Selina looked out the giant window by the sink, smiling as she poured water into the coffee machine. It was someone else's day to do morning chores, the sun was shining, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. It would be a beautiful day!

Suddenly, she felt lips against her ear and hands sliding from her thighs to the curves of her bottom. "How's my beautiful wife this morning?" Elijah whispered.

She shivered. He wasn't usually so demonstrative out in the open, but why question it? "Does someone want sex this early in the morning?" She teased.

"Someone wants his wife any hour of the day," Elijah replied, making her giggle as he kissed a trail down her neck. "And don't you protest, Ms. Warren Mikaelson. I know you have a fondness for sex."

"Oh, yes," Selina grinned, reaching behind herself to stroke his five o'clock shadow. "My hobbies include knitting, baking, and taking long walks in fields. Lots of strenuous physical activity."

He slapped her bottom. "And by strenuous physical activity, I hope you mean a good old-fashioned fucking session!"

"Mommy, Daddy, what's a focking session?" Asked a high-pitched voice out of nowhere, which made them both jump and blush furiously when they saw their daughter Mackenzie standing in the doorway and staring at them. She'd been incredibly quiet so who knew how long she'd been there or what she'd heard and seen.

"It's grown-up stuff, sweetie," Selina told her at last. "Nothing you need to think about."

"Certainly not," Elijah huffed.

Selina rolled her eyes and picked their daughter up to give her a hug. It was a bit more difficult now since she was a much bigger six-year-old, but not impossible. "How are you this morning, sweetheart? And what are you doing up so early?"

"I couldn't sleep," Mackenzie replied. "So, I got dressed and decided to eat now because I have a big, hard day in front of me." She waved at her father over her mother's shoulder. "Hi, daddy!"

Elijah smiled and took hold of her, kissing her hair. "Hello, beautiful princess! And why do you have such a big, hard day ahead of you?"

"Because I don't like the cushions on the sofa," she explained, throwing her arms around his neck. "And I want to move them. I'll draw where I want the other furniture to go too!"

"Oh, boy," Selina said and looked heavenward.

"Wow," Elijah told his tiny daughter as he tried not to think about how difficult it would be rearranging all the furniture. "It sounds like you have a big day ahead of you indeed! Something like that requires a lot of energy so why don't you have some of the yummy chocolate chip pancakes your mother made and some juice beforehand?"

"No, thank you," Mackenzie shook her head and turned to face her mother. "I think I just want some cereal, please, Mommy! Then I must go fix Auntie Remiel and Ricky's bedroom! It's a big mess!"

"Wow!" Selina smiled. "You'll be busy today!" She gave Elijah a look of confusion and he shrugged.

"I just want to be as good as the pretty lady on TV!" Mackenzie said.

"Who is she talking about?" Elijah whispered to Selina.

"Angelica Morningstar," Selina explained as she poured her daughter a bowl of cereal and then put milk on it. "She has a new business where she stages furniture for people. Not a bad role model for your daughter. Haven't you seen the ads?"

"No," Elijah shook his head and placed his daughter on one of the chairs by the kitchen island. "I guess I missed them."

"Well, apparently it's a big success like her events planning business. She really seems to have a head for stuff like that."

"Good for her," Elijah replied, not knowing what else to say.

"I want to be exactly like her!" Mackenzie said from her spot by the kitchen island as Selina brought her cereal. "Thank you, Mommy!"

"You're welcome, sweetie," Selina said with a smile and ruffled her daughter's hair.

"I'll make lots of money and me and my demon king will have a big castle and I'll decorate it!" The little girl continued.

"What?" Elijah mouthed.

"I don't know," Selina mouthed back and shrugged.

"Wow, those are some big goals," Elijah told her, trying to sound encouraging.

"Yes," Mackenzie nodded and continued munching on her cereal.

Just then, Ricky and Remiel entered the house after finishing feeding the horses. Their eyes widened as they noticed Mackenzie. Then they tried to slip away silently without her noticing. But alas, it didn't work. Mackenzie the tiny tornado saw them, hopped off the chair, and ran over to them before they could move more than a step. "Ricky! Auntie Remiel!" She grabbed both their hands. "Perfect timing! I want to talk to you."

