Angelica parked her car in Klaus' driveway, the biggest smile on her lips as she threw her heels in trunk, exchanging them for much more comfortable flip-flops. Having realized that her Friday afternoon was nearly empty, she asked Cecelia if she would reschedule what little there was so that they could leave early for a well-deserved long weekend. Granted, it wasn't entirely selfless because Angie had wanted more time to be with Klaus, but Cecelia didn't need to know that.

As she made her way toward Klaus' house, she was still marveling about how lucky she'd been to sneak out of the mansion with all her stuff without being caught or questioned. It was the strangest luck! Could it mean that even if her father was against her relationship with Klaus (or would be, once he found out about it), her grandfather wasn't?

She shifted her bag on her shoulder to make things more comfortable. There wasn't much in there. Just some make up, her bikini, her flip flops, and sunscreen. It was the handbook on tomatoes that was weighing it down. She'd saw it at a used bookstore and thought she could give it to Klaus as a gift to repay him for the lingerie, or at the very least, they could have it around to help with their tomato growing venture. She didn't have much in terms of clothes, but she wasn't expecting to wear much that weekend anyway, and Klaus had promised he'd provide her what she needed if she did want to wear something other than her underwear.

Thanking Grandpa for the nice weather (or Aunt Avery, which was more likely), Angelica paused for a moment to wave at Klaus' lovely human neighbor, Mrs. Johnson. Her first name was Rita and, like Sybil, was always trying to get Angelica to use it, but with no success.

Mrs. Johnson was examining her flowers in her expansive garden, and thinking about…well, who knew what? She was very sneaky and surprisingly knowledgeable about what was going on between her and Klaus, Angie knew. She'd had her eye on them from that first drunk, drugged trip here to all the weekend visits after. And it wasn't even a problem! She seemed to like Klaus and was happy for him.

"Hello, Mrs. Johnson!" She called. "Lovely to see you!"

The older woman turned and smiled. "Hello, Angelica, dear."

"Your flowers are getting to be real beauties!"

"Yes," Mrs. Johnson chuckled. "Your boyfriend asked me for a few roses for you and of course I gave them to him. But don't tell him I said anything. It's supposed to be a secret!"

"I won't, I promise," she gave the other woman a wink.

"And is it too much to ask you to call me Rita?" The older woman asked, even though she knew what the answer would be. It was almost like a running joke between the two of them now.

"It's sweet, but you know I can't do that," Angie shook her head.

Mrs. Johnson nodded. "I thought as much, but I needed to ask anyway. Now…why are you here on a Friday night? Did you mistake it for some other day? Because you never have come on a Friday night!"

"What? Is it Friday?" Angelica asked, playing dumb as Mrs. Johnson approached her. The woman was too smart for her own good! "Well, I guess…I suppose…I'm spending the weekend," she confessed at last.

"The whole weekend?" Mrs. Johnson smiled and clapped her hands. "How perfect! He must be so thrilled! No wonder he asked me for roses! You know he hasn't been the same since the two of you have been seeing each other. He's been so much happier!"

Angelica waved the remark away. "We're not seeing each other," she corrected. "We're just friends."

Mrs. Johnson winced and rolled her eyes. "You'll have to explain it to me, dear. Is that the new term for having sex with your lover these days? I can never keep up with the language the kids use for things."

Angelica's eyes widened. "Mrs. Johnson!" She cried, blushing. "Don't say it so loud!" Then she muttered, "how is it that you know that's what we're doing?"

"Well, look at me, dear," the older woman grinned. "I wasn't born yesterday and when I was young, I had plenty of lovers of my own. Including my Jack. Neither of us wanted to get married when we met. It was the sixties, you know, and our crowd wasn't interested in settling down. We said we were just going to be friends who went to bed together, but then…then one day we woke up with rings on our fingers, happy as clams together until the day he died."

"I'm glad you found someone to love," Angie told her with a roll of her eyes. "But that won't be Klaus and me. We decided that we're never gonna do the marriage thing ever again. We just want another body in bed with us and someone to see over the breakfast table in the morning. No need to make this a big deal."

"Of course, there's a need!" Mrs. Johnson insisted. "You know, I loved Amy to bits, but she was completely wrong for him. Much too demure and polite. But since you…he sings in his garden. He whistles songs. He wears a big goofy smile, much like you are right now!"

"I'm not smiling!" Angie protested, although of course she was.

"There's no shame in admitting that you like him," Mrs. Johnson told her. "You do like him, don't you?"

"Well…" Angie rubbed her hands, trying to think of how to explain it."

"I know it's none of my business and I'm just a nosy old woman, but no matter how much you deny it, your feelings for him are written all over your face, my dear," Mrs. Johnson informed her with a wink. "And as to the other thing you're probably wondering about, yes, I do know what he is. I've known for years. And there's no need to worry about it. I've never been one to blab."

Angelica went pale anyway and nearly fainted. She knew he was supernatural? This was not good! How could Klaus have not considered this before he moved in among humans? She'd never understood those who put themselves at that sort of risk.

"I'm not a fool, dear," Mrs. Johnson continued in a much lower voice. "I know that vampires, werewolves, and witches don't only exist in storybooks. Klaus is both a werewolf and a vampire, isn't he? I've seen him bury enough bodies in his yard over the years. The poor man can't help what he is. And Amy…she was a witch, wasn't she?"

"Yes," Angelica nodded, trying not to show how much she was shaking. There was no point in denying it.

"And what are you?" Mrs. Johnson pressed.

Angelica quickly changed the subjected instead of answering. "Gee, I better get inside. Can't keep Klaus waiting! But it was lovely chatting with you, Mrs. Johnson. Like always. I hope you have a lovely day and evening."

"I will as I know you will," Mrs. Johnson winked. "I don't want to keep you. Run along and make him happy now!"

Angie got inside and shut the door closed with her foot. "Klaus?!"

No one answered her so she put her bag and the book, which was wrapped up in bright paper and tied with a bow, on the table, and went in search of her lover. "Klaus, I'm here! I got off work early!"

