It was twilight before the dawn when a shooting star was shown heading for a forested area near what appeared to be a camp sit
"Huh?" the pro hero Mandalay said
"What is it?" another pro hero asked
"I'm pretty sure a meteor fell in the forest, I'm going to go check it out" she said running off
"HEY SHINO!" the other pro hero exclaimed. "It was your turn to do the dishes" she said. After an hour of searching Mandalay found the site of the shooting star and once she looked into it was shocked to find something metallic, something otherworldly
"What is this?" She asked shocked touching a red circle on top of the pod making it flash "Uh oh" she said.
"ALERT, STASIS POD DETECTED! ALERT STASIS POD DETECTED!" the Maximal computer said shocking Rattrap who was sleeping at the computer
"What?" Rattrap said before he fell off his chair "A stasis pod!" he said using the computer to get a better location "right when I'm the only one able to do anything
"Rattrap, what's going on in here?" Rhinox asked as he rushed in
"A pod fell into a forest" Rattrap said
"Which one, maybe we can send in our human allies" Rhinox said
"The Beast Forest" Rattrap said
"Who's in the field?" Rhinox asked
"Everyone, but they're busy looking for Energon" Rattrap said
"Who's closest?" Rhinox asked
"Chopper face and birdbrain" Rattrap said
"Then have Airrazor look for the pod" Rhinox said
"Yeah I'm doing that now" Rattrap said
"Meanwhile I'm off to scan those quirks again, it more intriguing then I hope" Rhinox said
"Intriguing" Tarantulas said as he scanned another kidnapping victim's DNA while having up a different DNA Helix "it seems that there are several differences that lead to these genetic abnormalities; one that if I can manipulate I can restore something that was lost to the Predacons. Now there seem to be three different structures" he said
"Alert Stasis Pod located" his computer said
"Ooh goodie a new friend to play with, computer locate pod" Tarantuals commanded before he was shown the location "Excellent not too far from here, another loyal Predacon" he laughed before looking up "Don't worry my guests I'll be back soon" he said transforming to leave. Above him was a massive energon web which held a dozen captured people in web cocoons.
"Understood Rattrap, I'm right over the forest where you said the pod is located" Airrazor said as she glided through the forest looking for the pod "This is called Beast's Forest right, I wonder why I can't see any beasts in here" she said as she scanned the terrain looking for the stasis pod when she spotted something, she landed on a tree path and scanned it "They don't look natural" she said looking at a set of footprints which seemed to have been made by melting the ground, what was more curious was the fact that they were in a single circle. "Someone else out here, but who?" she asked looking around "Rattrap, any other signals out here, human or cybertronian?"
"There are five distinct signatures, four grouped together, and one further away" Rattrap said "Also we got some comm chatter from that group, track the one furthest away, that will lead you to the pod" Rattrap said
"You got it" Airrazor said taking off
"So why did you ask if anyone was in the area?" Rhinox asked
"I saw a ring of footprints melted into the ground" Airrazor said
"Look birdy just focus on the pod, we don't want that to fall into Pred hands" Rattrap snapped
"Roger that" Airrazor said
"I wonder what it could be" Mandalay asked looking around
"something that not yours" a creepy voice said forcing her to jump back and look around
"Who are you?" Mandalay asked
"Oh an admirer" the voice said as he looked down at her from above
"Where are you?" she asked 'Guys I need help, I think something is' he telepathy was cut off as something slammed into the ground behind her, she turned to see Tarantulas in his robot robot lauging loudly, ripping a scream of fear from Mandalay's lungs before she ran
"You can try and run but you won't be able to get away, BEAST MODE!" he declared switching back to his spider form and scuttled after the brunette hero
'GUYS I NEED HELP!' she telepathically shouted
"All is peaceful here" Optimus said as he was patrolling the area outside of UA "Well except for Class 1-A" he said as he heard the sounds of training, "still it's good to hear that those sounds are training
"Hey Optimus, Cheetor here" Cheetor said over the radio
"Cheetor, what's the situation?" Optimus asked
"Looks like a pod landed in a forest" Cheetor replied
"Why wasn't I told?" Optimus asked
"I don't know, but people are talking about it here, along with the missing people"
"Okay that is something serious, I hope it's not who I think it is" Optimus said
"Yeah Tarantulas" Cheetor said "Anyway I'm heading over to the pod's location now"
"Understood I'll meet you there" Optimus said as he made sure the coast was clear "OPTIMUS PRIMAL MAXIMIZE!" he shouted transforming into his robot mode before taking off surprising the students of 1-A
"Was that one of those animal transformers?" Sero asked
"Could have been" Kirishima said
"What was it doing this close to our school?" Yaoyorozu worried
"Probably just checking on world out" Izuku said smiling
"I see" Yaoyorozu said frowning as she looked at Izuku
Mandalay was panting as she hid behind a tree looking around hoping she wasn't still being chased
"Okay this is turning into something like a horror movie" she said as she tried to calm her nerves down. "What does it want with me?'