"We'd love to, sweetie," Ricky said patiently. "But Aunt Remiel and I are very tired after doing all our chores and we'd really like to take a nap for a while."

"Hi, sweetheart," Remiel said calmly, trying to keep the little girl from being upset. "Whatever it is that you want to talk about, can it wait a little while?" She kissed Mackenzie's hair and tried to step away, but Mackenzie wasn't swayed.

"Not now!" She shook her head. "It's time to redecorate your bedroom!"

"What?" Ricky howled, eying Selina and Elijah in desperation and hoping they would help as Mackenzie grabbed Remiel's hand to drag her down the hallway to their bedroom.

"What do you want us to do?" Selina yelled unapologetically.

"Yeah," Elijah added. "If I have to spend all day moving the living room furniture, there's no way you're getting a break."

"Poor kids," Selina chuckled. "They didn't have a chance."

"Nope," Elijah shook his head. "Now, what do you say we have those pancakes? I need my energy, apparently."

"Yes, you do," Selina smiled and kissed him lightly. "They're coming right up. And a cup of coffee, too."

"Hi, great-Grandma!" Lucas said, making Selina jump about a foot before she turned and saw him rubbing his hands together.

"What did you call me?" She bristled.

His eyes widened as she raised a wooden spoon over her head.

"Grandma Selina, I mean," he clarified, chuckling nervously and stepping back out of arms' reach.

"Very smooth," Elijah remarked, looking up from his paper for a moment while Ricky put a hand over his heart and tried to catch his breath. Then Elijah caught Selina's eye. "Are you proud you can still strike fear in the hearts of men, darling?"

"Sometimes it's handy," Selina nodded, whacking the spoon against her palm a couple of times before putting it back in the drawer.

"I know you don't like to be reminded how old-" He faltered when Elijah gave Lucas a look.

"How old we are?" The Original finished, his eyes narrowed, and arms crossed over his chest.

Selina chuckled. It was so much funnier when Lucas was doing it to someone else.

"I wasn't going to say old," Lucas tried to reassure him. "I was going to say 'experienced' and 'mature'. Does that sound better?" He tried to give his great grandfather his most winning smile so he wouldn't murder him right there in the kitchen.

"You still think he's a smooth operator?" Selina grinned.

"Not so much anymore," Elijah replied and then went back to his paper.

"Wow, you're actually reading a paper!" Lucas exclaimed. "No one really does it anymore! Usually, they get things off the internet or something unless they're old-" He trailed off. "I mean, unless they're-"

"Experienced?" Elijah finished.

"Yeah, that," Lucas said with a smile.

"Be gentle with him," Selina chuckled. "He's trying."

"Yeah," Elijah grumbled. "But not very hard." He paused and looked Lucas in the eye. "I also read the paper because I like how it feels in my hands. It adds something to the experience."

"Good for you," Lucas said and gave Elijah a few pats on the back. "I hope you can forgive my clumsy words." Then he turned to Selina. "Oh, beautiful grandmother, may I have a cappuccino with lots of foam, pretty please?"

Selina scoffed and rolled her eyes but gave him an indulgent grin before heading over to the fancy new coffee machine Elijah had bought for her. "If you weren't so damn cute, I would say no!"

"Well, it's good I am then!" Lucas gave her a wink.

"Not to mention humble, too," Elijah said. "Say…why did you get up so late today? Are you feeling all right?"

"I'm fine, but…I was reading the bible all night if you can believe it," Lucas confessed.

Selina choked on her coffee and Elijah looked up from his paper in surprise. "Really?"

"Yeah," Lucas shrugged, hoping they wouldn't make a big deal about it. "Heaven is part of my heritage, so I wanted to see what all the religion stuff was about."

"I read it," Elijah told him.

"You did?" Lucas asked, surprised. He expected to have to explain himself, not be told the others had read it too.

"Yes," Elijah nodded. "Not that I believed in what it said during my lifetime, but you can't live as long as I have without encountering it, so…I read the whole thing just for knowledge." He paused. "So…what did you think?"

Selina plopped his cup of coffee down in front of him and Lucas took a sip and thanked her.