Still no reply. She headed to the kitchen and through the French doors that led to the terrace. Only then did she see him working up a sweat in his garden.

He wore nothing but a pair of black jean shorts. He was barefoot and shirtless with thin layer of sweat glistening over his muscles. And what muscles they were, she observed as she looked him over, the sight of him making her feel things and think things that surely would have kept her out of heaven if she wasn't Grandpa's granddaughter.

Wanting to get a little closer, she took a few steps forward, a twig cracking under one of her feet. That made Klaus turn, his whole body alert. Then he noticed her and put his hand on his forehead like a visor. "Hey, Angel! Is that you, or is it someone else whose body is entirely surrounded by light?"

"It's me," she said, blushing a little and then moving over into the shade. "Hi!"

"Hi! I didn't hear you arrive," Klaus told her, pulling his earbuds from his ears. "I've been working. Sorry I wasn't inside to greet you."

"Oh, it's not your fault," Angelica smiled. "I wanted to surprise you by arriving early. You had no idea I would be here." She blushed a little and stood up on tiptoe to kiss him gently and run her fingers over his bare chest, which was glistening with sweat.

"Oh, love," he chuckled, taking her hand and kissing her palm. "You don't want to do this with me now. I'm disgusting. I look like a pig and I smell like one."

"I don't mind," Angelica smiled. "I like how you smell. That's why I grab clothes out of your hamper so often instead of taking them from your dresser. I like having your scent on me."

He chuckled, his fingers running through her hair. "Well, if this is what you like, I won't contradict you. Who am I to deny you what you want?"

Angelica chuckled and pouted a little. "Well, I hope you wouldn't because then I'd be cross!"

Then, as she ran her fingers through his damp hair, he gripped her bottom and helped pull her upward so she could wrap her legs around his waist and kiss him soundly as his hands slid over her long bohemian skirt. He drove her crazy! He was so virile that she couldn't respond any other way than sexually! And as his tongue slid into her mouth, she let out a roar, a noise she had no idea she could make.

He chuckled after breaking their kiss. "You know," he murmured, "that's the kind of greeting I really like." He spoke it over her lips and then sat her down on a table near the pool. "Good afternoon, Miss Morningstar."

She chuckled on top of his lips. "Good afternoon, Mr. Mikaelson. Now we'll both need a shower."

"Well, luckily, that's not hard to arrange," he said as he moved some loose strands of hair out of her eyes. "Or I could just throw you in the pool." He grinned. "That's closer."

Angelica's eyes widened. "Wouldn't Mrs. Johnson enjoy that spectacle!"

He chuckled. "Dear Mrs. Johnson. Dear Rita."

"You know, it took her two whole seconds to realize I was here for the weekend!" Angie burst out, wide-eyed.

Klaus chuckled. "And what did you say to that? Did you tell her that we're done screwing around and officially married now?"

Angelica shook her head. "I would never say something like that because it's not true! We spoke for a little bit when I arrived. She says you're a lot happier since you and I have been, well…you know."

"Since we've been having wild, hot animalistic sex?" Klaus supplied, a mischievous grin on his lips. "She's not wrong." He raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Maybe we should invite her to dinner and discuss it."

"Oh, stop," Angie chuckled, blushed, and hit his chest playfully.

"What, it's true!" Klaus winked. "Sex is good for the soul and you know it, Angel!"

Angie nodded and grinned as she cupped his face and slid her fingers over his five o'clock shadow, the feeling of the stubble against her palms making her shiver. "Has anyone told you that you look very virile today?"

Klaus chuckled. "It's the sweat smell," he said. "It has chemicals in it that help a werewolf such as myself attract a female to mate."

Angie chuckled. "Well, you don't need werewolf hormones for that," she said.

Then his eyes slid downward to her feet. "Flip-flops to work, Miss Morningstar? What did all the fancy men in suits think of that?"

"I didn't wear them to work," Angie shook her head. "I exchanged them for my heels before I came into the house here." Then she jumped off the table and grabbed his hand. "Let's go inside. I brought you a present! It's inside on the table!"

"If you're talking about your perky breasts and perfectly round ass, I've seen those already and they certainly are gifts," Klaus joked.

Angelica shook her head as she pulled him along behind her. "That's not what I mean! Stop joking around." They reached the table and she let go of his hand to grab the wrapped box and give it to him, jumping up and down like a little girl. "For you!" She exclaimed. "I hope you like it!"

Klaus lost his smile, biting his lip and running his fingers through his curly hair as he took the box. "I thought you were joking."

Her face fell. "No, I wasn't. What's wrong?"

"Nothing," he shrugged, trying to get his smile back as he realized how much he had killed the mood. "I'm just not used to receiving actual gifts, that's all."

"Ever?" She asked, her jaw dropping in shock.

"Rarely," he admitted with a shy smile. "Thank you for this. It…it means a lot to me!"

Angie swallowed, a knot forming in her stomach. "Aren't you gonna open it?"

"Now?" Klaus asked.

"Yes, now," Angie nodded, with a pout, her arms crossed over her chest.

He chuckled. "You're awfully cute when you get mad!"

"I'm not mad," Angelica shook her head. "I'm just…I was so excited for you to have it!" She grabbed one side of the box and tried to pull it away.

"Hey!" He cried, keeping his grip on it. "What are you doing? Isn't this my gift? Don't touch my gift, woman!"

This made her smile and jump up and down again, like a little girl.

He tore the paper, tossed it aside and found himself looking at the Encyclopedia of Tomatoes. "Oh, nice! I can use this!"

"Isn't it great, though?" Angie clapped excitedly. "Look at chapter 12! It lists many reasons why tomatoes don't grow. Did you know that you need to put them in their own pots first?"

"Really?" Klaus' jaw dropped a little. "I never thought of that."

"Yep!"

"Thank you for my gift," Klaus smiled and kissed her gently on the lips after caressing her cheeks.

"You're welcome," she smiled and kissed him back.

Then he smirked. "Last one in the shower will read the first chapter out loud!"

She chuckled and picked up her skirt to run for the stairs. "Way ahead of you, Mikaelson!"

