how it went...
- dreamworld (flashback) -
It was the same dream, except my Boosted gear was out, and it seemed like it could evolve at any moment, must be my intense training, Ddriag seems to be hearable now, I can see a dragon, pretty far in the distance but a red dragon, it's a little misty, but clear.

"What do you mean stored power?" best to learn more about the gear before using it, gather up all the info I can.
[good question, every time you BOOST power gets stored in the sacred gear when in initial state this stored power releases all at once when you use EXPLOSION giving you massive amounts of power depending on the BOOST multiplier your max is 7X correct? well then you would probably have the power of a 14X boost, it's your only way of defeating Yuma, this is a do-or-die situation] Ddriag was right, I could die again if I wasn't careful.
"Anything else?" I said, "about my situation, anything I should be worried about or could help me?"
[in fact, Gremory, she's a devil as well as the student council at Kouh academy, they know about you being a sacred gear, they might plan on taking you in, accept they're strong and will keep you safe while you train to defeat my arch-nemesis, the vanishing dragon, it is your destiny to fight him] Ddriag reminded me of Valy, the white dragon emperor
crap! he is really strong, I need to train hard! "Ok, how strong is this vanishing dragon, and who is he?" I asked still already knowing the answer to one of his questions, just needed to get a decent estimate of this guy, the gap was huge in the anime but need to know from Ddriag's point of view.
[I am afraid I do not know, different reincarnation, different host but always assume they're stronger than you, find a drive and push forward, speaking of drive what's yours, to become strong? that's all I can think of] Ddriag's host's all wanted power so that's what he guessed with Issei.

Ddriag couldn't even guess where this was going but was interested.

[one more thing, I need to teach you how to use magic, making normal energy blasts, if Yuma decides to fly then you can't exactly punch her from that far range, since I'm willing to bet your trainers don't know anything about magic] Ddriag was right, what human could use magic? But the mere thought of someone training me to shoot energy blasts and using magic excited me!
"Ok, when do we start?" I asked, I wish it could've been right now.
[right now, in your dreams it's perfect!] Ddriag proceeded to give me lessons on the basics of magic, how to create energy balls and attacks.

that's how I met Ddriag, I learned how to use KI blast's and even learned Dragon shot where I put all my power and compress it into a ball, it not mountain level like what Issei was able to do in cannon, nowhere even close, but I can destroy large buildings I practiced on an abandoned building that was set to be demolished.
Anyway, school starts up in the morning so I better prepare for that.
- 6 AM my bed -

'That alarm, why haven't I gotten rid of it? it was probably expensive...' I got up went for a cold shower, it's better for the body, I ate then brushed my teeth and put my school clothes on, it was the same as a normal day, except I started doing a morning jog pretty early in the morning.
- Kouh Academy -
There was a welcome back ceremony and a welcoming ceremony for the first years, I kinda slept through the whole thing, First years were up on top of the stage on the assembly, Matsuda and Motohama were busy checking them out.
"Hey, Issei it's that girl from the beach, the cute girl with a nice butt and white hair, she also has golden eye's bro, can't wait to peep on her" he really whispered the last part, me, Motohama, Matsuda had all come up with an elaborate plan of peeping and not getting caught, we were sure it was gonna work.
I opened up my eyes, Koneko seemed to be staring directly at me her glare was angry "H-Hey guys, I don't think I want to peep on her anymore, she seems scary..." Koneko's eyes were on me for certain, with my knowledge from the anime Devil's have very good hearing and can see in the dark.
I was going off the assumption this was like the Anime since twice critical never showed up in the manga. 'Just had to stay safe and be prepared at all times, the first thing I need to do is make sure I can defeat Yuma, but do I want to? if I die by Yuma and summon Rias then that puts me in the gremory family right there, but I could also prove myself by defeating a fallen angle and then get accepted into the gremory household' I prefer the ladder option so I would defeat Yuma.
[Issei, you there? I'm in your head speaking with you, Koneko you said that girl's name was, she is definitely looking at you, what the hell did you say?] Ddriag could feel that bloodlust being directed at us.
'peeping? what else?' I was still scared shitless of Koneko, but NOTHING is gonna stop me from seeing and touching boob's, I vowed to become the Heram god!
[girls have THAT much blood lust over peeping? what has the world come to these days] Ddriag was speaking my tune.
'well, I'm gonna sleep, nothing important happens at this ceremony anyway' With that, I had a nice nap.

me and Yuma were walking home, we were having a normal talk, then she brought up something which gave me the chills.
"Are you free this Saturday? we could go out on a date if you're not busy?" Yuma asked with a blush, with how many dates we've been on it never seems like anything's going to happen, but this time I really had a feeling, not the good kind.
"Yeah, it's a date, see you Saturday!" I walked off, then I noticed Koneko in the distance, he Mabey I'll talk to her, "Hey! who's there!" I shouted.
Koneko surprised walked out around the corner, "Were you spying on me?" I asked with a cheeky grin "HAHA, usually it's me spying on girls but for a girl to be spying on me, that's something you don't see every day."
"yes, I was spying on you," Koneko said with a completely straight face. Not even a pause or anything 'the fact she said it with a normal face, not even a hint of embarrassment if I were to tell the WHOLE SCHOOL ABOUT THIS, oh wait they would never believe me' Yeah makes sense why she has a straight face.
"Why were you spying on me then? unless you like me or something?" I put on a joking face, 'wonder how she'll react'
"No"
'Well that was bland, no anger or anything, kinda hurt...' "I was just messing around, cant you joke every once in a while? C'mon, cheer up!" I smiled, trying to be nice.
"Not in the mood Issei, I'm gonna go." and with that, she left, not even a look back or a "goodbye" 'That was cold, oh well.' with that I decided to prepare for my date with Yuma.