"You're welcome," she smiled and ruffled his hair.

"I know it was written by humans so it's not totally accurate," Lucas said.

"Well, one thing is true," Selina told Lucas with a wink and a smile. "Your grandfather really exists. Which is very handy when it comes to dealing with my own feelings about church. I might even start going again on occasion." She paused. "And anything about your Uncle Lucifer…that's not something you mention to his face unless you want an earful."

"You're right about Grandpa," Lucas nodded. "And thanks for the heads up about my uncle for when I meet him." Then his lips became a smile, which disappeared quickly at the sound of a shrill voice.

"Uncle Lucas!"

Before he could move, Mackenzie had practically thrown herself off the chair and run all the way over to him to try and climb into his lap. "Yes, please, sit," Lucas drawled, trying to sound enthusiastic. "I don't have anywhere to be!"

"I decorated your mommy and daddy's bedroom," Mackenzie told him. "Now it's your turn!"

"My turn?" Lucas winced and hoped she didn't notice. "Well, I guess…I guess I'm not worthy of someone with your talent. Why don't you go decorate your mommy and daddy's bedroom?"

"No," Mackenzie shook her head. "Your turn," she said firmly. "Lots of blue sky and clouds. Like Heaven, cause you're an angel!"

Lucas snorted. "How…how original!" He got out, then looked at his parents over her shoulder. "Help me!" He said and then gave Mackenzie a significant look.

"What do you need help for when you have a chance to have your room redecorated by the great Mackenzie Mikaelson?" Ricky asked as Remiel burst out laughing. "Since we had the privilege, it won't hurt you! You're on your own, son!"

Everyone burst into laughter except Lucas, who glared at them all until he had a feeling that made him need to head out."

"Why?" Mackenzie pouted.

"It's Vicky," he told her and disappeared before anyone else could say a word.

"Wow," Elijah shook his head. "I don't think I'm ever gonna get used to Lucas' disappearing acts."

"He's just doing his heavenly duties now that he's a full angel," Remiel explained while trying to avoid Elijah and Selina's gazes.

"Did he just say 'Vicky' or has my hearing gone funny?" A dumbfounded Selina asked.

"No," Elijah put a hand on her shoulder. "That's what I heard too."

"Look at the time," Ricky said and grabbed Lucas' cappuccino from the counter, draining it so it wouldn't be wasted. "Remiel, would you care to join me outside?"

"Yes," Remiel nodded, avoiding Selina and Elijah's gazes too. "I would. Let's go. It's a beautiful day out."

"What's wrong with Vicky?" Selina asked.

"Before I go, can I have a cappuccino too, please?" Remiel asked, ignoring the question.

"Maybe Vicky is Lucas' princess like I'll have my demon king one day," Mackenzie guessed.

"Remiel, please," Elijah told her. "If something is going on with my niece, I'd like to know about it. Is she in trouble?"

Remiel looked at Ricky. "Should I tell them? I mean, I can't say all the details, but…"

"Might as well," Ricky nodded. "It'll save some trouble. Or I could. I don't want you getting in trouble with your dad."

"Thank you," Remiel nodded, stepping back and letting him speak.

"Lucas' mission is to protect Vicky and all her potential. She's had some trouble since she came back to Earth and needs a little help not squandering her second chance. But Lucas has also fallen in love with her," Ricky said.

"Damn," Selina whispered. Her and Elijah's jaws were on the floor. Ricky had a heavenly mission? No wonder he was reading the bible!

Vicky sighed and dropped two envelopes on her dresser: one was addressed to her grandfather, Kol, and the other one was meant for Kai.

She hadn't felt brave enough to reach out to Kol for the last few weeks. Sure, she'd sent him a few brief texts, but nothing of any length or substance. As for Kai, what was the point of talking to him at all? She sniffled and wiped her nose with the back of her hand before pouring herself a large glass of vodka and then grabbing the handful of pills that would end this farce of a second chance at life. Now was probably the best chance to do it since she hadn't seen the pain in the ass that called himself her guardian angel for a long time now. Not that she was bitter. It was a blessing in disguise.