Klaus smiled, feeling warm all over and a wonderful feeling in his chest as he gripped the book tight. No one could make his heart beat fast like she did. No one!

"Hey!" Klaus cried as what seemed like a wave of water hit him in the face and sent him back against the shower wall. "You did not just spray me in the face with the shower-head, Morningstar!" He wasn't angry at all, but what fun would the game be if he didn't pretend just a little?

"Who, me?" Angelica asked innocently as she hid the shower head behind her back, standing before him, naked and blushing with supposed innocence. "What shower head? I don't see any shower head!" But her laughter gave up any pretense of innocence.

"I know you're lying!" He said with a grin. "And Angel, I have only one thing to say to you."

"Oh, yeah?" Angelica raised an eyebrow, inching toward the shower door. "And what's that?"

"Run. Because the moment I catch you, I'm going to fuck you so hard and so long you won't be able to sit for a month!"

Angelica chuckled. "Oh, really?" She purred and then stuck her tongue out at him. "Promises, promises!"

He narrowed his eyes at his prey and growled as her eyes widened and then with a squeak of fear, she bounded out of the shower and ran at top speed from the bathroom, not taking time to grab a towel or dry off or anything.

Klaus chuckled as he wrapped a towel around his own waist. It wouldn't be hard to catch her, even if he did give her a head start. Let her think she was winning for a little while, then grab her, put her over his shoulder, and get her back in his bed!

As Milo checked and rechecked that the locks on his fancy new sports car were locked, Natalie left him behind to make her way up to the front door of her father's house. Of course when he had gone on and on about how great the car was, she had rolled her eyes, but secretly she'd enjoyed riding around with him in such a powerful and attractive machine. When she reached the front step and realized he wasn't following, she turned around and groaned. "I can't believe you're wiping the damn door off with your sleeve!" She groaned as she crossed her arms over her chest and tapped her foot impatiently. "When you're done covering your leather jacket with nonexistent gunk, get over here!"

"Hey!" Milo yelled. "This is a special, valuable, amazing piece of machinery and I don't want it to be dirty or ruined because it was my special present from my father, so don't rush me!" He looked lovingly at the shiny black paint job. "I don't want anything bad to happen to my car."

"And here I thought your dick was the most precious thing to you," she drawled. "I hope it won't be sad to know it's been replaced. And if you love your car so much, why don't you marry it?" She stuck her tongue out at him.

"Very funny, Mikaelson," Milo scoffed. "I just don't want to ride a bus home with snotty kids and people covered in dirt!"

Natalie shook her head. "You don't have to worry about that. Your cars are safe here. My dad has a lot that he keeps around. You do realize that if you weren't such a big chicken we could have done the report at my place and your precious car would have been safely tucked away in a secure parking garage, right?" She frowned. "And furthermore, if you had just let me write the second essay for Mr. Fale, he wouldn't have decided we needed to do a third!"

"Now I think that making us do it is just becoming a sick thrill for him," Milo scoffed. "I don't know what more we can write about toxic relationships." He paused. "And your uncle Kol wants to murder me, remember?" His eyes were wide. "Call me crazy but I'd rather live than be murdered. I value my life and I want to enjoy it! And it's not my fault that Mr. Fale is a sadist who wants to make our lives a living hell."

Natalie sighed. "I guess you're right about that. I wonder why he decided to pick on us of all people?" She sighed and then looked up to see her father's neighbor watching them so she gave her a smile and a wave. "Hello, Mrs. Johnson!"

"Hello, Natalie, dear," Mrs. Johnson returned with a smile. "How's your mother? It's been a while, hasn't it?"

"She's well," Natalie nodded. "I hope you're well?"

"I can't complain," Mrs. Johnson shrugged. "I have my health. "And who is this charming young man you have with you? Your boyfriend?"

Milo smirked at this and kept his eyes on Natalie, interested to see how she would respond.

"Oh, what?" She scoffed. "My boyfriend?" She burst into awkward, earsplitting laughter. "He's not my boyfriend. Mrs. Johnson, you are so funny!"

"Hello, Mrs. Johnson," Milo introduced himself. "My name is Milo and I'm a good friend of Natalie's."

"Polite, handsome and well-educated!" Mrs. Johnson exclaimed. "If he's not your boyfriend now, dear, I believe you should rethink that."

"Thank you, but no," Natalie blushed and shook her head.

"You see, Mrs. Johnson," Milo grinned wickedly as he put his arm around Natalie's shoulders. "I create marvelous feelings in people that even they themselves cannot understand. It's all very powerful stuff and Natalie here is just scared of the deep connection we have."

Mrs. Johnson grinned. "I'm sure your father and his new girlfriend will be delighted to have you home for the evening," she said. "I'm going to go inside now and feed my cats. Have a wonderful evening, dear. It was lovely to meet you, Milo."

They watched her go and then Milo looked at Natalie with a raised eyebrow. "Your father has a new girlfriend? Did you know about this?"

"No and he usually tells me these things," Natalie replied. "She probably just made it up. Or perhaps it's the dementia setting in because she's human and all. Let's go inside. No use standing out here."

Angelica's shrill cries and laughter rang through the house as she ran down the stairs and around a corner to get away from the hybrid who was trying to catch her. She was naked as the day she'd been born in the bathtub of a Swiss ski chalet and she'd never felt so free in her life.

Finally, he grabbed her around the waist and pulled her close. They then held each other and burst into laughter before their senses picked up that someone was watching them. They then turned and found themselves looking into the equally shocked gazes of Natalie and Milo.

"Oh, shit!" Milo exclaimed as his bag fell to the floor.

"Daddy, Ms. Morningstar, hello," Natalie greeted as she tried to keep her gaze averted, although it was hard, since her jaw was on the floor.

They stared at each other in awkward silence for several seconds before Klaus finally pulled Angelica behind him in an effort to preserve her modesty.

"I…I…I…I…" Milo was unable to form coherent sentences as he pointed at his sister and Natalie's father, who were both naked.

"Natalie, dear, what are you doing here?" Klaus asked at last, trying to control his breathing. "Did I miss a text about you coming to visit? Has something happened to your mother? Has something happened to you?"