"Oh come out, come out where ever you are" Tarantulas called out "I will find you" he said
"MANDALAY!" a voice cried out
"Pixie" Mandalay gasped before looking where her friend's voice was coming from
"Ah more company, this is going to be exciting" Taranatulas said as he landed from the tree he was in, looking around to see any sign of the woman he was chasing, who had her mouth covered by her hands to keep her quiet
"Shino! SHINO ANSWER ME!" Pixie Bob shouted unaware her voice as signalling where she was so Tarantulas was getting close to her with every second
'Ryuko, quite there is some weird transforming spider in the forest and it is after both of us and whatever was in that pod' she used her telepathy
'Are you serious?' Pixie-Bob asked
'Yes now quiet down or you'll be spotted!' she panicked looking around, 'Look up as well' she said
'you think it's up in the trees?' Pixie-bob panicked
'I do; use your quirk to make the earth beasts so you can take it down' Mandalay suggested
'Good idea' Ryuko said
"I've found it" Airrazor circling the pod before landing on the tree above it and scanning it "And the protoform has acquired a Beast Mode already
"Any tampering to the pod itself?" Rhinox asked over comms
"Negative" Airrazor said
"Okay we need to see if we can find our friend" Rhinox said
"Understood" Airrazor said as she tried something "This is Airrazor on all maximal radio channels, if you can hear me and are in the forest please reply" she said as she got nothing "We understand you are a new Maximal but as you can tell this is not Cybertron, this is a new world" Airrazor said before a scream was heard "NO!" she shouted taking to the sky
"Airrazor!" Cheetor said as he ran under her "What was that?"
"It sounded like a human" Airrazor said
"Let's book it!" Cheetor sais das the two raced ahead
"PIXIE!" Mandalay said as Pixie was being strangled by Tarantulas' webs
"Come on out or you friend will die" Tarantulas said
"Don't DO IT!" Ryuko said struggling to get free of the web
"Alright, I'm here" Mandalay said as she walked out of her cover holding her hands up
"About time, so good to see you being cooperative" Tarantulas said as he fired a web at him
"Ah Tanrantulas, playing with your food I see" a voice boomed as the two heroines quaked as they saw a red eyed, giant purple T-Rex walking towards them
"Mighty Megatron, just some more test subjects for my experiments" Tarantulas said as Scorponok was with him
"I See, yesss, very godo Tarantulas. Now where is the pod?" Megatron asked
"the female in red will lead us to it" Tarantulas said
"Good idea" Megatron said
"Let her go first" Mandalay said
"Do it" Megatron said as Pixie-Bob was released
"Oh great, we may need back up" Cheetor said
"What do you mean?" Airrazor asked
"I'm seeing three preds. Scorponox, Tarantulas and Megatron himself. Plus they have two human females" Cheetor said
"Oh dear, we may have to wait" Airrazor said
"Cheetor to base, we've run into a bit of a snag" he said
"What is it?" Rhinox asked over the radio
"Megatron and two of his goons captured two heroes, and one of them is leading them to the pod" Cheetor said
"Hold on Cheetor Optimus is on his way, don't do anything reckless" Rhinox warned
"Right, but what happens if the reach the pod first?" Cheetor asked
"Then act" Rhinox said
"You got it" Cheetor said before ending it and looks at Airrazor
"Well you heard him" Airrazor said
"Yeah I did" Cheetor said grimly
"Ah yes" Megatron said happily as they came upon the pod
"Ah Megatron you might want to check again" Scorponok said
"WHAT! Its empty!" Megatron roared glaring at the humans
"Hey don't look at us okay!" Mandalay snapped
"Then who was it" Megatron said
"HEY SCALY!" a voice cried out "CHEETOR MAXIMIZE!" he shouted switching to robot mode
"Ah Maximals nice of you to join us" Megatron said
"Give it up Megatron" Cheetor said
"Oh yeah like that will work" Airrazor said
"What it could" Cheetor said
"Now, now I see that it is three to two and we have hostages, yes. So it seems the advantage is well mine Maximal" Megatron gloated "Yessss"
"For now" Airrazor said
"But wait we'll stop you" Cheetor said
"I'm sure you will, but first where is the protoform that was inside this pod?" Megatron demanded
"Like we would know" Airrazor said
"If you do not have its location, then maybe destroying you two and the two humans, we have here will draw him out" Megatron said "TERRORIZE!" he shouted shifting into robot mode, releasing a roar from the T-Rex head from the end of his arm "No tremble Maximals, for you are about to be offlined, YESSSS!" Megatron declared before the three Predacons opened fire on the Maximals
"Midoriya, could I possibly have a word?" Yaoyorozu asked after class the day
"Sure what is it?" Izuku asked
"What are you hiding?" she asked
"Come again?" Izuku asked not sure what she just said
"You and the others who went and saw that aliencraft have been hiding something, and I'm worried about what you know of" Yaoyorozu said clutching her hands over her heart "So please tell me whatever it is, I'll keep it secret as well" she said
"Don't worry we're not hiding much but if I did want to tell you, I have to ask the principal's permission" Izuku said
"What why?" Yaoyorozu asked
"He found us before we could get any closer, and for some reason he chose not to be on anyone's shoulders" izuku said
"Very well, I hope I can convince him to let me in on your secret" Yaoyorozu said walking up
"That was too close" Izuku sighed.
G'day Guys Grizz here well that was a bit intense with Mandalay and Pixie-bob in the merciless hands of Megatron, while Optimus is on his way there right now and yes I know its only the 3 chapter I'm bringing in a stasis pod seem a bit of overkill, but what better way to rise the stakes of this new Beast Wars then the life or death of a protofomr of the maxmial origins so tune in next time for who that will be