She drained the glass, and then stuck the pills in her mouth, but before she could swallow, she felt a pair of strong arms around her waist.

"Spit them out!" came the command. "Spit those damn pills out right now, Vicky!"

She shook her head and did her best to keep her mouth closed so nothing in it would escape while she world on freeing herself from his mercilessly tight grip. Then he gave her a punch to the gut and the pills and vodka all sprayed out on her nice clean tile floor while she coughed and gagged and tried to catch her breath.

Clutching the edge of the sink, she turned to glare at him. "What the hell is your problem?" She raged. "I was in the middle of something!"

"Yes, I know," Lucas nodded. "I'm just glad I didn't let you get to the end of it. Are you done throwing away your second chance at life now? Because I'm gonna keep coming back every time you try and pull this crap."

"Oh, fuck you!" She spat and wiped some drool from her lips. "That was a horrible and sneaky trick you pulled, not showing up for weeks and then appearing at just the wrong moment."

"I had my reasons for not looking after you," he said. "I was busy with family stuff, but I suppose that's no excuse if you missed me."

"I didn't miss you!" Vicky spat. "I found your absence delightful! Let's continue it. Go back where you came from and leave me the hell alone!"

"I can't do that," he shook his head and ran his fingers through his silky hair. "It would be too much of a waste. I'm supposed to come stop you every time you try and do away with yourself." Even though it was an emotionally charged moment, Lucas couldn't help but look at her and feel his heartbeat faster all over again. Even though she was as stubborn as a bull, she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and the sexiest one too. He hadn't been able to think of anything else since their time in her bathtub.

"I don't need you!" She yelled. "I didn't ask you to watch over me and I certainly don't need it now, especially from some angel who looks like a fucking male model."

"I'll take that as a compliment, sweetheart," he shot back, embarrassed when his voice cracked.

She raised her chin, crossed her arms, and began pacing. She wasn't used to him being angry and it was a bit disconcerting for her.

"What do you want from me?" She asked slyly.

"I want you to embrace your second chance at life," he said. "Take it for the gift that it is and stop trying to kill yourself!"

"I can if I want to. It's my body and I can do what I want with it. It's none of your damn business!"

"I made it my business!" Lucas told her. "Deal with it!"

A grin curved her lips. "You want my human body that bad, huh?" She strode over to him and put a hand on his chest. "I'll make you a deal. I'll give myself to you on a silver platter and in return, you give me a get out of jail free card, huh? You just decide not to do whatever it is you're doing."

He sucked in his breath and tried to stay loose as her hands went down his chest, but he could feel himself becoming aroused because of her closeness and touching. Then he shook his head, coming back to his senses. "Here's another deal: I save your life and you stop being a bitch!"

"Wow!" Vicky smiled, an evil grin playing on her lips. "I didn't know you had it in you to be so mean, Lucas the Angel!"

"You don't know me at all," Lucas pointed out. "Have you even thought of finding out who I truly am?"

She shrugged, wondering why he would ask such a silly question. Why would she want to get to know him? It wasn't like they were ever gonna date or anything.

"Do you even know how to have sex?" Vicky asked, a smirk playing on her lips. "Do you know where to stick it?"

"Fuck you," he burst out, wanting so badly not to cry in frustration in front of her.

"You wish," Vicky murmured, getting close enough that he could smell the orange scent of the shampoo she used. Then she began to undo the buttons on her blouse, slowly, one by one.

Lucas knew this was a ploy; he knew she was playing with him. But he couldn't look away.

This was fine with Vicky. If she was in control…as long as she could play with him like he was a horny, lovesick puppy, everything would be okay.

But then she let out a cry of surprise as his expressing changed and he pushed her against the wall, sniffing her neck and nipping her gently, then licking the blood up before he picked her up and held her close, her legs wrapping around his waist. Then she felt his hand cradle the back of her head and push her forward as his lips crashed against hers, over and over until she could barely breathe. Then she realized her angel was angry…and she wasn't in control anymore.

She never thought she'd see a side of him that was hard or angry. His kiss wasn't gentle in the least. It was hard, brutal, and passionate, and brutal all at once. She couldn't breathe at all. She tried to pull out of the kisses, but his lips were soft as silk, and before she realized what she was doing, her hands were in his hair, and she was responding to him like a thirsty woman in the middle of the desert.