"Actually, no," Natalie shook her head. "Uncle Kol is at Mom's and he doesn't like Milo so much so we thought it wouldn't be any trouble to come do our school paper here instead." She paused. "Clearly we were wrong." She glared at Milo, whose mouth was still opening and closing rapidly like a fish's. "Milo, would you say something? She hissed, elbowing him in the ribs.

"How can you think?" Milo asked, gesturing wildly as his sister peeked at him from behind Klaus' back. "How can you even articulate a thought? That is my sister and your father and they are….they are…naked!"

"Yes, we're all aware of that and it's not doing anyone any good to freak out, so snap out of it and grow up!" She snapped and whacked his arm.

"Ouch," Milo rubbed the sore spot on his right arm. "Have mercy on my poor soul and don't hurt me!"

"Natalie, could you go and find a large body towel for Ms. Morningstar to wear?" Klaus asked his daughter as calmly as if they were just chatting over drinks.

"Oh, sure," Natalie nodded, putting her backpack down and heading to the linen closet, returning with a large towel not five minutes later.

"Thank you, Natalie," Angelica said with a smile as she wrapped the large towel around her body.

"So…you and Ms. Morningstar, then?" Natalie asked her father.

"Yes," Klaus nodded. "We're involved in something very private that Angelica thinks could lead to trouble with her family if they find out, so please keep it to yourself, all right, sweetie?" Klaus asked.

"Yeah, sure," Natalie nodded. "And Milo won't say anything either."

"You better not," Angelica told her brother.

"Do you think I'm an idiot? Whoever told Dad this news, he would definitely kill the messenger and I want to live, so I'll stay shut up, thank you," Milo reassured her. Then, wide-eyed and pale, he gripped Natalie's arms tightly after making the sign of the cross across his chest. "I don't think you understand," he said and began to shake her gently. "You don't get what's been set in motion! We are all going to die! It's the end times, it's the apocalypse! We have so little time now because Grandfather will kill us all! And…" He peered at Angelica. "It's your fault! You're the one Grandpa and Dad are so unnaturally attached to."

"Oh, will you just grow up?" Angelica scoffed as Natalie frowned and gently pushed him off her. "I refuse to let them stop me from having a life! And what they don't know won't hurt them, so you better keep your mouth shut!"

"What if they already know?" Milo asked.

"Then Grandpa would be down here already, but he's not. So, let's count it as a blessing," Angelica told him. "Will you stop being so melodramatic?" She paused, then her eyes widened. "You know…and, and Natalie knows, and Noah saw us together at the club…" She swallowed, realizing things weren't as secret as she thought they were.

"It's not so bad," Milo tried to be comforting. "Noah can keep his mouth shut but if Valerie finds out…we're screwed."

"Is it really such a big deal who your sister sleeps with?" Klaus asked Milo. "Or is it only a problem because it's me?" He crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow.

"Well, no, Mr. Mikaelson, sir." Milo shook his head and hopped from foot to foot.

Natalie lowered her head and burst out laughing.

"Would you stop laughing at me?" Milo snapped at Natalie before turning back to her father. "Well, it's nothing about you, sir. But my family is freakishly, unreasonably protective of Angelica, and…"

"And nothing," Klaus snapped. "You like my daughter, don't you, Milo?"

Milo blushed deep red. "Yes, sir."

"Well, keep your mouth shut about me and your sister and no one will have anything to worry about!"

"Don't worry," Milo assured him. "It was never my intention to say a word! My lips are sealed!"

"I just don't see what the big deal is," Natalie confessed.

"The big deal," Milo told her, "is that your father, Klaus Mikaelson, notorious Hybrid King, has seen my sister, Angelica, apple of the eyes of both God and Lucifer Morningstar, the devil himself, naked. And they're probably planning on doing stuff that will piss Dad and Grandpa off even more, but I'd rather not think about that. That's the problem!"

"Personally, I think they're good together," Natalie smiled. "She'll kick my dad's ass when he needs it, which is often."

Angelica grinned. "You got that right, Natalie!"

"Please be silent, Natalie," Klaus warned his daughter.

"Sorry, Daddy."

"All right, children," Klaus took a deep breath. "It was lovely to see you and this will definitely be an encounter for the memory books for us all, but I have reserved the house for a special weekend for me and Ms. Morningstar. I'm sorry I didn't mention it to you earlier, but for the time being, you'll have to find another place to study." He grabbed both of them by the arms and escorted them back to the door. "Text or call before you arrive next time and we'll make sure to be out in the pool before you show up so you can have privacy."

"Oh, don't worry, Dad. After this encounter, we're more than happy to give you your privacy. And it'll probably take several hours before I can get Milo to start speaking again. She grinned as she peered at the pale, silent, and immobile young man before kissing her father's cheek. "Sorry again for interrupting and I hope you have a good evening or weekend, or whatever." She caught Angelica's eye for a moment. "And you too, Ms. Morningstar!"

"You too, Natalie, thank you," Angelica told her as she wrapped her towel tighter around herself and moved back behind Klaus. "And Milo?"

"What?" Milo asked. "Please don't make me talk about this for a while. I'll keep silent, sister, you have my word on that. But it's not something that I can just accept in five minutes." Then he headed out and Klaus and Angelica watched until they were settled in the car and pulling out of the drive before shutting the door.

"Well, that saved your ass, Ms. Morningstar," Klaus remarked.

Angelica grinned and stood on her tiptoes, throwing her arms around his neck as his arms went around her waist. "You know we could still have fun if we wanted to. I'm in the mood to be spanked."

"Good to know," he teased. "I just might have to take you up on that."

Suddenly, her smile vanished, and her eyes began to fill with tears. "Klaus, I don't want…" she trailed off, unable to continue the train of thought.

"Hey, hey, love, what's wrong?" He asked, wiping the tears from her eyes and gently taking her face in his hands. "What are these tears for?"

"I don't want to lose this safe haven," she sniffled. "I don't want to be found out and for people to judge us!"