He cupped her ass, then carried her over to the bed, then tore her blouse open, the buttons flying everywhere, then biting her nipples through the lace of her bra. Then, as his breathing picked up, he raised her skirt and removed her panties as she closed her eyes, and her breathing became ragged.

They kissed several times, none of them gentle. But it was what she needed to feel better. Then came the unmistakable sound of his zipper being undone and she didn't have time to do more than scream out his name before he drove into her repeatedly. It was intense but there was nothing else she wanted then but to be fucked by her angel.

Finally, Lucas rolled off her and lay beside her on the bed and Vicky gasped when the cold air in the room hit her body. What had just happened? It wasn't what she'd expected. It hadn't been sweet, tender, or gentle. It had been rough, bestial, and…oddly calming for her. He was naked, his clothes thrown haphazardly about the room or ripped in pieces on the floor.

She rolled over and pulled the sheet over her body just in time to see Lucas hop off the bed and pull his pants on. He didn't look at her or say a word to her or give any indication that he realized she was there.

"You…you're leaving?" She asked at last.

"Yeah," Lucas nodded. "I got what I came for, so I don't see why I need to stay any longer."

"Oh," Vicky nodded and tried to be just as emotionless as him. "All right." She bit her lip and sat up.

"The way I see it," he continued without looking at her as he put on his shoes, "is that you wanted me to prove to you that I knew where to stick it and I have, so my job is done, and I can leave and do better things with my time. I'm sure Grandpa can find a more worthy task for me than you."

Vicky felt like she'd been punched in the gut; like she wanted to cry for days without stopping. She'd been horrible to him. She'd wanted nothing more than for him to go away. Now he was and she had no idea why her heart was breaking in a million pieces.

She took a deep breath and gazed at him. "I'm very sorry," she told him. "I shouldn't have said that to you."

He shrugged nonchalantly and went for his t-shirt. "You shouldn't have, but you did, and there's nothing you can do about it now. No point in dwelling on stupid choices, don't you agree?"

"Look at me, Lucas, please!" She begged.

As Lucas took his jacket in hand and was putting it on, he locked eyes with her. "What do you want?" He asked. "You were pissed when I tried to get close to you, and now you're upset that I'm pulling away. Would you make up your mind? I'm not gonna be manipulated by you."

"I…I guess I can start by being honest," she told him with a sigh. "I don't know what I want. I mean, I thought I wanted to die, but…maybe not so much anymore. Maybe it's because of you. At least if you did anything, you showed me that I can live. Perhaps being in a relationship now isn't the best idea, but…I'm starting to remember things about how I used to be. What I wanted to do with my life. Stuff I never got to accomplish because I got murdered."

"Good," Lucas growled. "You can do what you want and leave me the hell out of it. And I can find other ways to amuse myself besides babysitting an ungrateful bitch like you!"

Vicky stumbled and fell. Her eyes were wide as if he'd slapped her. "Excuse me?"

"Do you not understand English?" Lucas asked. "I don't like you! I don't want to be around you anymore! Now you can be someone else's problem!"

"I'm sorry I hurt you," she mumbled, knowing it wouldn't do any good.

"Don't bother," he hissed. "It's all lip service. I think it would be better if you just shut up." He paused. "And don't try and cry and pout to make me be with you again. If you're sad about what you've done, good. Your sadness is your problem, not mine!"

"I'm sorry," she sobbed. "I'm so sorry!"

"I don't care, and I don't see why you do," he told her. "You got what you want: you can live, you can die, you can run off with the circus and become a clown…I don't give a fuck anymore and it's such a relief not to have to waste my energies on a brat who doesn't give a shit about anything, not even her own life. You're free of me, and I am, blessedly, free of you. Goodbye!"

He slammed the door closed and Vicky buried her head in her pillow and sobbed earnestly. Before this moment, she'd thought that Lucas leaving would be a release, a kind of freedom; but now that he was gone, she was hurting more than ever, and she had no idea why.