"They won't," Klaus assured her. "Natalie won't say a word, and I know neither Milo nor Noah will either. We'll be just fine," he promised before pulling her close and kissing the top of her head.

"Good," Angelica nodded. Then she looked up at him. "I know it was supposed to be a surprise, but Mrs. Johnson told me. Did you get me some roses?"

"Yes, I did," Klaus grinned. "Big ones. I'll give them to you later. They're beautiful. Just like you."

"Okay," Angelica said as she came to join Klaus next to two pots filled with dirt. "Now I'm doubly sure that everything has been put in the dishwasher or put away. So…what have we got here?" It was a lovely, sunny Saturday morning as promised. Perfect time to grow tomatoes and get a little sun. "Did you get the seeds in the dirt?"

"Oh, yes," Klaus nodded. "And I put water in one pot." He gestured at the watering can and sneaked a glance at her butt. "I thought you would want to do the other one."

After she picked up the can, she filled the pot that hadn't been watered yet and then put her hands on her hips, then went back to the book to see what to do next.

"What does it say?" Klaus asked, putting his arms around her waist and his chin on her shoulder.

"Oh, it says that all we can do now is wait ten days to two weeks and then, at that point, if our little tomato friends have been properly cared for, green shoots should start poking up out of the soil," Angie replied, very seriously.

"Well, I'll be waiting with much anticipation," he told her, a large grin spreading over his lips.

Angelica nodded, smiling back. "You got that, right, Mikaelson! I'll be very excited to see the tomatoes sprout in a couple of weeks." She clapped her hands excitedly. It was one thing to be a boss and run a business from afar, but quite another to make something grow with her own two hands. This felt like so much more of an accomplishment.

Klaus smiled back, his eyes not-too-subtly sliding over her whole body. She was dressed for sunbathing or just hanging out on the deck, in her red bikini, with the bottoms being covered by a pair of his black biker shorts, which were tied in such a way that they hung low over her hips. She didn't have any makeup on, except for some shiny, good smelling lip gloss. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail and her flip flops were on her feet, making it impossible not to hear her coming from a mile away. Overall, she was his dream girl, come to life, and he couldn't believe his luck!

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Angelica asked self-consciously, bringing her hands up to her lips. "Do I have chocolate on my face? Do I need to get a napkin?" She was blushing also and mad that he was seeing it.

"No, you're just fine," he told her. "And thank you so much for getting up early to make the wonderful chocolate chip pancakes we had this morning. They were delicious!"

Angie chuckled. "Well, thank you," she said. "I've been told I have a way with breakfast food. And it looked so nice out this morning, I thought it would be a sin to pass up coffee and breakfast on the terrace." She winked. She'd also done it to repay him for all that he'd done for her, but she knew he didn't want to hear that kind of reasoning so she kept it quiet.

Klaus laughed, reaching out to take her hand. She gave it to him and squeezed his gently. He had never felt so loved and at peace in the company of a woman before. "I know you might not want to hear this," he said, bringing her hand up to his lips to kiss it. "But I just think you're perfect."

She blushed and looked down at her feet. "I think you have a strange definition of 'perfect'. Maybe you need glasses!"

"Hey!" He scolded, grabbing her chin forcefully so that he was looking her in the eyes. "What did we say about putting yourself down like that?"

"Oh, all right," Angelica sighed. "I'm the prettiest woman wearing a red bikini, flip-flops, and bike shorts in the whole world!" She stuck her tongue out at him.

"That's right," Klaus nodded. "And may I say that both wee-wee and I approve of this more casual look of yours."

She smiled. "Well, if wee-wee approves, who am I to argue?" She asked with a wink.

"You know, I was thinking," Klaus remarked as he nervously tapped his fingers on the kitchen counter. "Now that we have tomatoes to take care of…maybe we could grow something else too?"

"What do you mean?" Angie asked, biting her lip.

"Well, I was thinking…if you and I became friends, would that change our deal?"

Angelica's eyes widened. "What? No! I guess I…I…" she blushed deep red and looked down at her feet.

"What do you think?" Klaus asked, bringing her gaze up to his. "Talk to me. And you can be honest. If this is too much…if it's something you don't want…"

"No, no," Angelica shook her head. "It's not that. It's just that I thought we already were friends!"

"You did?" He asked, surprised.

"Yeah," Angelica nodded shyly.

"Slowly growing a friendship…just like the tomatoes?" Klaus grinned.

"And with just as rocky a start," Angelica agreed.

"Well, then, hello there, friend," he smiled and kissed her gently.

She smiled. "Hello, friend," she returned, moaning loudly as the kiss deepened and she threw her arms around his neck. "Let's go to bed to celebrate our new official friendship!"

He chuckled. "Angel, it's not even noon yet."

"Oh, please," Angelica snorted. "Like that's stopped you before, Mikaelson!"

"Hello, children!" They turned around to see Mrs. Johnson smiling and knocking on the kitchen window.

Angelica looked perturbed and Klaus tried his best not to laugh. "Good morning, Mrs. Johnson! What an unexpected surprise!"

"Unexpected indeed," Angie added, through her teeth. "What can we do for you? And is it something that can be done quickly?"

"Oh, I'm sorry," the older lady grinned at Angie's temper. "I didn't mean to interrupt your…kissing."

"It's no trouble," Klaus shook his head as Angie lightened up and smiled back.

"I was just wondering if you'd found a solution to your tomato problem yet," Mrs. Johnson asked.

"As a matter of fact, we did," Klaus nodded and held up Angelica's gift.

The older woman grinned. "How nice! A gift from your girlfriend, I suppose?"

"Yeah," Klaus nodded and gave Angie a look. "It sure is a gift from my girlfriend!"

Angelica blushed and cast her eyes down.

"All right, then. Good day and enjoy the sun!"

"You too!" they called back at the same time, giving her a wave before she went back to her house, leaving them alone again.

"You know, she's right," Klaus said. "It's warm and nice out here. Maybe we should delay our nap and take a dip in the pool?"

"Okay," Angie smiled and peeled off her shorts before running outside toward the water. "Last one in has to give the other one a foot rub later!"