Kayla walked into the stable, grabbed a red apple from the basket, and gave it to one of the horses who chomped it greedily and she had to pull her hand away quickly so she wouldn't get bitten. "You must've been hungry, huh, beautiful girl?" She asked and patted the horse's nose gently.

She wore a white cotton bustier and a lace skirt and did her best not to stain either as she leaned against a pillar to rest and mentally prepare herself for when Kai showed up. He had to make everything a production and get a rise out of her. He couldn't just drop Florence off and then leave. She looked her outfit over with approval. She looked like a sexy nineteenth century farm girl, and the design had come out exactly as she'd meant it to. It was the sort of look she wanted to focus on at school, and she felt lucky that a program in the city had accepted her so she could stay with Uncle Kol while attending classes.

The sense of relief she felt at finally being able to begin a new phase in her life and have a career as a fashion designer could not be underestimated. Everything was almost perfect. Almost. There was still the small matter of Kai himself and dealing with that…it wouldn't be so easy. Custody of Florence was shared between her parents and Kai also saw her every other weekend.

After their last hot encounter, he'd kept a low profile, and only showed his face or came anywhere near her when he was picking up or dropping off Florence, and she was grateful that he at least had that much sense. Although Kayla also couldn't help but feel that he was lulling her into a false sense of security and when she least expected it, he would try to lock her in the barn or somewhere else and have his way with her.

She shuddered at the thought. The only person she wanted Kai to pay attention to now was his daughter, because Florence seemed to love her father very much and for that, she was awfully glad.

"Mommy! Mommy!" Kayla turned around just in time to see the tiny figure shoot through one of the open stable doors. It was around the time Kai usually dropped her off, so her presence was not a surprise.

"Sweetheart!" Kayla exclaimed, gathering her in her arms for a hug. "I'm so glad to see you. Did you have a good time at your dad's?"

"Yeah!" Florence nodded. "Daddy even showed me a new magic trick!"

The little girl was clapping excitedly, and Kayla did her best to be excited too, but she couldn't help groaning internally. This was not what she wanted to hear. "Did he now?" She asked through gritted teeth, and then looked over at Kai, who was leaning against one of the stable doors with his arms crossed.

She looked for a few seconds and then swore under her breath as she realized what a mistake that was. He'd grown a beard since she'd last seen him and was even more sexy if it were possible. Damn it!

Meanwhile, unaware of her mother's discomfort, Florence kept babbling. "He showed me how to make fire! Isn't that amazing?!"

"Sure, it is," Kayla replied, ruffling Florence's hair while shooting daggers at Kai with her eyes. She'd told him over and over again, under no uncertain terms, that she wasn't ready for Florence to learn magic yet, especially stuff involving fire. She was far too young! But he never listened to her. He seemed to think her insistence on caution was some evil, underhanded way to stop Florence from learning anything about her magical heritage, and he was not going to accept that. She was going to learn to use her powers and that's all there was to it.

Finally, Kayla cleared her throat to break the silence before Kai could say something outrageous or inappropriate that she'd have to try and get out of explaining to Florence later. "Honey, why don't you go into the farmhouse? Grandma made cupcakes for you and Aunt Mackenzie."

"Really?" Florence clapped. "Are they chocolate?"

"Of course they are!"

Florence went to hug her father and give him a kiss. "Love you, Daddy! Be nice to Mommy, okay?"

"I love you too, my little witch," he said with a smile and hugged her back tightly. "Now go get your cupcakes before Aunt Mackenzie eats them all! And I promise I'll be very nice to Mommy."

Assured, Florence ran for the main house, leaving her parents alone in the stables.

Trying to avoid what was becoming a very hot gaze from her daughter's father, Kayla began picking up apples from the baskets around the stables and throwing some into each horse's trough. Finally, she turned to face him, hands on hips. "Do you enjoy going behind my back and teaching my daughter magic tricks even though I have told you multiple times that her doing magic at this age makes me very uncomfortable?"

"Don't you mean our daughter?" Kai asked. "It's not like you made her all by yourself!" He came behind her close enough that she could feel the heat from his body. "You have to know that she's my daughter too and I'll teach her magic as I see fit. I'm not going to keep it from her."