But Klaus just smiled, not rushing to run after her. She was right where he wanted her to be. His best friend!

Angelica rushed down the stairs, her mind fully on what was in store for her. She was wearing one of Klaus' big gray shirts with nothing underneath it, along with mascara and some plum-colored lipstick.

"I think I heard the pizza man!" She cried as her bare feet hit the floor after she ran down the stairs. "It's pizza time!" She grabbed the boxes from Klaus who just barely had time to shut the door after paying the delivery man, and ran off with them to the living room, to sit in front of the big TV.

It was Saturday night and they had decided to order in and watch whatever was on television. Pizza, breadsticks, and really good red wine were on the menu.

"Hey, I thought you were running toward me to kiss me or something," Klaus told her as he joined her in the living room. Then he gave her a grin. "I have to say, I'm a little hurt."

She knew he was teasing. "Well, you shouldn't be," she returned. "You know the order with me, Mikaelson: 1. Food. 2. Wee-wee. 3. You." She winked and stuck her tongue out at him.

"Not surprised I came after wee-wee, to be honest," he replied and winked back, throwing his wallet on a nearby table.

Angelica smiled back, gasping softly as a warm knot formed in her stomach. It was happening more and more frequently these days, butterflies appearing in her stomach without any warning.

She sat on the rug in front of the coffee table and opened her pizza box. "You know, tonight re-runs of my favorite episodes of The Nanny are on TV and I wouldn't miss them for the world! Particularly the one where Miss Babcock and Niles the butler kiss. That's on right now." Then, after turning that on TV, she took a bite of a piece of pizza that had olives and extra cheese and stared at Klaus, who hadn't touched his box at all. "You're not eating?"

Klaus winced. "I just don't know how you can eat something with so many olives on it!"

"Because I love olives!" She cried and took another large bite. "The more olives and cheese there are, the happier I am!" She paused and leaned toward his box. "What kind of pizza did you order?"

Klaus pulled the box close to himself and tried to hide it from her eyes. "I got my kind of pizza, is what I got," he told her. "No touching!" But he was blushing, which intrigued her more, so she tried to open the box and he gently shouldered her out of the way. "What did I say about no touching?"

"Well, let's think of kinds of pizza that could be embarrassing?" Angelica mused. Then she groaned. "Don't tell me it's ham and pineapple!" Her face twisted. "Ewwww! How can you eat that?"

"Stop making that face," he snapped. "It's perfectly reasonable for me to like that kind of pizza. It was a big hit when they made it on my island and I developed a taste for it."

Angelica snorted. "Oh, please! No one just develops a taste for ham and pineapple pizza! You always liked it and you're just too chicken to admit it." She paused and said thoughtfully, "I understand why. If you'd have mentioned this travesty before I went to bed with you, I might never have done it."

Klaus paused. "You're kidding, right?"

"Yes, silly, I'm kidding!" Angelica grinned. "Although that is still one of the grossest pizzas ever!"

He narrowed his eyes at her and took a bite as she continued to munch on her olives and cheese.

"Believe what you want and let me eat my pineapples in peace," he told her as he took a large bite.

"Fine," she replied, continuing to eat her own. "We'll agree to disagree." She turned back to the TV and smiled, pointing. "See? I knew it was the episode where C.C. and Niles kiss!"

"I'll have to take your word for it because I have no idea what you're talking about," Klaus told her.

Angelica's jaw dropped. "Are you serious? You've never watched an episode of The Nanny?"

Klaus shook his head and grabbed a cheese stick. "I might have seen an episode or two, but not enough to know who's who or what's going on."

"One or two episodes? Then you're definitely lacking a lot of knowledge about this show," she replied. "Niles the butler and C.C. who is rich and snobby but also funny and insecure, hated each other with a passion, but then they kissed and everything changed!"

"Wow, they made a show about us?" Klaus grinned. "Who knew! Did they make a deal to have sex with each other too?"

"Shush," Angelica snapped, her eyes glued to the TV screen. "You know nothing!" She waved a dismissive hand and then grabbed her glass of wine to gulp some down.

"You know," Klaus said as he began to kiss down her arm, "I like you too, Morningstar."

This made her burst out laughing as she gently moved her arm and turned her head to kiss him. "Don't be silly," she smirked. "You just like what's between my legs!"

Klaus gave her a hot look, his lips against her ear as he nibbled on her earlobe. "Among other things…"

She smiled shyly as redness filled her cheeks. She knew he was expecting something sexy, but she didn't quite know how to manage it without looking like a complete moron, so she just turned her attention back to the TV. It was almost too much to deal with when he was staring at her like that.

As Angelica continued to laugh at the TV with a glass of wine in hand, Klaus lay behind her on the sofa, his fingers running through her hair and gently touching the nape of her neck.

At last, she turned around to look at him and he smiled, which made her feel like the prettiest, most desirable creature in the world. She also couldn't help but notice the hungry, horny look in his eyes.

She blushed and smiled back, putting her wine down on the nearby table and then peeled off her shirt so that she was standing naked before him.

"It's about time we got to this," he joked as she straddled him.

"Well, what can I say," she shrugged, lowering her head to give him a sweet and gentle kiss. "A woman wants to be cared about. Desired."

"Oh, you're desired, Angel," Klaus assured her with a grin. "Wee-wee can attest to that." Then he cupped her breasts and kissed the curve of her neck and shoulder.

His kisses and nibbles made her let out a moan as she started to rock back and forth, rubbing against his shorts, and feeling Klaus respond. But just as things were about to get good, the scene of Niles and Miss Babcock kissing happened, and it made her burst into giggles.

Klaus growled. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me!"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," she apologized, but laughter was still on her lips. She tried to make up for it by gently caressing his jawline and kissing his neck.

But it didn't seem to have the effect she'd hoped for and he picked her up, laying her down on her back on the sofa. "What's the matter?" She protested. "I was just having a little fun! There's no need to be cranky!"

He grabbed the remote, turned off the TV, then turned around and glared at her.

"Wee-wee deserves an apology," he told her as his gaze slid over her naked body. "He's not very happy at the moment. He feels so neglected!"

She was a little taken aback at first, but then she saw the amusement in his eyes and realized he was playing with her.

"Oh, right," she apologized. "I'm so sorry, wee-wee. Maybe we should just pick up where we left off?" She winked.

Klaus crossed his arms. "I don't think so. After all you put him through, you owe him big. I think he wants to see you pleasure yourself like you did the night you were drugged and drunk."

Angie went pale. "Why would you ask me to do that?" She murmured. "You know how I feel about that night. How vulnerable and foolish I was."

"Oh, I know, I know," Klaus nodded. "But you're safe here, you know that. And I think it's time for you to accept that you were a beautiful, incredibly sexy woman that night and still are right now! It would do both of us a lot of good if you put your fears and insecurities to rest and just took a chance. Show me the woman who made me feel so many things that night. I promised myself that it wouldn't happen more than once, and that never again would I have to open a window to get some fresh air and jerk off on my own to give wee-wee some relief."

Angelica swallowed and covered her body with a cushion. "I can't! I mean, there's a part of my mind that would love to because I would love nothing more than to be incredibly sexy for you, but…I also can't stop being afraid!"

"There's no need to be afraid," he said firmly. "You're safe here. It'll be fine. Now…show me how perfect you are for me."

She shook her head stubbornly, tears filling her eyes.

He sighed and removed his t-shirt. "If I did it too, would that help?" He slowly removed his shorts and threw them on the rug. "There's no need to be ashamed. "That night brought us together. To our deal. To discovering things we never knew we needed." He paused. "Didn't it?"

She nodded and bit her lip while, without missing a beat, he gently began to rub himself.

That did it. She tossed the cushion aside and slowly reached between her legs, slowly rubbing herself at first, then harder and harder. Then, just as he sensed she was about to climax, Klaus grabbed her and kissed her hard, then pushed her back on the sofa.

"Hey!" She cried. "Do you realize that you interrupted something?"

"I do," he nodded, entering her with his finger and kissing her hard. "No one is going to make you come except me."

"Yes," Angelica nodded and kissed him back, her breathing picking up. "I think I like that very much!"

After settling them both on the sofa so they wouldn't fall off, he began tasting her slowly and deliberately.

"Harder," she cried. "Oh, Klaus, that feels good!"

"Does it?" Klaus grinned. "Well, you taste good too, Angel!" Then, when she was almost there, he buried himself inside her over and over, making her cry out his name and nearly fall off the sofa, despite his best efforts to keep her still.

"Wow," She breathed, eyes wide.

"Are you all right?" He asked. "Was that good or did I hurt you?"

"No, that was good! I feel…I feel so bad, and so good!"

"Good," Klaus grinned and held her close as they tried to catch their breaths. "That's exactly what I was going for. I wanted you to feel good."

"Thank you," she said, her voice sincere and her gaze steady as it met his. "Thank you very much."

They went for a few more rounds after that, but soon were just at rest on the sofa with her head on his bare chest.

"You might think I'm an absolute idiot," Klaus remarked as he ran his hands over Angelica's back and kissed her forehead. "But I don't understand how you could be so ashamed of what you did that night."

Angelica sighed. "Well, there are several reasons. One, what kind of granddaughter of God am I to get drunk and naked and feel myself up on the sofa of a man I hardly know? That adds to my insecurity, or at least it did. I've always thought that if I didn't act my absolute best…no one would want me. Not in a relationship or anything. Making mistakes and then admitting them out loud is very hard for me."

"But that puzzles me!" Klaus cried. "You don't know how amazing you are, and I will spend the rest of my existence convincing you that you're a beautiful, sexy, amazing woman who has a marvelous head for business if I have to."

Angelica smiled as he pushed a strand of her hair out of her eyes. "Really? I'm all that?"

"You are," Klaus smiled. "And if you ask me, you should let yourself enjoy it from time to time."

For a minute, it seemed like his message had gotten through, but then her face fell. "It sounds good when you think I'm amazing but it's not always the case. My family treats me like I'm the good china. Put away somewhere special…to be looked at and admired, but not touched because that would ruin how perfect I supposedly am." Tears began to fill her eyes. "I guess I did what I did that night because…because I was lonely. So in need of attention and validation from someone else that didn't tell me the same tired flattery over and over again, that when the opportunity came for a new kind of attention, I took it." She scoffed. "I bet this will just rush Dad and Grandpa's plan to stick me in a nunnery if they find out about it."

"Well, if that happens, I'll be at the head of the line to stop it because you know what I saw on my sofa that night?"

Angelica sniffled. "What?"

"I saw…a confident, sexy woman who drove me mad with desire for her!"

She smiled, slowly but surely being able to believe him because he was the sort of man who wouldn't hesitate to tell her the whole truth because it was the truth and not just something nice to appease her like you would an unruly toddler. "Thank you, Klaus."

He chuckled. "Well, you already thanked me several times on the sofa, but I'll take another one." He winked.

She giggled. "You're right, I did."

He cleared his throat and squeezed her hand. "Say, Angel…do you have anything going on the thirteenth of next month? I was thinking we could take off for a long weekend. 4 days, if you can manage it."

She grinned excitedly. Four whole days of no work? Try and stop her! "I'll check my calendar, but since you're telling me a month in advance, I don't think finding the time should be a problem!" She paused. "Where are we going? Just staying here?"

"No," Klaus grinned. "I thought we could go out of town. To a surprise destination."

"Oh!" Angelica's eyes widened. "A cabin in the woods? At the lake? A short road trip?"

"It's a surprise, Angel," Klaus said with a wink. "You won't know a thing more. Nice try, though!" He slapped her butt playfully.

"But how will I know what to pack if I don't know where I'm going?"

"I will take care of everything about the trip including all clothing and toiletries and whatnot," Klaus assured her. "All you have to do is get past your dad and your grandfather which is enough work, I think."

Angelica smiled and clapped. "I'm so excited! This will be wonderful!"

"I think so too." He said, playing with her hair.

She rested her head on his chest, a blissful smile curving her lips. "Klaus, thank you. For everything."