She spun around, her heart skipping a beat when their bodies touched as she turned. One more step from him and they were body to body. He looked her over and licked his lips with appreciation, a smirk bringing one side of his beautiful mouth up.

"I know she's yours too, Kai," Kayla assured him. "I see bits of you in her every time I look at her. I just wanted to wait until she was a little older before she started learning magic, that's all. You know how hard it is for small kids to control stuff like that. What if she blows something up one day or sets herself on fire? You had to know when we created her that it would be an immensely powerful child we'd be dealing with!"

"Oh, yes," Kai grinned, grabbing her hand and massaging her palm with his thumb. "Do you remember when we created her, Kayla? Up against the refrigerator in your brother's kitchen, me buried deep inside you, over and over, as you screamed my name as you came…"

"Stop it!" She cried, pushing him away as she realized she was blushing like crazy. Then she turned away from him and grabbed a bucket of water to fill the horse trough with…although what she really wanted to do was soak Kai with it.

He came up behind her and gave her a spanking. "You're still sexually attracted to me," he told her. "Don't think I didn't notice." He paused. "Is that why you're dressed in that tight bustier with your skirt hiked up to leave nothing to the imagination? You knew I was coming with Florence, and you wanted to be a tease?"

"You can think whatever you want, Kai. It doesn't change the fact that I don't have feelings for you." She was lying through her teeth and she knew the blush that was coloring her cheeks would give her away for sure. She shook her head and put more water in the troughs to give herself time to get herself together.

"Just for the sake of argument and because I feel the need to tell you how wrong you are, these are clothes I made myself and I'm wearing them to be sure they fit right or if I need to fix anything. It's the sort of thing that got me into the fashion program and I intend to make it into a clothing line." She paused. "You do remember that I got accepted into school, right? Or did it slip your mind because it's something that has nothing to do with you?"

"Oh, no, I remember," he said very seriously since he knew full well she was trying to make him mad. "I'm very happy for you. Congratulations!" He paused. "As for lying right to my face…" he came close to her and pulled her body in close contact with his. "I can wait for you to come back to me. It won't be long now." He lowered his head and began kissing and nipping a trail down the side of her neck.

"Kai!" She scolded, trying to sound forbidding, even though it came out as more of a moan that would probably get him hotter. "Would you stop…" she paused and tried to sound convincing even though she really wanted him to keep going. "Please?"

"I can tell that you aren't serious," Kai told her. "And if you're not, and I'm in the mood to touch the mother of my child, why should we stop? I want to touch you and fuck you. Badly." He cupped her breasts through the bustier and then growled her name into her ear, which made her whimper again. Then, if that wasn't enough, he pushed her skirt up as far as it would go and rubbed her gently under her panties.

"Oh…" She murmured. "Oh, my god…"

Kai chuckled. "Mark my words…you'll be mine again. Soon. I'm a very patient man and I'll find my way back to you for good. Then we can give Florence a sister…or two…or three."

Part of Kayla was ashamed of herself. She should stop this. She should push him away, leave the stables, and run like hell for the house. But she couldn't move. All her limbs were like jelly in his arms. He had complete control over her body, turning her head so he could capture her lips with his and slide his tongue between them.

He was rubbing himself against her now and she knew he was as aroused as she was. Any moment now, he would probably turn her to face him and-"

But no. He kept her right where he was, reaching into her panties and entering her with his finger instead. It had been so long that when she came, she came hard, screaming his name and nearly collapsing on the stable floor.

"Yes," he cried and nibbled on her earlobe. "I knew you were still into me. Into this!"

Breathing heavily, she backed away from him, straightened her skirt, and adjusted her bustier, trying to be as mad as possible so adrenaline wouldn't make her push him against the wall and have him take her from the front. "I told you," she said, standing up straight. "You and I are finished!"

"Yes, you tell yourself that," Kai chuckled before licking his fingers to taste her. "As sweet as ever." He made his way toward the stable door and gave her bottom a gentle but definite squeeze. "Enjoy the rest of your day," he told her with a wink. "And don't forget who you belong to." Then he went on his way, leaving Kayla panting and hot in the stable.