He kissed the top of her head. "You're welcome, Angel."

Valerie and Noah entered the kitchen in the morning and since they hadn't ordered any specific meals from the kitchen, they just chose from the selection of pastries, fruit, eggs, and juice, and coffee.

Suddenly they jumped out of their skins as a loud noise echoed of the walls. They turned and saw their father holding a picture of Angelica and sobbing loudly.

"What's wrong with him?" Valerie asked.

"I don't know," Noah shrugged as he filled his plate. "Who can keep track of the crises nowadays?"

"Look at her!" Lucifer sobbed, holding out the picture as Ellie rolled her eyes. "Wasn't she the most adorable little girl in the whole universe?"

"Oh, yes, yes, yes," Ellie sighed and waved a dismissive hand. "She's the sun, she's the moon…"

"You know, all this talk really makes a girl feel loved," Valerie commented, taking a bite out of her bearclaw and then sitting down at the table.

"Don't take it personally," Ellie advised. "Your father is just insane at the moment. It'll pass. He's not even paying attention to me either and I bet he wouldn't if I stripped naked and started dancing the hula!"

At that, Lucifer's eyes widened for a moment, and he gave Ellie a hot glance but when it was clear she would remain fully clothed, he went back to sobbing.

"What's going on?" Noah asked. "Angelica crisis?"

"A big one," Ellie nodded. "But nothing too horrible I hope. If so, I'd like to be told…without the hysterics."

"You see this picture of her as a toddler?" Lucifer cried, gesturing at picture of the two of them. "She's wearing a tutu and looking innocent! And I'm wearing a matching suit!" He cried. "My angel! My precious baby girl!"

"Another Angelica crisis?" Dexter asked as he came to sit next to Valerie.

"Yes," Noah sighed. "He's looking at pictures of baby Angelica and sobbing his eyes out."

"Don't laugh at my pain, Noah!" Lucifer snapped. "My pain is real and my heart is broken!" He stabbed a finger in Noah's direction. "Someone has taken her away from me!"

"What's going on?" Milo asked, striding into the kitchen and grabbing a doughnut.

"Your father is upset because your sister left on Friday without a word and he hasn't seen her all weekend," Ellie explained. "I know it's ridiculous but be patient with him."

"Oh," Milo nodded, his whole body freezing after he took a seat on the opposite end of the table.

"What do you mean by 'Oh'?" Lucifer asked. "Why did you say it like that? Do you know why your sister has abandoned us and why she's keeping things from her father?"

Ellie rolled her eyes. "Oh, for Steve's sake, Lucifer! Leave poor Milo alone! Angelica is a grow woman with a job and money, and she's entitled to a personal life that we don't have any part of!"

"You don't know it's her having a personal life!" Lucifer cried. "It could be that one of my siblings kidnapped her and is going to kill her because they think Dad is going to let her take over Heaven! Did you think about that?"

"No," Ellie shook her head. "I think Azrael would have mentioned it if something like that was going on, and she hasn't said a thing. Angelica just went out with some friends to have fun. That's all."

"And who did she have fun with?" Lucifer snapped as tears continued to stream down his cheeks. "I'd like to know when I'm not the only man in her life anymore."

"Oh, Steve help us," Ellie sighed, doing her best to try and stave off the headache that had started and was beginning to really hurt.

"You do remember Sammy, right?" Valerie asked her father. "You were never worried about Sammy or Angelica when she was with him. Why are you worried about her now?"

"Because when she was with Sammy, she always came back," Lucifer replied. "She never disappeared without a word. Not once! She may have been with him but she still loved me best!"

Ellie collapsed in a chair. "Here we go again!" Angelica came back here after all the Sammy business because she felt abandoned and alone and found us comforting to have around. Clearly we've done our job and if she's happy with a new man we should be glad for her. And you should talk to Dr. Martin about this next time you see her. It's something your therapist should know about."

But Lucifer ignored her, his gaze landing on his son, Noah. "Noah!" He barked.

"What?" His son asked, looking up from his food.

"Your sister, my darling Angelica, she must've been by the club with this new man of hers," Lucifer prodded. "Tell me. Have you seen them together? What do you know about him?"

"Well gee, Dad," Noah shook his head. "I would love to be able to tell you something, but I see so many people day in and day out and I've been so busy that I haven't been able to see her at all, alone or with anyone else."

Lucifer narrowed his dark eyes and brought his fist down on the table. "Well, where does he hide then? Mark my words, when I find the lowlife rat who thinks so highly of himself that he can touch my daughter, I will crush him like the cockroach he truly is!"

"Maybe he'll crush you," Milo muttered, but not softly enough to escape his father's hearing.

"What did you just say, son?" Lucifer demanded, his eyes turning red. "No one will crush the devil!"

"No," a wide-eyed Milo shook his head. "Certainly not, Dad!" He swallowed nervously and wished he hadn't said a word. His father was beginning to frighten him.

"What do you know about the man your sister is seeing behind my back?" Lucifer yelled.

"Nothing," Milo whimpered. "Nothing, Dad, I swear!"

"Oh, would you get a grip, Lucifer?" Ellie yelled, angry at seeing her son frightened. Her eyes became vein-y and narrowed as she rose to her feet. "Now you look at me," she demanded, her voice shaking with fury as she grabbed his chin and turned his face to look at hers in a grip he couldn't break. "I know you're worried and upset but I will not have you frightening and intimidating our other children over this, got me? Trust your children and stop putting your nose in their personal lives, especially your precious Angelica! Do you understand? I don't want any more displays like this ever again. Am I clear?"

"Yes, my beautiful Eleanor," he nodded, his eyes wide with something like fear.

"Good," Ellie nodded. "Or I'll whip your ass like never before. And not in a fun way."

As her children looked on in awe, Ellie sat down as if nothing had happened and went back to her eggs. "What's wrong with everyone? Go ahead and eat! There's plenty!"

Everyone muttered agreement and went back to their meals and Milo met Noah's eye, Angelica's secret in their shared glance as they both breathed a sigh of relief that their lives had been spared that day.
